Our Power Declaration for today comes from ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭(CSB‬‬): “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift —  not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.”

Our Power Declaration for today comes from 2 Corinthians 12:9 which says "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.' Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me." Our Power Declaration for today comes from Romans 8:31-39. Read the whole thing on the Bible app. My favorite verses from this chunky chunk are Verses 35 and 39 which states respectively “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?” and “No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This reminds me that God is surely for me despite how I feel or what IT looks like.

The words you think and the words you say determine where your feet go and what action you take. What have you been thinking about yourself? What have you been speaking over yourself? What words and phrases circle around in the pond of your mind?

Power Declarations are similar to affirmations but Declarations are rooted in the Word and the Character of God, these words are not rooted in the self.

Your life can be changed with bible-based words and phrases of truth.

Our Power Declaration for today comes from Psalm 118:17 and it says “ I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” When life rises to try to take me out, I rely on God’s Word so if He says that I will live, then I will live.
