In my opinion, lil Baby is a top 10 most popular rapper and I could have been put on top five based on some of the Raw numbers I see. He's due to release a new album in July, and I think I just might go over. But I think it would be the biggest album of the year so far. The answer is that I do think it is possible, but you look at my turn. You know is the highest selling album of 2020. It's still inside the top 20 on Billboard. Outsold albums from Drake, Ariana Grande A Taylor Swift. The Weekend Juice WRLD to be the highest selling album, 2020. It's just an absolutely humongous album that's just not moving any time soon. So this new album is coming out. It's guaranteed to do at least 200 K. That's what my turn sold first week and only done streaming numbers so the new billboard rule changes will not Affect Lil baby s. He's guaranteed to do 200 K Future selling 230 k kind of shows me that there was artistic sort of want final physicals as much on actually benefiting from the growth of streaming, and so different babies numbers will go up. And when you look at the features on my turn, they were pretty good. They added a lot to the album. They were all good features, but nothing will really like superstar level of pulling people towards album. But is this new album? I think it's going to have a drink on there? At least it could potentially have Nicki Minaj, can you? Where's people that work with? Recently and then there's been a rumour. Just work about Andrew Feed 1000 as well. So these kind of big, huge names I think we're gonna be on his next album are just going to really push it. And I do think they could outsell Kendrick Lamar to be the biggest hip hop album of the year so far.

If you combined. Kendrick, Lamar Drake and J. Cole's discography what are the top 10 albums. Luckily, I've got an answer for you. Well, My answer… Number 10 4 Your Eyes only. J. Cole., great album Love it so much that it's probably the second best “views” at Number nine Classic, which might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe it was a classic It’s ageing. Beautifully.. Number eight. Sorry, Mr Morale. & The Big Steppers Great album. It's just came out so it could move up in the future. Maybe not enjoying it as much as other Kendrick albums, but right now it's number eight. Number seven. If you're reading this, it's too late. Classic. No skips. Brilliant album or mixtape number 6 DAMN Just Falls below the top five has got great replay value even after five years the hits, on it are just iconic. Number five. Take care, Drakes. Potentially Drake's best album. It's a toss up, but it's so good. Even after 10 years I still play it constantly 2014 Forrest Hills Drive number four, Cole's best album. To me, it's got his best songs. It's very cohesive. I still play it so so much. Number three. Nothing was the same. Deserves to be in the top three rivals any Cole or Kendrick album, in my opinion, which might be an unpopular opinion. But I think this album is just so so good and continues to age. Amazingly number 2 Too pimp a Butterfly And number one. Good kid Mad City. So you know these two can be switched it depends, what you think. But in my opinion, good Kid Mad City say is Kendricks best it's It's got the right mix, of just everything that makes a brilliant hip hop album, and I still play so so much to this day.

So if Eminem Kanye, West, Drake, Travis. Scott drop on the same day in 2022 Who would sell the most records. I mean, it's quite interesting question because they all got quite similar fan base sizes So I'm just gonna start off really quickly. And I think for fourth place, it would be a really tight, tight struggle between Kanye and M and M Kanye struck lightning in a bottle with DONDA? But it's really, well, only five days of tracking, but I do feel like his next album is gonna be a ZB. Big Donna was just this huge event broke all kind of records. I don't know, can you can have that game and under to Eminem, always historically sells well Music to be murdered by was in a bit of a downward trend compared to the kamikaze. But I'm going well market album. He's still well capable of pushing 300 k. I feel like both these guys would push 290 to 310k. Probably the features will edge out in either direction. Second place, pretty comfortably. I feel like J. Cole would do it he is absolutely huge people. Interesting. Biko was sold. 300. Cable 12 Track album. Nearly outsells Kendricks Whole album After five year delay, I feel like a well marketed album like the Fall of is going to be a big album. 20 tracks or so he could definitely push. Like nearly 350. K may be high on that good up top. Obviously, Travis Scott feel he's just still one of the biggest artist in the world. Despite what's happened in the last year, Utopia, has been teased for so long. It's one of the most anticipated albums This decade. I think it's going to sell probably 400 K, maybe even more.

So what are some hip hop songs that you just wish were bigger hits in general, you know, there's so much hip hop that drops every year, so many singles and big songs Its just impossible for every single one of them to blow up, you know, to the sort of superstar level that some of these songs get to like. Life is good and the box, but to me there's some songs that just absolutely deserved it more than others. And I'm going to list off Five them today that I just wish were absolutely bigger hits. Starting off, I'm going to go from the HNDRXX album for future I'm Going to Incredible, which never charted. It's only got 60 Million streams on Spotify, but for me, that should have been a summer smash. It's feel good. It's radio friendly. The beat's great for the life of me. I don't understand why this song wasn’t bigger. It should have been like one of the biggest songs of HNDRXX now going for Kelly Price Migos, which done, okay on streaming, but to me this is a top 10 trap song of all time, which might be a unpopular opinion, but the beats crazy Vibe Is crazy Travis Scott feature was amazing. Maybe just came at the wrong time for it to Blow up. There was so many big songs on culture. I'm going recent for the next one company, Pt.2. Don Toliver think this song should have been the smash out of Life Of a Don because that never had a single smash on it, which was crazy. The Metro production was beautiful. Don sounds amazing as always To me that should be pushed as a single. It was really, really such an amazing track. Finally, I'm going to go for weekend from Mac Miller, which was of the good Am Album It had all the things to make a huge song catch a good hook. I just don't know why the song don't blow up. It's crazy.

so the most influential rappers of the past decade. So you could give me, like, a two hour time slot to do this, and I could still be talking. But 90s isn't much. So I'm going to go over this quick now on to out of state future and young Thug, which you know. I don't think anyone could disagree with that. If you do, i would really love to hear your argument against that. I just feel like Future and Thug have pushed the sound of hip hop to what is now in the mainstream. Which is trap music. It's dark. It's moody Its everything they were doing in the early 2010s before it was really popular. I know Jeezy ti I Three Six were pushing trap music a lot longer than future Young for work, better art. So I came up the past decade. You know, Baby Gunna Roddy Rich Juice world all site, and then it's huge. Influence is all taken from their style. It's so evident that they have just touched hip hop in a way that others haven't. Nicki Minaj was my other pick because I really feel like when she first person has seen. Females were not competing males in terms of numbers and hip hop, but she really came on. She was competing with Drake Wayne. She was out Rapping them. She was outselling some of the biggest males of the time. She really, really pushed female hip hop to the mainstream. And then she birthed a whole generation of females that felt inspired by that loved Her still do. And now you look at Hip hop and so much more diverse females everywhere, which is a great thing to see on. I really feel like Nikki did push that harder than anyone, and it's really a product of her success, and she deserves a lot of credit for that. So please give Nicki Minaj Her flowers, while you?

so I've probably seen this question to a million times by now, but every time I see it, I feel like I have to have the need to answer it. And that question is who is the best do and hip hop and for the purpose of making this a little harder. I'm just going to leave out casting clips, you know, and go over to Seoul accent frequently call up. And so I've narrowed it down to two jobs that I just absolutely love. I could never get enough of them, and obviously I start off. We have to go with future and Drake. You can't ask this question and not mention these two, arguably the biggest jewel to ever come out ahead pop commercially. They've got so many hats, they're still going. They've got fantastic call, have album wait for you just released went Number one. It's one of the songs of the year, and I honestly feel they're going to drop what time to be alive to in the future. So, yeah, they've got to be my favourite, probably Joe and hip hop. Next up we've got with Young Fog and Travis Scott now, but that's when I could've been with fucking future funk and Gunnar, Travis and Cuervo. You know, there's just so many great Joe's and trap, but I feel like fucking Travis Just have that factor. When the club it's like almost high quality. It's almost always on iconic song. It's songs like Skyfall on Mama, C, R eight years ago, almost a decade strong and his hips and hopefully they can could continue to collaborate in the Future of Fog beats his case. The Honourable mentions, of course, to like Holding You, Eminem and Roy's Future in the Weekend. Little Baby and Gonna Win and Nikki Schoolboy Q Knees. So Kendrick drops his new album tonight. Finally, after five years, we know the name. We know the cover are we know that it's going to be a good album. It's absolutely no debate that came just going to be a great album tonight. And it got me thinking that if this is a really great album, well, Kendrick have the best four album run ever and mainstream hip hop. It's for that question. You've got to look at his competitors and, in my opinion, old the competition. Ejaz is outcast from it aliens to Speaker box lot below. It's a very solid for album run, hard to be but doable. Kanye West has best before Album Run to Me is late, Reg, to My Beautiful Doctors to Fantasy and again I'm Taking Good Kid mindset. A teapot, etcetera, over eight away. It's late Ridge, the greats thegame Jay Z, Nas, Eminem. All really solid discography ease, but they always have a little bit in there. That sort of throws them off. They don't have four consecutively great projects, and then in modern times there's no one. Really. I mean, you've got Drake would take your views who, which is a very good run, in my opinion, on what people might know agree. But I'm happening. That's a great run. But no matter what way I look, a few like Kendrick wins. He's got a commercial success, a good kind, man city, and damn, he's got the critical success on every one of those albums. And he's got the long job. Everyone still bumping those albums. Good kid months. That is the longest charging up ever. So there really is no competition from the and F. Kendrick drops a really good album tonight. I think he does have the best four album run and help.

So Kendrick Lamar drops his new album in five days, which is absolutely unbelievable to think about, considering it's been five years since we even got any new Kendrick music, although he did just drop the heart part five last night as the sort of lead single I Suppose it's going to be loosie. But it's nearly got 10 million views on YouTube in the first that day, so it's quickly became one of the biggest songs of the year. It's so clear that the hype is there for Kendrick, the demand is there for Kendrick, and that brings the question over from Twitter that I've been seeing a lot of. How much is Kendrick gonna sell? First week? Now, back in 2017, he sold 600 K with Damn, which Is unbelievable. But obviously times have changed they had bundles, so we can't really use that as a benchmark. What we should be Using as a benchmark is Drake selling 600 K. We have certified Loverboy First Week as the biggest hip hop album of the decade so far, and the question as well. Kendrick outsell Drake, and I'm gonna cautiously say no, because it's not gonna be in anywhere need is accessible. Seven. Then it's not gonna have those big radio singles. Probably we don't know that yet. So it's just a guess. However, the fact that could be a double album is very big, and this is like a true double album that has, like, fairy songs. Then there's every chance Kendrick can sell well past Rick. I mean, the demands there is gonna sell a lot regardless. So for my final production, like my locked in production, I'm going to go 475 K 1st week, maybe 500 depending on how accessible the album sounds, So I guess we'll find out in five days.
