Bachpan main tum logon ne woh Snow White wali story suni hogi na, jisme ek witch apne mirror se roz poochti hai - Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of all?
Us humans are often just like that witch, looking in the mirror, just to find out flaws in our body. Kaash meri nose thodi lambi hoti, kaash mai thodi tan hoti ya kaah mere paas muscles hote!
And upar se yeh social media ka pressure bro! Itne saare good looking, perfect body wale influencers! Uff! Social media and other media images promote the ideal body as fit, thin or muscular and hum sab ko aisa banne ke liye majboor karte hain! So what can teenagers do?
So today we seek answers from guess who? An insta influencer who is - as she says in her bio - no longer at war with her body! And guess what she is getting in return? Sweaty hugs!
As we grow up we have to start making choices and taking decisions. Bachpan main to mummy papa sab kar dete hain - haircut, clothes, school, even deciding our subjects for class 11, but as we grow up, we have to start making our own choices, especially for topics where parents may not even be helpful - like whether to approach your crush or not, what dress would look good on you or whether to have that one beer, because, well, all your friends are doing so.
So how do you decide? In today’s episode TeenBook founder Vithika Yadav shares with us the hack to make good choices and informed decisions that can help you navigate those tricky situations that one often finds themselves in during teenage.
Why does she play with the boys? Why is he so go girly? Why is she such a tomboy? Why? Why? Why?
Have you come across these questions? Must have, they are quite a part of our social culture - where boys 'must' do one set of things and girls a different set. But growing up can get hard in such a world, especially during teenage when our bodies are developing as per our biological sex. What if you are developing breasts, but you feel like a boy? What if you have a penis, but you feel like a girl? What if you feel don't feel like either? This is gender dysphoria and the starting point for exploring one's gender identity.
Aaj ke podcast main we will explain everything to you in a super easy way and speak to Neysara Rai, the founder of transgenderindia.com, an interview everyone must hear to understand gender issues and especially for anyone who is looking to transition.

We speak to three Desi teens to find out how and where they first heard about sex. What was the source of their gyaan? How did they feel - excited, confused or just grossed out? And what would have been a better way to get their first bits of knowledge on growing up, puberty, sex and more!
