BONUS PODCAST: ANUHEA'S LIVE PERFORMANCE / SPEECH at RADIANT YOU, MAUI:
On Saturday, August 31st, on the island of Maui, Anuhea performed for an empowering women's retreat at the Lumeria Maui called "Radiant You". Anuhea's concert during the dinner gala included stories and authentic messages from Anuhea's heart intertwined with the songs of her set list.
Join us for this front-row seat to Radiant You as Anuhea opens up about her journey from battling nerves to embracing the moment's beauty. She talks candidly about the essence of inner beauty, the crucial role of female support, and the profound joy of motherhood. Hear how Meili Coon's influence taught her to feel beautiful from the inside out and listen to a touching song, "True Colors / Kou 'Ano Ku I'o," that celebrates her Hawaiian heritage and cultural pride.
Moving from the serene landscapes of Maui to the bustling city of San Francisco, Anuhea shares her trials and triumphs, shedding light on the challenges of relationships and substance use. Her story is a testament to persistence and the journey of self-discovery. Experience a deeply personal recount of her struggles and victories, culminating in a heartfelt performance of her song "Fly," which captures the essence of resilience and the pursuit of dreams.
Loss and healing are significant themes as Anuhea reflects on the Lahaina fire and the personal grief of losing her father. She found solace and a way to honor her memories through music, creating a heartfelt tribute song dedicated to Lahaina and her dad with "Maui Rain" and then "Higher Than the CLouds". The performance wraps up with a lively sing-along to "Come Over Love," leaving everyone feeling uplifted and connected through the power of music.

Get ready for a voyage into the world of entrepreneurship as I take you through my engaging conversation with Meli James, the co-founder of Mana Up. Born and raised on Oahu, Meli is no stranger to ambition and hard work. She’s a connoisseur of fine wines, (with the Louis Martini 2020 being our personal favorite of the evening), and a driving force behind a top-ranked wine app on the iTunes platform. We talk about her journey, her success, and how the Mana Up Hawaii business accelerator program, now in its 8th Cohort, came to be. We also get stoked about the upcoming Mana Up Showcase at the Hawaii Convention Center, on November 8th, where I'll be performing LIVE!
As we navigate the intriguing labyrinth of entrepreneurship, Meli and I share personal stories and experiences that shaped us. We explore the vital role of authenticity and self-care in this demanding journey. Catch a glimpse into how Meli has empowered entrepreneurs, like my bestie Kimie Miner and her Haku Collective, and enabled them to scale their companies through resources, mentorship, and access to capital. How is Mana Up reshaping Hawaii's entrepreneurial landscape? Tune in to find out.
The final leg of our journey takes us through Meli's favorite concert experience and the importance of 80's and 90's music to the next generation. We also get more info on the Mana Up showcase on Nov 8th, and then the live stream on Hawaii News Now on Nov 19th, featuring Anuhea, as well as the six "artists to watch" and a few rising entrepreneurs as they present their business pitches. And don’t forget to visit the Mana Up Showcase website to enter to win all kinds of prizes, like a year's supply of Kings Hawaiian bread, a year of Zippy's, or 160,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles.
And at 26 minutes in, just when we say bye to Meli, and you think the podcast is over... we keep recording and the Patreon peeps and I kick it in the zoom room, finishing up our Louis Martini Cab Sauv, and share even more stories. I share a captivating account of my recent trip to the Meeting of the Minds in Jimmy Buffett x Parrot Heads in Paradise meet-up in Gulf Shores Alabama, watching my Vikings beat the Niners on Monday night Football on the big screen in New Orleans, and a "hilarious" incident involving my lost ID in Alabama. Get ready for a ride!

Welcome back!!
Follow me as I unpack the third season of our Just Keep Jamming podcast. I will be sharing my experiences on the challenges, successes, and the desire to create a nurturing space for my child at home, as well as for open dialogue on a podcast that is more than what it seems. Our journey together offers not only an engaging listening experience but also life lessons and a platform for mental health awareness. We'll explore the art of revisiting dreams, the joy of new endeavors, and the unexpected inspiration from unlikely places. Additionally, we'll toast to Josh Cabernet Sauvignon, our wine of the week. We'll also touch on heartwarming initiatives that have helped raise $50,000 for Maui families affected by the fires. Lastly, we'll groove to the 'song of the week' from the Judds, 'Love Can Build a Bridge', as we anticipate my upcoming All is Bright Tour. So, let's hit play and jam together, celebrating the shared human experience that brings us closer.
That was written by AI! Pretty cool huh? Gonna try this out to save time until i can find an actual human co-host and editor. Taking applications ;)

Hey everyone!
It is not easy to let go of things that live in your mind. Situations that affected you emotionally, negative thoughts, past worries, anxieties, the people who came and left-- all of it takes up valuable space in there. But I wanted to learn how to truly LET THAT SHIT GO.
"Letting go" is the process of freeing yourself from obsessing thoughts and unhappy feelings.
In this episode we talk with my right besticle, Miss Kimie Miner about some tips on how to let it go. (Cue the Frozen song... Let it goooo... let it gooooo!!).
Tips for letting go:
1. Create a positive mantra to counter the painful thoughts
2. Create physical distance
3. Do your own work
4. Practice mindfulness
5. Be gentle with yourself
6. Allow the negative emotions to flow
7. Accept that the other person may not apologize
8. Engage in self-care
9. Surround yourself with people who fill you up
10. Give yourself permission to talk about it
11. Give yourself permission to forgive
12. Seek professional help
These 12 tips helped us go through our own personal blockages in letting go. Loved hearing Kimie's perspective on how this applies to her relinquishing control within her busy mom life. And I found some insight as it applied to my former-friend-drama situation, so that I can fill that empty space (or "puka" as Todd called it) with something else... possibly even something better.
This week we recommend the books

and also
• Let That Shit Go by Nina Purewal & Kate Petriw

Aloha everyone!
If you follow me, you'll know I have this ALOHA THYSELF movement, where I'm encouraging everyone to practice Self-LOVE so that they may take care of others. But what is SELF LOVE exactly, and how do we practice it?
In this episode, I link up with one of my besticles (besties) McKenna Maduli and we try and navigate the word SELF LOVE. I use an article written by Psychotherapist Sharon Martin as reference as we go through these "simple" ways to show yourself the love you deserve. I "quote" simple because we all know its easier said than done sometimes.
1, Know yourself.
2. Say “no” when you need to.
3. Don’t compare yourself to others.
4. Be truly present.
5. Know and use your strengths.
6. Give yourself a treat.
7. Be honest with yourself.
8. Let yourself off the hook for your mistakes and imperfections.
9. Work on forgiving yourself for the bigger stuff.
10. Accept that some people won’t like you.
11. Make fun a priority.
12. Practice gratitude.
13. Write down your successes.
14. Feel your feelings.
15. Take good care of your body.
16. Pursue a hobby.
17. Stand up for yourself.
18. Write yourself a love letter.
19. Ask for help when you need it.
20. Speak kindly to yourself.
21. Surround yourself with people who treat you with kindness and respect.
22. Allow yourself some downtime.
Hope you loved this episode as much as I did! Don't forget to ALOHA THYSELF!

In this unique Just Keep Jamming episode, we talk with Neuro-Linguistic Programming master practitioner and Self-Talk Engineer Charles Woolfork about how he helps people drop the "baggage" of negative emotions and limiting beliefs by using his amazing techniques!
🧳Longtime AnuJammer Michelle volunteers to have a session with Charles while we observe his systematic guided meditation process called Mental and Emotional Release. We watched as Charles helps her eliminate the baggage of "fear of judgement" by uprooting it from its source.
💡Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a system of alternative therapy intended to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication, and to model and change their patterns of mental and emotional behavior.
👁 We talk about visualization, manifesting, and just how truly powerful we all are... but sometimes the baggage just gets in the way! Are you ready to drop your baggage? 😉🧳

In this episode of Just Keep Jamming, I get to talk to one of my dear friends and band mates Mr. Sioeli Tameifuna, aka Swells OC. We find out how he got his start in the music scene, and even get to hear a snippet of one of his new jams. The podcast continues as we talk about alcohol in the music industry, and men's mental health. Is there a stigma against men talking about their feelings? Swells wants to squash that. So do I. Since Swells has to get back to the studio, I wanted to finish the podcast by jamming a few songs. So I play Shoulders, Just Keep Jamming, True Colors, I Just Want You Around, Sweet Thing, Island Inside Me, Fly, Don't Know Why, and Walk on Water. Stay tuned after the closing credits, cause we get to chatting and I give a little breakdown of my new tattoo at the very end. Aloha always, Anuhea

But we jump back into positivity and recap her stories of starting her own businesses. From making bags from repurposed and vintage materials, (Genuine Guava) to now a self-care body care line called Guava Mama, to even achieving her dream of writing and publishing her own children's book-- Kawehi shares how she didn't let hearing the word NO stop her. By doing what she wanted, making her own lane, and staying with what she's passionate about. We finish up our podcast by playing two truths and a lie ;)

Life's Purpose:
A life's purpose statement is a brief description of how you are led to make a difference with your life. I have been extremely inspired by this exersize, and I want to help others to find theirs. Your life's purpose can change throughout your life, as we are always changing as people, but having this written down to revisit daily and reassess if you feel your heading in the right direction is sooooo awesome.
Here's how you can create your life's purpose statement:
Choose an word in the following categories that you identify the most with:
Physical (ex: beautiful, graceful, powerful, strong) Emotional (ex: enthusiastic, loving, sincere, spontaneous) Mental (ex: accepting, charismatic, determined, honest, independent, successful) Spiritual (ex: balanced, centered, limitless, unique)
When writing yours, remember these guidelines:
Now put it into a pretty little package:
I am a ___(physical)_____, __(emotional)______, __(mental)____, ____spiritual)____ woman/man, person/alien/etc) FOREVER and my life's purpose is _____________.
Here's mine: "I am a beautiful, open, effective, authentic woman forever, and my life's purpose is inspiration.

Loved getting to talk with my (beyond) bff Kimié Miner for this episode! 🤩
After 2 espresso shots, and a quick Patreon-only tour of my new digs, we connect on something I've been struggling with big time lately: building a strong team for my businesses. My problems of 1. not liking to ask for help, 2. not knowing HOW to ask for help, and 3. thinking I can just do it better myself are all BAD for team building! LOL. How does my successful mom-trepeneur bestie do it? We'll find out some tips from Kim herself.
We also talk about all our mental health (as usual). I'll update you on my medication situation, and also hear from Kimie how she copes with pain and stress.
If you are a Patreon subscriber, then you'd have access to the Zoom room link, where you can watch our entire podcast LIVE and catch some exclusive content... like all the throwback pix I was showing from us in high school, as we re-live our glory days (lol) with some funny stories of our 16 year long friendship.

Another teary therapy sesh for your newly sober sister over here.
We reference some amazing Brené Brown quotes about BOUNDARIES and how I can apply these ideas to my slightly out-of-control life right now.
“Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others.” ― Brené Brown
"Living a connected life ultimately is about setting boundaries, spending less time and energy hustling and winning over people who don't matter, and seeing the value of working on cultivating connection with family and close friends." ― Brené Brown
"When we fail to set boundaries and hold people accountable, we feel used and mistreated. This is why we sometimes attack who they are, which is far more hurtful than addressing a behavior or a choice." ― Brené Brown
"I'm never more courageous than when I'm embracing imperfection, embracing vulnerabilities, and setting boundaries with the people in my life." ― Brené Brown
I talk about anxiety and how my anxiety caused me to lose a big money contract I had set up for the entire year. But realizing that I didn't really want it anyway, cause I'm putting energy into what MATTERS :)
We also talk about former star UH Quarterback Colt Brennen and his tragic death on Tuesday. :(
UGH!
I also talk about my songs "Here I Go Again" and "Walk on Water". Go to the official Just Keep Jamming spotify playlist to listen to the music i talk about on the podcast.
Have a listen, and JOIN ME ON PATREON for $10 a month to hang out with me before and during in the LIVE RECORDING of this podcast, and also to get access to the accompanying video with accurate CAPTIONS along with other visuals for all my Just Keep Jamming podcasts.

A perfectly imperfect recap of the who, what, where and why I'm doing this.
Recap of my mothers day madness, losing my shit on stage (thank God just sound check) and my first shows as a sober person. Med free tho? This is a lot for me.
Figuring it all out, slowly but surely.
Thanks for listening! Follow me on Patreon for behind the scenes stuff!
Aloha always,

🌚 Yup- it’s time for some big changes! I just launched a Patreon account! What the bleep is that, you ask? Well listen up to learn more! It’s basically a way for me to share ALL aspects of my artistry and energy with people who care- people who appreciate it. I’ve wasted my energy for far too long and I want to protect it, and inspire others to do the same.
✨ I'm also starting this new podcast called “Just Keep Jamming”. I'll record new episodes every Tuesday! I’ll talk about pretty much anything I want to: mental health, addiction, my spiritual journey, Hawaii living, motherhood, music, feel good stories, embarrassing stories, I might talk story with a special guest, talk sports, jokes, jam songs, whateva. Just keeping it real while maintaining the aloha, but in a new and improved package!
If you want to subscribe to the BEHIND THE SCENES livestream video of the podcast, visit my Patreon page and subscribe! Otherwise you can catch the audio of "Just Keep Jamming" on all major platforms.
I’m in the thick of a soul searching odyssey right now. 2020 was rough AF and I am shaking it all off for a better version of myself.
