The return of the NFL DRAFT SPECIAL is here! Welcome back long-time friend and contributor of the pod Zac. Today we ran through our mock-draft, draft-day rumors, some predictions and sleeper picks, as well as some shoe-ins for the first round. This year, the draft is being held in the Motor City (Detroit, Michigan) and on top of our takes, we had some listener and fanbase insight from multiple teams including the Lions, Ravens, and more. Check out and see if your mock-draft lines up with ours as we rattled through the current draft order and listed our presumed picks for each team's respective needs. Seven rounds of glory for players from the west to the east coast and everything in between.

We kicked off our CFB content with some NCAA 25 news and then hopped into the wild world of NIL. Next we rattled off some of the rumors and word on the Transfer Portal as well as new potential CFB rules being put up for vote next week. Last but not least, we rattled off some of the spring games happening tonight and this weekend!

IT'S OVER LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! THE CFB SEASON HAS COME TO A CLOSE! Today I was joined by sir Dave to recap the national championship, "Hail to the Victors", the Michigan Wolverines. Big shout out to the South Dakota State University Jack Rabbits on winning back to back FCS national championships as well. We then transitioned into the new look of what cfb will look like next year and beyond. Full of hot takes and some jokes we wove through the transfer portal, players declaring for the draft and those returning. In the ever-changing news of cfb we highlighted NIL, our opinions, and Jim Harbaugh's thoughts. Recently the final AP poll was published, and our thoughts on new NCAA sanctions levied against FSU, a resurgence of a lawsuit levied against Jalen Carter and the University of Georgia Athletic Association, and more on tap. Last but not least wanted to thank all the fans, contributors/guests and this family for another great season! Looking forward to making more content over the next few months and CFB offseason with a Saban special and much more in the works!

IT IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!!! THE CALL IN EPISODE OF THE PODCAST IS HERE. Before we jumped into our avid callers and contributors we recapped the final bowl games of the year including Michigan defeating the Tide in a Rose Bowl for the ages and Washington edging out the Longhorns for that sweet Sugar Bowl victory. Next we dove into CFB player news and some breaking stories throughout the land. We also went through our games of the week with Chew's and the AI's picks for the FCS national championship on Sunday and the FBS national championship Monday night. Last but not least we had our call in feature with this great family and community!
BOWL GAME MADNESS IS COMING TO A CLOSE; the semi-finals and national championship are rapidly approaching. In today's episode we ran through some of the scores and stats from the past week or so of bowl games including a brawl to end the 68 Ventures Bowl, USF shutting out Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl, Bobcat palooza, and more. Next we jumped into the full story of FSU challenging the legitimacy of the ACC grant of rights agreement in court and the aftershocks facing the cfb world, a continual dip in the transfer portal, as well as a playoff preview between the teams and some insight on the semi final matchups. Last but not least we had our games of the week wrapping up the final games before the natty along with my picks and the AI's picks!
2nd week of Bowl Game Madness is upon us! We started off today recapping some scores from the 1st week or so of bowl games with a big slate upcoming this weekend. Next we transitioned into the coaching carousel, transfer portal, and heard some of Chip Kelly's ideas for the future of CFB; as well as words from Nick Saban and Hugh Freeze. Early National Signing Day period ends today with CFB giants leading the top of recruiting as well as some "falls from grace" for other programs. We mentioned some key commitments as well as some flips that have rattled the scene including Dylan Raiola and KJ Bolden. Last but not least, we divulged into FSU's emergency meeting taking place today to decided if they will break away from the ACC and the likelihood of that occurring. To close today we rattled off countless bowl games along with mine and the AI bot's picks.

We kicked off today's episode with a recap of America's Game and the stats from Army's decisive win over Navy. Next we highlighted the winners of CFB hardware from the past weekend including Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman, Kalen Deboer winning Coach of the Year, etc. The transfer portal and recruiting was our next stop where key players look to make power and money moves; also word on players returning for another year or deciding to declare for the NFL draft was included. To wrap up our news we highlighted the state of Florida not going gently into that good night, FCS, D2 & D3 playoff and championship details. Last but not least we discussed our games of the week commencing the 2023-2024 bowl season along with Chew's and the AI's picks.
THE FINAL CFP RANKINGS HAVE DROPPED, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND HAS ENDED. In this special episode of CCT we recapped some scores and stats from Washington's 2nd W over Oregon this year, the Tide rolling in Atlanta, and FSU inking out a win over Louisville. Next we mentioned the results of the other conference championships and the final rankings of the CFP poll. We discussed, dissected, and heard arguments on both sides of the aisle on the Bama vs FSU (playoff robbery). After we mentioned some of the "playoff snubs" throughout the years, the Heisman finalists, as well as a new proposal for schools to directly pay college athletes. The transfer portal made its return with record numbers and big names hitting it day 1, along with some scheduling news for the lonesome PAC 2. Last but not least we divulged and highlighted the FCS, D2, and D3 playoffs followed by the Games of the Week and Chew's picks vs the AI's.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of all ages, the CFB regular season has come to a close! It is now Conference Championship Weekend! Today we recapped some of the games from rivalry weekend and went around the world of CFB with victories coming for Michigan 3 years straight in THE GAME, Ole Miss with an Egg Bowl W, Kentucky shocking Louisville, Utah St in a 4OT thrilling W, and much more. In our news segment we highlighted the end of the SEC on CBS and Pac-12 after this weekend, the last CFP ranking before Selection Sunday, my Heisman trophy finalists, and a return of the ever-changing and raucous Coaching Carousel. Last but not least we had our Games of the Week including my picks vs the AI's as well as my playoff predictions.

We then took a deep dive to highlight more of the Michigan saga as well as a look into the biggest game of the year between Ohio St and Michigan. Last but not least, we discussed the games of the week followed by my picks and the AI bot's picks.
WE ARE BACK AND LIVE WITH CCT!!! Another weekend of college football is here. First we must pay our respects to the games of week's past and to the victors go the spoils. We also took a spin to recall some of the scores from around the sport with UCF thrashing Oklahoma State, UNC edging out Duke in OT, Illinois beating Indiana in a border state rivalry, and much more. Our thoughts on the continuation of the Michigan cheating saga as new information comes to light; next we realized that getting fired as a head coach is all too common and very lucrative (p.s. ask Jimbo Fisher). We highlighted some stand-out ballers from the past week and then gave my 2 cents on the playoff picture and what madness could occur. Week 0 is 8 days away, and we discussed some earth-shattering CFB news with conference realignment and the swan song for the Pac 12, Northwestern's rampant hazing culture, Coach Prime's health and the Buffaloes expectations, and much more. NFL DRAFT SPECIAL!!!!!!!! Today we have a treat and a special guest with our good friend of the pod Zac. We have insight for the mock draft fanatics, the sleeper picks, late bloomers and blue chip prospects. All of your NFL draft needs here with this episode of CCT. First we discussed the history of the draft and how it as evolved, the origins of "Mr. Irrelevant", and a little insight on the great city of Kansas City where the draft is being held this year. Next we dove into the current draft order and addressed the needs of each team follow by a little mock draft and best fits for each respective team. From FCS standouts, to SEC monsters, and lesser known talents, we turned over every leaf and had one hell of a time!

Then there was the discussion on the sad state of my bracket as well as a majority of everyone else's and the 1st time Final 4 appearances by San Diego State University, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Miami. Lastly we discussed the Final 4 games and some predictions for the natty.

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE! CCT is up and live with some offseason news and excitement! Tons of coaching hires and stops on the coaching carousel including Josh Heupel getting the bag, Harbaugh back in Ann Arbor next season, etc. More transfer portal craze, draft buzz, and player news with Stroud and Ringo declaring, while Taulia Tagovailoa and Tommy Eichenberg are running it back for another year; and of course the Mailman getting busted in Dallas. On a more serious note, wishing nothing but love, prayers, and well wishes to Athens, GA and the Dawgs with the deaths of Devin Willock and Chandler Leroy; they will both be missed dearly. We also recapped some NIL inspirations and blunders: including the $1.3 million asked at Bama and the Jaden Rashada fallout. Additionally we discussed the buzz in Boulder with Primetime Deion Sanders flipping another #1 CB recruit, his year ahead, and the Bethune Cookman saga with Ed Reed. Last but not least we recapped that this upcoming 2023-2024 college football season will be the last of an era before major overhauls dealing in playoff format, conference alignment, and most of all new network deals!

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END! The college football season has concluded with the FCS National Championship this past Sunday and the FBS National Championship this past Monday night. Hats off to both the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and the Georgia Bulldogs on their victories. An absolute dominant showing by both teams, SDST with their first natty in program history and Georgia capping off a historic run with back to back national championships. We discussed some of the records and stats put up by Georgia this season and in the game, what a Cinderella story for Stetson Bennett and what Georgia has accomplished in the past 2 seasons. We also paid our respects to the Horned Frogs and Max Duggan and the historic season for TCU and the personal adversities and accomplishments in his career. In our college football news segment we mentioned NFL rumors and NCAA violations for Jim Harbaugh, transfer portal and some key players returning next year, General Booty and his NIL deal, the absolute dominance of the SEC for the past 17 years, and much more. Lastly we recapped how I did with my Bowl Game picks and Weekly picks throughout the year with some totals and percentages.

BOWL GAME MANIA HAS COME AND GONE! We discussed the playoff semi-final games and Tulane's big W over USC in the Cotton Bowl. With part of our Bowl Game recap we mentioned Tennessee defeating Clemson in the Orange Bowl, Iowa shutting out Kentucky in the Music City Bowl, Penn State with a dominant Rose Bowl victory and more. Jumping into our College Football News segment, we corrected some of the things I mentioned last week with a recap of the Big 12's playoff appearances and Ws, how the new 12 team playoff will be structured, a look into what teams by conference have made the playoff, their wins, and the different champs throughout the years, we divulged into the transfer portal once again and the potential of Jim Harbaugh going back to the NFL. Lastly we outlined the National Championship Game for this Monday night followed by my pick!
WHAT AN ELECTRIC CALL IN EPISODE TODAY! This week we discussed some of the prior week's bowl games including Middle Tennessee edging out San Diego State in the Hawaii Bowl and the battle between Kansas and Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl. With some scores we recapped a few of the many bowls including the Buffalo Bulls ending their season with a bowl victory over Georgia Southern, Duke with a stunning W over UCF, Texas Tech University with an absolute stomping of Ole Miss, and much more. In our college football news we dove into some of Dabo's thoughts on NIL and Clemson, the Austin Aune story, UTEP basketball coach Joe Golding and the selfless caring act of helping 3 Pitt players this past week, Florida's DL Chris McClellan's thoughts on players transferring out and Billy Napier's vision going forward, etc. We then ran through the remaining bowl games up until Jan 2nd followed by my picks! We mentioned Oregon TE Cam McCormick and his supa-supa-supa senior eligibility, Miami (OH) honoring Mike Leach on their helmets, additionally one of his kind-hearted acts before his passing. The record breaking performance by Frank Gore Jr and an uproar involving military servicemen and women over potential professional sports opportunity before required service. Last but not least we talked about our bowl games of the week along with my picks for each!

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND HAS COME AND GONE! We dove into USC stunning loss in the PAC 12 Championship to the Utah Utes, TCU losing a heartbreaker in OT, and the Green Wave of Tulane winning the AAC Championship. With our Close Ws and Notable Ls we discussed the Buffalo Bulls pull a nail-biter over Akron 23-22 to go bowling this year, Fresno State upset Boise State in the Mountain West Championship, the Dawgs take care of LSU and wrap up their regular season with an SEC championship, etc. NEWS FLASH: 1st CFP without Alabama or Clemson, a sneak peak at Army's uniforms for this Saturdays game against Navy, the continual transfer portal chaos, Primetime Deion Sanders taking his talents to Boulder Colorado, the coaching carousel on overdrive, Will Rogers an absolute class-act again, and much more. I held myself accountable and recapped my playoff and conference championship predictions set from earlier this year to what actually transpired. As always we had our game of the week followed by my singular pick for America's Game. Last but not least we discussed the heisman finalists and the frauds of the bunch.

WEEK 9 IS HERE! Week 8 is behind us, but were there some twists and turns. We recapped Clemson coming back and defeating Syracuse to stay undefeated, Oregon slaying the last unbeaten team in the Pac 12 UCLA, and more. With our Notable L's and Close W's segment we rattled off some games including, LSU dominating an unbeaten Ole Miss team in Death Valley, Duke putting a whomping on Miami, Stony Brook University getting their first W of the season over Maine, Utah squeaking one out against Washington State last night, etc. Breaking news in CFB dealing in great displays of class and heartfelt moments in the Bama vs Mississippi State game, KJ Henry trolling Syracuse's star running back Sean Tucker on twitter after the win, Lane Kiffin stirring the pot right before their game against Texas A&M, the first College Football Playoff Rankings coming out this Tuesday November 1st and that's just the beginning. Lastly we circled some must see games this weekend along with Chew's signature picks!

WE ARE BACK AND LIVE READY FOR WEEK 8 OF THE CFB SEASON! We ran through the wild weekend of upsets and thrillers including Tennessee defeating Alabama for the first time in 16 years, Michigan rolling through Penn State in the Big House, and Utah capping off a hallmark victory against the USC Trojans. Hopping into our Notable L's and Close W's, the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina suffer their first defeat of the season to Old Dominion, Notre Dame falling to a lowly Stanford team, Syracuse cruising to 6-0 for the first time since the 1980's etc. In the ever-so changing world of CFB news, we discussed how it was a bad weekend to be an undefeated team as 6 giants fell from grace, a dive into the Tennessee-Alabama rivalry and the aftermath in Knoxville, a huge NIL deal for Shedeur Sanders with TB12, the two tragic deaths of Mississippi State OT Sam Westmoreland and San Jose State RB Camdan Mcwright, a history lesson on the Dakota Marker Rivalry, and some news on a potential push for college football expansion sooner then 2026! To cap it all off we discussed some of the must-see matchups in CFB this weekend followed by my picks!

We started off discussing the prior weekend of CFB action with Alabama holding on for dear life and defeating Texas A&M at home, UCLA staying undefeated with their statement win over Utah, Texas beating the brakes off Oklahoma in the RRR, etc. With our Notable L's and Close W's we had Florida State lose a tight one to NC State 19-17, Illinois defeat Iowa in a battle of field goals, Kansas State hold off Iowa State by 1, etc. Jumping into the wild world of CFB we mentioned the "out for season" news with Kansas's QB, a legend of Texas A&M not happy with their last play of the game that came up just short, Shane Beamer keeping his receipts on Mark Stoops and dancing off into the sunset, a Tennessee wide receiver's whacky road to Knoxville and much more. We highlighted some fierce matchups of a historic weekend along with my picks. Last but not least we had another taste of College View on College Football (CVCF) with my good friend Sam, the head Osprey himself!

WEEK 2 OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL IN THE BOOKS! In today's episode we discussed the shock and awe of last week's games including: Alabama's narrow victory in Austin over Texas, ITS GREAT TO BE A VOLUNTEER 2-0 after the win for Tennessee over Pitt, BYU with a stunning victory over the Baylor Bears in overtime and much more. We highlighted the ferocity and greatness of the Sun Belt Conference handing Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Nebraska all noteworthy L's and jumped into some fascinating CFB news. The Longhorn's wild spending spree for recruiting, a tale as old as time in the canning of Scott Frost, a change of time for the this season's National Championship on January 9, 2023, a historic start for the state of North Carolina in CFB, etc. We also dabbled in some games of the week to tune into with some of my picks as well. WHAT A WILD WEEKEND OF CFB ACTION, WEEK 1 WAS NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT! We had games of all shapes and sizes from Thursday to Monday. We discussed the dominant thrashing the Dawgs gave the Ducks, Anthony Richardson carrying Florida to a victory in the swamp, the Buckeyes holding off the Irish and much more. We dove into the CFP's decision to expand the playoff to 12 teams and what that could look like going forward, along with Narco by Timmy Trumpet becoming a fan favorite not only in Queens, NY but around the country. Last but not least we topped it off with some of the must-see games of the week with my picks as well (hoping to stay hot, I was 6-6 last week). Wrapping up BOWL GAME MANIA!!! (8 months later) We discussed the tail end of the college football season with the cherry on top being the national championship! We recapped the fiery New Years 6 games with a barn-burner of a shootout in the Rose Bowl, both dominant performances in the semi-final games, and other great bouts and traditions including the mayo bath for Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks. Last but not least we finally addressed the "DAWG" in the room and tipped our hats to the Kings of CFB: The Georgia Bulldogs.
