Spencer Cunningham, Colton Kirkham. The two Mid-Buchanan wrestlers finished third in their respective weight class at the 2024 state meet.
Elias Chapin - Lafayette. He finished third at the 2024 Missouri State wrestling championships in the 157-pound weight class.
Former Missouri Western women's basketball player and Mound City native Kameron Freemyer spent this past season as an intern for player engagement with the Kansas City Chiefs. She talks about the highs of working for the team that won another Super Bowl and also the emotions that came with the events at Wednesday's victory parade.
Greg Carbin and Jay White are both former Missouri Western football players. Carbin is in his fifth year as an assistant strength coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. White is in his ninth year with the Chiefs as an assistant equipment manager. Both enjoyed the elation that came with winning another Super Bowl, but also experienced the heartbreak in the tragedy that unfolded at the end of Wednesday's parade.
