You used to get the calls. The work used to come in on its own. Now it feels like you've gone invisible on Google, and you're not even sure when it happened.

In this episode, Kristina walks through the seven most common reasons service businesses aren't showing up on Google in 2026, what's actually causing each one, and what to do about it. She covers the profile that was set up once and never touched again, a wrong or single primary category, business info that doesn't match across the web, reviews that go unanswered, photos that are years old, the post feature almost no one uses, and a service area set up wrong. Then she narrows it to the three things that move the needle most, and shares how a longtime home service business got its calls back within 90 days by fixing just three of these.

If people used to find you and now the phone has gone quiet, this is the episode that tells you where to look first, and why you should start with one thing, not all seven.

The work used to come in. The inquiries used to show up. Then somewhere along the way it got quiet, and you are not even sure when it happened or why.

In this episode, Kristina walks through what actually changed for service businesses in 2026, and why a quiet phone is almost never the one thing you think it is. She covers the handful of things that tend to drift at the same time, how people search and decide now, a stale Google Business Profile, an aging website, and leads that leak out without any follow-up, and why the fix is finding the one or two things actually costing you calls instead of trying to repair everything at once.

If your phone has slowed down and nothing looks obviously broken, this is the episode that tells you where to look first.

Get ready for an episode you won't want to miss! In this episode, host Kristina Stubblefield sits down again with now-newly-married guest Brittany Murphy to share some incredible insights and practical advice for wedding pros like you.

One of the major highlights of this episode is the importance of effective communication between vendors and clients. Brittany opens up about her frustration with one-sided meetings, where her concerns and preferences often go unheard. This lack of understanding left her disappointed and unsure if they would have her back on her big day.

We all know that unexpected challenges can arise on the wedding day. Brittany shares a personal story of waking up to a stomach bug on her wedding day. However, she shows us how effective communication and adaptability can salvage the situation. In fact, she even planned a surprise first look for her groom with his best friend wearing her grandmother's wedding dress! It's a testament to how vendors can help manage unexpected situations and relieve stress.

Reviews and testimonials are a vital part of the wedding industry, according to Kristina. She believes vendors put their heart and soul into events and deserve recognition. Brittany encourages couples to leave reviews for vendors, as it benefits future couples and clients.

When it comes to business practices, Kristina stresses the importance of implementing effective systems and tools. Relying solely on email can lead to messages getting lost and a skewed sense of time. She recommends using tools like an all-in-one system to manage leads and projects.

This episode of WedPro Business Solutions is jam-packed with valuable insights and personal anecdotes from Brittany. If you are a vendor looking to enhance your client relationships, you won't want to miss out on this wealth of information.

Wedding vendors can connect with engaged couples and promote their services effectively on YouTube, which has billions of active users each month. In this episode, Kristina Stubblefield highlights the importance of utilizing YouTube in marketing efforts, emphasizing the need for a clear purpose when creating a YouTube channel and developing a content strategy that includes consistent posting. To optimize videos for increased reach and website traffic, vendors should make their videos public and use keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner and TubeBuddy. The videos should be engaging and position the vendor as an authority in the industry. Repurposing video content for other platforms, such as a website or social media, is also encouraged. Collaboration with other wedding vendors and engaging with the audience by responding to comments, thanking viewers for their feedback, and encouraging subscriptions, likes, and shares can help expand reach and build credibility within the industry. Monitoring analytics and adjusting content strategy based on audience demographics, watch time, and engagement level is also important. In summary, YouTube is the second largest search engine and should not be left out of a wedding vendor's marketing strategy as engaged couples use this platform to find inspiration, information, research, and discover vendors for their special day.

Are you a wedding professional relying solely on TikTok to get your name out there? In this episode, Kristina Stubblefield has a warning for you: don't put all your eggs in one basket. With the uncertainty surrounding the future of TikTok, it's more important than ever to diversify your social media presence.

Yes, managing multiple platforms can be frustrating, but having a backup plan is crucial in case a platform disappears. Stubblefield recommends having a marketing plan and strategy in place before jumping into any new platform. And while TikTok may be popular now, its algorithm is unpredictable, so it's wise to repurpose content for other platforms to save time.

But social media shouldn't be your only online presence. You need a website to establish your brand and show potential clients what you can offer. And don't forget about email marketing – owning and properly segmenting an email list is a powerful tool. Just make sure to use an email marketing program that makes it easy for recipients to unsubscribe.

And let's not overlook the power of Google. Keeping your Google business profile updated is essential for increasing visibility and becoming an authority in the industry.
But perhaps the biggest opportunity for wedding professionals is on YouTube. Not only is it the second largest search engine, but some have found better results from YouTube shorts than Instagram reels or TikTok. So why not take advantage of this platform and start creating content that will showcase your skills and expertise?
In short, if you want to succeed as a wedding professional, you need to diversify your social media presence and embrace other online tools like email marketing, Google, and YouTube. Don't let the uncertainty of one platform's future put your business at risk – be proactive and establish a strong online presence today.

Kristina Stubblefield shares insightful advice on maximizing the reach of your creative content - if you want to expand beyond one platform, repurpose your content! The algorithms work differently on each platform which means the feeds usually aren’t the same. What does that mean for you? That a post seen on Instagram probably won’t show up on the same person’s Facebook feed. The opportunities to reshape and refresh material can open new avenues for audiences across multiple platforms like TikTok and IG.

Consistency is key for success on digital platforms, and Kristina offers good tips to help you stand out from the crowd. Investing in a phone holder or tripod makes it easier to record video content that can be repurposed across all of your channels – no need to film twice! And if editing isn’t your thing don't worry – there are plenty of great software tools, editors and creators who can help make sure what you post looks perfect without compromising its authenticity.

Ever heard of batching content? It's the perfect way for wedding pros who have an endless supply of experience, tips and information to keep their followers interested - and coming back for more. Batch your photos or videos then schedule them out over time: it's a smart, efficient strategy that helps you make sure no-one misses out on any of your great solutions, services, or products.

Couples planning a wedding have more options than ever before, but it's essential for businesses to make sure they're seen. Studies show that Google dominates search engine usage - if your business isn't in the top of those results, you won't be considered by engaged couples! Don’t miss out on opportunity: ensure an up-to-date presence across all platforms – especially on Google – so potential customers can find you quickly and easily when researching their big day. Because no matter how unique or amazing your services may be -- if nobody sees them, there’s little chance of connecting with new clients who need what you offer.

With a complete and up-to-date Google business profile, you can show customers why they should choose to do business with you instead of competitors. Maximize credibility by regularly adding fresh photos and posts every seven days. For an extra boost, seek reviews on Google from past clients, vendors and others in your industry for added assurance that leads will be impressed when browsing online profiles. Make sure your business stands out from the crowd!

In this episode, Kristina is discussing the importance of consistency. Not with social media or content (although it's very important), but with your client experience. She believes that anyone in any stage of their business can benefit from utilizing processes to create the same experience for their clients. Kristina encourages business owners to provide each client the same amazing experience by having uniform processes and delivery.

From sales process, onboarding process, workflow process to an offboarding process, having these processes mapped out and in place can save time and money with each client. Kristina suggests starting with breaking down the journey of a client into stages, starting with the sales process. This can help ensure that all areas of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. She shares, it doesn't have to be a complicated process, and that you can even start with a piece of and a pen.

There are software and automation tools that can help you manage the process across multiple clients and events. The takeaway from this episode is that having a system and process in place is key to making sure clients have a uniform experience with your business. This episode is about how to pull more information out of yourself to share with the world, your community, and your ideal clients. To do this, it is important to take a step back and look at the solutions you provide for your clients. It is also important to think about what have you been asked from potential clients in the last week, or what have you had conversations about in the past few months. Writing down these things will help you to come up with content to share. Don’t forget about your experiences and knowledge when jotting down ideas for content. Additionally, it is important to be consistent with the content you share. Doing this will help to build the know, like and trust factor with potential clients. Remember, it may take time to develop and execute this process, but focusing and allowing yourself the space to establish habits will be beneficial in the long run.

Kristina encourages business owners to remember consistency is key and will produce results. It may not happen over night but implementing a process will help you develop good habits for delivering content long term.

Kristina Stubblefield, host of the WedPro Business Solutions podcast, has been discussing with professionals how to tackle this difficult task. To help wedding professionals, Kristina suggests using an all-in-one business software to track inquiries, leads and booked events. With the right software, wedding professionals can have a better pulse on their business and tackle the juggling act with ease.

This conversation discusses the difficulty of managing the different stages of the customer relationship process. Listen in as I talk about how to protect your business from cyber threats with security solutions.

Let’s be honest, the thought of taking extra time of using complex passwords is not appealing. If you’re like most, you set a password and may think, “I’ll change it later.” The next thing you know, years have passed, and you now use that same password for multiple accounts. This may not be one of the sexiest topics in business, but it is one of the most important.

"Security should be at the top of the list because everything has gone online, and it may be an extra step, but I am here to tell you your business depends on it."

In this episode, I discuss:
1. What is the best way to make sure your business information is secure?
2. What are the benefits of using two-factor authentication?
3. Why should use a VPN when using Wi-Fi in public places?

Chapter Summaries:

[00:00:02]
How many of you use the same password across different platforms, different websites? In the grand scheme of business, security should be at the top of your list. Your business depends on it.

[00:02:19]
In public places, you should have a VPN turned on your laptop and devices that you use.

[00:09:18]
Some small businesses that get hacked or their data gets breached, don't survive. To have a more secure password is so worth it. Pay for a subscription for software that is encrypted to store that information.

If you're feeling frustrated with your current appointment scheduling process and are looking for a more efficient way to schedule appointments or venue tours, then this episode is for you!

In this episode, you will learn:
1. How online appointment software work
2. How it helps wedding professionals
3. Other tips to help make appointment scheduling easier

"With scheduling appointments, follow up meetings, tours - online, it is a win-win for pros and their potential clients."I've been working with wedding professionals to help them get set up with online appointment software. It's important that it syncs with Google Calendar and/or iCal and allows you to customize it based on your specific needs. This software is useful for venues, wedding planners and vendors. On average, they are saving 3 to 5 hours a week on scheduling appointments. I love being able to help people utilize technology to save time and money. With this software, wedding professionals can program it to work for them, almost like an assistant.

By nurturing and following up with your leads, you will increase conversions and book more events. Most of the focus is on generating leads and little to no attention on follow up or staying in contact with prospective clients. In this episode, you will learn:

  1. How you can nurture leads to convert more into booked events.
  2. The importance of following up and staying in contact with prospects.
  3. Why to consider using a system and having a process in place for leads.

Chapter Summaries:
[00:00:02] - Kristina Stubblefield is the host of WedPro Business Solutions podcast. She wants to talk about the importance of nurturing and following up with leads.

[00:02:24] - There are many ways to increase your leads in the wedding industry, but let's talk about the importance of following up on the leads you get. If you don't have a process to follow, you might miss out on the opportunity to convert leads into sales or booked events.

[00:05:57] - When a potential client comes in, you should always respond to them within a certain amount of time. If they message you on Facebook, if they DM you in Instagram or message you in TikTok, don't reply with a message that says, contact me by email. Take time to reply using the platform they messaged in. Don't overcomplicate it.

[00:09:39] - Don't just follow up once with leads, set a reminder and continue to follow up and stay in contact. There is software you can use to track leads and conversions. But if you don't want to take the step right now to implement software, one way is to set a reminder in Google Calendar or a paper calendar. If you take the time to nurture leads, you will see results.

[00:14:12] - Kristina is passionate about the importance of following up on your leads. So much of the focus is on generating leads and not in the funnel process which produces higher conversion rates. She invites you to join her free Facebook Group, where she shares additional tips and resources.

We are back for part 3 of my energetic and information packed interview with bride-to-be and marketing business owner, Brittany Murphy, to discuss her less than desirable experience of searching for wedding vendors. The information that came to light in our chat was so jam packed with eye-opening information vital to all wedding businesses that we had to split it up into 3 episodes! Listen in to hear her frustrations and insights to ensure you aren’t making the same mistakes in your business.

In part 3, Brittany and I direct our attention to the sales process… down to the smallest of details that can make it feel like a luxury experience your clients will talk about for years to come. I think this sound clip from Brittany summarizes this episode well! "The sales process starts before you are ever, ever thought of the minute we get engaged, the minute our hands go to the online world to find resources, so if you are not there if you're not prioritizing it, you are missing out on the beginning of the sales cycle." - Quote from Brittany - WOW! Doesn’t that say a lot? All the honest… raw… unfiltered information discussed in this episode is not rocket science and I can assure you if you embrace the power of the pause during your slow season to implement just a couple of these solutions we offer, your sales will flourish!

We are back for part 2 of my dynamic interview with bride-to-be and marketing business owner, Brittany Murphy, to discuss her less than desirable experience of searching for wedding vendors. Our chat was so jam packed with information vital to all wedding businesses that we had to split it up into 3 episodes! Listen in to hear her frustrations and insights to ensure you aren’t making the same mistakes in your business.

In part 2, Brittany and I dive deep into COMMUNICATION, setting expectations and the systems and processes you can easily put in place. I can pretty much guarantee you a direct advantage over your competition just by listening to and implementing a couple of the things discussed in this episode! I think my biggest take-away from this segment of our interview was that “each wedding client should be more than a transaction… it’s a working relationship and it is your job as the wedding vendor to make it personal!

Today's episode was such a gold mine of information and contained so many eye-opening moments for wedding vendors that I am splitting it up in 3 parts! I sat down with bride-to-be Brittany Murphy, who also happens to be a marketing business owner, to discuss her less than desirable experience of searching for wedding vendors. Listen in to hear her frustrations and insights to ensure you aren’t making the same mistakes in your business.

In part 1, Brittany and I discuss how a wedding vendor search is a reactive process due to getting engaged, having a set of problems that need to be resolved and looking for solutions to those problems through online searches… and today’s savvy searchers aren’t just looking at reviews, photos, videos, your website information, and social media presence, they are looking at the whole picture! These savvy searchers also have limited time to do their research. Are you making their experience easy? This first experience they have of you and your online presence needs to give them the know, like and trust factor or they will get bored, give up and move on! I hope you’ll tune in to this “POWERBALL” of an episode! It will change your thinking about the way you are… or aren’t marketing your business!

I've been working with wedding professionals to help them get set up with online appointment software.

If you don't know where your domain, website, and email are located, you could lose access to them forever. In this episode you will learn:
1. The importance of knowing where your domain is registered
2. Making sure you have login information for your domain, hosting and email account
2. Why you need an SSL certificate for your website

"I cannot tell you the number of times that someone has been referred to me or someone has found me because their website is not working. Whether their domain did not auto renew, they're not receiving emails, or someone hacked into their website. However, they don't know any login details."

I want to make sure you have access to your domain, website, and email login information. I can't tell you how many times I've been contacted by a business owner in a panic because they can't access their website or email. It's really important to have this information on hand so that you can quickly resolve any issues that come up. Chapter Summaries:
[00:00:01] - Kristina has been involved with websites, domains and e-mail servers for more than 20 years. Kristina believes it's important for business owners to know how to log in to manage their domain, website and emails accounts.

[00:02:56] - There are a few different parts to having a website. You have to pay for hosting (your space out there on the internet). Most websites that people come out with now have SSL certificates built in. It is critical that not only your website functions correctly as well as your domain, but also your email.

[00:07:34] - People don't realize their options when it comes to their domain names. They should know what company has their domain and if they have login information for that, their domain for their business should be in their name. If not, they have an uphill battle to figure out what to do.

[00:09:29] - In the show notes where you're catching this video, or on my website. You can get access to WHOIS SC. If you don't know whose name your domain is or where the domain is, I've got a solution for you. In the middle, there's three sections with contact information. I had so many people ask me about systems and processes. So I want to just take a few minutes on this episode to really explain it. Most people don't realize I have an IT and marketing background. And I say to people that I specialize in systems and processes as well as online visibility, content creation, they kind of look a little puzzled. So I found a really good explanation that I like, and that is a system is the core element that you want to have or implement in your business. It's something that helps your business run. The processes are the things you do in order to make this system work most efficiently.

In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. How systems and processes can help streamline your workflow and save you time and money
2. How to document your own business processes in order to analyze and improve them
3. How automating certain business processes can free up time and energy

  1. The importance of target market research in order to simplify marketing efforts

  3. The value of utilizing technology and social media in marketing

It's so easy to overcomplicate marketing today, but if we're going to be successful, we need to find ways to simplify it. One of the very first fundamentals of marketing is target audience. And I can tell you from working with many wedding professionals, when I have even a brief conversation about target audience, most of the time they just say "engaged people." But not everybody that's engaged is going to be an ideal client for you.

Chapter Summaries:
[00:00:01] - Tim Fitzpatrick of Rialto is a marketing marketing coach and consultant. It's easy to overcomplicate marketing today. So if we want to be successful, we need to find ways to simplify it.

[00:00:54] - Tim explains how to narrow your target audience and focus on your ideal clients. He suggests asking yourself three questions to find out who is your ideal client. Psychographics is when We Get Into People's heads and Find Out Who they are and what they Are looking for, it Gives us an idea of who These people are. So that If I Just Handed That Piece Of Paper To somebody, they Would Go, oh, I know somebody You Should talk To.

[00:06:49] - In the wedding industry. People are overwhelmed, and there's no better time to funnel down and hone in on your exact ideal. Client life and business are so much better when you know exactly who you intend to work with.

[00:09:17] - Once you understand who you want to work with, you can create a list of potential clients. Then you can focus on how to communicate what you do. Less is More when it comes to marketing, people talk too much about themselves in their marketing messages. People don't need to know about all the details. They just want to go to their wedding and enjoy it. People are leery about technology and automations.

[00:21:47] - Kristina advises business owners to have their own onboarding process. She also advises them to listen to their clients, the wording that they're looking for, to describe their products or services to use for other people to buy them.

Are you a wedding professional looking for more marketing opportunities? In this episode, I'm sharing strategies on how to market yourself before, during, and after a wedding show!
You will learn:
1. What opportunities are there for marketing and promotion leading up to, during, and after a wedding show?
2. What are some tips for making the most of a wedding show, including maximizing content opportunities?
3. How can you stay top of mind with potential clients after a wedding show, even if they're not ready to book your services yet?

"The key is follow up. Staying top of mind."

I was just at a wedding show and I realized there are so many opportunities for marketing leading up to the show and after. I encourage anyone participating in a wedding show to take advantage of the opportunities to market their business before and after the show. You can use social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to promote that you're going to be at a show and also to post about your experience at the show. It's also important to collect email addresses so you can send a follow up email blast after the show with information about your business. And finally, don't forget to stay top of mind by posting regularly on social media and sending out quarterly or monthly newsletters.

[00:01:04] - If you are participating in a wedding show, you need to promote that you're going to be at the upcoming show. You could send an email blast to your database with the details of the show and a video message.

[00:03:50] - On the show day, wedding pros should get set up as quickly as possible. They should use the opportunity to take pictures, videos, maybe selfies and videos of their booth. They can also do videos of themselves to use on their social media into the future. If they work with other vendors, they should take a selfie with them and tag them.

[00:05:30] - Kristina shares some tips on how to promote your business at a wedding show. Before the show, put up a story on social media platforms and tag the location of the event. Send a follow-up email to the list of the attendees. After you send an email, make sure you have plenty of content that you can use for a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months down the road to build a content library. Follow up is key for a successful marketing strategy. Follow-up is a good way to build relationships and trust.

"I firmly believe you should have a process in place to follow for better consistency."

The best part is that it doesn't cost you anything to.

In this episode, you will learn the following:
