I'm a SAHM of 3 kids, ages 4 and under. I'm also a Pastor's wife and a bluegrass gospel singer/songwriter for our family group, The McBride Family. Please join me for Biblical encouragement from God's Word, life lessons from the only One who knows it all, and occasional modest fashion tips. I'm just one beggar telling another where I found bread.
Welcome back! And if you’re new here, welcome! On this episode, I share about my “Word for the Year” and how God helped me choose it.
“HOME”
My my, how crucially important our dwelling place is and how much of an impact it makes on our family. I have definitely learned that lesson over the years. In fact, I’ve learned it a few times! (Thank God that He keeps working on us!!)
I pray you enjoy this episode and that it blesses and helps you in some way!

Welcome back! I’m so thankful to the Lord that He worked it out for me to do 2 podcast episodes this month! I pray that I can continue to bring you content each month that will bless and encourage and motivate you! This week, I am very excited to share with you what I’ve been working on for several months now. I reached out to several moms of all ages and stages of life and asked them these 2 questions…
“What do you feel you have done well in motherhood?”
and
“What is your biggest regret in motherhood?”
In this episode, I share their responses with you! I pray you are as blessed and helped by these as I was! It was such a good reminder of the common mistakes that moms make and helped me get back to being more intentional with this blessed calling God has given me. Motherhood is so crucial and I pray we take it seriously and work intentionally to do it as pleasing unto the Lord!
I also mentioned at the end of the episode that I’ve been considering starting a blog to have a space to share some different types of content with y’all! I ask you all to please take a few minutes to reach out to me and give me your input on this! You can reach me through the following -

Until next time, I love you all! God bless!
Happy New Year, everyone! Welcome back to the podcast! I am so excited to back at it this year and starting off the year with a new episode! As I share in the episode, one of my goals for 2024 is to share at least one new episode each month (maybe more), so I’m very excited to be getting off to a good start with this first month! This episode is a little different from what I normally do, but I wanted to start off this year by sharing with you some life updates, my reflection of 2023, as well as my vision for 2024. I also share about the amazing tool that I use to create my vision each year, the Thriving in Motherhood planner by Jessica Jackson. As mentioned in the episode, this is NOT sponsored, I just simply love this planner and I love to share it! I also love her podcast so make sure you check her out on the Thriving in Motherhood podcast. With all that being said, I pray you all enjoy and are blessed in some way by this podcast episode. If you would like to reach out to me for any reason whatsoever, please email me at fromonebeggartoanother@gmail.com. God bless you all and again, Happy New Year!
Welcome back!
We have finally reached the end of our Proverbs 31 Woman series! This week we are covering the last two verses of the famous “virtuous woman passage”. I’m a little sad to see this series end because I have enjoyed it so so much! But I’m also very excited to see what the Lord has in store next! I have a couple ideas and I’m praying the Lord has His will and way in it all!
Until then, I pray you enjoy this week’s episode!
Reminder, I will no longer be on Instagram. If you would like to receive email notifications when new podcast episodes launch, please send me your name to fromonebeggartoanother@gmail.com. Until next time, God bless you all!
“Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.” Proverbs 31:29 KJV
If many daughters have done virtuously, HOW CAN YOU EXCELL THEM ALL?

Also, I will no longer be on Instagram (explanation may come in a later podcast episode), so if you would like to receive email notifications when new episodes are available, please send an email request to fromonebeggartoanother@gmail.com.

Welcome back to From One Beggar To Another! It’s been awhile! I unexpectedly (and without announcement) took the summer off. Things got really busy for our family and I felt it best to take some time off and focus on my top priorities.
With that being said, I have felt a strong pull to get back at it here lately and I’m so excited to start recording again! This week, we continue with our Proverbs 31 series with verse 27. I pray it’s a blessing to you!

Welcome back to the podcast and to this Proverbs 31 Study! We’re about halfway through this Proverbs 31 Woman deep dive and I have truly enjoyed this so much!
This week, we cover verse 20. Again, trying to look deeper into the meaning and application than just “surface level”. I hope you enjoy and walk away encouraged and inspired to reach out to someone “poor” or “needy” today! For more information on the exact definition of those words, listen to this week’s episode!
I also did a little update at the end about our current life stage! Stick around for that and hear how you can help me! Please reach out and let me know your thoughts!

Welcome back!
I’m so thankful to be getting back into gear with the weekly podcast episodes. I truly thank the Lord for helping me overcome the attempted snares of the devil and continue obeying God’s direction for myself and for this podcast journey.
This week, we continue our Proverbs 31 Woman study with verse 17. I apologize for getting a little lengthy with this episode, I’m still working on containing myself to a 20-30 minute window! If you can’t finish this episode all in one sitting, I totally understand and hope you can split it up as you need to!
As with all the verses in this study so far, I’ve really enjoyed learning from the Lord as He revealed “grass level” and “root level” applications. I pray you are blessed as well. I encourage you to pray and ask God to reveal how YOU can apply this and every verse in this study to yourself and your current life stage!

I left my phone out of town and wasn’t able to get it back for two weeks and therefore, couldn’t do any work on the podcast! I’m so sorry and hope you’ll jump back in with me as we get back in the swing of things!

It’s also the 5th episode in our Proverbs 31 Woman study and I’m truly enjoying this deep dive with y’all! In this week’s episode, we cover Proverbs 31:15 and it’s one of my favorite studies so far! I’ve learned so much and I pray you do also! Grab a pen to take notes if you want, or grab some coffee for a little “me time”, or just grab your laundry out of the dryer and listen as you fold!

We’re moving right along in our Proverbs 31 Woman study and I pray you are enjoyed it as much as I am! This week, we are covering verse 14 - “She is like a merchants’ ships, she bringeth her food from afar.”
Join us in discussing how this applies to us today and some practical steps in how to live it out. We also discuss making changes in our lives only when God directs us to and not basing our changes off anyone else. This is so important!
Also, it’s the first episode in the month of October which is designated as “Pastor Appreciation Month”. Take some time this month to do something special for your Pastor, on top of the praying that I hope you’re already doing for him. Trust me, he needs it!

Episode 4 is the last episode of August, our first month of the podcast! I thank you all for joining me throughout this first month and I pray you are enjoying and growing with me!
In this episode, we talk about “firstfruits.” In the Old Testament, God’s people were required to bring their firstfruits to the house of God and to the priests. In today’s world, we are not required to sacrifice our firstfruits to the temple or to the priests, but in today’s episode, we discuss some ways that we can honor God with our firstfruits in the current age we live in. I hope you enjoy this episode and are inspired to honor God with your firstfruits in your way!
Please join us next week as we start our deep study into Proverbs 31:10-31. I am so excited about diving into this study with you and hopefully growing together as women, wives, mamas, and daughters of God! In Episode 3 of the From One Beggar to Another podcast, we talk about preparing for the future. We all know by reading our Bibles that hard times are coming and we need to be prepared, but in what way? Many people will tell you to prepare by storing up all the food and water and money that you can, but in today’s episode, I’m here to tell you the preparation you should really be doing. I pray you enjoy and God speaks to you through this podcast episode.
