Imagination Restor(i)ed: Recent Episodes

Conrad L. Kanagy

This podcast and its companion blog are the sequel or bookend to the podcast and blog "A Church Dismantled." This new series is emerging after my writing of Walter Brueggemann's biography and will focus on God's alternative imagination for the church and the world and our personal selves--the Kingdom alternative to the reality that lies in front of us. Annual subscription is 15.00 and can be ordered at achurchdismantled.com. A minimum of one podcast and blog post will appear weekly. Upon the release of each podcast or blog, you will receive the new podcast as a Buzzsprout link. In the future, Apple users and perhaps other platform users will be able to access as a private podcast and blog.

Dear subscriber, from time-to-time I will do a podcast and/or blog episode that is also heard by non-subscribers. This is one of those--this allows me to acknowledge their ongoing presence in this work and to give them the opportunity to see what they can experience more of by becoming a subscriber to the Center for the Study and Practice of Prophetic Imagination. Thank you so much for investing in this work with me. Blessings, Conrad

In this excerpt and the full version that is part of the podcast "Imagination Restor(i)ed," you will hear Jim fully identify as an Evangelical, call this a Bonhoeffer moment for a new Confessing Church, and note that we must go "neither left nor right but deeper."
