In this Age of Trump, conservative Christians have been emboldened to call dibs on Jesus Himself. In doing this they’ve become bullies, long on talk, short on listen! In their doctrinal/political discourse they freely wield Jesus like a weapon. The truth is, IT’S NOT JESUS they’ve weaponized, but only their 2-dimensional understanding of Him. This site is designed to counter the conservative Christians’ static rhetoric about God and to reclaim the sacred name of Jesus.

With giant quantum steps I’m overtaking the challenge of balance.

Training wheels not needed, Betty balances herself alright.
My course included: mostly sidewalks, a bit of road.
And I’m a lost Wright brother at Kitty Hawk with a single concern:
Not to do with WHERE I’m going; but with keeping myself upright
And psyching myself against an overwhelming allure to fall over.

The Big Blue Betty knew I was ready.
Her lower c. of g. made her ride steady.

Disappointments and strife. Always knew what to do

There’s a long-ago story we revisit every year.
That presents a still-life image inside our brains.
An image of a world that operated in ways less complicated.
Our imaginations repaint us into a Currier and Ives scene.
Bliss-filled feelings get reincarnated in our hearts.
At that time when One newly born into a stable—
Into the world on a night when the Light came out.
2
It’s a clear star-filled night with snow blanketing rolling hills
That lays out a soft bed and brings with it an almost grab-able still.
Angels flitting, near and plentiful, create a feeling some might really appear.
While silver chimes. Brass trumpets o’er the crisp air sound.
To ring a bell, trip the re—mind back to a time
When One newly born into a stable—
Into the world on a night when the Light came out.
Ch
The years pass by, by the 1000s, still remembering.
When a world—wrung with yearning—woke up to a [whole] new view…
And the baby enrapt in a swaddling glow,
And the sheep and the shepherds (add in a sprinkle of cattle lowing)…
Kings, celestial beings, every whit now bowing low—
All that time ago when the Light came out at night!
3
As youngest of 5, I got picked on & teased growing up but
During that recurring time of year, love acted like a blanket
6 layers deep and multi-faceted.
With my sisters tickling & chiding me, were at the same time taking good care of me.
My brothers were busy bothering me and pointing out to me my dumber side.
It seems I was well-placed at the end of my family line.
The years pass by, I still remember it: that night when the Light came out.
4
A nuclear brand of love extended down my mom’s side.
Yielding a full spread of uncles and aunts…
Who’d intuitively pull together and up the slack.
To fill in the cracks around any and all necessity gaps.
For the blessing of us—the countless number of downline brats.
From my view: a full crew in every way imaginable.
It all snaps me back to the night when the Light came out.
5
Our Christmas times, as I recall them now, were—every year—
Crowded out by my mother’s broad shoulders,
By my lavish continuum of family members plus
By shepherds, kings, celestial beings, a standing-room-only radiance of angels
All cramming in around our tree, in around our table,
All on account of the One newly born into a stable—
Into the world on a night when the Light came out.

The High Winds Adventurer
With Signals to a Weather-vane
1
Singer from the high cliffs at the end of the earth,
Sender of whirling tales
Bend them to issue out a far cry;
Make them slap upon and off
The sweat-faced rocks;
Only to follow brooks, chase the geese flocks.
Then to eventuate: somewhere swallowed up
By hungry depths of crevice.
2
My fellow wandering searchers,
Gleaners of lost and fallen squalls:
“Look hard and you might tell
The cloud bank from the mighty jutting snow caps.
(Everything has been regulated in scale
On your topographical guide maps.)”
3
Singer from the high cliffs at the ends of the earth
Send compressed melodies in transit.
Sandwiched in-between cumulonimbus lifts,
They will lumber on, blown along…
Till wet sheets of torrents
Pour down as if a manuscript
Is getting penned against the sky;
And inter-smacking canons are laying waste to the hush.
4
Singer from the tall cliffs in the halls of the earth
Gather harmony from diversity...
And from the four corners of the globe.
Blend them. Feed them (in total)
Into the flow of Your robe.
Seed them within flood rains of spring.
Bale them and offer them up to talons of the storm.
Sail them beneath wings tuned for traveling immense distance
So as to disperse, and all, hither and yon.
So far and wide might come to abide
Inside the soul…and so too, the lonely traveler might know.
Sail them beneath wings tuned for traveling immense distance
So as to disperse, and all, hither and yon.
So far and wide might come to abide
Inside the soul…and so too, the lonely traveler might know.

Verse
Together we make up a buzzing swarm [hive] of deconstruction
In our claiming “we are right!” simply because “we are Christians!”
As god’s citizens, we are aimed at and hell-bent for heaven.
Does god swell with pride while mollified in the viscosity of our praises?
Or do we drag down our own statuses
And our versioned Jesus along with us?!
Verse
Listen closely and you might detect
An inner context in each of the buzzes
A definite whine of “thems and usses”
A throbbing pulse of who’s to blame.
Millions of assorted “buts and thuses”
Millions of additional “can’ts and cuzzes”
Verse
And the god they are so determined to acclaim…
Is a quart-sized rendition of the true I AM.
His creation is but a model miniature of the real thing;
Limited in every way imaginable: in scope, in stature, in texture,
Scaled back—it hangs framed on a hook
Like dead meat for vultures of ridicule to pick at.
Verse
And in the other corner stands ‘all the others’
All who follow their God-given whims and indigenous talents.
Going strictly by, what feels right. All things au naturel.
And they are delighted—not threated—by other ‘others’
Not cookie-cuttered versions of their own mirrored images.
In fact, they seem to like that arrangement even better.
Verse
And what seems to be springing up out of this other corner
Is a new breed of Jesus types who hold closer to His advice,
To His principles, His unfettered collection of recommendations
His words, organically-mannered to be easily take in
And taken to heart...to get built upon.
With interpersonal relationships and whole dominion ones alike.
Chorus
The ‘god botherers’ are at odds with all others
They will pester god with every this and that
They bother him incessantly, second-naturedly
They take to the practice like a duck takes to water
Like Fred and Ginger take to the dance floor
Their way is to pester god till he coughs up answers
Ones they can slap the common sense right out of,
And twist their essences into cartoon balloon shapes.

BOW TIE
Verse
You can say with all certainty that clothes make the mannequin
But clothes can’t make the man.
You take somebody like a Jeffrey Dahmer, comb his hair
Sprink on talc. Doll him up and slap a bow tie on him
But doing all that won’t really change a thing.
In the end, you'll NOT want him near your daughter
There are some better off hogtied than bow tied.
Chorus
If you lie down with dogs you may well
Rise up with fleas or worse some disease.
Whereas beauty is skin deep, ugly seeps clear through to the bone.
There’s a sort of nasty that can't be vacuumed up or
Perfumed out of the human fabric.
You can’t get ahead of backwards thinking
Nor bow tie the wrong-headed.
Verse
In the same vein the reverse is true.
You can’t reduce a sound someone, who’s truly good and right
To a blurry over-simplified sound byte.
Nor to some other villainy-like err apparent.
Circumstantial evidentiary slurry might catch him out in a hurry.
Off-balance him. Magnify seeming imperfections in his image.
When back-footed and flailing, he’ll be rife for toppling and defaming.
Chorus
If you lie down with dogs you may well
Rise up with fleas or worse some disease.
Whereas beauty is skin deep, ugly seeps clear through to the bone.
There’s a sort of nasty that can NOT be vacuumed up or
Perfumed out of the human fabric.
You can’t run an ‘end around’ on backwards thinking.
No bow tie can turn back-to-front someone wrong-headed.
Verse
The simple and true chap might make an easy mark
For snapping a trap via photo ops.
Off his game—he’s easily ensnared inside the paparazzi’s frame,
Scandal rags, blue-lit CR tubes, etcetera.
All you eye witnesses, beware,
Don’t you use his own bow tie to noose him!
Cause, short of binding him, it’s bound to choke him.

Beach Ball Gratitude
1
Tom Hanks in that movie had a substitute one.
He drew a face on it. Called it Wilson (not Rita).
It helped him keep his wits while castaway.
And keep his hopes up and eventually
Get him all the way back to the continent…
Back (sort of) to the life he had before.
2
With a flat and pliable, real beach ball.
You must work it to make it go round.
And (unlike Wilson) must awaken it from flat to sphere.
Inflate it with your own breath and attitude.
Speak it up with positive self-talk.
Till it’s light and easy to keep off the ground.
3
Once up in this atmosphere,
Your goal becomes keeping it, not only inflated,
But up in the air. Not touching the ground!
A light, delicate maneuvering strategy
Tapping with fingertips helps with this
And with sending it over to another, then another.
Around the circle, the town. Around the world.
4
If it should get away from you,
It will stay aloft for a bit on its own
And when eventually touching down again
Perhaps in a field of tall scrap grass or
Out over or upon a body of water
It will float and not go under.
It may re-lift all on its own
Or will, at least, be easily retrievable.
5
So it is with our personal attitude
When inflated with positive air, it becomes gratitude
Easily floated through inner space
Where it entertains notions of getting passed ‘round
And swelling into an even greater sphere of graltitude:
Positronic attitudes abound at higher altitudes.

The Maker didn’t make it, didn’t mean it this way.
Freedom to move you view as heaven sent…
Cruel and unusual punishment!
You—you’ve been taught to get on
With a life set in nowhere. No life at all.
No venture. No gain. One thing is sure:
No rhyme in your time while sin is in the world.
Feel away in the dark to a secret place at night;
Summon up some thread, the fabric of your life.
And fashion out a giant bag so it will hold hot air.
Get it off the ground. Get you out of there.
Get it off the ground. Get you out of there.
Get it off the ground. Get you out of there.
Get up. Get up. Get out . Get away.
Forsake those who make you pay and pay and pay.
Free-given freedom that is never spent…
It's a cruel and unusual punishment!
Steal away in the dark to a launching place at night.
Summon up your source, the fabric of the Light.
Fashion out a giant scheme that can trap hot air.
And get it off the ground and get you out of there.
And get you out of there.
And get you out of there.
C: Only your strong belief will fill the balloon.
Your unfailing faith will give it lift.
With magnetic north pulling the center of you,
You fix direction as you outward drift.
D: You will sense you are airborne when
Passing high over like a trespasser un-noted.
And equipped with the skill to out-will the blow
And a flight plan written in you, so that you will know as you go.
so that you will know as you go.
As you go.
As you go.
As you go.

Dream So Real
Intro
I was caught up for a moment
Or has it been forever I’ve been away?
Now, I get mixed-up in mental weather
Is it dream? Is it real? I cannot say!
I get mixed-up in mental weather
Is it dream? Is it real? I cannot say!
Is it dream? Is it real? I cannot say!
Vs
I must have drifted: I’m dreaming this!
A foreign world and I’m compelled to stay.
Oh, the selfish act, the freeze-like sin sucking me in.
I’m sinking into the day-to-day.
Ch
The dream seems so real.
etc.
Vs
I am drifting now; I’m dreaming this!
On the surface natural land escapes.
The never-ending seas: sea of blue, sea of trees.
But greed and lust, pain, mistrust
They get the vision lost;
And they make it fluoresce like plastic
To make the real more fantastic.
Vs
I am dreaming now: I’m on the grid.
The clock hand points, I zag I zig.
I function in sync with the tock and the tick;
It’s bending my shape, leaving me thick;
It tears me from myself:
I find my way with the time map,
Or get caught in the clock trap.
Ch
The dream seems so real.
The dream seems so real.
C:
Heart in a cage. Thoughts in a maze.
Without wing or wand, I’m beyond the helping hand.
Controlled by emotion and now my locomotion
Limits to the step-by-step.

Out of Bounds Narrated
Intro
Working, trying not to stumble
Till I get me put head side up
Turned right side around
Repeat
Vs
Out of nowhere, I swear, there are times I could tear
Out across the hills, over tops of trees
Without machine, steering in the breeze
Insensibly. On my way to You.
Repeat
Ch
Too soon it’s gone, nowhere to be found
I’m left as if I couldn’t take 2 steps without wondering on:
How is this done without falling down?!
Repeat
Vs
And again when I’m on the mend
And I’m letting go my disguise you know
The building warmth in my heart gives me a start
It makes me plug my ears for the roar. It’s over to You.
Repeat
C: Oh I’m busy inside, the times I’m un-denied
Rise above the need for mainlined security
And when my soul can know its own…
I’m out of bounds. I’m gone.
I’m out of bounds. I’m gone.

1
Nearly 20 years on sees a post-apocalyptic Australia
Starring Mel Gibson as Mad Max and he’s driving a
Supercharged, arcade noir road stallion—in search of fuel.
And traveling with him, albeit over his head,
We see a different Roto-Gyroman (a Gyro Captain)
Bruce Spence rotoring across the big screen in 1981.
2
He flies low, buzzing a herd of evil desert punkers
He lobs a cocktail, mimes an F-bomb at those motor heads below.
Touching down, we see he’s a lanky scrounger,
A bit of a bounder and he's relying on his wits alone.
And he’s holding close [inside his coat]
A telescoping glass for scanning ‘long the ridge.
he’s a lanky scrounger,
A bit of a bounder and he's relying on his wits alone.
3
All around him, desolation is strewn at his feet.
Out a couple hundred yards reveals more of the same.
He squints to peruse as far as his naked view allows.
More squalor and destitution [lies] everywhere.
Then, lifting the glass to his eye,
He expands the tube to tune its focus.
4
A blurred mirage is forming
Out at the northern edge of the world…
An altogether different scape sharpens into bold relief
Against the backdrop of wasteland sky:
Every 50’s kid’s wildest dream-come-true
Drones…“There be drones, Captain!” Flying cars!!

Blade of the Plane
CH
I’ve been told we’ve just so much control.
My long-range sight stays straight so long,
Then makes a bend for the ground.
And I’ve learned about the other side of life;
But the blade of the plane means to wound like a knife.
Vs
I know all about the relative time.
I’ve heard some talk: out of sight, out of mind.
There’s a rumor going around, we’re not long for this place.
The gravity shows that lost look on your face.
Vs
I wonder if I’m well to hope for things not seen.
Yet I’ve caught wind we've a thing set within…
That puts us in league with transparency,
Then often I’m downed by sensory fatigue.
Vs
I’ve been warned off illusory optics.
Taught not to trip amidst the active graphics:
Things are not as they now seem!
It’s been written: “We’re but a dream within a dream”
CH
I’ve been told we’ve just so much control.
My long-range sight stays straight so long,
Then makes a bend for the ground.
And I’ve learned about the other side of life;
But the blade of the plane means to wound like a knife

Boy Einstein
Vs
Ill placed in space and time
Given to know in the youth of your prime.
Who thought of you as a boy Einstein?
They say you stripped off gears upstairs
While it’s light speed you do (though unawares)
Vs
A flourish of genius then unfolding
As the commonplace became more complacent.
For you, 2 dimensions seemed ripe for some expansions.
Vapid normalcy was vamping inaccuracy.
Shifting, always sifting through the truths and fallacies.
Truth or fallacy?
Br
And your vision broke for the creator’s field.
Vs
Schooled in the rule of gifted wits,
It didn’t go well in school.
(You weren’t to be easily fooled!)
Notions took root in “what ifs” and “as yet unproved”.
And you moved as through a corridor of doors
Toward some unknown.
Vs
The courage of genius grew boulder
As the commonplace flew further away, away.
Numbers 3 and 4 dimensions drew more of your attention.
When speed and time and gravity
Spooled up in your mind and into relativity.
Mass times light speed squared is equaled to energy.
Mass into energy!
Br
And your vision broke…
Mass into energy!
And your vision broke…
Etc.
C
Don’t listen if they tell you to straighten up.
Don’t lose yourself in the crowd.
You’ve got a sense for the center of things.
The feel for a real others can’t guess.
Feel for the real!

Episode 30: Pronounced: i.mor’ tal
(Immersive Verse)
Vs: With the infant apprehending
The nomenclature for all of nature
I will be standing with this word.
I will be standing with this word.
As the ever-new infant, the fleeting glint
Do I hold the soul of the word: immortal
Ch: Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal, say it: immortal.
Be in, beyond me: immortality.
Be in, beyond me: immortality.
Be in, beyond me: immortality.
Vs: With the regiment of sages
(With wisdom winging in the kingdom of ages)
I will be standing at a loss for the word: immortal.
And with the ancient sage with a wiser way
Am I dumb-well-founded with the sound of a word...
Ch: Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal.
Vs: With the infant apprehending
The nomenclature for all of nature
I will be standing with this word.
As the ever-new infant, the fleeting glint
Do I hold the soul of the word: immortal.
Ch: Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal, say it: immortal.
Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal.
Be in, beyond me: immortality.
Be in, beyond me: immortality.
Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal, say it: immortal
Pronounced: immortal, say it: immortal.
C: And the lone one, the unknown one
Will know one! Will know One!
And the simpleton without knowing
Will have really, really, really won!
And the shattered ones, the battered ones
Get their healings!
And the scratchers of dirt, who are searching for worth
Who are searching for worth
Will find the whole earth!

Episode 29: Give Me a Piano
(Immersive Verse)
Vs. 1
Give me a piano...
I’ll give back the black and white
Turned into colors you’ve not heard,
All sorts of stories un-occurred.
Vs. 2
Give me a pencil...
And like a poker I’ll stir
The ember coal in your soul
Or maybe I will use it like Merlin’s wand
And with it I would conjure your lead into gold.
Vs. 3
Give me a sheet of paper...
I can contribute fuel to your fire.
Work the plain and white
To make the blank burn bright
Massage the bland and void
Into a Pink Floyd.
Wake the lines and bars,
As to lure the moon and stars
In near from afar!

Episode 28: Beyond Science
(Immersive Verse)
Beyond Science
Vs: It’s beyond science. Out of telescopic reach.
Way over heads of those who think and speak and teach.
Vs: It’s beyond science. When not looking you are shown.
No formula no data, but still the truth be known.
Br: Now I’m taken in. I know where facts begin.
Now I’m more like I Am than I’ve ever been.
Ch: It’s beyond it...It’s beyond science.
(Repeat)
Br: Now I’m taken in. I know where facts begin.
Now I’m more like I Am than I’ve ever been.
Vs: It’s beyond science. The calm before the bang.
Root of universe. The seed from which it sprang.
Vs: It’s beyond science. Nothing gained in field research.
No new findings do scientific tricks unearth.
C: Scientifically if-iffy. It’s beyond science.
Abnormal for a world fed on computer feed.
Evidence for things unseen.
It’s well beyond science.
It’s beyond science.
Vs: It’s beyond science. No probes no tracking beams.
Outside the sphere of dreams of scientific teams.
Br: Now I’m taken in. I know where facts begin.
Now I’m more like I Am than I’ve ever been.

Episode 27: House of Cards
(Immersive Verse)
Vs: Once I found life was living hard, too hard.
Seeming like things were going: start...restart.
I begin shuffling with the deck—building card on card.
At first struggling to keep my structure from coming apart.
Vs: Gravity defied—it named its own design.
Me hoping madly, as if this made it stand.
Implosive thoughts: could these bring it down?
Setting in tiers…balancing up off the ground.
Ch: From the deck of circumstance dealt my hand of cards.
Suits of notions, some of kinds: read like cards.
Forming stories (second on first and so on) with cards
In the balance: my life so far, a house of cards.
Vs: I shuffle and flipping stack up and up.
Each card contingent on the ones around it.
A pursuing breath could put to the test.
A breeze of despair could really do the rest.
C: Something sitting deep in me like feeling is saying:
“When steel girders and beams start twisting
And the bricks get to flying,
All well-founded structures go to toppling, lying
Something unseen is holding righted, is holding…
This house of cards of mine (it’s fine)—never folding.”
Vs: Once I found life was living hard, too hard.
Seeming like things were going: start...restart.
Now I’m stacking grace on grace (card on card)
My structure is getting stronger with each pump of my heart.
Ch: From the deck of circumstance dealt my hand of cards.
Suits of notions, some of kinds: read like cards.
Forming stories (second on first and so on) with cards
In the balance: my life so far, a house of cards.

Episode 26: Wright Flyer
(Immersive Verse)
Vs: I’m busied figuring, listing facts that surely will astound;
Crafting secret findings, building to profound.
Going to prove I’m not a lunatic, No, I’m not a liar
Make it do what it will
Just like they did the Wright Flyer.
Ch: I’m of just one mind
Over-stepping this time
Focused upon the find
Like with the Wright Flyer!
Oh to get the thing aloft
I will suffer all the cost
And its shaky taking off
Like the Wright Flyer!
Vs: Straining at every thought I’d ever been taught.
Draining every bit of information from its source.
Staying the course of that which is other than mine:
(The seeing leading the blind)
As it must have been for them with the Wright Flyer.
Vs: Through the telescope of my will to Kill Devil Hill.
Harvester of breezes, I’m here prone and alone.
Cable controls affixed at each point of my being.
With each heartbeat, neuron fired: I climb, I bank, I fly!
Now as then: within the Wright Flyer.
C: To take it all, have I invested pains.
For wilder, bluer yonder beyond these thorough plains.
Oh the gall, holding winds by the reigns!
Oh the man: blood and breath of aero planes.

Episode 25: Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, Someone
(Immersive Verse)
Vs: Remember that scene from the big screen…
Viewed larger-than-life, in Technicolor
When the Good Witch—what was her name?
Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, someone!
Floated down from the sky in the nick of time.
Burst out from a bubble. Dressed up in brilliance.
And brandishing her wand.
Vs: Like I said, she was Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, someone…
The bad-assed Good Witch down from the north;
Came to warn Dorothy, wizard’s not all he seemed;
Been working illusions using mirrors and steam.
Throwing levers, rolling knobs, incognito behind a curtain.
Yet Glinda claims there’s another way back to Kansas again!
Ch: Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, someone…
Says to Dorothy: “You have the way home right there with you!”
“Those ruby shoes on your feet and in plain view.”
“Click them 3 times, hold Toto, and know that there’s no place like home!”
“You won’t need a wizard if you use this method…”
“Three times in total, hold Toto, hold the thought: ‘There’s no place like home!’”
Vs: Gwendolyn quelled a spell of lethargy
Cast upon some running through a crop of poppies.
They had been sent on a wild-goose chase;
A futile questfor Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin and Lion
Then: “Trapped like rats! “How about a little fire.”
“I’m melting!” “Hail Dorothy!”
Vs: Meanwhile, in a mirrored realm, some other time
Another Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, someone…
Finds herself in a similar circumstance:
Being, herself, near kidnapped
By a gang of flying monkeys (more or less)
Who also crosses paths with a psycho wizard!
Ch: Glinda, Gwendolyn, Gretchen, someone…
Says to Dorothy: “You have the way home right there with you!”
“Those ruby shoes on your feet and in plain view.”
“Click them 3 times, hold Toto, and know that there’s no place like home!”
“You won’t need a wizard if you use this method”
“Three times in total, hold Toto, hold the thought: ‘There’s no place like home!’”
Vs: Both Glindas, Gwendolyns, Gretchens, someones
Proved each of their wizards, as fakers, as liars
Both planned to make their escapes in a balloon for hire.
While ruling, hadn’t known what they’d been doing
And while leaving the city both were heard saying:
“How do you fly this thing!?”
C: The lesson for Dorothy (and us) is: follow some simple instructions
And Gretchen, the Good Witch will lead us all back to Kansas
(Or is it Michigan?) Again!

Episode 24: Eye of God (Immersive Verse)
Chorus:
Eye of God, eye of God sees me
Eye of God, eye of God reads me
Like a sun burns down the dark around me
Eye of God, warms me then frees me
Verse:
Sometimes I get caught in a tangle of living
I’ll struggle, roll around trying to work it loose alone
Managing finally to get to my knees calling on someone I’ve known
Houdini voodoo can’t hold a candle to…
When Jesus loosens my hands and feet
And I hit the street. I’m on the move again.
Verse:
Sometimes I find I am lost
And I ‘m not quite sure why
I know I got in here. I’m in here, but how and why
I scramble into action, snooping for direction, but no!
An APB out on me wouldn't serve to bring me in alive
Jesus splits, as with beacon, my region of nowhere
A feeling of help’s arrived!
Verse:
Other times I think I’m wrong-direction headed
Or worse, from my neck up I’m dead.
Overloaded with head stuff—can’t seem to decompress
Wound up without a noticeable way back down.
Thinking about it takes me further up and out of touch.
2 plus 2 no longer factors. Am I out to lunch?
With exasperated hands high, I bring my knees low.

Episode 23: Big, Like Fred Flintstone:
(Immersive Verse series)
Vs: The God that I’ve come to know. The One above,
One thing I know of Him: Big Love.
Sometimes it’s like He’s floating right there in front of me.
Pumped up gigantic. Hovering free.
Ch: Big like Fred Flintstone. Taller than Bullwinkle.
The will to stay suspended. Don’t need no tethering.
He’s airborne, jammed beyond capacity
With a lighter-than-air kind of love.
Vs: He follows me down the street. Nobody sees
The Macy’s parade blimp following me.
And should I find Him floating: wants to fill me with His own
Nimbus kind of lift till I’m overblown. I’m
Ch: Big like Fred Flintstone. Taller than Bullwinkle.
His will keeps me suspended. Don’t need no tethering.
I’m airborne, jammed beyond capacity
With a lighter-than-air kind of love.
Vs: And when His stuff of love gets inside of me:
Walk light, talk like chipmunk and then it’s me:
An endless turning cartwheel. Hand-springing on the moon.
My best push and flip gets it over to you.
Ch: Get big like Fred Flintstone. You’re taller than Bullwinkle.
His will will keep you suspended, without the tethering.
Airborne, jammed beyond capacity
With lighter-than-air kind of love.

Episode 22: Roto-gyroman Chapter Two
(Immersive Verse series)
1963: Beach Boys, pre-Beatles
Gyroboy: pre-adolescence
Down in the cellar, one day, discovers mom’s old wringer/washer
Rolled back in a corner. Out of water. Out of order.
Instinctively, he climbs aboard, puts her into light drive!
Gyro: on wringer/washer that day, escaping the basement, takes to the sky!!
The same summer in our backyard, my brother is overheard
Firing ammo from out a clutch of tennis balls
At a strike zone [pow-boing] he’s painted up on
Our garage wall, one-by-one, fastballs [Pow-boing]
Honing his curves; learning ways to paint
All 4 quadrants of the zone [pow-boing]
My brother and me: brimming with pre-Beatlemania chi
Our over-active imaginings:
Bucking purebreds inside their start stalls
Me: down our basement riding wringer/washer [now roto gyro];
My brother: outdoors crafting, with tennis balls,
His soon-to-debut No-hitter over at the Garpike ball field
No doubt rendering him—in Little League—a really big deal.
Then on game day, amidst cheering parents in the crowd
A Buzzing or whirring is heard from somewhere…
Traffic noise echoing?
Smacks more of a sudsy sloshing overhead!
My all-city brother wonders as he searches out its source,
Finally, fixing his gaze skyward and all eyes follow his…
Taking in a UFO sighting of Gyroboy rotoring by.

Episode 21: Mist of Distance
(Immersive Verse series)
Coming in out of the mist of distance
Accorded by a crowding sky
And by the dancing planets
Purveying Age of Omega: the Maker of everything…
Even so come, Lord Jesus!
Flying forth o’er the eternal span,
Bridging vast, seeming dead space,
A still breath inflates the vacuum
And the elements attend His gale force living wind…
Even so come, Lord Jesus!
As then: dawning of everlasting day
When the way, the Life and the Truth,
Like wild blue firmament bleeding through
To the farthest ends of existence
(As through the midst of distance)
And He shows larger than life itself…
Even so come, Lord Jesus!

Episode 20: The Thread
(Immersive Verse series)
Vs: Now what was it the old man said?
Through each life runs a significance thread.
Like a spine connecting
Random splashes of events
Making out of the senseless days, a sense.
Vs: This thread sometimes (like a lifeline)
Will run the distance back to
The anchor you had in your youth.
During the special cases, while out of phase
And you’re wondering: what is the use?
Br: When relentless immediacy gets to be too much,
It’s a telegraph wire to places out of touch:
Places you’ve been and will be again.
Ch: Tap in! Let the “want to proceed” begin.
Tap In! Let the “can do” spark arc on.
Tap In! Feel the Light of the world begin.
Tap In! Let the green light glow & warm.
Ch Ref: Let the green light go bright.
Let the go-light glow bright. [Repeat]
Vs: It’s [the] quick[est] distance between 2 points
When adjacent pieces of puzzle disjoint,
When oblique angles
Is the language of the day
No intersecting lines come from your train of say.
Vs: Rigors are sure to affect the thread,
From your first day until you’re dead.
Completely tearing it asunder within you
Or rendering it wonder tough like sinew.

Episode 19: Roto-gyroman Chapter One
(Immersive Verse series)
Roto-gyroman started out life a Roto-gyroboy
The rotary notion first seeded in the soil of his imagination
From there it quickly sprouted wings for hovering up off the ground
Not fixed wings but ones that spun,
Like blades (a propeller above his head).
Next, a stirring occurred; kept recurring
Whipping around; upending his soul.
When young, while running trucks through hand dug ruts,
For hours at a time, among the front yard shrubs.
Gyroboy could play out scenes
Using only stamped-plastic props
Army men (with razor seams), howitzers
Alternating playtime, schooling with circa: 1950s TV
Whirlybird visions got wood burned to his brain!
The gravity of poverty, wouldn’t succeed in depleting
From the ever-flow source of perpetual dreaming
The whorling tornado of self-esteeming
Did build up a treasure trove of stamimagination
Inside him, sufficient to lift him off the ground.

The air drawn in easy then
The living much more lively then
When Jesus comes again

The Way, the Truth will make alive
Vivid hues by living Son 2nd: Oh, the wonder: God the Son
We live a sketch of things to come.

And a lion laying down with a lamb
Verse:
Next up: time comes a thing like
Life, but better occurs
And a brilliance like in a wild open day
Can be caught up in a basket, carried away
Verse reprise:
The trees will go higher then
The sun glow less threatening
Waters run from a source anew
The sky will show a deeper blue.

Episode 17: Crucifix-Rump
(Immersive Verse series)
Crucifix Rump; the Donald!
“The Terror” “The Terrible”
Think “Terrorist-in-Chief”
Glowing in bold relief
Against any semblance of competence
That…plus Mike Pence.
His pledge is: “Make America Grate!”
Think “bone-on-bone”; “claw-on-slate”.
Think unending agitated state;
Offending below-belt berate;
“Thou fool” trumping the golden rule.
Crucifix-Rump; “The Terrible”
Standing in the middle of 5th Avenue
Lying. Pointing his military at you;
But a million marchers are storming the bridge,
80 million voters overtaking the ridge.
He’s made America grate:
Tooled by free-associated hate;
Ground-down steel; ungreased wheel;
A liberty made to ingratiate.
America’s princess—she flinches; she winces.
Crucifix-Rump; “a stable Jesus”
Or at least (an) Apostle Peter: “Commander-in-Tweeter
A Rushmore immortal; tower-o-immoral;
A wall-on-the-border; vanishing mail sorter
Haloed by a blow-dried meringue pie.
C:
His skin: over-white—so much so—
It’s flirting ‘round the edges of pink;
So pink, as to impinge on the fringes of orange.
Let me hear ya say orange. Say orange!

Episode 16 Truth Is Only True
(Immersive Verse series)
Ch: The truth is only true;
Nothing to do with point of view!
Truth is always true
Not soiled or worn through by a bent in you
Ch: True is only true;
It will piss on your opinion
And reduce you to its minion
True is always true
Br: Version truth won’t cut it
Don’t matter how you strut it
Dress it up, sleight-of-hand it
In the end, just one commandment!
Vs: Majority consensus might just induce
High confining fences
People in hordes: usually gravitate towards
And trendy ideologies can mushroom into wars
Vs: Look at Hitler and his boys
Who made a worldwide noise
With brown shirts goose-stepping
And propaganda carpet-bombing
Vs: Imagination’s more a mystical deal
When rolling right it’s an affirmative wheel
Outbound toward technology’s horizon
Where a new day beckons with hope a-blazing
Vs: Generations do a tag team a dynamo of love
Dreams and visions setup scenes above
Then leavened into something Jesus sold at length
Priced right @ one’s own heart, mind and strength

Episode 15: Pumps Hummed, Voices Prayed
(Immersive Verse)
Can’t see the forest for the trees.
A nation nobbled to its knees.
Our civilization on the skids.
What will we tell the kids?
Bullies derided while innocents were hiding;
Teargas sprayed while limbs, akimbo, splayed
Pumps hummed and voices prayed,
Grown men groaned and hearty women wept
A cacophony drone blended together and leapt
Through the roof, outside into the Epiphany sky

Episode 14: Bigger Voice
(Immersive Verse)
Ch: Hear the Bigger Voice like thunder in your heart
Hear the Bigger Voice like wonder in your sky
Hear the Bigger Voice hit right between the ears
Here’s that Bigger Voice light right in inner eye
Vs: I talk from time to time
Of a thing I can’t explain
Of a thing with which no words will work
(Save by a bigger voice) up/out the human quirk
Vs: I’ll instruct you now and then
Point out what’s what and why
I could go on without a pause
But until that Bigger Voice
I’m all garbled mumble-noise
Vs: Sometime I am undone
Own a notion known and true
Try and say till blue in face
But until the Bigger Voice
You’ve no clue, no trace
Vs: When the sun’s long down your day
It’s dark, you feel your way
And your blood pump barely makes it flow
And you’re on all fours, don't dare a go
Don’t you despair—a Voice will soon appear
C: Losing your touch with the source
Coming more the way of yours
And “battered” is a matter of course
Clasp hands and watch above
Wait for the Bigger Voice

Episode 13: Laughing with the Angels
(Immersive Verse series)
VS:
Extolling all of which originates in heaven
And spreading it over and over, around as they go…
Out on patrol through the universe street by avenue
Topping up the overall totality
Of the purview of reality
Helping people deal with and hack it
Along the route of their very own cross-life traffic.
VS:
Moving through my life as mortal
I’m getting older, slower (true) at the same time,
I seem to be growing lighter and lighter.
And newer as I’m anticipating a whole other crowd
These guys seem compiled of light-hearted mood,
A lightning quick groove and (above all) LIGHT! [alt: and LIGHT, most of all]!
Are they towers of [beaming] bright?!!!
BR:
There will come a time
When nowhere you will find me.
Search in plain sight,
Look with all your might,
You won’t find me. You know I’ll be…
CH:
Off—laughing with the angels
Laughing with the angels
A flock of “friendlies” is entreating me on.
And you’ll be asking, where has he gone?

Episode 12: Once Around the Universe
(Immersive Verse series)
Vs: I stumbled on her (literally), a heap
One night in the gutter of the street.
She’s just an old hag wearing [about] 50 lbs. of rags
That tend to gather to her—like coral to the reef.
Br1: Well, I helped her to her feet.
Her breath assaulted me, as she began to exclaim
In her way, indiscreet:
Ch: “I’ve been around the universe!
‘One time around the universe,’ He said,
‘Just to get you used to the place.
All this is yours now, My child.
The last shall be first now,’ He smiled,
“And in a split instant, I knew it all.
Aweigh, away around the universe.
I find a home now in His face!”
Vs. I thought it was some crazed babble from a cackling old goose,
I knew her wits were running loose.
As she clamored on about some absurd venture,
That, at the same time, seemed branded with an intriguing tincture!

Episode 11: I’m the Helen Keller
(Immersive Verse series)
Ch: I’m the Helen Keller
Mingling clueless amidst the stellar
Standing—as in a lineup—against a wall
A child—in amongst the pillars or towers of light
1: And like Miss Annie Sullivan
With her long arm of the scholar
She grabs me by the collar—yanks me…
In to a place my blindness comes undone;
And sends my deafness on the run.
2: And more than just coaxing me,
Or presenting a relentless grilling to me
She drags me into 360 degrees of coherency;
I emerge with a global view
Of every last thing around me.
3: I’ve been dumb in many more ways than one
Stuck inside of my own head
I’m sucking on my thumb
I’m thirsty for the living wah-wah.
Won’t someone offer me up some taste of real?

Episode 10: Waking up in the Universe
(Immersive Verse series)
The 1st time I saw her on the news I was repulsed.
Being his niece, she visually resembles him,
So much so, I couldn’t look at her face w/o seeing his.
My conditioned reflex wanted me to role them into one…
Make them interchangeable, as one and the same.
After hearing her speak a transformation began to emerge!
The morph wasn’t occurring in her face, though.
The mutation was happening in me (my perception) as
Her words, her ideas ably displayed a beautiful soul in her face.
And when I glimpsed “the Donald” on TV again,
The face they have in common seemed to favor her bright soul, now…
That bright flavor seems to scoop up Uncle Don, now
And carry him along for the ride.
Chorus:
And a forgiveness gleam has been seeded inside of me.
As God’s words are making more & more sense these days.
And Jesus comes to roost, most mornings now
On the mooring post outside the front door of my heart
And He’s tapping, tapping (softly at first)
And it seems as if He wants to come in.
It seems He wants in.

Episode 09: Forest of Days
(Immersive Verse series)
V: When embedded in
Fetters of the night
Silhouettes and shadows
Are confusing your sight
A ceiling of leaves
Is diffusing the light
We're in the forest of days
V: When right information
So seldom gets in:
Which is up, which is down
Gets hard to determine;
And the back and the forth
Is left without meaning:
We’re in the forest of days

Episode 08: Hang on to Him!
(Immersive Verse series)
Verse:
He’s cool water to the thirsty man.
Dry land to the drowning man.
To the fragile baby He’s a gentle hand.
He’s up there, all ears, for every praying woman and man.
He’s the answer to the question. Alpha!
The Beginning and the End. Omega!
Verse:
Up through the cloud He’s top of the mountain!
Ankle-anchored, bouncy rubber bungee
For the falling man calling:
“Help me! Help me, if you can!”
He’s at the center of everything.
He’s the song that I sing.
Technician in a lab
Concocting and constructing
Animation’s inner workings
Making as if out of nothing
Appendages and Hinges
Strung with rubber bandings
No puppeteering rig
But poetry in motion
Book of science in his hand
Manufactured in a word
And in the calm after the bang
Spoke code for spinning world
Embodiment of fluid movement
Stretch of live elastic
No ridged hulk and whirring turbines
Trip light of life fantastic

He keeps a ready scan.
Like with microwaves sweeping.
He thinks in digital dreaming.
Got Real-botic walk and the Rototone talk.
Fixed with polarized eyes.
One of those cellophane guys.
It’s the manikin coming in a lifelike size!
The ma-manikin coming he coming.
This one’s a game board bravado in trump suit,
Like checkered polyester on plaster
With paint-by-number gestures and a token laughter.
This was originally written and recorded by Einstein in 1985.
The lyrics are included in my book "Lit-red Noses, Too Big Shoeses".
I wanted to include it here in a different format.
The message in this verse seems comment on how
inauthentic human persona is attempting to push out
genuine humanity in people. Jimi Hendrix referred to this quality as "plastic"
White-collar conservative flashing down the streets
Pointing their plastic finger at me
They're hoping soon my kind'll drop and die
But I'm, I'm gonna wave my freak flag high, high, wow!
"If 6 Was 9" JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE
The same human characteristic was around in the 80s and
it's still around today. Notice the line:

Br: Sermon on the Mount before getting to His talk
Maybe Jesus posed a question,
Quick question to the crowd:
“Can you hear me at the back?”
“I see you people here in front
All of you sitting over there,
I trust you can see me okay
And can hear me loud and clear.
But I can’t see anyone way in the back!
Can you hear me back there?”
“Raise your hands up if you do,
So I know I’m getting through! Am I getting through to you?”
Vs 1: Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For the kingdom of heaven will be theirs.
On this, those at the back are more apt to catch My gist,
(As they will on most points as I move down My list.)
I.E.: The meek, at the last, will inherit the earth.
The At the Back crowd will see all this stuff endowed!
Vs 2: The full girth of the earth will [by] then be realized…
Topographically mapped; and positioned amidst the stars;
The planets, all that data, compiled and clocked
In high def rolling out then being doled out
(In a live feed): a flowing river blessing the least of these.

Vs: Mid mystery and superstition
Came to life one night a vision
Night sky beaming, reeling in wonder.
Some remote star exploding.
Single tine of light was pointing.
Some beings—as if winged—were singing.
Vs: Now we turn from primal bias.
Follow lead from men of science.
And we question, “What’s gone on in heaven?”
Illogic and ignorance
Here no longer have a place…
As we turn our ears to outer space.
Ch1: The pulse beats out beacon in the nighttime
The pulse beats through deeps of inky sky
The pulse beats down halls of broken dreaming
Echoing the cry of legend light.
Episode 03: Immersive Verses series
LOVE really pops against a backdrop of sin...
It’s a silent deep to still a deafening din.
Or a crystal soaring voice over a sea of white noise.
It’s buried cuisine in a sack of sh#t sandwiches.
Then a spike of perfect along a flat line of averages.

Chorus:
It’s the new adventures of the day-to-day.
The Maker meant it to play this way:
Work your heart, work your heart,
Not bunkered in—be a force at large.
Risk as flint, make a spark
Rewrite the play. Reanimate your clay
For whatever venture awaits you today.

The other day I read a feminist’s sign that said… “I hate being here” Hear me!
Appeared she was walking with others in a pro choice direction Rallying, retaliating against the forced birth precedentreality she’d evidently fallen in.
A situ like an inescapable umbilical cord
Wound round her throat and tight from her very girl start.
Seems to be constricting her rights, suffocating her heart.
