Are you weary? Is life dragging you down? You are not alone. This is common to most of us. Pastor Todd shares with us today about what to do about that and how God wants to resurrect endurance in us for such times as these.
Throughout our lives we have many relationships, family, friends, colleagues, etc. Sometimes these do not go smoothly and there is disconnection and alienation. Pastor Todd talks today about how God wants to resurrect our relationships.
Pastor Todd continues his series on Resurrection. Remember that this is not the resurrection of Jesus as we might think. Holy Spirit gave him this them which actually means resurrecting parts of ourselves and our walk with Jesus that may have died over time.
Today Pastor Todd brings us a fresh perspective on repentance. It may not be what we think.
God didn't create humans and put them in the garden without emotions and Satan came along and gave emotions to them as part of his secret plan to harm us. God created our emotions in the creation process. However, these God-Given emotions were not given to us to be our masters. God gave them to us to be our guide.
Perhaps we need to have our emotions resurrected to God's plan and intention for them. Let's listen in as Pastor Todd explains.
Question for the day. How many of us want to be on fire for the Lord? How many want that "fire in the belly", ablaze in His glory? Pastor Todd asks us today if we really want that and how we can be resurrected with this fire.
Pastor Todd is in a series about resurrection. Resurrecting things that have died in us. Today he discusses offense. How do we protect our hearts from becoming offended. When we are offended we have become victims and that is not what God has called us to be. Let's listen in on this message about how God can resurrect us from being victims of offense.
Pastor Todd is in a series about resurrection. Resurrecting things that have died in us. Today he asks the question, "have we lost the ability to celebrate?" Dancing isn't often welcome in churches but it is Biblical and it represents the idea of celebration. Take a listen and see if you may have not celebrated in awhile.
Today Pastor Todd begins 2024 with the theme he received from Holy Spirit. He introduces the idea of resurrection. It's not the usual meaning, as in the resurrection of Jesus. Instead he is referring to the resurrection of things that have died in us. It could be relationships, inspiration, excitement, discernment, etc. Listen as he explains this idea.
for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of strongholds. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Pastor Todd teaches us today a new way to look at unity and therefore why gossip and slander is so contrary to the people of God.
It is through unity of our calling that we find agreement.
What causes disunity and division? Gossip and Slander.
Pastor Todd talks with us today about physical death of the body. How should Christians look at this and how should we react?
Join us for an eye-opening exploration into what heaven truly means according to the Bible. In today's talk, we'll dispel common misconceptions and incorrect images about heaven that have permeated our collective understanding. Far from a never-ending worship service or a life among the clouds with a harp, the Biblical view of heaven offers a profoundly different perspective. If you've never studied or sought to understand heaven, or if you've held onto an image of heaven that isn't in line with the scriptures, this discussion promises to change your life. By exploring passages like Matthew chapter 25 and others, we'll provide a fresh and Biblically accurate insight into what heaven will be like and what we'll be doing there. This engaging talk won't focus on eschatology or the rapture but will guide you to a view of heaven that may be entirely new to you. Come and discover what heaven is really about!
In this segment, we will focus on the topic of gender fluidity, exploring the question: Can you change your gender? The discussion aims to uncover the truth about this subject from both a Biblical perspective and broader viewpoints. Drawing from Genesis and Psalms, the speaker will examine the creation of male and female, the purpose of their existence, and how this understanding relates to contemporary issues such as LGBTQA+. In a respectful and compassionate atmosphere, we will seek to understand how to address this matter as believers without condemnation or hate speech. Join us for this thoughtful exploration of gender and faith, starting from the foundation of the Bible but extending our understanding beyond it.
Today Pastor Todd discusses the individual encounters of various people with Jesus after His resurrection, and the transformative impact these encounters had. He references 1 Corinthians 15 as the main scripture for his sermon and then focuses on Jesus' appearance to two travelers on the road to Emmaus as described in Luke 24. Pastor Todd emphasizes that the travelers' recognition of Jesus was a profound experience that ignited their faith and compelled them to share the news of Jesus' resurrection with the apostles.
He explores how some of the closest disciples doubted the news of Jesus' resurrection at first, even when the news came directly from Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and the mother of James. Despite the skepticism, Peter chose to investigate the news himself. Upon finding the empty tomb, Peter marvels at the event, showing a significant shift in his belief.
Pastor Todd shows us how encounters with the resurrected Savior can deeply impact and transform our faith and bring others to a new faith in Jesus.
Pastor Todd teaches us today about the significance of the blood of Jesus, based on the Christian faith. He dives deep into multiple Biblical scriptures and narratives, starting from the book of Genesis, where blood first appears in the context of the story of Cain and Abel.
Pastor Todd also addresses the Christian narrative around blood offering, specifically in the case of Abel, and explore why God chose Abel's offering over Cain's.
He also shows us the symbolic representation of blood as both life and a voice that cries out to God, using the narratives from the times of Noah, the aftermath of the flood, and the liberation of the Hebrews from Egypt.
All of these things set the stage for understanding the significance of Jesus' blood in our Christian faith.
Pastor Rick Evans highlights Jesus' words to the people on the hillside the day that Jesus preached His sermon from the Mount. He tells them that they are the Salt and light of the world. Likely not everyone grasped this. However, there are people who when they hear the Word of the Lord and press in in worship feel the truth and life of Spirit of God. There is something that affects them. Let's listen in to learn more.
Pastor Todd Mozingo shares with us a "Positive Warning", a reminder, an attempt to refocus us on what is important. "Sometimes we, as believers, worship God for how He worships us." Listen in to learn what this means.
Pastor Todd Mozingo asks for our deep focus in this message as it may go in directions that you may not expect. What do we believe about the words we speak? Words can be spoken in the physical world but have spiritual meaning and impact. We learn this by reading Jesus' words.
Pastor Pete Camacho shares with us how amazing the Word of God it. There are two main reasons why we as a people will be either lost and misguided or be successful and driven. 1) We don't read the Word of God or 2) We read the Word of God without understanding. Listen in as Pastor Pete leads us in understanding.
Pastor Massey Campos asks us "Are all of our weaknesses in the flesh caused by demons?" How does the spirit realm impact us and when is it simply our flesh?
Who are the demons? Where do they come from? What are their capabilities?
How do they affect our lives today and what are we supposed to do about them?
Pastor Todd Mozingo shares from the Word of God everything we need to know.
Typically, Christians know far more about demons and focus far more on demons than we do about Angels. Why is that?
Angels are mentioned in 33 of the 66 books of the Bible and are mentioned over 283 times. Should we really ignore them?
Pastor Todd Mozingo teaches us today the truth about angels and how important they are to God and to us.
Pastor Massey Campos teaches us today about how to understand the Bible, how to apply it and how to love it as the living Word of the Living God.
The Word of God is perfect for life and joy of the heart.
Pastor Glen Harm starts out with this, "What comes out of your mouth today forms your tomorrow." This is a rephrase of James 3:6 "And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself."
Do we understand the power of our words? Do our words about ourselves line up with what God says about us?
Pastor Glen explores this idea that we speak words over ourselves that can come true whether true or false, whether positive or negative. What we speak today becomes tomorrow's reality.
Let's listen in.

We are often quick to dismiss the Law entirely as we are free from it but does it have a purpose in our lives still?
Pastor Massey Campos teaches us today about The Everlasting Love of God.
God is first and foremost a Father. The Love of God as Father for us is never ending, eternal.
Today Pastor Massey Campos asks us How Do I Believe?

What do you believe about Eternal Security?
Pastor Todd tells us that he is beginning a new series called "What Do You Believe?". This series will last the entire year. He examines what it means to actually believe in the Kingdom of God. All things are possible for anyone who believes. Do we have some unbelief hanging out in the corners of our hearts and minds? If we believe we will see the glory of God.
Today Pastor Massey directs our attention to Ephesians 1:15-22 that has some insanely cool perspectives in drawing near to God in our daily lives. We are strong in His strength and authority.
Pastor Todd explains the value and power of fasting. Fasting is commonly viewed as a means to get stuff from God. However, Pastor Todd leads us through scripture to discover that our fasting is a way to give back to others and to God. Let's listen to this important teaching to see what the Holy Spirit has to reveal to us.
Pastor Todd also shares with us his vision for 2023. "What do we believe?". Do we really believe what we say we believe?
We are excited that Pastor Todd has released his complete set of his Vindication Series. God Vindication, Jesus Vindication and Holy Spirit Vindication. These books will help you become intimately acquainted with all members of the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To go even deeper in applying this in our lives, he has also released workbooks to accompany these books. We all know that hearing a message and reading a message can be very helpful but our memories can fade with time. But if we work on practical applications of the concepts of the books found in these workbooks we can cement these into our long-term memory banks and be ready to share them with others. The books and workbooks are available separately or as a set on Amazon.com

Pastor Massey reviews the year 2022 in sermons and messages by Pastor Todd. He reminds us that 2022 was the year of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Todd preached on the fruit of the Holy Spirit with a unique insight that these are not our fruit but His fruit operating in us. Then he preached on the gifts of the Spirit clearing up many misunderstandings about those gifts with special teachings on the gift of tongues. The Pastor Todd reminds us that the Holy Spirit was sent into the world to show the truth. He challenges us all to speak the truth in Love as Jesus' did. Jesus really did love everyone, but He spoke challenging words to those who were misguided. Always in love. Jesus never compromised with the world. Neither should we. Listen in to this year in review.
Today Pastor Todd is finishing up a series called "So can You". This has been a series drawn from lives of some relatively ordinary people in the Old Testament who God called to carry out His purposes. Each is unique in their own circumstances but we can all find a bit of ourselves in these people. Pastor Todd says "The Old Testament is a physical representation of New Testament spiritual realities." So these people God has called represent spiritual realities that we can learn from so that our lives may also represent the spiritual realities of God's Kingdom.
Today's message focuses on people of God mentioned in Hebrews 11 who walked out their calling in faith as those who understood that his calling was a physical representation of the work of the Messiah who was coming. Moses didn't know that it would be 1400 years later. However, the book of Hebrews tells us that he did not identify himself with the Egyptians but "considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasuries of Eqypt, he was looking to the reward." Heb 11:26. Jesus, Himself, tells us in John 5:46 that Moses wrote about Him. Similarly, the other men and women of God mentioned in the faith "hall of fame" saw their calling as precursors to the coming of God's Kingdom through Jesus.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals how the men and women of faith in the Old Testament walked out their calling looking to a future Kingdom. In learning this we can find that we can also do in faith what they did.

Pastor Todd begins a new series on the Holy Spirit in scripture. How He moves. What He does. Examples of Him that we can learn from. Some Holy Spirit events are very obvious like Pentecost. He pours Himself out on the disciples and births the church. Other times, particularly in the Old Testament His activities are less obvious to us. However, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were very active in the Old Testament if we know what to look for.
We learn from Pastor Todd as he relates the story of a battle of the Kings of Israel against Moab when they dug ditches and filled them with water that appeared to the army of Moab as "red as blood", was actually the Holy Spirit. The water of the Holy Spirit always points to the blood of Jesus Christ. The enemies of God see the blood as a sign that the Kingdom of God is defeated. However, as the enemy rushes in believing that they have won, they find themselves defeated by the blood.
This is one of the great examples of the Holy Spirit activity in the Old Testament and in the physical history of the people of God. Remember that the Old Testament is a physical representation of New Testament spiritual realities.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals the Holy Spirit's activity that we rarely notice.

Seeing in the spiritual realm will help us understand what is happening in the physical realm. Pastor Todd builds on a message that he preached the week before. You can listen to that message as Episode 10 of these podcast messages. It is titled, "Hidden in Plain Sight". That message is about seeing things with "Spiritual eyes". He continues from that message today to expand on that.
Pastor Todd shows us many events in history which if viewed solely from a physical perspective may not seem to mean anything. However, if we view these events and times with spiritual eyes something else becomes more visible, more obvious. On "the hill of evil counsel", Absalom, David's son, conspired to kill his father and take the throne. On this same hill is where the High Priest Caiaphas conspired with Judas to capture Jesus. Pastor Todd reveals to us today what is on this hill today.
Did you know that the same location where Joshua crossed over the Jordan with the people is the same location where the prophet Elisha cast his cloak to part the water to walk across and this is the same place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
He continues revealing times and places that mean little viewed only with physical eyes but mean so much more when viewed with Spiritual eyes. God is Spirit. He is always doing spiritual things that extend into the physical world. We can see these things with the Holy Spirit in us to open our eyes.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd helps us open our spiritual eyes.

We do not stand entirely on our own. Even if we are pretty independent and self-motivated to build things like a business, like a family, like a ministry or church, we are not building the original foundation. We build on the foundations of the legacy of others who came before us. It could be a family business that we inherit or a ministry. It could be as simple as our parents, grandparents, or even generations before that who walked with God. We walk in their legacy. Our children will likewise walk in our legacy. They will build on what they learned from us, whether it is character, or values or worldview or faith. None of us starts from ground zero.
Pastor Todd takes us on a journey to review the legacies of those who have gone before us in faith, in obedience, in great adventures as they follow God's call. In some cases, like Abraham, he did not experience the fullness of God's call as it was for him and for his descendants. Yet Abraham's initial decision to follow and obey God, left a legacy for the whole world for all eternity. Abraham's legacy was the foundation that lead to Jesus and redemption of all those who choose God by faith.
What is our legacy? What is the legacy of our ancestors by blood or by faith that we walk in today? What legacy are we leaving to our children and grandchildren and future generations? What is it about our life today that will be carried forward as a legacy to future generations?
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd shares with us the importance of the legacy of our lives.

Is it really true that we need to keep asking God about things in our lives over and over until He grants it?
Pastor Todd takes us into the scriptures to reveal the power of prayer and whether it is about repetition or something else?
When will God Answer? Do we need to be Persistent?
If He doesn't answer in a time frame that we feel that we need, are we lacking in belief if we keep on praying?
If God answers our prayer today but we don't see it today does that mean that we have to ask again?
Are we praying in faith or in hope? Are they the same thing? Pastor Todd says that they aren't. Hope often substitutes for faith. Hope says I hope that its coming. Faith says I know its coming.
This can be difficult to grasp.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd teaches us about the reality of prayer.

If we look through history we find that most of the great moves of history do not happen because of groups. Most of them happen because of one person. God is looking for One person or many One persons. He doesn't start with groups. He starts with one person at a time.
Pastor Todd takes us through the scriptures to show us a few of the One Persons that God called, God worked through, and God began a significant movement that changed the world. It doesn't matter what that one person thinks of themselves. God calls. God empowers. God guarantees results.
God often picks people who may not be looking for Him. You may not know that God is going to pick you to go for Him, to start something new. Other times He is looking for people who want more of Him. He is looking for people who are praying. He is looking for people who would prophecy to a nation. He is looking for someone who would lead others even when no one is following. He is looking for One who would choose God's truth over political correctness. God is looking for One who knows that His Kingdom is here, now, on Earth and not just some future idea. He is looking for people who believe that they can heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons.
God May be calling you as one person to make a difference.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals the truth about the character of Jesus, our obedience, and about speaking the truth in love.

This is the final message in this series "Love Never Lies".
Pastor Todd tells us, "In our society today truth is getting lost in a sea of confusion, feelings and enablement. Increasingly, people no longer care about truth. They care about their feelings and their truth. They care about not being offended or making sure that we don't offend them than they care about the truth. Christians, we will be forced to either tell the truth or agree with lies. We will be told to say that is a man when it is a woman. We will be told to say that an unborn baby is not human. We will be told that God is ok with same sex marriage. We will be told that churches should not be involved in government. We will be told that it's ok for our children to be entertained by drag queens."
We are being pressured by our society to lie. But LOVE NEVER LIES. Jesus told the truth no matter what others said or believed. The truth is the truth. It is not subjective or fluid.
When Jesus said, "Truly I say to you…" He was speaking in truth. He wanted people to understand that this is not a matter of opinion. It is truth. Absolute. Unequivocal. Truth. He is the creator. He is the Lord of all whom all people will bow to willingly or not.
Pastor Todd leads us through the 30 statements that Jesus made in the book of Matthew that are absolute, foundational truth that we can base our lives on. Further, he exposes the lies of the world. We must declare and live our lives on this foundation. "Jesus said, 'I am the Way, the Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him." This is not a matter of opinion. This is a matter of undebatable truth. Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All authority has been given to Him.
We can know the truth and the truth will set us free. Lies will not. Truth matters.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals the truth about the character of Jesus, our obedience, and about speaking the truth in love.

This is a rather unusual title for a message from Pastor Todd. "Learning from Crazy People". He is teaching today on finding your calling from God.
Sometimes people are called by God to do crazy things. You have to be just a little bit crazy to be open to these things. You may have to endure skepticism and even ridicule from others to follow through on what God has called you to.
From the scriptures Pastor Todd shares the wisdom and insights of people who follow God's call to do crazy things.
Then He asks us if God has ever asked us to do anything that we might have thought was a bit crazy. His call may make no sense at all. How did we respond? How did it work out? God may call us to lead a zoo. He picks us because He knows that we are capable in Him to do anything.
God has a plan that may not make sense and He may call you to participate in that plan. We may not need to understand when we are called. We may need to be a little crazy, look a little crazy, and even be criticized for looking crazy.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals the character of God and the nature of our calling in His plans from scripture.

Pastor Massey speaks to us today that there is more to be seen and experienced and overcome in the Kingdom of God. More than success, more than fleshly desires, more than our pain, more than our trials, much more. God has prepared us for great and supernatural things because we have His Spirit.
The Bible tells us that we are more than conquerors because we trust in Jesus. In Jesus the old has passed away and we are new creatures with a new seed and a new power because we have the favor of God.
The Bible also tells us that we will have trials in this life but He promises to deliver us from those trials. We are to count it all joy when these things happen because we can trust Him. We are not destroyed. We are victorious because of His promises.
We are not fighters who can win or lose. We are conquerors because God has fought our battles and made us conquerors 100% of the time.
Let's listen in as Pastor Massey shares this very timely message with us.

Pastor Todd is in a series called "Love Never Lies". He teaches us, "We're talking about the fact that the world would look at Christianity and say, Hey, you guys should be nice and kind and loving and tolerant because that was what Jesus would do."
Pastor Todd takes us back into the scripture to find out what would Jesus actually do. "What we're trying to do is keep Christianity from being passive and tolerant. Because passivity and tolerance is not what Christ is about."
This may be a bumpy ride for some. He is going to talk about the blessings of the Lord but perhaps that doesn't mean exactly what we think it means.
He is teaching us today from the story of Jesus confronting the money changers in the temple. We see Jesus with a whip in His hand overturning tables and scattering coins of money. Does this sound like the kind, tolerant, nice Jesus that the world has stereotyped Him as?
Is Jesus really mad simply because people elected to buy their sacrificial animals at the temple instead of bringing them from home? Is Jesus mad because He doesn't want anything for sale even in the outer courts of the temple?
Pastor Todd explains from scripture that the blessings of God come from obedience. Yet many of the people were disobedient before coming to the temple and still expect the blessings of God. The people do not know their God.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals the truth about the character of Jesus, our obedience, and about speaking the truth in love.
Please listen to the end for some important information.

John 15:13 But He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. Truth gives us boldness.
Pastor Todd asks, "How long will we, believers, allow unbelievers disciple us?" The world looks at our Bible and misquotes it and abuses it and throws it back in our face. For the most part in the church we let them do it. All too often we are silent in these situations. Two reasons could explain this. 1) We don't know the truth ourselves or 2) we think that passiveness is Christianity.
Jesus demonstrates boldness to everyone. He tells people the truth. He is not passive. His love for people required Him to tell them the truth about their lifestyles and destiny.
Pastor Todd shows us that we do not have to accept what the world tells us what Jesus was like. We do not have to accept the world's word about tolerance. We have the truth in the Spirit of Truth from God.
The world does not understand the Bible. They do not have the Spirit of God to give them revelation of what it means.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd teaches us about this very important topic.
How do we become sober and vigilant? Why is this important for these times?
Pastor Massey teaches us today about becoming sober minded. Some people associate this with not drinking alcohol but it is so much more than that. It means to avoid anything that would lead us away from God's truth and sound judgment.
Sober is not lazy or passive. It is steady and even keeled in the midst of a storm. To be alert is to be sober, committed to truth, trusting in God. When trials come a sober person remains stable because we put our faith and trust in Jesus. Soberness keeps our character stable.
Don't we need to be models for those around us? What happens when people see us fall apart when difficulties come? They can lose faith.
Sober is a state of mind. Vigilance is a state of action. We cannot be vigilant in Christ if we are not sober in mind. When you aren't sober you can't be bold for Christ.
When we are sober we can see clearly. We can deal with the world clearly. We see ourselves and others clearly. If we are sober in mind we can see the Word of God clearly. If we are sober in mind we can be vigilant. We can be victorious.
Let's listen in as Pastor Massey shares with us about vigilance and being sober in mind in Christ.

Pastor Todd speaks to us today about seasons. Seasons tell us what we need to do. In agriculture there is a planting season, when seed is spread or pressed into the ground. There is a watering or growth season where we need to nurture and water. There is a harvest season where we reap the benefit of the planting and watering seasons.
In life we have seasons of growth from a child. Other seasons where we may be raising children. Later a season of retirement comes. Each of these seasons requires that we do certain things. We may even have seasons of grief or anxiety or loneliness. In those seasons we also have things we can do and should do in order to continue.
In scripture, Deuteronomy 28:12, God promises rain on the land in the right season and blessings on the work of our hands. The blessing is contingent on our work. If the rain comes and we have not planted nothing will grow.
Even so, we can plant the wrong seed in the wrong season and we will be unproductive because the growth will not be there. So we need to plant the right seed in the right season. Sometimes we can be doing the right things but at the wrong time.
Pastor Todd shows us in Gen 8:22 that these seasonal patterns repeat and continue. They will not cease as long as the Earth remains. We ignore or dismiss or mis align them at our risk. We need to pay attention to these seasonal cycles and act according to them.
There are seasons in the Kingdom of God as well.

Revelation 12:4 tells us that satan was cast out of heaven and he took a third of the angels with him. These became the demons. Their job now is to torment us, God's people, if we let them.
Many churches teach that demons were just an old testament thing or something in the gospels and we don’t really have to deal with them anymore. The question is "where do they think they went?".
Pastor Todd teaches us that demons are mentioned over 83 times in the New Testament. 25% of Jesus' ministry dealt with demons. Jesus gave us authority over demons.
Demons have a will of their own and they have emotions, knowledge, self awareness. They can speak our language.
Demons deceive, lie, and oppress. They also can be responsible for illnesses, physical, emotional and mental.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd teaches us about this very important topic.

If you currently are experiencing anxiety about anything in your life or you have in the past this message is for you. Who hasn't?
Pastor Todd presents a simple, practical process to go through when you are experiencing anxiety about anything.
Often we can make our situation appear worse by repeating a negative narrative about it. Sometimes we can be listening to the wrong voices like the internet. Perhaps shame and guilt keep us from confessing things to God. Often we can get attention by repeating our anxiety story. It's called a victim mentality. If we are defined by our tragedy, our condition, our pain, what does that say about our role as a child of God?
Pastor Todd is not discounting real tragedy or pain but he is sharing with us a new way to see and describe our situation.
How we see and describe our situation can shorten that experience. We can do it as Jesus does.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd helps us find a way out of our anxiety. There is victory available.

Pastor Massey speaks to us today from 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 We are earthen vessels carrying about the Lord Jesus.
Its time for the church to move and mobilize. Evil is great today but it is not worse than its ever been. We should not fear evil. We should fear God, in a good way.
Massey reminds us that the moment we became Christians a target was added to our backs. The enemy is seeking to defeat us in every way, afflict us in every way, discourage and degrade our faith and therefore our message about Jesus and our message about evil in this world. Some may be persecuted, some imprisoned, some even put to death. Scripture tells us that this is very likely.
Nevertheless, this is not the time to shrink back. Now is the time to move forward.
Let the Holy Spirit speak to you today through Pastor's Massey's message. This message is for all of us.

Pastor Todd teaches us today from Philippians 3, reminding us of Paul's comments about leaving things behind and reaching forward to what God has for us in Christ Jesus.
In order to move forward in anything you have to leave things behind. Your future is not going to be any different if you stay in your past. A baby cannot be birthed until the umbilical cord is cut and they leave the womb.
The Israelites had to leave Eqypt to become free or they would have remained slaves. Even so, when they had actually left Egypt they were not yet free. They carried with them the slave mindset. They were, effectively, runaway slaves.
It was not until they saw the bodies of the Egyptians who were chasing them to bring them back into slavery, that they were delivered from the mindset of slavery. They had to see the death of what kept them captive in order to become truly free.
Sometimes we can go to a new place with an old attitude. The people of Israel were delivered from their captivity but still desired the things of their enslavement. There is something comforting about enslavement. Why? Because I don't have to think for myself. Whatever we are enslaved by makes my decisions for me and determines my future.
Do you look to your past to define your future?

Pastor Todd is fired up today.
He speaks to us today about Boldness or a lack of it. He shares with us a survey of the Word of God where His people spoke out with boldness. Many of these people were previously fearful of speaking and becoming identified with Jesus. However, once they were transformed by the Holy Spirit they began to speak boldly in support of the gospel and Jesus as savior, Son of God, King.
Pastor Todd declares that is the time that the church needs to speak out boldly in the name of Jesus about the things of God. It's time that the church stood up and boldly spoke out against the enemy. Its time that the church spoke out boldly against the things of the enemy in society and govt, just as Moses did before Pharoah and Esther did before her King and Daniel before the Kings of Babylon and David before Goliath and Peter before the Jewish authorities after Pentecost and Paul before the Roman rulers of his day.
Boldness is found in truth. We can be bold when we have found the truth. Jesus IS the Way, the TRUTH, and the life. We have no reason not to be bold when we are representing Jesus.
Hear this: The church today has proven time and again, over and over and over again, that our passiveness and our tolerance is a success tool for satan.
We need to hear this. It is what all Christians need to hear today. If the Holy Spirit lives in us then we have every reason and ability to be bold.

"What a cool era we live in. We have been given the authority to overcome all things."
On the 4th of July 2022, Pastor Massey surveys the founders of America and their beliefs in God and liberty.
He points out to us that the federal govt is not the authority over us. The Constitution is. The people of America are.
If we want to roll back the abuses of power in this country, it starts with us, the "people", taking up roles in local, state and national govt. Christians historically have abandoned this gift and responsibility given to us by God.
We need to change our attitudes about this world. Many people are losing hope and just waiting for Jesus to come back to resolve it all. That is not the attitudes of the founders. When those men and women saw hardship coming they fortified themselves in the Lord. How about we take up fight in the Lord and show the power of the Lord in this world?
Instead of asking for Jesus to come soon, He is already here because we are asking for the Kingdom of God to come on earth. (Matt 6).
Pastor Massey exposes the current events in the US in the light of the Constitution and the Word of the Lord.
Let's listen in and learn about the founding of America and what we should be doing today to live up to that.

Pastor Todd is rockin' it today. He reminds us from the recent series on the Fruit of the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit that these all come from the Spirit who lives in us. We are not to derive or create these things in ourselves but rather it is the Spirit's job to produce them and then enable us to do the Kingdom work in this world.
He teaches us that the Church is supposed to be a powerful tool to overcome the evil in this world. We are not victims waiting to be rescued. We are already victorious over satan and his demons. We have been given divine authority and power through Christ for tearing down strongholds and every lofty thing that raises itself up against God.
The world does not need more "nice" Christian people. The world already has millions of nice people. The gospel is not primarily about being nice. Its not even about persuasive words of wisdom of people. It is about the demonstration of the Spirit and power of God. It's not about knowledge but it is about the supernatural power of God transforming people.
Why do I need the supernatural power of the Spirit to be a nice person? Why do I need the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit just to sit and wait for Jesus to come back?
Satan is convincing people in the church that they are victims in this world and need a govt to take care of them. Satan is confusing young people about who they are in their own bodies and confusing Christians about marriage and family. Satan is convincing the people of the world that Christians are haters and should have their mouths legally shut.
You've got to listen to this message. It is what all Christians need to hear today.

Pastor Todd has said for many years that the Old Testament is a physical example of a New Testament spiritual reality. Today he share with us about the relationship of rain in the Old Testament to the pouring out of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament. We know that a drought produces famine because nothing will grow. If you are suffering from a famine, what do you pray for? You pray for rain. What does it mean when the Holy Spirit is poured out on God's people? What is the difference between the early rain and the latter rain? Pastor Todd explains this and teaches us about Pentecost as the early rain and there is another rain which is the harvest, the latter rain.
Jesus' return brings the harvest but just before the Lord returns there will be the late rain, a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit on God's people in the world. We can pray for that rain. What must happen for the late rain, the outpouring to come? Let's listen in as Pastor Todd Explains. Have you ever wondered if Peter meant that one day in our calendar is exactly 1000 years in the Lord's calendar? (2 Peter 3:8)? Have you ever wondered why it took God 20 years to provide Abraham with a Son or why there were many years between the time that God anointed David and the time he actually became King over Israel? Is it possible that God's timeline is very different than ours? Or perhaps there is no such thing as sequential time with God. How can our prayers be answered in the spiritual realm before we experience it in our time? How can God give us prophetic words about the future except that He is not contained within time? God is eternal because He is not contained by time. He created time. Pastor Todd dives into a confusing but very important topic today. Let's listen in as Pastor Todd Explains. Sharing from Proverbs 18:20-21 Pastor Todd teaches us that the quality of our lives is strongly influenced by the words that come out of our mouths. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." For today's purposes we know from the scriptures that death means separation from God not physical death. And we know that life is what Jesus came to offer us. Abundant life more than we can ask or imagine and Eternal life.
When we say things we are either pushing God away or drawing Him toward us. The mouth is the revealer of the heart. If our words are evil and contrary to God then our heart is the source of that.
Our words can lead to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

There have been many teachings over the centuries about the "Gates of Hell" but do we know that Jesus really meant by this statement in Matthew 16?
Do you see the two spiritual kingdoms that He's talking about? He says, there's a kingdom of heaven for those who believe and there's a kingdom that is of and on this world, that's Satan's kingdom.
What separates the two kingdoms, the kingdom of heaven from the kingdom of hell, is the gates. There are gates that separate the kingdom of heaven from the kingdom of this world.
Why did He say that the gates will not prevail against the church? Why didn't He say the demons will not prevail against the church? Why didn't He say evil will not prevail or why not the enemy? Why did He say the gates will not prevail against the church?

Everyone wonders about what will happen on the day of Judgement. We know as Christians that we have received eternal life in Christ when we come to faith but there still seems to be confusion about what judgement may be like for us and others who do not believe.
Pastor Todd dives into this subject and reveals the truth from Scripture.
"I'm going to start with this question. Will we be judged? Will we be judged? Let's go to scripture, Hebrews 9:27, "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment." "
So, are we going to be judged? Yes. But let me tell you what most people think that judgment is. Most people think they're going to stand before God, and He's going to judge whether or not they get to enter heaven or go to hell. That is not what scripture says. That does not even make sense.
Now there is a judgment that is coming. To make things more complicated for everyone, there's actually two different judgements. There are two different judgments, but you will only have to go through one. You'll make the decision which judgment you go through, but you only have to go through one.

Today, we're going to be talking about the atmospheres that we live in and how to change them. One of the atmospheres that we live in is seen, it is physical, it is you and me, it’s what we deal with in the flesh. But there's another atmosphere that we deal with. It's in the spiritual, it's the spiritual kingdom of God.
We knew that the disciples, as they were following Jesus, they thought He was talking about a physical kingdom. But, He wasn't talking about that. He was talking about a spiritual kingdom, a spiritual atmosphere.
There's two atmospheres we dwell in. I just want to say this as a baseline for where we're going today. When we find ourselves in an atmosphere that is not of God, we need to change the atmosphere. Let me say it again. If you find yourself in an atmosphere that is not of God, we need to change that atmosphere.

Pastor Todd completes his series today on how healing works by sharing with us on the question of Why does healing sometimes not come?
Are we walking in hope instead of faith? What is the difference? Just as we need to understand our sin and Jesus' sacrifice in order to make a decision to follow Christ, there may be a certain amount of knowledge that we need for healing. Do we have any unconfessed sin in our life? Are we carrying around some unforgiveness against others?
These are a few of several other questions that Pastor Todd explores with us in seeking the answer to the question of healing.
We believe in Jesus's healing for today. The question is: are you ready to put your faith, as opposed to your hope, in His healing? Are you ready to learn about healing so that you can understand it?
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd reveals more.

Pastor Todd continues his series on how healing works.
Do you want to understand healing or to take more steps in healing? Perhaps you need healing or you are not understanding why you're not getting that healing. Pastor Todd helps us grow in our understanding of how healing works in the Kingdom of God. He leads us in a view of when Jesus heals.
As we have been looking at Luke 4 and Isaiah 61 we have observed that one type of healing is release from captivity. We also see in that another type of healing is that He came to set free those who are oppressed. We can be excused for wondering what the difference is here. Pastor Todd teach us that the Greek word for oppression here means to break or shatter into pieces. So Jesus is coming to set free those who have been broken and shattered into pieces.
So, where do we get shattered at? We don't get shattered physically. You can have diseases or illnesses, but when you talk about being broken into pieces, we're talking about emotionally, being broken inside. You can even talk to someone and say, ‘that just shattered me; I just feel broken inside; I'm hurt; I don't know what to do; I don't know where to go.’
Other forms of healing are external but to be healed from oppression in the sense spoken of in the scripture here is to be healed internally.

As Pastor Todd continues this series on healing he focuses on the second line of Isaiah 61 that Jesus read. It says, He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives. Jesus is saying, God sent me to proclaim a release to the captives. What does this have to do with healing? Is there a kind of sickness that controls us or weighs us down? Is there a kind of healing that holds us captive?

Pastor Todd says, "Jesus goes into the synagogue, stands up, and reads from Isaiah 61. The portion of Isaiah 61 that He read is actually a job description. It was what the Messiah has come to accomplish, and we recognize that each of those lines that He talks about accomplishing is a form of healing. Jesus came to heal, but there are different types of sicknesses. There are sicknesses in the body, sicknesses of the mind, sicknesses of the emotions, of the spirit (death), and things that need to be healed."
In this first message of the series, Pastor Todd covers the first healing, that is the resurrection from death to life for every believer. What could be a greater healing than to be transformed from death to life.

Today Pastor Massey is sharing a pivotal message for the church. This has become a core part of the culture at Revive church. Satan came to steal, and kill and destroy. Jesus came to bring life. Since we have His Spirit in us we already have this life in us. Sometimes we speak negative words over ourselves when Jesus wants to speak life. Sometimes we speak negative words over others because they have disappointed us. From scripture, Pastor Massey reveals how Paul spoke life over the people in the churches even after they had behaved poorly.
The power of the spoken word changes everything.
With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied;
He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Proverbs 18:20
A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, Proverbs 12:14
Pastor Massey teach us that we are a people who should practice speaking life over others. Encouragement. Words of Knowledge. Compassion. Words of healing. In this we are following Jesus' example.
This will change the atmosphere in your home, your workplaces, your relationships.

With each message brought to us through Pastor Todd and our other pastors, only the Holy Spirit really knows who the message is for. So is the message today as Pastor Todd preaches through Psalm 91, often called the Psalm of protection.
Everyone has had experiences in their lives where they felt exposed or at risk leading to feelings of weakness, fear and powerlessness. Clearly the Psalmist writing in Psalm 91 has felt this too. He writes this to remind us of God's great protection over His people.
Pastor Todd teaches us through the Psalm and examples through scripture that demonstrate God's great care and lovingkindness and protection. If you are going through challenging times just now you really need this reminder that you are not alone and God has your back.

Today Pastor Todd helps us to focus on the next things that came about from Pentecost. We often celebrate Pentecost as a single event but Pastor Todd reveals that it was just the beginning, a kick off, for a continuing move of God. The people were continuing in awe at the things they were witnessing day after day, week after week. The signs and wonders from the Holy Spirit were continuing to manifest through the Apostles. We don't have those apostle's with us today except in the scriptures that some wrote. However, is it possible that these signs and wonders still follow the believers today? If so then the power of Pentecost can continue for us as well.

Pastor Massey teaches us today on the importance of giving up. In Romans 12:1 it says that we should present ourselves as a living sacrifice. This seems like an oxymoron or a contradiction. How can we be living and dead at the same time? It doesn't say 'present your bodies to a sacrifice.' It says to present ourselves to a living death.
So much of our efforts lead to stress and anxiety. Yet if we give up on our own efforts and trust in God's provision and calling that is when true fruit and peace and joy and success. Is it because we are not confident that He will come through with what He has promised?
Pastor Massey shares some of his own story and life experience as someone who always plowed forward for God mostly in his own effort. He learned that giving up his own agenda and replaeing that with God's agenda leads to peace not stress, not anxiety. There is good in giving up.
Let's hear from him in the way that only he can do it.

Our Pastor Kimo, elder and leader of our inner healing ministry, is on deck today.
Pastor Kimo reminds us today of 1 Corinthians 13. If we do all things in ministry, in family, in work, in the world but without love we are nothing because God is love. He proceeds to help us understand what love really means and it may not be what we think.
When God created Adam and Eve He created them in His image, that is, Love. When they sinned what was ruined? Love. In Christ, we are redeemed and transformed again into the image of God in Love.
The question that so many people in the world are asking is this. Does anyone love me? They may not even know what they are asking but they know something is missing.
Let's listen in as the Holy Spirit speaks to us about love through Pastor Kimo.

Knowing someone and knowing about someone are two different things. Having things known about you and being known are two different things. There are many things that we know about Jesus but do we really know him? How can we know that Jesus is the "bread of life" if we don't know what it means to depend on Him every day? Can we know that Jesus is the light of the world if we don't know the darkness of the world and why we need His light?
Have you ever had someone close to you tell you the honest truth about you? It may have been painful initially until you considered it coming from a dear friend who would not intend to hurt. It may be something you needed to hear but didn't really want to hear it. This could be Jesus sharing this truth with you. It may hurt initially but it rings true that you have something to deal with. It may hurt at first but then you realize that it was delivered by Jesus, the lover of your soul.
Pastor Todd shows us from the scriptures how this might work and reveals the heart of the savior in lovingkindness as He speaks that truth.

As of this post, Pentecost is coming up this Sunday. To prepare us all for this we are sharing Pastor Todd's message from this time last year.
We know that many people have different ideas about the importance of Pentecost for the Christian. For some it is just the birthday of the Church. For others it is the Day that the Holy Spirit came in power. For others it is the beginning of the Apostolic age. It can be controversial. Pastor Todd teaches us today what the scriptures actually says about it. As usual, Pastor Todd reveals the depth and breadth of the meaning of the day. You know that you will come away from this with a new understanding, a new meaning, a new perspective because of Pastor Todd's teaching. Transformation is in the air. The apostles were never the same again after this day. We have access to the same transformation.
Let's let Pastor Todd explain.

In these times there are many things clamoring to make us afraid of what could possibly come our way. There are certain things in our life that we are believing that are a lie that will cause us to fear. Many times this fear is based on a spiritual influence in our lives. Pastor Todd reminds us from 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and discipline. There is a spirit of fear. This spirit can lead us to "pile on fear after fear" from a single experience in life such as a car accident. We begin to imagine many painful possibilities that could from this event. Injury. Cost. Loss of a job.
Pastor Todd explains how this can happen and what we can do to overcome this fear, this spirit of fear who is always ready to paralyze us with lies.

Peter actively connects with viewers online helping them feel a part of the Revive church community. He prays with people, encourages them, speaks words from the Lord to this online community. Perhaps this is you.
Pastor Pete speaks today about directed faith. Is faith just a word that Christians just throw around? Is faith only a step we take to become disciples of Jesus? Is there a practice of faith that brings transformation in us and those around us? Does the Holy Spirit direct our faith to accomplish great things leading to hope for others? Pete leads us in an exploration of faith and how that can accomplish much as we join our faith and hope together in community.
Let's listen in Pete as he shares with us.

The Greek word for self-control means "The virtue of one who masters desires and passions". Pastor Todd teaches today on the fruit of the Spirit called "self-control". There is always a trigger that ignites in us the need for self-control. The joy of the fruit of self-control is that it is not me fighting to be in control of my passions. It is the Holy Spirit demonstrating that circumstances of life will not force me to make a wrong decision.
Let's let Pastor Todd explain.

We have Pastor Massey on deck today as he asks the question, "Who can abide?" Who can abide in the tent of the Lord? From the life of David in Psalm 15, he tells us the answer to that question. Pastor Massey shares many of difficulties and distractions David went through in his life. David's experience with Bathsheba happened when he was distracted from his role as a King who was supposed to lead his army into battle.
Let's listen in as Pastor Massey teaches about the qualities of men and women who abide in the tent of the Lord.
Have you ever used the "fleece" method to confirm if a word was from the Lord or not? This is not an uncommon practice because they read the scripture and it sounds like God approved it. But it doesn't actually say that. What if Gideon's fleecing requests mean something else? What if the laying out of the fleece is actually a demonstration of a lack of faith? Is the fleece actually a way of testing God?
Pastor Todd explains this further and shines a new light on a scripture that we may have been misunderstanding for a long time.
Today Pastor Todd takes a page from the story of Jesus' youth. He looks at the event where Jesus' parents didn’t know where he was for 3 days. If you are a parent you can understand how terrifying this experience could be. For these days they were out of communication with Him, out of fellowship with Him. This is a time to ask ourselves if we have been out of communication with Him, out of fellowship with Him. Maybe because we haven't spent time with Him lately or because we have made a choice to do something that we know He wouldn't approve. This is not about losing our salvation. Nothing can pluck us out of the hand of God. Can we lose Jesus in the midst of our celebrating Jesus? Perhaps we are distracted with the busy-ness of life. Is it possible, like Jesus' parents, that for a time we are not in the presence of Jesus?
Let's let Pastor Todd explain.
Are you tired of dealing with what you are dealing with? Are you at a place where "enough is enough"? Are you tired of fighting what seems like a never-ending battle? Pastor Todd takes us through the Word of God to show how often God's people can find themselves pushed to their limit. He explains the power of perseverance, when you keep fighting even though you are tired and really want to give up or throw in the towel. "You don't know how much power you are exerting against the enemy with your perseverance." What happens if we give up right before the Lord shows up in our battle? What will we miss?
From the life of Joshua, Pastor Todd shows all that Joshua had to go through leading the people into the promised land and how the Lord came through after they have persevered through great difficulty.

In a series on the fundamentals of the Christian faith, Pastor Todd shares with us today on sharing our faith, evangelism. He believes that the reason why most Christians don't share their faith with others is that they don't know how. He looks at the common phrases used among Christians when sharing their faith that don’t really have a strong Biblical foundation. Then he proceeds to explain the gospel story in a way that we can share with others simply and effectively. This message will equip us with what we need to know to share our faith confidently with anyone.

Today we have the honor of hearing one of our Elders and the leader of our Inner Healing ministry, Kimo Bethea. He will be sharing with us about the reasons we may not have experienced healing yet. Blockages can prevent our healing. From the Word of God, he shows that significant blockages may be hiding in our belief systems.

Are you hungry? How is your appetite? Pastor Todd looks at the experience of the people of Israel in the wilderness. God provides manna for them according to each person's appetite. Those with a greater appetite were satisfied with sufficient portions and those with lesser appetites were likewise satisfied according to their appetite. God provides according to our appetites. As we grow in our appetites for spiritual things God will satisfy us. If our appetites for these things is small or limited or casual He will provide for us to satisfy our appetites just as with the people of Israel.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd explains more deeply how this spiritual principle works in our lives.
Revive Church : http://www.reviveusnow.com
Pastor Todd says, "I believe that scripture evidences that we are supposed to be living very exciting lives." What does he mean by that? "We should be living dynamic encounters with divine things. We are having such experiences with God that are a joy and a blast." He shares with us many stories of how the Holy Spirit came on people "in power" for specific tasks that He has called them to. This same Holy Spirit lives in us if we call Jesus our Lord by faith but there are also times when the Holy Spirit will come upon us "in power" for special tasks that He has called us to. This can lead to prophesying. It can lead to bringing healing to others. He wants us to work in miraculous ways "in His power". These are times that come in the life of believers who have received the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Spirit.
Pastor Todd takes us deeper into the excitement of walking in the supernatural.

Pastor Todd talks to us today about maturing in our faith and our calling with God. In Romans 8:28-30, Paul writes that "these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called He called He also justified, and these whom he justified He also glorified." Is it possible, though, that our circumstances don't look very much like we are predestined and called and justified and glorified? Are you stuck? Are you feeling that you are unable to move forward in your calling? If God foreknew you and predestined you how could He leave you in this situation? Is it possible that we are believing something about our calling that may not be clear? We must know what our calling is and what it is not.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd helps us understand our calling and overcome some frustrations with how that looks.
Revive Church : http://www.reviveusnow.com
Isaiah 53 tells us that the Messiah will be a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Tears are not mentioned here but based on our own experience we have to know that this means tears.
Jesus comes to this earth and we know he is fully divine. And we know that he is fully human and he walks this earth with both of those things, sorrow and grief. That's one of the most perplexing things to consider. What were his emotions like if you're fully God and fully man. What does that do to your emotions? What makes Jesus cry?
We know that often when the Holy Spirit comes on us that we may begin to cry or weep. Are we weeping with Him? Is He revealing His heart to us?
Pastor Todd explains this from the life of Jesus found in the Bible.
Revive Church : http://www.reviveusnow.com
As Christians we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Some call it Easter. We are celebrating Jesus' resurrection from the dead after He was crucified and paid the price for our sins. If we believe this then He promises that we will have eternal life. Even more so, we get to experience our own resurrection now in this life. How is that possible since we have not died yet. Pastor Todd teaches here about how we were born with a dead spirit inside. This has been true of every human born since Adam and Eve sinned. However, in Jesus' resurrection, by faith our spirit within us is resurrected too.
It is true that everyone who has not yet put their faith in Jesus is walking around as a dead person. That is, their spirit is dead within them. When they put their faith in Christ, they are "Raised to new life", resurrected with Jesus.
Pastor Todd explains how this works and why Jesus resurrection is so important to us and what our resurrection means for us.

Today we have Part 3 in a 3 part series on the Gift of Tongues.
The gift of tongues has been very controversial for over a century among Christians. Some of that has been due to tradition and "the way that we have always done thiings". For others it is a matter of fear or discomfort or lack of experience. Continuing today, Pastor Todd is going to walk us through the Word of God only, not tradition or experience. He explains from scripture the foundation of this gift, one of many that "follow those who believe".
Pastor Todd completes his teaching from 1 Corinthians 14 and teaches how tongues should be used in church. Many churches have avoided tongues because the Apostle, Paul, says that everything should be decently and in order. For many everything about tongues feels the opposite of that and so they are avoided. However Paul also says that I wish that you all spoke in Tongues (14:5). Pastor Todd goes on to teach us from the Bible how a church can and should operate in tongues in the assembly of believers.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd explains.

This message today concerns churches across the United States who have misunderstood the government attempts to limit church involvement in the politics of our nation. He discusses the Johnson Amendment to the IRS tax code and its impact on church's tax exempt status as 501c3 organizations. It may not mean what you think that it does. There is so much misunderstanding about this that many churches have remained silent about important issues facing our nation and the world, like abortion, liberty, war, guns, violence, and many more.
This message is a bit shorter than usual today. If you find this helpful please share this with your pastor and with your Christian friends.
Let's listen in as Pastor Todd explains.
Be sure to listen to the end for some important information about Pastor Todd's new book.
Pastor Todd teaches us today from his series, "The Old is the New". In this series he shows us a new reality about the relationship of the Old Testament to the New. Just as Jesus would tell parables, stories to explain spiritual realities, the Old Testament can be seen as stories to reveal New Testament spiritual truths and realities. For example, in Luke 24:27, the scripture says "Then beginning with Moses and with all of the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all of the scriptures."
In today's message, Pastor Todd focuses on the story of Noah. Why is the story of Noah in the Bible and how does that help us in our lives today? How does Noah compare with Jesus? Is he a model of Jesus? In Noah's time there were many unrighteous people but through Noah God saves a few. Jesus, Himself, points out that the road to life is narrow and few find it and that He is that pathway.
Jesus tells us that the last days will be like the days of Noah where people were eating and drinking and marrying, going about their daily lives as though nothing they did displeased God.
Pastor Todd reveals Jesus in this story, showing us how the Old testament is a physical illustration of a New Testament spiritual principle.

From the Book of Daniel, Pastor Todd teach us how to distinguish committed leaders and how to become such a distinguished leader. What was it that distinguished Daniel before the King? The scripture answers that question, "because he possessed an extraordinary spirit". Further, "no one could find any ground for accusation and no negligence or corruption could be found in him". He was righteous in every way.
One lesson in Daniel's experience is that other leaders can become jealous at your promotion or honor. They will seek a way to bring you down. Don't give them that opening through negligence or corruption. Other leaders may act unrighteously or negligently but the man or woman of God will not and promotion will come.
Promotion comes through righteousness.
Personal and professional lives will cross over sooner or later. Walk righteously in your personal life as well as your professional life.

Our assistant Pastor, Massey Campos, speaks to us today about dry bones. The familiar scripture from Ezekiel 37 talk about a valley of dry bones. He points out that this is not a valley of dead people. These bodies have been dead for a long time such that they have dried out. Do you feel like that? Are you feeling dry? Pastor Massey talks about this dryness in the church, in the lives of Christians and in the lives of people in our territory and nation that need resurrection. He shows us the hope for revival and renewal and resurrection in Christ, in the Holy Spirit. He points out that these bones did not just rise up to become just people who walk around as they did before but they rose up as warriors ready to fight for the things of the Kingdom of God.
This is a message of hope for something new to happen in our lives. God is present. The Holy Spirit fills us and strengthens us for this life and for the battles that come our way because walk in the Spirit of righteousness.

As Pastor Todd continues teaching through the Year of the Holy Spirit, he teaches us now about one of the most controversial teachings among modern Christians. Please don't let this divert you. Pastor Todd shares the reasons why so many Christians and their leaders teach that the gifts are not for today. Then he proceeds, from scripture, to show why this perspective is based on "sloppy Bible interpretation".
He does not teach us from History, nor from fear of chaos in the church, nor fear of walking out these gifts improperly. He teaches from the Word of God, Himself. These gifts were not given only to the apostles in their age. They were given to the church, then and now for the building up of the body of Christ until Jesus returns.
The church should be operating in the power of the Spirit not in fear of what might happen.

Today we are going to change things up just a little bit. Pastor Todd published a book a couple of years ago called "Hide and Seek". He is joined by his wife Jan and Revive's assistant pastor, Massey Campos to discuss this series about the lies that hide in our soul that lead us to believe things that are not true and then to act on those beliefs. Today they are looking at the stronghold of fear. A stronghold is a fortress, a result, from 1 Cor 10:3-5, of speculations that become lofty things in our minds that are raised up against the knowledge of God and become beliefs.
In the last couple of years fear has really taken over people's lives in response to the pandemic. This is not God's way. We can find ourselves entertaining speculations from the world such that they grow in our minds to become lofty things that oppose God's will for us. Fear, as a tool of Satan, is constantly roaming around like a Lion seeking whom it may steal, kill and destroy.
Let's listen into what Pastor Todd, Jan and Massey discuss about this important topic.

Does Self-control only keep you from doing something wrong or can it help you decide to do something right? Most of the time we view self-control as "I had better get myself in control or I'm going to do something bad." "I has better go count to 10." Jesus' self-control allowed Him to do something right. He tells the Father, please make this cup pass from me but nevertheless, let your will be done not mine. What if self-control was about mastering our desires, both good and bad? Jesus' self-control was about doing a good thing. Could self-control be about submission to the will of God? This can be a very challenging idea.
But, remember that the Fruits of the Spirit ARE fruits that come from Him not us. He is exercising His fruit in us.

We have a great honor today. Pastor Charles Carrin spoke to us at Revive church. Charles has been ministering the gospel for over 70 years. The Holy Spirit is strong in him such that if he barely touches you while passing by a supernatural anointing will come upon you.
What would it be like if Jesus said "I saw you…." as he did to Nathaniel under the fig tree? Jesus pressed Nathaniel's reset button when He told him that He had seen him under that tree. Though Nathaniel was amazed at this, Jesus told him that He can tell him many more things about himself that he never even thought of. In the digital world a reset button returns an instrument to its original, intended state or position before any mistakes and readies it for a fresh start.
Charles is not talking to new believers or those who are just about to make that decision. He is speaking to people who have been following Jesus for many years or decades. He is reminding us that we all need renewal. We all need God to press our reset button.
Who does not need a reset in their marriage, in their business, in their education?
But, remember that the Fruits of the Spirit ARE fruits that come from Him not us. He is exercising His fruit in us.
Let's listen in to this powerful man of God.

Satan knows this about us and will seek to deceive us with our own desires by lies in our belief systems. He can use religion to interfere with our faith and relationship with God.

Pastor Todd teaches us today on the Fruit of Joy. As we learned in the previous message, the Fruits of the Spirit are not things that we generate in ourselves. They are the Fruit of the Spirit. We are not supposed to be transforming our behavior into joy. We are looking for Joy to manifest in our lives from the Holy Spirit. This is tremendously liberating.
"The joy of the Lord is your strength." Neh 8:10 What is the JOY of the Lord? And How does that become our strength? Is our view of God stern and serious and demanding? How does God's Holy Spirit manifest joy?

Pastor Todd teaches that the fruit of the Spirit is actually the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is not the fruit of behavioral transformation. We cannot create these fruits in ourselves because they are not our fruits. They are the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us. Our role is to walk in the Spirit, that is, yield our body and soul to His authority and control.

Pastor Massey teaches us today on the importance of our minds in spiritual warfare. The mind is a key attack vector for the enemy. He attacks us with mental illness, depression, stress, lies and deceptions. He encourages us to diminish and destroy our minds through drugs and intoxications. We can be bothered in our minds by the filters we walk by. Massey walks us through 2 Corinthians 10 and shows us how our minds work to find truth or lies. He exposes conspiracies and unfounded speculations that creep into our minds and leads into taking every thought of our minds captive to Christ.

Pastor Todd has started a 4 week series called "Get it Together: Reviving your Marriage". This series is unlike any marriage series that you have heard before. He takes us on a journey through scripture and also into Holy Spirit revelation about God's design for marriage. The most important issue in marriage today is that we don't understand the roles of husband and wife. 90% of the problems in marriage come down to one thing. The design is wrong. Once we understand how marriage was designed to work it becomes easier to have a successful marriage.
Today's message is part 4 in the series. Pastor Todd shows us from Ephesians 5 how men should love their wives. Husbands need to learn to love their wives as Christ loves the church. This is an element of giving up your identity. When was the last time you asked your wife for her opinion on a decision? How do we set our wives apart for what the Lord wants to do with her? How do we learn to depend on her giftings? Pastor Todd explores these questions and many more in this final session of Getting it Together: Reviving your marriage.

It does not mean that she should put up with abuse for the sake of the Lord. It doesn't mean that she spends all her time catering to his needs. Wives generally understand love but do not understand respect. The majority of wives do not know how to respect her husband. Pastor Massey leads us in understanding of being "appointed" by God. This is even greater than a prophetic word that we are being anointed by God for ministry. There can be years from when we are anointed until we are appointed. What happens when we jump the gun? Each of us has an anointing. Each of us has a calling. Each of us has giftings. God has blessings that He wants to pour out on us and through our appointing in His timing. There is a difference between a call to ministry and the release into ministry.
Pastor Massey shines a light on what it means to be appointed to a ministry in a certain place and time.

Part 2 in this series continues the deeper dive into the role of the husband in marriage. Looking deeper into Ephesians 5 we find that the husband's role in marriage is that of Jesus in how He relates to the church. Jesus was able to claim His bride when He died for her. Just as Eve was created from a rib from Adam's side, Jesus was pierced in His side. Just as Jesus presents His bride in perfection to Himself in glory, so the Husband must honor his wife, nourishing and cherishing her. Pastor Todd takes us another step through God's design for marriage as he finishes showing us God's design for a husband.

Husbands this is going to be uncomfortable at first until you grasp your role and purpose but it will transform your marriage into something that you love again.

Pastor Todd reminds us of the story of the Canaanite woman who came asking Him to heal her demon possessed daughter. She has likely tried many other things already. She is desperate for healing her daughter. She knows that as a non-Jew she doesn't have any right to come to Jesus.
She knew that there would be crumbs, leftover from the table of the people of God. Jesus recognized her faith through her desperation.
Have you ever been on your knees so desperate to beg Jesus for His help? Do we fail to consume all of what the "bread of life" offers us? Are there times when things are going so well in our lives that we do not cry out to God?

One of the most difficult things for Christians to do is to admit that they are mad at God. Yet every Christian encounters some of the challenges of life and wonder where God is in the midst of it. The pain and the hurt can make us question God's goodness. We can become angry and bitter against God. Pastor Todd, Pastor Massey and elder Kimo share these times have happened to them and how they dealt with them. Some people are mad at God and don't even realize it. Kimo encourages us to ask the Holy Spirit to do a heart check in us. He leads us to look into this.

Pastor Todd begins with the story of Daniel being cast into a den of hungry Lions after being falsely accused. We observe that the King did not want this to happen to Daniel but some accusers among his staff indicted Daniel for not following the law. We also see that the next morning nothing has happened to Daniel because of God's protection. Then the King throws the accusers in with the Lions. Pastor Todd points out a parallel in our time where we have an accuser in Satan. We have the idea that Satan, the father of lies, is trying to convince God of something terrible about us. We know that God could not be convinced like this and so we see that Satan wants to accuse us directly to undermine our faith in our own salvation and justification.

God is capable and able to do more and provide more than we are asking for. This is actually more that we can even think of or imagine. Eph 3:20. Our mental capability cannot even comprehend what He is able to do. Pastor Todd reveals many instances from scripture where God goes beyond what He is asked for. Then he points out that too many Christians live as though salvation is all we get in this life. Instead we need to realize that God has given so much more than we can ask or imagine.
Let's listen in to find out more.

Pastor Todd asks the questions, "What difference does it make that I am in the Kingdom of God?" and "What difference does it make in the Kingdom of God that I am a believer?". It can be very easy for us to make the Kingdom of God about rules. Do these things. Don't do those things. These can give the believer a reason not to depend on the Holy Spirit. This is religion. Surprisingly, people actually love rules even though many say that they don't. The truth is that rules will make you externally guided. A harder truth is that rules are for immature believers. Rules are necessary when understanding is not present.
How do we walk in maturity? Galatians 5:18. "If you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law."
Pastor Todd explains this.

Last month Pastor Todd spoke at the Truth to Power conference sponsored by Self-Evident Ministries at Revive church in Stuart, Florida. We have the honor to listen to this message that clarifies many questions about how God views government, what the church's relationship to government is and how the Christian should respond to government.
He reminds us that all authority on earth and in Heaven has been given to Jesus and all government is on His shoulders (Is 9:6). Pastor Todd teaches us that we need to understand scripture, especially Romans 13 from God's perspective. We are to be subject to authorities as they are ordained by God. That is the authority structure. That is not necessarily the same thing as individual people occupying positions of authority. He wants us to understand how to operate under authority and what that means. Tip: It may not mean what you think it does.

Where does our intellect fit into our experience of joy in the faith? Can we understand the Word without having the experience of joy in the Spirit? The intellectual person can read scripture, even about the experiences of people of faith, without actually having such experiences themselves. Faith is the conviction of things not seen. Intellectuals want to see things before they believe. Other people what to have an experience without understanding. This can lead to confusion. Pastor Todd leads us to understanding the need for both intellect and experience.

Pastor Massey Campos speaks today from Romans 12:1-5 about doing the impossible, about stepping out trusting God that He is calling us and empowering us to do great things, bold things. Some people need to step out of the way that things used to be. Some of us need to move from survival faith to bold, Kingdom, territory-taking faith. God is doing something new in this age and has called us to participate in the new. We can't carry yesterday's manna into the new age. God is doing something new. We have obeyed meekly for too long. It is time now to obey boldly. Obey our callings. Believe greatly in the new things God is doing.

Just as with the Israelites, God has given us a destiny to inherit. This Is not salvation. This is the Kingdom of God. Even though God had promised the land to His people, they still had to go in and claim it, fight for it, and develop it. We, too, are God's people and have received salvation by faith in Christ but we still have work to do to bring the Kingdom of God into this world and take territory for that Kingdom in Jesus' name. Well just like the people of Israel we can be slow or reluctant to take the territory that God has already promised to us. Pastor Todd teaches us from Joshua 13. Joshua is old by now and still the people have not fully taken the promised territory. There were still 7 of the 12 tribes who had not yet moved into their destiny. They have not possessed the land God had already promised them. So the important question is "What were they waiting for?" and "What are we waiting for?" in taking territory for the Kingdom of God.

How do we know when the Lord is on our side? Joshua 5. When any enemy sees that God is on our side the enemy begins to operate out of fear because they know that they are fighting a losing battle. In order to be ready for this, Pastor Todd teaches us that there comes a time when the old life has to be removed and we must be willing to move into a new life. If we are not willing to step out in faith our generation will be denied our destiny. If we do not step out in faith our children will inherit what we should have inherited. If we are not willing to step out in faith we will remain in dry and desolate place instead of inheriting a destiny of a land flowing with milk and honey. Pastor Todd speaks to us a message of hope and challenge. He shows us how we can know that God is on our side.

There are 9 Prophetesses called out in the Bible. Deborah is named in Judges as one of these and was also a judge over Israel. She was not a traveling prophetess seeking followers. Judges 3 tells us that She stayed in one place near Ramah and Bethel. People came to her seeking her judgement because she heard from God. She heard from God and told the leader, Barak, to raise up 10,000 men to go up against their enemy and God would give them into his hands. Barak honored her calling on her to join him at the battle. Deborah was honored by God as He spoke through her to judge and lead His people. Pastor Todd teaches us about a powerful woman of God who was second to none. How does God feel about women in leadership? This is the message we all need to hear to understand how God answers that question.

Pastor Massey Campos teaches us today about the growth in us that comes when we are pruned by the Lord. The only way we can be transformed is if the gospel of Jesus is in us. The Holy Spirit dwells in us if we have accepted the gospel of Jesus. So pruning is possible by the Holy Spirit because He is living in us and desires to transform us into the image of Jesus. That is His job. Blessings come when God prunes us. Pruning leads to more and better fruit on the tree. A tree does not have to work for fruit. It does not achieve fruit. Fruit is the natural result of the nature of the tree. Our nature is to be like Jesus because His Spirit lives in us.

There is a period of 40 days after Jesus' resurrection when Jesus continually appeared to His disciples. During this time He teaches them the truth of what just happened. He helps them unlearn their earlier expectations of what would happen when the Messiah comes and teaches them the spiritual meaning of His own resurrection. They had known Jesus for 3 years. They knew their scriptures. They thought that they knew what they needed to know about the Messiah from the scriptures but they needed the revelation that Jesus provided over these 40 days to understand them in a whole new way. The way that they were intended. The way that revealed that Jesus had been present through all of the stories of the Jewish scriptures. The Old Testament. The truth about Jesus was always there but they lacked the revelation to understand it. Pastor Todd explains this.

John 16:13, "But when the Holy Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the Truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak and He will disclose to you what is to come." Pastor Todd reveals what this means in a world where truth is ignored and denied. He shows us the many ways where the Holy Spirit stands in contrast to the ways of the world. Transgenderism is not truth. Abortion is not truth. What the world teaches about sexual relationships is not truth.

Are you ready to carry out your productive role in the Kingdom of God where you are? Are we spiritually mature enough for what's next. Pastor Todd leads us in an exploration of where our enemy, Satan, hides in our belief systems. In this message he talks about how anger can become a stronghold or fortress in our lives based on what we believe about ourself and our circumstances. Everyone experiences anger. There is a righteous anger and an unrighteous anger. Unrighteous anger is all about us and something we believe about ourselves. Pastor Todd leads us to explore the reasons behind unrighteous anger and what we believe as a result. Finally, he leads us to recovery from the things in our heart that lead us to anger. This is not behavior modification. We need transformation. We need a spiritual house cleaning of the things in our heart that cause our unrighteous anger.

Today's message is from a chapter in Pastor Todd's book "Hide and Seek" released in 2019.
Pastor Todd leads us in an exploration of where our enemy, Satan, hides in our belief systems. In this message he talks about depression. Many people struggle with this regularly and especially during the Christmas season. Pastor Todd teaches us that depression is believing a narrative about our reality that is dismal and different than the one that God gives you. God does not give you depression. The enemy seeds a lie in our belief system that leads us to thoughts and speculations that are contrary to God's plans for us. This can become a stronghold or fortress that makes us feel powerless. This is a spiritual battle. So we need spiritual weapons to fight this battle. Pastor Todd explains this.

Jesus recognized the times and the necessity that he must go to Jerusalem. He knew His destiny. He was determined. Anything that gets in His way on his journey was a distraction. The enemy is always seeking to distract Jesus and distract us from accomplishing God's purposes. It is important to stay focused. Are we operating in a spirit of distraction that leads us away from God's plans for us? Do we recognize the schemes of distraction from the enemy? Do we see God's plans and determine to follow through on those? Pastor Todd leads us to focus on what God's has for us and for His Kingdom.

We must leave our past if we are to move into our future. We cannot move into our destiny unless we leave our history. God Told Joshua "No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. I will not fail you nor forsake you." Then we read that Rahab in Jericho says that all the men of the city are afraid of the people of God because of what they had heard about them. How strong would our faith be if we heard that our enemy was already afraid of us? God was preparing the way for Joshua and Joshua had to learn to Trust. God already knows that you will succeed before he sends you.

We must leave our past if we are to move into our future. We cannot move into our destiny unless we leave our history. As the people of Israel were leaving Egypt they were fleeing captivity but then there was change in their identity. They became the people of God moving forward into a new destiny as free people. They had to leave their history and move into their destiny. This is a type of soul change. A change in how they saw themselves. Some resisted this change while some embraced it. That resistance based on attachment to their history caused them to wander around for 40 years until that generation with their attachments died out. Only those who did not cling to the old history remained. We need to learn this lesson from the people of Israel. God moves His people and provides for them. Maybe we need to learn not to grumble and complain and stop clinging to the old ways of doing things.

Some times in our lives we just need a good "shaking" to get our attention. Sometimes we need a good shaking to get us out of the mode of thinking that we are in and into a better one. Sometimes we need a good shaking to think clearly and change the path that we are on. Shaking is God's way of removing things that do not belong like shaking a blanket to rid it of things that do not belong on it, so that things that do belong may remain. He has plans to correct the things in our lives by shaking us. It's God's way of cleaning house, of ridding our lives of the things that are harmful to us so that things that He has for us may remain. We can mistake this shaking as though God is mad at us. Pastor Todd takes us into the scripture to show us how this shaking is God's way of helping us grow into newness of life.

"Why do God's people fast?" "What does fasting accomplish?" "How does not eating somehow bring us closer to God?" "Is there a right way and a wrong way to fast?" "What should we be doing while we fast?" Pastor Todd answers these questions and more about why God's people fast.

Pastor Todd asks questions of us, "Can you trust in what the Lord says even when the circumstances say something different? " "Can you trust in what the Lord says even when its not going like you think that it should?" "Can you trust in what the Lord says even when the people around you say things that are in conflict with it?" He teaches us today how we can follow through on what God has called us to do in our lives without becoming distracted and defeated.

Have you experienced God's favor? Pastor Todd teaches us that favor has a higher value than wealth. Wealth has limits. When it runs out you lose your buying power, lose your influence, lose your position. Favor has no fixed limits. For the Christian, favor is lavished on us by God. Lavished means "to exceed a fixed measure". Favor that is lavished becomes more than your capacity. Favor is never ending. If God's favor is on us there is nothing we cannot do. Are you ready to accept the Lord's favor?

Do you notice people who seem to have favor in life in work, in money, in friendships, in marriage or in parenting? Things just seem to work out well for them in most everything they do. Or perhaps this is you. Does it seem that you experience favor? Does it seem that things work out for you when you don't know why? Favor is grace. Favor is not earned but just seems to happen. Pastor Todd explains what the real difference is between grace and favor and how God's grace and favor work in our lives.

Pastor Todd's message today brings tremendous hope and clears up confusion about how God predetermines. So many folks believe that their past determines their future. They might say, "if you knew my history you would know that God could never use me." and also "I made my decisions about my future based on my situation today." God says, "I'm not looking at who you are today. I already know who you are going to be tomorrow." Pastor Todd says, "Please, please grab ahold of why God is excited about you. He knows what you don't know. He knows who you are going to be. He's not worried about who you are because He is going to get you where you need to be. "

Pastor Todd asks "Have you ever searched for your keys only to discover that they were right in front of you?" He talks to us today about things that are right in front of us that we may not see. There are mysteries in front of us that have not been revealed yet but when they are we wonder why we didn't see them before.

Have you been wanting more direction from God in your life? Perhaps you have been asking what is God's plan for my life? Is there a greater call on my life that I have not seen? Are you somewhat frustrated that you are not being used? Is there something wrong with me? Pastor Todd addresses these questions today and teaches us about how the Holy Spirit calls and directs His people, and what the process of the call becoming reality looks like.

Today our assistant Pastor Massey Campos will be speaking with us about Speaking Life. This has become an integral part of our culture at Revive church. This really is the way that Jesus and the Holy Spirit operate. As we follow Jesus we will find that it should become normal to speak life to everyone we meet.
Do you want to know how to pray more powerfully? If God already knows what we need, then why do we have to ask Him to meet our needs? Is there a connection between asking and receiving even though God already knows what we need? What is the connection between faith and prayer? Is there a connection between the words of our mouth that reveal our actual faith? Is the strength of our faith revealed in the confidence of our words? Pastor Todd teaches us today how to pray powerfully with words from our hearts. He shows what happens in heaven as our prayers rise up to the altar.

One of the greatest threats to the faith of believers is the question, "Why hasn't God answered my prayers?" This can lead to discouragement and frustration and doubt. We may wonder, "what have I done wrong that God is not answering my prayer?" Is there some kind of sin in my life that is causing God to hold back from me? We may begin a blame game on ourselves, on God, on the process and this can lead us away from God. Pastor Todd shares with us today what is really going on. Has God refused to answer? Or is the answer only delayed?

Today, Pastor Todd teaches from His first book, Hide and Seek: Lies that Hide in our Belief System. There are lies that we believe. We don't know that they are lies. They are simply untruths that we've been taught to believe that are hiding in our belief system. Since we operate out of what we believe we may be operating out of lies. Since we don't recognize them as lies it's possible for us to live according to those lies for years. Join us today to find out how to discover and combat these lies and change the outcomes of our actions and decisions.

Pastor Todd shares with us today one of the biggest misunderstood concepts in the Bible. It is the difference in behavior modification vs. transformation.
Behavior modification is when we try to stop the patterns of destruction in our lives by changing what we do. Too often this leads to failure and frustration as we repeatedly do the things that we have tried not to. Transformation, however, is when we change the reason for the patterns of destruction in our lives, and the result is, it changes what we do. This leads to change from the inside out and to success walking out a healthy, positive, Spirit filled life.

Today, Pastor Todd teaches us on another misunderstanding of a fundamental of the Christian faith. Why I am not a sinner saved by grace? How do we, as Christians, relate to sin? What does God do with our sin after we are born again? 1 John 1:8 has lead us to an incorrect understanding of our sin. Pastor Todd explains this and it will bring peace to our lives.

Today, Pastor Todd teaches us on another fundamental of the Christian faith. Why was Jesus crucified? What does it mean in Romans 4:25 that Jesus was "raised because of our justification."? "If the point of the crucifixion was so that Jesus could pay the price for our sin? Why, then, did he have to be resurrected? " What is justification? Pastor Todd explains clearly why Jesus had to be resurrected and what that means for us.

Today, we have a special treat. Our associate Pastor, Massey Campos, will be bringing an important teaching from the Word of God for the body of Christ. Biblical Correction. This has been a difficult and very misunderstood topic in the history of the church even up to today. Pastor Massey says, "If we do not do this correctly, it quickly becomes criticism. Correction brings people to redemption. Criticism just points out errors. If we don't change that we lose the nature of the church. We are not here to fault-find or correct. We are out to help each other get to righteousness, get to Christ. "

A tough message brought to us in love. We need planners and organizers but some people need to control. Pastor Todd holds up a mirror for us from the Word of God. When Martha comes to Jesus to get Him to tell her sister, Mary, to help her set up their meal, Jesus essentially says "No". Why does He do that? Perhaps there is a different perspective to what we believe about Martha?

Pastor Todd points out that so often when people speak about being healed, many people react skeptically, wondering if they were really healed. Are you a skeptic about healings? What about the miraculous? Is your automatic response doubt? That skepticism can lead to a missed opportunity for revival. That doubt can lead to a missed opportunity to see a great move of God because our faith wasn't where it needed to be.

Today Pastor Todd teaches us about courage highlighting Joshua's experience. As one of 12 spies who went into the promised land he came back with a positive report that the people could go in and take the land because God promised it. God says, "I have given you this territory. I will not fail you. You must be strong and courageous." We must know the Word and listen to the Spirit. "In this I am with you." God says. There is a new marching order but it is the same as the old. "Go get the territory that I have given you." God will not fail you.

Pastor Todd explains a scripture that most of us have read many times but haven't really understood. Sermons have been preached many times in the past on this verse but have they really captured the true meaning of it? Why does Jesus say, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."? Is it because Jesus was weary from His journey? Is Jesus whining about how hard ministry is? Listen in for the answer.

Pastor Todd teaches us today about our position in Christ, our position in the Kingdom of God. These positions include Prophet, Priest and King. In the old Testament we see these roles mostly as separate. However, Jesus operated in all positions and has delegated these roles to us who are born of the Spirit as sons and daughters of God.

Pastor Todd delivers a message of preparation for persecution. He says, "What I mean by that is if you cannot see the oppression coming upon the church, you're blinded right now. And I say it kindly. I say it with kindness towards you. You're being slowly deceived if you cannot see the oppression coming upon the church. The United States is on a path of religious persecution greater than we have ever seen. "

Today Pastor Todd is talking about government. Listen, there are plenty of churches, including the churches I grew up in, that said, oh, no, no, no, we shouldn't be talking about the government in church. That's not something we need to deal with. We just need to pray. We just need to move forward.
He asks "How did that work for us, church, when it came to prayer in school, when it came to abortion, when it came to same sex marriage? When it came to separating the church from the state, that did nothing more than make the state more immoral. No offense, but we have a role to play.

Today Pastor Todd teaches us that hearing from the Holy Spirit is probably more important than we think it is. When you hear from the Holy Spirit it has a direct impact on your faith. Most of us, when we know we've heard from God, it's much easier to step out and move forward than when you're wondering if this is what He wants you to do. But when you've directly heard, now, you know you can move.

Pastor Todd reveals the meaning behind an often overlooked or neglected verse in Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians. Paul refers to our spirit, soul and body. Most of us have a reasonable idea what our body and soul are about but what about our spirit? What do we understand about that and how does our spirit work with our soul and body? Pastor Todd reveals how critical our spirit is to the functioning of our soul and body.
Pastor Todd opens the Word of God and explains the difference between the Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom. Is the goal of entering the Kingdom of God simply so that we can sit and wait for Jesus to return? Is the Kingdom of God already here? Do we have assignments from God to walk out today to expand His Kingdom on Earth?

Pastor Todd speaks on a Battle Plan for fighting back against the forces of darkness and satan. We are under attack by spiritual forces all the time. However, God has given us all we need to resist and defend ourselves, our families, and our communities. Pastor Todd opens the Word of God and finds 10 things that we have been given as believers to make us powerful and victorious in this spiritual battle. These 10 things should be front and center in each of our lives to live our lives with strength in this world.
Grab paper and pen because you are going to want to write these things down.
