Fathers are detrimental to children being well balanced. Too many times I run across adults who clearly needed that balance that the divine masculine brings. There are certain lessons and tools that only a father can teach and provide, and it hurts my heart that a lot of women of my community rob their children of this because they themselves don't realize the importance of piece to the puzzle that was absent in their lives.
Marriage is something that most men desire but to find a wife isn't always the easiest task with woman saying things like " I'm not doing that, those are wife duties" and feeling like they don't have to show a man any qualities that would make him want to even consider her as a potential wife. How does a man navigate in this new world of women bringing their looks to the "table" and not knowing their worth and what value they add to his life?
Too many times in our community the elders drop the ball and don't pick it back up. When a child has been failed by all of the elders around them their outcome is directly affected. the old saying "It takes a village..." is more than just a saying it is an action. But somehow in our community we have lost that... well, we most definitely need to get back to it to ensure a brighter future for our children.
It is really disheartening to hear that only 24 percent of my sistars get married... Especially when I hear so many men, other than then those I've interviewed have made it quite clear they want to find a woman ultimately a wife. So why are so many of us unmarried? Are we going to make up some wild, colorful excuse blaming EVERYTHING and EVERYONE else? Or are we going to take accountability and responsibility for the part we've played to land ourselves in our current situation/position/circumstance?
Communication is key in any relationship. Learning how to properly communicate with one another is one of the steps in the right direction to healing our community. There seems to be a disconnect between the melanated man and woman. Were only teaching our children how to ineffectively communicate like they see us do. Isn't it time to stop operating in an energy of insanity... doing the same things and expecting a different result. It's time for a change.
I hear allot of our men have negative things to say about us, or have just plain given up on us... well this brotha right here was a total surprise!
This is the second interview of many. As women we run around oblivious to our men and their feelings, or act like they aren't even allowed to experience them. We don't understand our men and I just want to offer a little peak into the minds of our men, in hopes of promoting healthy conversations.
I am starting this new segment; the title is self-explanatory. In our community we don't understand or listen to our men enough. So, I am offering them this platform to express their feelings, thoughts, and opinions freely. Thank you to "JB" and "Mr. Vinni Divine" I appreciated your time and presence! New episodes/interviews every Tuesday
Submission and shutting up and listening every now and then isn't a bad thing nor is it impossible. But for some reason the women of my community seem to think it is. Some find it even disrespectful at the very mention. This learned behavior is a detriment that needs to be unlearned. Let's discuss it!
You will be unable to move forward in life without forgiving yourself for things you've allowed yourself to experience. Forgiveness is not for the other person, it's for your peace. Choose you and your peace!
Alot of the issues with our men that we complain about is our fault. We've created a monster that we're unwilling to deal with at this point. Discussing the affects a toxic mother has on her son in childhood in into adulthood.
Self love is most important in your journey to being your authentic amazing self. When you love yourself you show others how to live you, and allow yourself to be loved.
Addressing how love is absent from our community for ourselves and each other. We need to first have love for self to be able to have love for others. Love conquers all.
In this episode I review a film called The Vanishing Black Family made in 1986 and discuss the correlation with the mindset then with the current mindset. While discussing how a child's environment plays a big factor on their future success.
Why is there a disconnect between the younger and the older generation in our community? Why such a lack of respect from both sides. Have we lived so poorly in front of them that there never was any respect to begin with? Let's delve into these and other questions as we dissect our foundation while trying to create a better future.
What goes on in this house... is detrimental to our future so let's address it. Examining some defining events from the past that led up to the current state of our people. Healing starts with self and then radiates outwards to others!
