Yes, it is hard to strike the balance of keeping our egos in check at all times. We need to set it at a medium range: not too high that we overpraise ourselves and not too low that we allow others to undermine our importance.
Do you know that with each challenge we overcome, our self-confidence grows because our self-trust also increases in the process? Our faith not only in ourselves but also in the power of God is important in overcoming these adversities/ challenges.
There are lots of ways to build unstoppable momentum in our businesses and this has almost always been a key to its success once you’re up and going. Its growth is like riding a rocket, holding onto it, and throwing in as much fuel as possible.
What does it mean to have intentional living? It is taking actions and making decisions that are important to us and true to who we are. It helps us understand the importance and purpose of our bigger vision and directs our mind and actions to help us achieve it.
The reason why people conform to pressures around them rests on two important desires that are, the desire to have an accurate perception of reality and the desire to be accepted by other people. People usually believe both can lead to rewarding outcomes.
Do you know that putting discipline into practice allows us to train our minds so that they can be calmed when their wandering thoughts erupt? Therefore, diligence is really a form of devotion, and devotion is a form of understanding.
To communicate well means to understand and be understood that is why knowing the right methods is an essential life skill we need to learn. It is more than just exchanging information but also understanding the emotions and intentions behind the message.
The law of sowing and reaping not only applies to our farmer friends but is very useful in explaining God’s process. A bountiful harvest is a result of hard work and patient waiting because nothing good grows overnight.
Ideally, we should be painfully aware of our own shortcomings and sins, if we wish to judge righteously. Lack of self-awareness is like a “path without a destination” where there is simply no focus and no knowledge to start with.
Not everyone is aware that words have the ability to help, to heal, hinder, hurt, harm, humiliate, and to humble. The right words make all the difference so we have to be more intentional in using them whether spoken, or written.
Not everyone is aware that while success relies on innovation and creativity, it also takes many mistakes to succeed. If you let people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish and it sets the difference between success and failure.
The law of polarity basically says that everything in the universe has an opposite. The principle is that everything has two “poles”: good and evil, love and hate, attraction and disconnection, and its influence can transform our life.
According to Dr. John C. Maxwell, “your attitude colors every aspect of your life” because it is a primary component in determining success. Keep in mind that great attitudes are infectious and can positively impact the behaviors of others.
Do you know that effective change can only be successful if there is understanding and commitment to work effectively during the transition process? It all starts from within thus, self-reflection helps in addressing certain beliefs to become aware of them and thence, take action.
We wake up every day knowing we have to act on our goals with a sense of urgency but knowing as well that it can take years to attain the desired results. We have to commit but be realistic too in the timeline we set for ourselves and our business to grow.
It is always tempting to give up in challenging situations and escape but then that would also mean giving up on ourselves, our dreams, or even our principles. Determination and perseverance are keys to overcome and conquer the doubts we have in the process.
We can influence our destiny by the choices we make and each person has the right to make decisions and have choices about how they live their life. This is a power given to us by God that we should use not only for our good but also for the good of other people who may be affected by our life choice.
Jesus shares that parents give good gifts to their children so if mere humans can do this, how much more can our loving heavenly Father give to us, right? Pray for His will to be done in your life and in the world and you will be praying with the right motives.
Zacchaeus climbing up a Sycamore tree to see Jesus has a lot of meaningful interpretations when reflecting on the kind of faith we have. In that, sometimes it’s best not to stay in a crowd and rather do something out of the ordinary to exhibit our faith in what Jesus can do and change in our lives.
In every kind of business, passion should be innate because it can’t be learned or acquired but should always be present if we are to aim for success. Instead of going through the motions in life, passion gets us to do things necessary to grow and improve.
Our inner circle is a crucial component of our success because they raise the bar to push us to be better in all ways. Choose the right people and choose relationships that matter because the growth of our inner circle equates to our personal development as well.
Making excuses is a bad habit because the fact of the matter is, that it is up to us to decide to take responsibility and grow or to shift blame and stagnate. It stinks because every excuse you make takes you further away from reaching your full potential really and then you end up missing opportunities that you might never get back.
Do you know that habits can make or break our chances of achieving our goals and for making success in life? Some say bad habits are easy while good habits are hard but if we come to think of it, both are just repetitive actions and behaviors we want to repeat which have their own physical, emotional, or psychological consequences
We all need to be careful of how we live and walk wisely in all areas of life because it is a fact that we cannot turn the clock back once it passes. Truth be told that we all have lost opportunities along the way in life for various reasons but still, we can turn things around to make up for any lost or wasted time in the past.
Strong testimonies and powerful stories allow us to help others in their search for truth, thus it should be shared. Authentic and personal stories of faith are a gift from God and a great tool in building a solid foundation of proper beliefs and motivations which helps in our personal growth.
Dr. Maxwell has some words of insight: “Your attitude colors every aspect of your life.” It all makes a difference in how we face challenges, relationships, and even how we approach life. A different mindset is all it takes to separate the successful from the unsuccessful people.
In business, one needs to be perceptive, future-oriented, open-minded, proactive, working off the front-foot, and making and taking decisions based on evidence and calculated intuitions. It is important because it leads us to be able to create a clear set of plans, goals and new ideas.
What is a blessing? A blessing is described in Scripture as anything God gives that makes us completely satisfied with Him and that brings us closer to Him. On the other hand, we also have to remember that one can only truly be blessed when they are IN CHRIST JESUS.
Words have the ability to help, to heal, hinder, hurt, harm, humiliate, and humble. Just think of the power and energy we wield if we only become more intentional with our words to send a greater impact not only on ourselves but on other people as well.
They say people who know their purpose in life know who they are, what they are, and WHY they are, and to do that you must decide what's truly right and know it in your heart and soul. This makes you committed and passionate about your goals and helps you find your true passion in life
The Bible teaches us that prayer without action is just noise and so faith being a verb rather than a noun requires action. Following the Lord’s path means we trust that He knows best and He knows the best way to handle every situation so we get the best possible outcome from our actions.
A sense of doing right is about recognizing that the needs of the situation are more important than your own. It isn’t always easy and sometimes it takes a lot of courage but it will always make you feel good and proud in the end.
Knowing how to play by the rules of the game and the laws of life is essential to living and hitting the goals we have in life. There are many strategies to doing it but the same can apply to almost every aspect of our life like work and business.
In planning for a goal, consider first what you want to achieve, and then commit to it. We must be motivated to write it all down to make them feel tangible and cross off each one as we work through them.
A lot says “wealth attracts many friends” but it could also be the other way around because the law of attraction is also at work. Wealthy people choose their friends differently and there’s much to be gained by being in the presence of like-minded friends.
There will always be challenges in growing our businesses and recognizing the common pitfalls associated with growth is essential if our business is to continue to grow and prosper. Growth signals success and new opportunities so embrace even the mess.
An environment of trust is built on the foundations of credibility, respect, and fairness, which together can form great mentoring relationships. Same with trusting God, it's important that we have complete faith and trust in God's presence that He will assist us and take care of us always.
Do you know that a deep understanding is a precious commodity and its intensity is priceless? It is important that we can function at our best especially when we are efficient, wasting as little time and energy as possible.
n today’s age, there lies a critical role in a shared vision and family climate in developing the next generations of leaders in the family. The Bible has a lot to say about adequate planning for future generations of leaders as Jesus has taught during his lifetime on earth.
Each thought, statement, and action we make has consequences for ourselves and for others. All things are connected, and our actions spread, impacting others just like ripples on a pond therefore, we ought to remember that our actions are irreversible.
Have you heard about the powerful, proven principles found in the Bible that can help you attain great success in life? Daniel and Jacob Lee have a lot to teach here about professional growth in a business and in life, doing it in more than one Christian way.
When a person has good work ethics, he/she knows the importance of work and manifests it through a determination to work hard and show up every day. It is also critical to have a good work ethic to have a positive working experience, especially with co-workers.
People who are practical tend to act according to reason and logic and in effect, make them more pliable. Why is it beneficial? Because people who are practical often have a high sense of self-esteem and are confident they can handle situations or solve problems in the best possible way
Comparing ourselves to others can be self-destructive. It breeds feelings of envy, low self-confidence, and depression. We should instead water our own grass and develop a peace about life and a sincere enjoyment about what we have today, just be grateful
You can either achieve your destination or drive further away from it depending on the choices you make behind the wheel. Therefore, it helps to set goals to trigger new behaviours, to direct what you are doing, and to sustain that momentum in life.
When we think big, we don't daydream or imagine what the future might be like, but we take active control over our own lives. Visualizing the path ahead is fundamental for setting our course, but taking small steps in that direction, validating our ideas, and refining them further is equally critical.
Sacrifice is painful and exhausting, but it is the result of a conscious decision. Its value makes us who we are. Having endured suffering can make us more resilient and better able to deal with difficulties.
Having goals enables us to move from where we are now to where we want to be. Each of us has our own roadmaps and God gives us the vision so we can take action on the goal steps we need to accomplish to get there.
God intended to plant dreams in our hearts and it is up to us to pursue those dreams and be an inspiration to others. If we decide to go and pursue our dreams, we can give hope to others who want to do the same.
Everyone has a story to tell. Sharing the stories that shaped our life doesn’t make us weak, it only makes us human. This is where we can connect at a deeper level, beyond roles and goals because life is a beautiful masterpiece bound together by our experiences.
Fear is the word we use to describe our emotional reaction to something that seems dangerous. When we get paralyzed by fear, we cannot think creatively and we just can’t take action so much so that it cripples even one’s business.
Discipline is one of the most important personality traits in life. Whether on a personal level or in business, it brings stability and structure and helps evade suffering from major consequences in the long run.
A need can always be met, but greed will never be satisfied. As evil as it is, it destroys not only trust but also a lot of business foundations along the way thus, it is very dangerous for anyone who runs a business with greed.
There’s a time of the year where everybody is just thankful for a lot of things. Thanksgiving and gratitude are powerful indeed because it is the spontaneous response to the realization of being blessed.
Great is the relationship of debt when it comes to managing finances and businesses. There is a lot to consider when borrowing money either for personal or business purchases and everyone should learn to be good stewards of what God gives.
The most successful businesses are those that basically are well aware of the law of sowing and reaping. The value that is put out there will always come back ten-folds as the Lord created people to help other people in need.
The wealth gap between the rich and the poor has been growing over the years and its reason can be traced back to the Bible. The rules of money have been laid out and it is up to everyone to follow it and prosper.
In search of business improvements, one should always take into account his/her personal development. When you have the desire for knowledge, growth is never far behind.
The most valuable resource that we as humans can have is not money, but TIME. Being more disciplined with managing time is the key to reaping success in the future.
