Biscuits with a Boss: Recent Episodes

Happy Your Space

Running and growing your own business requires so much of one's self including love, sweat and tears. As a Female Entrepreneur, I have felt that starting my own interior design business, Happy Your Space, has been similar to bringing up a second child. There are different stages of a business development, which include growing pains, between a surviving business (through its infancy) and a thriving business.

This podcast features conversations over cookies with female bold boss business owners, such as what ignited them to get started and how they found their passion and purpose. I hope these stories of hardship and success will inspire others out there to blaze their own trail in whatever capacity that may be. I will also share little nuggets of love for Ted Lasso.

This week's episode, Less Hustle More Flow, features business coach, Cindy Beerworth! Cindy is a mama, fur mom, wife, business launch coach, and lover of all things movement. We talk about how to how multi-passionate people can thrive doing what they love. Cindy sheds light on how she amplifies, supports, and ignites people to breathe life into your business. She talks about the importance of finding the flow and ease of showing up authentically and consistently in your business. Never live in the world of "what if", live in the world of "why not"? You can be so close to something and live with it every day and not realize how special what you do is or that is truly a superpower. She shares how her own fertility journey revealed how strong she was and helped blaze the trail she is on today with her business.

Cindy Beerworth is not a one-size-fits-all type of coach, but rather a coach for multi-passionate women. She works with women that are ready to design the YES life that serves them and their desires, uplifts them through the ebbs and flow of life, and shifts the idea of overwhelm to overflow and abundance. Each of her experiences has helped her get crystal clear on her personal values: community, connection, love, vibrance, and fun, and have shaped her into the coach, mentor, guide, and friend that she is today.

Calli is a Montessori certified guide for parents, an Early Childhood educator, the founder of Little Farm Montessori, and a mom to two little boys.

In this episode we talk about Calli's story of taking something she considered a weakness and transforming it into a super skill. We talk about the stresses of parenting and the demands placed on child rearing. Calli shares how Montessori and living on a farm changed her perception of education and how she believes it can help raise happy and successful children of tomorrow.  She talks about the importance of shutting out the negative talk; and seeing yourself through your gifts instead of your struggles.

Through over 8 years of experience in teaching early childhood and Montessori education and from her own experience as a parent, Calli saw that all learning began in the home at birth.  This is why she turned her focus from teaching in a Montessori classroom setting to helping to guide parents in supporting their child’s whole development in everyday life at home through the Montessori method.

This week's episode, The Time strategist's life features Jaimee Campanella. Jaimee is a time strategist and productivity consultant who mentors and guides parents, professionals, and entrepreneurs to take control of their time. On this episode we discuss time scarcity vs time abundance. We talk about how time should be considered as valuable as money and be treated as such and how terrible the phrase “I'm good! I'm busy” really is.

Jaimee shares her story of rapid growth, overwhelm and burnout. She iterated many times before finding her zone of genius. I'd like to think the theme of this week's episode is Shine bright, shine far, be a star! where you live, where you are be a star but don't burn too bright and burn out. The goal should always be sustainable growth.

Jaimee knows the value of time and respects the beauty and creativity born from clear structure and precise organization. Now, as an entrepreneur and mother of two young children, her passion for organization and time management has enabled her to achieve the elusive balance of work and family life.
