Now, I know the verbiage “abusive and toxic” can be used interchangeably, yet as it relates to love relationships it can appear so different. As a victim suffering from both abusive and toxic relationships, I now reflect on how those relationships has affected my mindset when it comes to finding “my person”. - When we mention dealbreakers, we are referring to the “Hard-Stop-No"! For instance, swill you date a guy/her that drinks, smokes? Does his/her work or job status a major factor? When it comes to communication-are you willing to accept a person who is present when you are together, but a ghost when not?
