“The problem with Internet Gurus! ‘The Bro Polight Situation’”, expounds on episode 1 of this podcast, because a large portion of the people that follow the Polights of the world classify themselves as being spiritual. Without taking a stance on his situation, I can say that he never presented any real qualifications for what he was teaching besides possessing an amazing ability to articulate his beliefs. The lack of requiring your “teachers” to present a track record of doing this work in a community framework, leads one in a possible situation where people are victimized or at the very least disappointed.
