The Feminine View is titled to honor my mother, who was a meaningful role model in my life. My Mother was a journalist in the 1970's, and her column in our small town newspaper was called The Feminine View. This podcast will help you navigate this journey called life, as we share struggles and success stories, insights into better relationships, along with health and wellness issues. No matter what, good or bad, we call it what it is so you can learn the truth about love, life, and aging well. Welcome to The Feminine View! I am so glad you are here!
Have you ever walked into the ladies' room, only to realize it's not the ladies' room? Unbeknownst to Jill .... this was a unisex bathroom. Whatever you want to call it ... unisex, shared, co-ed ... it's a hard NO for Jill! Listen in to the humor of being startled and confused about the new bathrooms at the Kansas City International Airport.
Have you ever said something then immediately wished you could rewind the moment? It happened to my new husband and I was quite offended! Listen in as Jill shares the little mishap, the conversations that followed, and how they ended the night in utter laughter at the ridiculousness of the situation.
It can happen to anyone, right?!
Have you ever made a huge mistake ... totally dropped the ball on something ... let someone down ... and felt horrible about it? It happened to me! It was bad. Really, really bad. I totally flubbed it up. Now what do I do? I have a choice. I can wallow in my pity party for weeks, or I can get out of the funk fast. Listen in as I share what strategy I've learned to get back in the game fast. This will help you to do the same! Let's go!
Recently, I was introduced to the concept of manifesting my future self. My business coach helped me to visualize myself at age 90. What does she look like? How does she act? On what beach does she live? Listen in as I describe this concept, how it is helping me, and how it can help you too. And you might giggle along the way!
Being a bride is hard work! Our plan was quite simple, and a little white chapel was involved. Was Elvis going to marry us? Will we ride in a pink Cadillac? Will we change after we say, "I Do"? Listen in as I share the story about the anxiety of our wedding day.
In this episode of The Feminine View, Jill sits down with Burton Kelso, a well-known technology expert, keynote speaker at technology conferences and all around cool guy. Frankly, my 2022 sucked in so many ways! But, guess what? I am still here! I am still standing. I am standing tall, and I am still the strong woman you know and love.
Listen in as I share some of the crap I had to deal with in 2022, and what I did to overcome it. Seriously, I found myself spiraling downward into a depression, and I had to get myself out of that, stat! P.S. In this episode, there are a few times where I have a cuss word. My apologies if this offends you. I just get really passionate and it happens.
And, by the way, on a positive note ... 2022 was the year I got engaged to the man of my dreams! So there is a rainbow!

When I met Dr. Anne Morgan, I was immediately captivated by her. Dr. Anne's approach to medicine is wildly different than our current healthcare system. Our first appointment lasted over two hours, and we finished our talk via zoom on a Sunday.
Our conversation in this episode goes deep into how we can diagnose what truly ails you, and how to be healthy in an unhealthy world. Dr. Anne says, "Normal is not good enough". Even though your bloodwork levels are within normal range, we can still do better. We cover topics of aging, menopause, hormones and cancer risk, probiotics, NR, and more!
Side note: Dr. Anne added NR to my supplements. This is designed to regenerate your molecules, thus regenerating your cells and help stop the aging process. This has been so effective for me personally! I can walk up and down the stairs easier, and I now bounce out of my big cozy chair. My knees no longer hurt like they once did. It has been a game changer for me!
This is one of the most epic and compelling conversations I've ever had on my show. This episode is not only for women of all age, but also for men. Men will learn something too!
Time stamps:
26:45 Dr. Anne's non-negotiable supplements everyone needs.
38:15 What to do in your 20's to be healthy in your 60's and beyond.
44:00 Stress is a beast and how to combat it.
How to reach Dr. Anne Morgan: Her website is www.ThriveOnceMore.com. You can schedule an appointment here.
Check out her new group Empowered Feminine Collective, featuring live workshops to help women become better in life. The first workshop is Friday, September 9th. Other workshops will be announced soon.

We are all facing some serious disagreements, whether it's political, spiritual, or personal. This week I saw some nasty arguments on social media and I believe we can learn how to agree to disagree, and still be friends.
In this episode you will learn six tips on how to keep a level head while disagreeing with your friends, family and co-workers on heated issues. It's cool to express your opinions. I encourage you to do so in a respectful manner instead of tearing down your friendships.
Thank you so much for listening! Please, leave me a 5 Star review so more great people can find this podcast. I appreciate you very much! ~Jill~

I'm an overthinker. No doubt. Always have been. But why? In the context of the quote, "Don't think, just do" I reach deep into my memories of my past to decipher what happened that made me overthink everything and struggle to make a fast decision. After recalling some childhood events, I realized what happened, and how to break out of the vicious cycle. Listen in as I share my struggle and how you, too, can overcome the mentality of overthinking. "Don't think. Just do." Thank you for listening! I appreciate you very much! ~Jill~
