Need to change route
We need to minimize the usage of raw materials because the stocks of mother earth are reducing strongly. Ir we keep consuming as we do than in 2050 we need 3 time s the total amount of resources that mother earth has. Besides that the waste amount is growing and growing . Think about plastics in the sea approx. 150 million tons of plastic in the sea every year plus 5 to 10 million tons extra into the sea . Sustainability is a important issue in reducing our footprint .In the Green Deal from EU Sustainability is a very import aspect.
In the past years asset owners and maintenance used the use and replace by new strategy. The footprint on raw materials was growing and growing . Today we need to reduce the usage of raw materials so we need to repair, refurbish redesign, reuse, recycle parts and products
