Are You Ready to Play?If you're ready to play, there are 3 passes that will allow you that privilege currently. They are the Bronze, Silver, and Gold passes.
The Bronze pass is 1.5 avax to mint (less than $20 USD in today's value. Just a few months ago that would have been $50). It comes with a Legendary weapon and access to the pre-alpha/Alpha. There are a limited number of these passes, but this is a guaranteed way to get a Legendary NFT. @bobthebuilder2 bought one just for the weapon.
The Silver pass is 0.5 Eth and comes with 10 Psybercrates ($200 value), 2 Small Land Plots ($600 value), 2 Legendary Weapons (value depends on market), 1 Character (value depends on market), and access to play the pre-alpha/Alpha.

All About Psyber-X
Psyber-X is a play to earn first person shooter NFT blockchain game.
Phase 1
Royal Reptile Studios is building Psyber-X to launch initially as a 10 versus 10 brawler where players will battle it out for Level (LVL) token and bragging rights. It is a switchable first and third person shooter game built on Unreal Engine 5.
Phase 2
Once the game is launched into closed beta, the next phase of development begins, the land 'between' the brawls - the PsyberVerse. With a myriad of mini-games and activities planned to give all of PsyberX NFTs, and those of our partners, deep utility within an expanding ecosystem and player driven economy, while continuing to develop the different FPS game environments available across the map
Future Phases and Updates
We will integrate lands and partnership advertising through them, this includes the possibility to 'broadcast into' the live PvP matches.
Psybercrates
Each Psybercrate holds 5 NFTs. You can buy them at http://www.psyberxmarket.com where you can connect your Hive wallet and pick up the latest and greatest NFTs. Purchasing of crates with LVL Hive or HBD now. 2 Crates purchased grants early access for Psyber-Decks & Psyber-Towers testing.
Psybercrate Accessibility
The current Psybercrates have a limit. There are only 100K crates. That may sound like a lot; however, nearly 10,000 crates have already been distributed/purchased. That leaves approx. 90,000 crates to go. This is the first wave of NFTs developed by Psyber-X. Just like games similar to Magic the Gathering(c), Psyber-Decks will allow variety for your NFT holdings. When MTG first came out, the first cards (called Alphas) became very valuable later on. Who knows if the same will happen with Psyber-X NFTs
Psyber-X NFT Utility
Psyber-Decks is going to be the first mini-game provided by these side developers (Psyber-Decks is not developed by the Psyber-X crew, but we're providing the information they need to be able to incorporate our NFTs). They've already let us know that there are several other games they're building at the same time based on gaming formats we all love, like tower defense, top-down shooters, and of course Psyber-Decks which is a turn-based strategy game. Therefore...if you own NFTs from Psyber-X, you'll be able to play all Royal Reptile games. With that also comes the ability to rent your NFTs to others who will play.
Renting NFTs/"Scholarships"
Similar to other games on the Hive blockchain, once Psyber-Decks is up and running, you will be able to rent out the NFTs you own to others. I also know several people who have told me they're buying crates to partner with others who will play on their behalf. If you're not familiar with this, the way it works is one person owns a set of NFTs. We'll pretend it's 25. They find someone who is really good at strategy games. The two join into a partnership where one plays using the other's NFTs and they split the reward based on a percentage they both agree upon. This way, someone who does not have the funds to buy an NFT can connect with someone who does and voila! a partnership is made and both are satisfied. Did someone mention risk?
Risk Based Games
First, let's discuss risk...In risk-based games, you ante up something with the chance of earning something in return based on your skills or based on chance. Psyber-Decks is a game based on how strong your NFTs are vs your opponent's and how skillful you are at challenging their attacks and defenses. Will bots be able to play? Yes they will. But just like anything, they'll have to be programmed first, and if you have better NFTs than the bots, then the bots lose and you take the winner's plunder. So your ability to win is not set in stone just because a bot is playing. You still have to use a strategy to beat your opponent.

I've been working with the team for almost all of 2022. It comes with a few perks.
This is the very first video of someone playing Psyber-X after downloading it hundreds of miles away from Reptile Studios.
I have found some bugs and we are working on those right now. As we work out the issues we see, we get ever closer to allowing the Founders to download the pre-alpha testing to help us find bugs in the game.
For all the naysayers who think this is a rug...think again. This game is not only playable...it's fun!
Coming from me, @bobthebuilder2, I highly recommend you watch this video and consider if you want to get in on the ground floor of a game like this on Hive or if you want to sit back and throw popcorn at the screen, pretending like it isn't going to happen. You've likely never seen a game designed from the ground up before. This gives you a sneak peek into what Psyber-X is turning into after just one year. Many of you have spouted out names of games that have sold assets for over 3 years now and still have nothing to show for it. I can tell you from my own experience that I downloaded this game, played it, and am sharing a candid video of me playing it.
We have said for a very long time that we hope to have the alpha ready by the end of 2022. We hope to have it public by the end of 2022, also, but we've also said it may be at the very beginning of 2023 for the general public. Don't get caught up in people who are scared that this isn't happening. It's here.

Psyber-X is a play to earn / kill to earn first / third person shooter NFT blockchain game.
Phase 1
Royal Reptile Studios is building Psyber-X to launch initially as a 10 versus 10 brawler where players will battle it out for Level (LVL) token and bragging rights. It is a switchable first and third person shooter game built on Unreal Engine 5. Also close to testing is Psyber-Decks the turn based strategy game built by community witnesses that have joined the team over the past year. Psyber-Towers is another game the studio has taken on with expectations of testing all 3 games soon.
Phase 2
Once the game is launched into closed beta, the next phase of development begins, the land 'between' the brawls - the PsyberVerse. With a myriad of mini-games and activities planned to give all of PsyberX NFTs, and those of our partners, deep utility within an expanding ecosystem and player driven economy, while continuing to develop the different game environments available across the maps

We will integrate lands and partnership advertising through them, this includes the possibility to 'broadcast into' the live PvP matches.
Psybercrates
Each Psybercrate holds 5 NFTs. You can buy them at http://www.psyberxmarket.com where you can connect your Hive wallet and pick up the latest and greatest NFTs. Purchasing of crates with LVL Hive or HBD now. 2 Crates purchased grants early access for Psyber-Decks & Psyber-Towers testing.
Psybercrate Accessibility
The current Psybercrates have a limit. There are only 100K crates. That may sound like a lot; however, over 10,000 crates have already been distributed/purchased. That leaves less than 90,000 crates to go. This is the first wave of NFTs developed by Psyber-X. Just like games similar to Magic the Gathering(MTG), Psyber-Decks will allow variety for your NFT holdings. When MTG first came out, the first cards (called Alphas) making them invaluable.
Psyber-X NFT Utility
Psyber-Decks is going to be the first mini-game provided by these side developers (Psyber-Decks is not developed by the Psyber-X crew, but we're providing the information they need to be able to incorporate our NFTs). They've already let us know that there are several other games they're building at the same time based on gaming formats we all love, like tower defense, top-down shooters, and of course Psyber-Decks which is a turn-based strategy game. Therefore...if you own NFTs from Psyber-X, you'll be able to play all Royal Reptile games. With that also comes the ability to rent your NFTs to others who will play.
Renting NFTs/"Scholarships"
Similar to other games on the Hive blockchain, once Psyber-Decks is up and running, you will be able to rent out the NFTs you own to others. I also know several people who have told me they're buying crates to partner with others who will play on their behalf. If you're not familiar with this, the way it works is one person owns a set of NFTs. We'll pretend it's 25. They find someone who is really good at strategy games. The two join into a partnership where one plays using the other's NFTs and they split the reward based on a percentage they both agree upon. This way, someone who does not have the funds to buy an NFT can connect with someone who does and voila! a partnership is made and both are satisfied. Did someone mention risk?

First, let's discuss risk...In risk-based games, you ante up something with the chance of earning something in return based on your skills or based on chance. Psyber-Decks is a game based on how strong your NFTs are vs your opponent's and how skillful you are at challenging their attacks and defenses. Will bots be able to play? Yes they will. But just like anything, they'll have to be programmed first, and if you have better NFTs than the bots, then the bots lose and you take the winner's plunder. So your ability to win is not set in stone just because a bot is playing. You still have to use a strategy to beat your opponent.

About Psyber-X
Psyber-X is a play to earn first person shooter NFT blockchain game.
Phase 1
Royal Reptile Studios is building Psyber-X to launch initially as a 10 versus 10 brawler where players will battle it out for Level (LVL) token and bragging rights. It is a switchable first and third person shooter game built on Unreal Engine 5.
Phase 2
Once the game is launched the next phase of development begins. Land will be developed into the PsyberVerse as well as several play to earn games including Psyber-Decks, Psyber-Sects & Psyber-Towers. With a myriad of mini-games and activities planned to give in game PsyberX NFTs, and those of our partners, deep utility within an expanding ecosystem and player driven economy, while continuing to develop the different FPS game environments available across the map.
Future Phases and Updates
We will integrate lands and partnership advertising through them, this includes the possibility to 'broadcast into' the live PvP matches.
Psybercrates
Each Psybercrate opens to reveal 5 NFTs. You can buy them at http://www.psyberxmarket.com where you can connect your Hive wallet and pick up the latest and greatest NFTs. Psybercrates are currently purchasable with LVL, Hive or HBD for a limited time. In the coming months, we intend to allow purchasing of crates with LVL only.
Psybercrate Accessibility
The current Psybercrates have a limit. There are only 100K crates in total supply. That may sound like a lot; however, nearly 10,000 crates have already been distributed/purchased. That leaves approx. 89,000 crates to go.
Psyber-X NFT uses
Psyber-Decks is going to be the first mini-game provided by these side developers (Psyber-Decks is not developed by the Psyber-X crew, but we're providing the information they need to be able to incorporate our NFTs). They've already let us know that there are several other games they're building at the same time based on gaming formats we all love, like tower defense, top-down shooter, and of course Psyber-Decks which is a turn-based strategy game. Therefore...if you own NFTs from Psyber-X, you'll be able to play Psyber-X related games. With that also comes the ability to rent your NFTs to others who will play.
Renting NFTs/"Scholarships"
Similar to other games on the Hive blockchain, once Psyber-Decks is up and running, you will be able to rent out the NFTs you own to others. I also know several people who have told me they're buying crates to partner with others who will play on their behalf. If you're not familiar with this, the way it works is one person owns a set of NFTs. We'll pretend it's 25. They find someone who is really good at strategy games. The two join into a partnership where one plays using the other's NFTs and they split the reward based on a percentage they both agree upon. This way, someone who does not have the funds to buy an NFT can connect with someone who does and voila! a partnership is made and both are satisfied.
Risk Based Games
First, let's discuss risk...In risk-based games, you ante up something with the chance of earning something in return based on your skills or based on chance. Psyber-Decks is a game based on how strong your NFTs are vs your opponent's and how skillful you are at challenging their attacks and defenses. Will bots be able to play? Yes they will. But just like anything, they'll have to be programmed first, and if you have better NFTs than the bots, then the bots lose and you take the winner's plunder. So your ability to win is not set in stone just because a bot is playing. You still have to use a strategy to beat your opponent.

Psyber-Decks Who knew that a few NFTs could cause people to get up to no good? Grab your commons and uncommons, boys...the Rares and Legendaries are about to get overwhelmed in this battle scene of NFT vs NFT. Each NFT within the Psyber-X line up has been assigned stats with varying strengths, defenses, speed, etc. There are some NFTs in Psyber-X that have been given special powers over others and of course counters have been built in to smack the powerful ones back and keep them in line. There is balance, but it will only take playing to find out where the "easter eggs" are and what strategies work best.
If you're not familiar with "Easter Eggs" in terms of movies and games, it means there are hidden gems throughout the game. In this case, some cards that you'd expect to be weak turn out to be strong. While the rarities have been set by our crews here at Psyber-X, Psyber-Decks has added some spice by flipping the rules. They're programming it, so it's their rules and their stats. Wanna find an "Easter Egg" NFT amongst the commons or uncommons? Guess you'll have to grab a crate or two.

Cost Every mini-game, like Psyber-Decks, will have an ante to play; however, they will each also have a Practice mode where you can play just "for funsies." At first the game may set differing ante amounts or they may allow players to set the terms, but this is still being developed. There will be a take by the developers for providing the game and it will range between 1-5%. This information will be provided at a later date. The hope is that sponsored games will also be provided so that those who own NFTs but don't have LVL can join a sponsored game to earn some LVL, then reuse that LVL in the anted games. A minimum of NFTs are needed to play; therefore, Psyber-Decks will not be a free play-to-earn game, but entry into the game will be as low as buying 1 crate of 5 NFTs. Phase 1
Royal Reptile Studios is building Psyber-X to launch initially as a 10 versus 10 brawler where players will battle it out for Level (LVL) token and bragging rights. It is a switchable first and third person shooter game built on Unreal Engine 5.
Phase 2
Once the game is launched into closed beta, the next phase of development begins, the land 'between' the brawls - the PsyberVerse. With a myriad of mini-games and activities planned to give all of PsyberX NFTs, and those of our partners, deep utility within an expanding ecosystem and player driven economy, while continuing to develop the different FPS game environments available across the map
Future Phases and Updates
We will integrate lands and partnership advertising through them, this includes the possibility to 'broadcast into' the live PvP matches.

Game Updates Available shooting environments thoroughly planned out for every gamer, from free to play mobile gamers, pay to play bragging rights, skill based earnings and E-sports style tournaments, all gamers will find a fun way to fit in.
Development Updates In development we also have Psyber decks and psyber towers mini games within Psyber-x utilizing the NFTs and level token providing additional utility to both. Also in development is the omni chain bridge which will replace the Avalanche bridge and include several top chains.
Tokenomic Updates LVL token holders receive Founder Psyber Crate airdrops monthly for holding 200,000 LVL token. Psyber-X Governance token airdrop will be a phase 2 announcement once game is launched to all LVL holders 1 to 1 not including the team. This token is yet to be announced and is rumored to launch on the gasless MYRIA Ethereum layer 2, zero fee chain.
Why MYRIA? Myria Blockchain is an ETH L2 gasless network. While leveraging the security of the Ethereum network, the ZK-rollup technology will provide a high throughput rate with transaction speeds up to 9,000 per second. This has Myria primed for mmo gaming & bridging with Hive could prove to be a benefit to both chains.

Here at Psyber-X, we're building an experience. Are there other FPS games available? Yeah, sure. Can you find some that are available right now that go BOOM and earn you crypto? Sure...there are some. We even encourage you to play them. They'll get you ready for what we have in store...
Using the UnReal engine, we are developing a world where you can have a world class shooting experience against all of your friends while also earning crypto. We're not just building a flash game or a web browser game. Those are simple to build and the graphics reflect that simplicity. We are putting details into Psyber-X that will rival games some pay $60-$100 to play. Ours will have several options like Free-to-Play, Pay-to-Play, Play-to-Earn, and potentially...Risk-It-All games. Our realm is developed around the use of NFTs and crypto. You've seen just the first set of NFTs that are available. You may have even bought some of the crypto. There is so much more to come!
LVL When Psyber-X was announced, @saltyreptile was the account where LVL (Level 1) was created. 500M LVL tokens were made. 250M LVL tokens were set aside, locked for the future, when we will have developed more games that will be linked to LVL, aside from Psyber-X. Those 250M LVL tokens have been moved to the @psyberbank where anyone can see they reside.
The remaining 250M LVL tokens have been moved to the marketplace, for the most part. By the "Most Part," I mean all but 1,731,583.519 LVL, still held by @saltyreptile today. This represents 0.346% of the 500M LVL that was created less than a year ago. The purpose of selling the 250M LVL was to get the coin out to the masses before the game was released so that when the game goes live, people are able to play using the LVL they have accumulated for the Pay-to-Play feature.
The LVL has been sold in exchange for Hive. It has also been posted on Liquidity Pools for rewards throughout the Hive ecosystem, not just the LVL:Swap.Hive pool. Over 20,000 Hive was Powered up as Hive Power to help earn Resource Credits (RC)-the credits needed to create accounts on the Hive blockchain and to pay for transactions on the same chain. We have also used LVL to reward people for delegating Hive to the @psyberx account so that more RCs could be earned. We have used proceeds from LVL sales to pay for developers to build a bridge from LVL on the 2nd Layer of Hive to Avalanche, another blockchain with fees, albeit small fees. We have also used Hive to pay for artists, game developers, and various other business expenses. Due to the transparency of the blockchain, all transactions are visible. We have been very prudent with the funds entrusted to us. We may not tell you where every fraction of Hive goes, but you can see to where it is transferred and how much is moved at any moment of any day at any time in our accounts' histories. So what are we doing with the Hive we have used? We're building a game. What will we do with the Hive we will continue to receive? We're building a game. So when will we see the game?
Wen Game? As reiterated over the last 10 months or so, the game is expected to be live by the end of 2022. That's this year! We have a map walk-through experience August 13. Those who are FOUNDERS will get to see it sooner. It seems the closer we get to each of our announced dates, the more FUD we see. I suppose that comes with the territory of working in the realm of crypto. Even after the game is released, we will likely continue to have people say more of the same. We're building the game for the masses. We understand that there will be some who say, "There won't be a game," "The graphics aren't that great," "I can't believe they are talking to other blockchains," "I want to know what you did with the 2 Hive I spent on LVL!" "You have to be rich to win," "It's full of bots," "I could have made this in 2 days," and so on. We get it. That's why Hive is FULL of games just like the one we're building with graphics so much better than ours and only the people who have invested 0 Hive into them win the majority of the winnings. Enough of that BS!

Imagine a drone that you send to the sky which relays all the information down to you regarding the whereabouts of all your enemies. Think that could be useful? Me too! As I started to focus on NFTs that could have effects after you're killed, like Vengeance, I came up with an idea that I thought could be very helpful if you're playing on a team or just happened to be in a crowded space. I thought, "I'd want to have some cover if I was in a bloody fight." This is where Death Plume came up...what if I could have a plume of smoke thrust up into the area so that people on my team could take cover? I though it was a great idea, and so did the team...so now you have, Death Plume.

Considering movies like The Princess Bride, I wanted to take the concept of avenging someone's death to a different level. If I could avenge my own death through an NFT, how could would that be? First, I had to create Vengeance...which was quite simple in theory. However, in gaming, you have to have the antithesis to each weapon you create, for the most part. So once I came up with Vengeance, I knew I had to come up with Anti-Vengeance to counter its effects.
The first NFT I want to highlight is "The Jolly Chimp." This is my favorite of all the NFTs Psyber-X created. I'm a fun loving guy and can appreciate a gag or two along with the laugh that accompanies it. In this video, I share the inspiration I had that led to the Jolly Chimp taking shape and gaining a place as a Common NFT amongst Psyber-X's alpha release.

The next NFT in our series is Twitchy. This NFT was imagined by @papacrusher. With a background in firearms training, he was able to pull from his profession the idea of increasing your reflexes to be able to pull off more shots in rapid succession.
In a FPS, this is a great NFT to have. I think that this will come in handy throughout the game, especially if you upgrade this to Level 5. If you get a 0.9% increase in speed per Level factor, that will give you a 4.5% increase in firing speed. This could be the difference between winning a losing a gun fight if all else is equal between you and your opponent.

Between @papacrusher and I (@bobthebuilder2), we came up with almost all the ideas for the NFTs that will be found in Psyber-X (at least the ones imagined up to this point).
I wanted to create a series where I discuss each NFT, one at a time, and give you a history of how we came up with them and what we, as the imaginations behind the NFTs, expect the items to do inside the game, once they are "brought to life" and in use.
I know I speak for @papacrusher and myself when I say, "These are our babies!" As much as the artists will likely love seeing their creations in people's wallets, @papacrusher and I also feel like like NFT fathers. LOL...It has been a delight to see the thoughts we had turn into a visual representation, later to be animated and used to bring joy to hopefully millions of players. Again, this is an introduction of what is to come. I hope you enjoy the series...and I hope I complete it...hahaha

In February, we let you know that things were going well and that we decided to hire 3D artists and that we would model our own world with even better graphics than what Unity offered. Just to explain a little...Unity allows people to build 3D worlds using their pre-built images/3D built assets. While we can appreciate Unity assets, we got rid of 100% of all Unity assets we had been using.
We've gone UnReal! In UnReal, we can create our own assets with the highest quality. The flexibility we have with UnReal is...well...UnReal

We are customizing all the images, objects, buildings, etc. We are building them and they are amazing! We are bringing you a gaming experience. Obviously, making the best graphics may take additional time.
We expect to see the map opening up to the Founders NFT holders in July...yes...We know that's just a couple weeks away. We do not have a set date yet, but once we do, we will be letting you know what the day is so you can get giddy as a school girl...as we all know school girls are giddy!

On May 13, the Founder Starter Kits will no longer be available in the same form as you know them today. At 5:00pm, Pacific Standard Time, the Marketplace opens and the Founder Starter Kit tour goes solo. The No Remorse NFT and Juggernaut NFT will no longer stay in the band.

This is our first major update in showing you our Cyberpunk landscape
The most important items to take note of here are the following:
The environments that will encompass PSYBER X. Think of this as more of an experience, as we're still very early in the process.
In this update, we've left out a few items that will be added later down the road including working GUI, a more active bot system for the AI that you will run into in the world.
Not only will you have to worry about other online users, but you will also run into AI/bots/large mechs and other hazards. ( watch out ! )
The portals will not be in the final gameplay as that would not work with a large match size. This was just to show the different environments quickly.
The final map will be very expansive and have many biomes just like Fortnite, but even more so unique.
We are still working on different weapons, and a different shooting animation/effect is being implemented for different weapons.
The road ahead... We have branched out into our community and started to target talent for our operations (non-dev positions) mostly marketing and other creative aspects.
We have started to expand outside of Hive to bring more people into our world here on Web 3.0. Using PSYBER X as a tool, and interesting topic we have been succeeding in this aspect.
Using Web 2.0 (Twitter, Instagram, tiktok, ect.) as a funnel we have started to onboard people interested in an FPS play to earn game! This is beneficial for all those on Hive, not just those interested in PSYBER X.
This is also achieved by giving over 200,000 LVL token to the community in current contests ending & 10,000 each by completing challenges for onboarding & promotional assistance. Look for more very soon with much larger rewards even if LVL 10x yet again.
On Hive there is something for everyone! Some will love to play Splinterlands, some will want to play Rising Star, yet we are working to onboard GAMERS which will bring along their friends in droves.
@laritheghost and @dynamicrypto have been speaking with influencers, large crypto promoters, and other high-power youtube personalities.
We are on schedule to start setting up interviews and push PSYBER X/Hive to a new audience.
We are still looking at a late Q2 Founders & Streamers demo launch and EOY for gameplay as there is still much to do. (You're early)

- Yes! we use Unity assets, but they are not copy/pasted onto a screen to create what you see. It doesn't work that way. There is still so much to do, and creativity/skill is very much needed.
If it was that easy to create a full FPS game on the blockchain it would have been done millions of times already. * There will be very powerful players on the blockchain, and some of them are already building out their games. The problem is it will be many years before they are playable, or even in Alpha. * Do your research.

The Road Ahead
We’re currently working on a write up about the tokenomics for LVL, and the technicalities of PSYBER X and how everything will play a role.
We’re still in the funding phase, but PSYBER X is about 1/6 funded so far.
We’re working to find other avenues for our funding goals so we can solely focus on this project, and complete it at rocket speed. (Including contacting venture capitals)
We’ve built an awesome foundation of community members, and it’s growing every day.
It’s still a long road ahead (In crypto space terms), but we’re continuing to push on with the resources we have. We thank everyone that has been involved so far, and the feedback we have received.
