I grew up in Canada where nutella is not really a thing, and then all of a sudden I arrived in europe and everyone was eating nutella. It was a cultural institution and the first time that I ate nutella, I just spread it on some toast and I was with a very attractive woman who had slept over in my hotel room. And the next morning she said, what are you doing? You're misusing this cultural institution of nutella. She said it has to go with butter. I was very offended. I broke up with her then and there, lost her phone number, the end.

So for us, at Beams we decided early on that we want to invest almost all our resources, both time and money, into building our platform and also picking out specific community leaders. And instead of buying advertising, we wanted to give them support of helping us build a community around voice notes. Um, and I think it was the right call to make that we said, Let's give back to our hero community leaders instead of, you know, like booking advertising at this stage because also beams is a social network. So we didn't want to buy users on these anonymous advertising platforms. So So first, this made sense to build organic growth. But I I you know, I understand why some other businesses are relying on advertising to buy customers and build a funnel. But I think for us it was a no brainer to say Let's invested into the community and in product

While once we asked how could we possibly prevail over catastrophe now, we assert, how could catastrophe possibly prevail over us? We will not march back to what was but move to what shall be a country that is bruised but whole, benevolent, but bold, fierce and free. We will not be turned around or interrupted by intimidation because we know our inaction and inertia will be the inheritance of the next generation. Our blenders become their burdens.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my story with this committee and for bringing light to the crisis of abuse and amateur sports. Your commitment to ensuring the safety of gymnasts and all amateur athletes is appreciated, important and necessary to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. A message needs to be sent. If you allow a predator to harm Children, the consequences will be swift and severe enough is enough. I will close with one final thought. The scars of this horrific abuse continue to live with all of us as the lone competitor in the recent Tokyo Games, who is a survivor of this horror. I can ensure you that the impacts of this man's abuse are not ever over or forgotten.

My name is Sue. I'm a nurse working here in Madison Wisconsin at University Hospital. Um I've been working here for 38 years. I've been in the E. D. The last 20 years. I've never seen anything like this packed full of people that are coming in more and more each day with Covid. The majority of these people are not vaccinated. I find it frustrating. I get angry. I wonder why they did this, why they're doing this to me. Why they're doing this to all the people that need to be away from sick people in the waiting room. I'm frustrated because I can't get them out of the freaking waiting room. I can't get the sick people out of the waiting room to get them away from these people with Covid who didn't have the thought to even try and get vaccinated to prevent from spreading this. It's hard we have nurses leaving this profession. They're burnt out. They're overworked. This is my 2nd 16 hour shift this week. I'm finally leading. Came in here at two o'clock in the morning and it's now seven at night? Oh yeah I got my 20 minute break. It gets hard 61 years old and I'm doing this. What can you do to try to make this better get vaccinated

Hey kids! Today I went to my local bank in the city. I hate going to the bank. The line was absolutely crazy today hundreds of people outside waiting to get in. I stood in line for 30 minutes and people stared at me. Classic doppelganger moment, if you ask me. They thought I'm peter griffin, but I'm clearly clearly not yet. Everybody thinks I am in idiots anyhow. Where was I? Ah yes. So I was waiting in line outside the bank for more than 30 minutes, no movement. Sun was shining and oh boy, was I melting water? Plus I need to pee so badly, I could hardly hold it. Mm hmm. Then suddenly a tall, beautiful blonde woman passed me on the sidewalk. Man, she was hot. Can you imagine tom thought of flowers every day I'm up at five, get bagels and coffee.
