The U.S. LatinXchange Alumni Speaker Series brings together a diverse group of talented and accomplished Latinx(e) alumni, grantees, and applicants to U.S. exchange programs. We hope our speaker series inspires other Latinx(e) individuals to learn about and apply to different international exchange opportunities that benefit undergraduate, post-graduate, and graduate students. Latinx exchange applicants, grantees, and alumni will build connections, leverage awards, and discuss overcoming barriers to studying abroad.
"Choosing the Exchange Program That’s Right for Me" was our first in-person panel of our Alumni Panel Series that was hosted at @miamidadecollege. Our panelists discussed some of the international exchange opportunities available and how they identified the program that was right for them. We hope this discussion helps you identify the various international programs that might be right for you.

Study abroad programs provide you a competitive edge when finding a job abroad, since you’ve already demonstrated an ability to navigate new regions and cultures. But where do you begin to find a job abroad? We will speak to a panel of Latinxers living abroad that have a wealth of experience living abroad for work - and we will ask them how they landed these coveted positions! Join the conversations so you can ask your questions and learn more about how to find the right job for you abroad.

We will discuss how being Latinx(e) abroad may differ from other people’s experiences, challenges that encompass going abroad/being abroad, intersectional identities, how to overcome challenges, ways of finding community, and more!
