Stranded in the ocean with only basic items. You find yourself stuck on a raft, lost far from any sight of land. A shark encircles the tiny bit of timber you've managed to climb onto. Luckily you've held onto the one thing that can keep you from a deathly demise. Your handy man builders guide. Debris starts to appear in sight as use a makeshift hook to reel items in. Slowly your raft starts to take shape as you expand on your new found home. Your immediate future is unclear and surviving is the number one goal, keep your character alive by collecting items, fishing and defending your base. While this is a solo play through. You and your friends can try to survive the treacherous waters in The Raft.

Indie developer Devolver Digital have made a name for themselves in the gaming world for their over the top onstage presence. Held yearly, E3 conventions draw massive attendance from fans and press from all over the globe . Competing with some of the bigger names in the gaming industry like Microsoft and Sony. Devolver have sort out unique ways to draw attention to their IP and find their place among the top contenders. With the cancellation of E3 due to COVID. Devolver have taken the unique opportunity to use what they know to bring the convention to you.

Santa's workshop has been overrun by demons in a nightmare before Christmas themed horror game Killing Floor 2. These specially created themed maps brought out especially for the holidays puts a fun spin on what typically could be suggested as a more serious shooter . Surviving this nightmare is not easy. Expect to be surrounded by hordes at all time with most mobs being fast than you, stronger than you and have more friends than you. As more players join the game difficulty becomes increasingly higher and if your teammates die the difficulty does not change. Killing Floor 2 is an unforgiving shooter with a skill progression to make things a little easier the more you play. But don't expect it to be your saving grace. Learning how each mob reacts is the best way to stay alive. While the skill level is high the game in no way takes itself seriously. Filled with comical outfits , dances and voices lines to suit. Both contrasting effects coupled with mobs sent straight from hell gives Killing Floor 2 has a little something for everyone.

The Last of Us series centres around Joel and Ellie. Brought together under unique circumstances, surviving the outbreak to which Joel tragically lost his daughter to. Naughty dogs unbridled talent to create believable story driven games has not disappointed in the Last of Us 2. Each character gives a strong presence of relationship with one another complementing the many years of hard work from the developers. Here is one of many moments from the Last of Us 2 displaying the brilliance of their work.

What's left are the reanimated corpses of what used to be the towns inhabitants and gruesome creatures you hear about in horror story's.
Your job as a Bounty Hunter is to kill the target and claim your bounty. Amongst other bounty hunters you can hunt as a team or go it alone. Though there is only one prize so expect to be shot at, by everyone. And while stealth is an option everything makes a noise. I mean everything. Glass shards and hanging cans purposefully setup to make your job harder. Crows and rabid dogs ready to give your position away. Shots can be heard from a kilometre away. Getting to the target is one thing, killing it is another. The boss featured is a menacing Spider, too quick to react to. There's a reason I don't enter the building. Hunt Showdown is a tension building horror sandbox survival with all the potentials to be great

While the traditional quests lines in No Man Sky can yield you some much-needed cash. No Man Sky's economy system leaves a lot of room for making a profit. Within each star system, the price and scarcity of goods can wildly differ. And granted there are many ways to move around the galaxy. The Anomaly's stargate can provide access to other star systems without the need to Warp. Here is a few different options for buying and selling goods.
To aid you in your quest for richs. Here are a few ship upgrades to help increase your profits.
Inventory space is a be a big factor in how quickly you can move your trade goods. And while you can't purchase multiple ships when you don't have a freighter. Once you have one, purchasing ships while at Trade outposts and Space Stations will temporarily provide more space which you can access when your newly acquired ship has returned to your freighter.
Finally. There is a wealth of knowledge in the discovery and catalogue section of everything you've explored up to this point. It's worth taking a look.

Released in 2010 after 6 years in development. Alan Wake is a well polished, beautifully made game by Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment and in my opinion still one of the scariest physiological thrillers to date. Alan with his wife Alice retreat to the small scenic town of Bright Falls to reignite Alan's once thriving writing career. A shroud of mystery surrounds his latest crime story as Alan starts to experience horrific dreams as if read straight from his writing pad. Unbeknownst to them a sinister entity spawn from the pages of Alan's work intent on creating havoc and driving Alan into madness. Is the entity real or just in Alan's head. Find out for yourself!

While Minecraft Dungeons spawns the same playful art style as the hugely popular series. This recently released dungeon crawler by Microsoft is anything but playful. From the beginning my expectations for a "fun" RPG with friends were surprisingly squashed when I was met with endless hordes of monsters trying to keep me from my objective. The simple mechanics like dodging and avoiding projectiles were reminiscent of games from the 80's and 90's like galaga and space invaders. I found my spending hours fighting zombies reluctant to quit due to the scale of obtainable items available the more I progressed. Some items compliment each other. Offering the unique opportunity to create a class specific role to your character. Team dynamics in higher tier levels so having a healer around helps. Either go at it alone or with up to 4 players cooperative. The best thing about this game is it's FREE with XBOX and PC game pass. Game pass offers a variety of A+++ titles for a small monthly fee subscription. First time users can try it for $1.

Anthem is a rich immersive character driven cooperative third person story campaign developed by Bioware games. Released in Feb 2019, Anthem was poised to disrupt the gaming world and relinquish the tarnished image left behind by past failed titles of Bioware games. While the game fell short with critics reporting network issues and a lack of content on release which ultimately led to it's downfall. It's undeniable Anthem has an amazing cast of characters and enemies accompanied with the graphics to rival any title release today. With only a year on it's lifespan at $6 for EA game pass and $14 to own. This is well worth picking up today. This is a short introductory to the game.

Crucible is a 4v4 Team-based PVP third-person shooter and a new IP by Amazon Games. Combined with PVE elements this recently released free to play shooter is all about leveling your character, working together, and outwitting your opponents. From a first look the characters have rich, unique personalities and stand a part from one another. While there are some bugs to be fixed, a negative review this early would be too harsh a critique especially for a free to play game. Welcome to the first chapter from the series of Destiny 2. Your Initial starting in the pre-campaign area will get accustomed to the controls and mission objectives. From there you join a common area along with other travellers adapting to their new surroundings. My solo adventure was quickly met by other friendly companions on the same mission. This is fun,open and mobs are tough and overwhelming. There is one of me and 20 of them which is a welcome challenge. Look out for more content in the future.
