this is part 3 of my playthrough of the game Prince of Persia (2008).
I continue to purify the Fertile Lands, collect Light Seeds and enjoy the occasional banters of the Protagonist and Princess Elika.
As I progress, I now encounter complicated puzzles, roaming corruption blobs. time-based platforms, and Combination Parkour
combat gets progressively harder and they are now have to be dealt with in a certain way such as Sword Attack, Magic Attack and Grab Attack.
that's all for now.
Cheers!

Prince of Persia (2008) is an action-adventure and platforming videogame. it is in no way connected to the Prince of Trilogy that came before this game, a Standalone story. Prince of Persia (2008) is a great looking game at the time of it's release, the cel-shading of the characters reminds of Okami from PS2.
this game reminds me so much of a PS2 game called ICO, great game.
The story starts with our protagonist looking for his lost donkey, Farah, Only to find and help a mysterious woman escape her pursuers. if only he knew what he is getting himself into...
I never got to finish this when I played it before due to bugs. but I think now is a great time to finish it ...hopefully. I love how noob friendly this game is.
Cheers!.

You can read about Strike Vector and my opinion about it here:
https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@demotry/strike-vector-and-strike-vector-ex-its-like-quake-3-arena-but-with-aircrafts-w-vtol-capability
I decided to play Strike Vector EX story mode because why not, I never played it before so I thought now would be a good time to play it. It was ...OK, nothing spectacular and very cheesy.
I was a bit sad to learn that I suck at aiming with the plasma rifles.
It was short enough that I was able to finish this in one sitting.
and that was it. I guess I will go find another game with a story mode to play. Do you have any suggestions?
although my computer is not really great and my CPU temps always hits 75C due to a faulty CPU COOLER. yes it's throttling down.
comment it down. so I could check. ...no horror please. CHEERS!

This is part 2 of my adventures on the story mode of the game ‘From Dust’
https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@demotry/hdhtswjd, link for part 1.
As I start to continue the story, I was presented by a ‘Chapter Select’ menu. A total of thirteen chapters and I am now playing on the fifth.
Me and my tribe arrived at the fifth level, my first impression is- “It’s deserted.” Hah!,
After I plopped down my first village, I noticed the trees weren’t growing. But I didn’t take long to find out why.
I then grabbed the totem for ‘Reflect Water’, I really don’t want my tribe to drown again. As my tribe was taking their sweet time taking it, I wondered… “This place is Desert Wasteland, why would you need—“. Underneath the sand, were vents of water…
At this point I understood why the chapter is called. ‘The Thousand Sources’. As I watch the puddle turned to a lake, and lake into a flowing river, I can’t help but notice trees growing near it. It made me… happy, and then calmness turned panic as I wonder how I would control the flow of water.
“Men cannot get across the vegetation.” But thankfully they can be buried in sand.
After making the third village, the ‘Exit’ activated and revealed itself, getting flooded.
Because I still want to get the 100% completion I took my time making more grass and trees by crafting rivers. And you know what. I enjoyed it. It was fun.
And now it was the time to leave. Using both ‘Evaporation’ and ‘Jellify Water’ God powers allowed my people to reach the exit.
It was time to move on.
“Wildfires” ...oh boy. This chapter definitely amped up the complexity of the game as it introduced three things.
The Water Tree (movable at the start)
The Fire Tree (not movable at the start)
And the ability to relocate the village (YES!)
The fire tree burns the grass near it as the water tree released stored water that flows downhill.
Death by wildfire. Hmm what if put some water tree.
Nope! Death by drowning.
The only logical strategy here is to relocate to a higher location and place the water tree at a lower altitude.
And that's mostly it for this chapter.
“Waves”, I mean it’s not wrong but… Let me show you. Before:
After:
The earth shifts~
And then me making a drain.
This chapter introduces the exploding tree.
Which combined with the fire tree, can morph non-god morph-able objects.
They’re definitely adding a twist to it. But not as amazing as the next chapter.
“HIGH TIDES” Now this... This is self-explanatory. If there’s one thing I noticed before that is VERY significant now. Is that water erosion is real. AND I LOVE IT!
Before: Me making a Land bridge.
After: Not so much of Land bridge. And I just wasted dirt! (Thankfully in this level there’s a power called Infinite Earth which makes dirt out of air)
Just look at how the sea reclaims the dirt. Love it.
Here is to show you what it looks in low tide and high tide which alternate every few minutes.
Low Tide
High tide. Reflect Water looks amazing
I love how the grass made the dirt water erosion resistant, and it was fun making an island.
Well. This ends part 2. I got to say the chapters takes more time to complete as I play along. But it’s fun and I love it.
If you made it this far. hehe. Thank you for reading. I really wanted to make better screenshots, but I just couldn't. O well, I mean there's nothing I can about it. for now atleast.

I'm starting to play another old game. 'From Dust', a Godgame from the year 2011.
If it wasn't been obvious, I love Colony Sim games, but 'From Dust' is more of a puzzle game.
In this game your task is to guide your tribe to recover the knowledge of their ancestors, the Ancients. and to not let them die as they do so.
when I play this game I am reminded of an older game called 'Populous the Beginning', that was also a fun game.
This reminds so much of Black and White, manipulating the map such as making a land bridge.
the controls definitely feels like it is designed for consoles and I really don't mind.
the goal of missions is almost always like this. activate the exit to progress to the next stage, of course you are going to complete some prerequisites.
Not everything goes according to plan tho and I have to restart the missions due to 'accidents'.
death by tsunami.
death by lava.
I'm sure I'm going to make alot of restarts in playing this game.
the screenshots didn't do much justice to the game because I was using my recording as the source of screenshots. next time I will try to take ingame screenshots. emphasis on TRY.
or maybe it doesn't matter (ingame screenshot below)
I just hope I won't get stuck and be able to complete this game.
that's it. see you on the next playthrough.

Demigod is a Real time strategy videogame released in 2009 inspired by a custom map of warcraft 3, DotA: Allstars.
this lines up with the release of League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth which were already playable in their Beta states.
the game is ambitious!, beautiful!
but so so very bad, so bad it's good!.
it never really got traction as a.) it costs alot. b.) the required computer specs is a bit high. c.) very poor launch state. d.) game has terrible controls. e.) the game balance is terrible. f.) Game pace is bad.
Demigod trailer.
the story is quite simple, the seat of God is empty and those who wants it get to fight for it.
the game is played in two teams fighting against each other with the goal of the game is to destroy the enemy team's citadel. there are two categories for demigods, Generals and Assassins.
Generals can call upon minions be it by abilities or by bodguards.
Assassins do not have access to minions but are very dangerous.
the interesting thing about this game is the ability to upgrade your team's forces.
you can also capture flags that may give bonuses such as gold income, unit spawn or statistical bonus.
and you can change the game speed for some really hilarous gameplay.
In the video above I play as the demigod Rook. it's a humanoid castle. I like the way he attacks structures. there's not much else to say really. I still play singleplayer from time to time. multiplayer works if you have people to play with.
at the very least, It's mind numbing as it being great time waster.

finally. done. did not die.
I though I was going to write "WOW GGG SERVERS ARE GREAT NOW"
BUT NO!, I almost died to due server lag.
AMAZING.
at level 70 you start to experience the grind now. and it's starts to get painfully slow.
and I'm just not cutout for grinding.
Thanks.~

uwahh.. finally it's almost over. Just one more to go.
Solaris and Lunaris boss fight might look underwhelming because it is. but because they have high damage attacks it's better to be careful.
Basilisk has this Stone Gaze, best not to get caught in it.
in Garukhan fight, take extra careful not to get hit by Kira's bleed attack. be sure to carry anti bleed just in case.
it feels good to complete act 9. just one more to go. I feel good vibes from this... Looks like my char won't RIP.
GGG servers have improved this new league.. only 2 or 3 runs that I experience a 200latency server. unlike the previous where I get them almost all the time.
next video would probably the last as grinding is not my forte. hopefully It's the last because I completed it and not because of dying in it.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/arjamwpn
act 8, one thing is evident here, Clarrisa really loves Tolman.
the map structure of act 8 is quite unique as there are 2 pathways leading up to the last location.
Yugul, the reflection of terror in the High Gardens is a surprising mini boss for it deals burst damage.
In this video I explored act 8 but only up to the act boss. I had bad experiences against Solaris and Lunaris. that I decided to stop and continued in the next playthough.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/dnkpjtsu
act 7, we learned that Greust has been possesed by Rakalesh, forcing the other members to fled to the broken bridge.
Armorless builds should be careful in the crypt, because some monsters use Etherial Knives, a physical damage based spell.
In this act we get to experience 'Mapping' to find and kill Maligaro.
It kinda sucks that we are forced to kill Greust, he may be grumpy but he protected the others from harm.
collecting fireflies is great. but I wish they just put a bottle in your inventory instead of each firefly taking inventory space.
Gruthkul is...depending on the build she can be a pain in the ass. she has this debuff that doesn't go away that increases damage taken and it stacks.
Arakaali is the main boss in act 7. should be fairly easy to beat if you a avoid the death rays and not be unlucky enough to take her barrage of poison ooze. poor Silk, poor Yeena. ANOTHER CASE OF NTR~ hahaha.
this concludes act 7. and onto act 8. I need new gear... hope I don't rip my character. the next 3 acts are pretty deadly...
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/jkfckxts
act 6 puts you back to lioneye's watch. the same town in act 1. the maps composing of act 6 is a combination of act 1 and 2.
the first thing to do here is to check your gear specially your resistances as you take a -30% to all resistance and chaos after you complete act 5.
you should be careful doing the quest in twilight strand. those flying shadow that explodes deal surprising damage.
if you didn't update your gear. you will most likely rip you character if you continue your journey on here on out.
you will also meet and defeat Tukohama a minor god. starting act 6. you will go on and defeat other gods. this will unlock the pantheon. where a defeated gods will give a certain boon to your character but you can only have 1 major and 1 minor god buff.
here you will meet the lightning imbued Brutus version 2. but if you geared well enough it would be a walk in the park ...just make sure to dodge those lightning slams.
You should also be VERY CAREFUL. in the riverways. do not go to the direction of the town of act 2. you will get attacked by a hidden hostile and most likely end your character dead. you should veer to the south to enter the souther forest.
the Act 6 boss Tsoagoth, The Brine King. not to be confused with Cho'Gath from league of legends hahaha. she kidnapped and made Nessa a mermaid and his bride.
It's kinda sad... since Tarkleigh and Nessa is implied to be together. so this is definitely NTR.
once Tsoagoth and Nessa are defeated, we enter Act 7.
cheers. see you on the next part, hopefully nothing surprising happens.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/bueqpcxd
Act 5 is the last act of the 1st half of the story.
the awakening of Kitava.
because this is the ending of the 1st half. completing Act 5 means.
you take -30% to all elemental resistance and chaos(poison)
so you better gear up and preapre 105% resistance before you end Act 5.
a good place to farm endlessly is the Chamber of Innocence. all the instances of this map is the same.
you start at the top and go counterclockwise to the end. in which case you portal out. and restart the map.
there are 2 bosses that will have a good chance to make your character dead.
these are Innocence and the Act 5 boss Kitava.
Innocense has this Bullet Hell attack in which if you fail to notice and avoid, your character will be pretty dead.
Kitava on the other hand.... all attacks deadly. the arm sweep...deadly. the bloody land dolphins... deadly.
Is Kitava really evil tho. you see. if you think about it. Kitava is called the devourer.
he devoured everything and then got locked up.
but the thing is.. when you defeat Kitava. your character take a hit in -30% resistances to elemental and chaos and another -30% when you defeat him the second time in part 2.
this leads me to believe he didn't just devour the good, but also the bad.
so when Kitava dies . the evil stored inside him is spread to the world like wildfire.
He was hungry but not evil, Chaotic =/= Evilness.
as Act5 signals the end of part 1. onto Part 2!~
Cheers.
p.s. indeed I'm just slapping the text 'part 6' on a screenshot using paint. lol.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/mlmrzukb
act3 tower of god is such a pain in the ass to climb in the early builds.
you see, Caliga, the Imperatrix stalks the 2nd floor of the lower tower of God.
in the early days. traps can multi hit. and traps where NEARLY invisible to the human eye(combining the darkness of the map.
If you opened a door and enter. and you accidentally step on one of the traps Caliga placed.
the following will happen:.
your screen will freeze (ssd where not a thing yet)
your character will get hit by the projectileS(WITH AN S) by said trap.
it deals lightning damage. and you can get 'shocked' debuff which increases damage taken by 40% flat value (stackable).
yes you pretty much die when you step on her traps.
you avoid the room she is in.
but that is is the past. now traps are obvious and not as deadly.
act4 is somewhat uneventful too. you get access to golems which are AMAZING.
there are two enemies worth mentioning here.
The Burning Man, unique monster in Crystal Veins.
when it dies, after a short duration it explodes. if you somehow got caught in the explosion, the dps debuff will try to kill you.
and the Miniboss, Piety, The Abomination.
Piety is also the miniboss in act 3. but this time she is more dangerous.
she has this Lightning Laser Beam attack that is very deadly.
she charges. then fires a continous beam of lightning then she rotates clockwise for 3 rotations.
if the laser won't kill you the corrupted blood stack will, it deals physical damage over time.
this is why before the fight you should carry an anti bleed, anti corrupted blood potion.
the act boss in act 4 is ok. just remember to destroy the hearts when he activates them.
next would be act 5. the act boss there.. if I make a mistake, chances are character will be very dead.
Cheers~
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/fdxxhcxd
not dead. yet.
thankfully completing part 1 of the trials have given me access to Raider subclass.
got myself heavystrike which what my character supposed to use.
also got myself the spin2win ability called cyclone.
from here on out. things will be faster...hopefully not dying faster.
oh and the missing first part.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=demotry/tewqwkmx
progress is painfully slow.
got myself the steelskin ability. a guard spell that absorbs damage for a few seconds. but I did not expect them to lower the duration even further.
at this point I found my double strike lackluster as a single target ability and looking how Scourge works I decided to replace it with infernal blow.
infernal blow is an attack ability where when you kill a target it explodes dealing fire damage to it's immediate area.
when monsters cluster together, they end up in a chain reaction of exploding gore.
Act 2 boss Vaal Oversoul. this guy in the beginning of the development of path of exile was THE last boss.
it was faster, hits REALLY hard. and much much scarier. now though it has been reduced to pattern based gameplay. you still get one shotted tho when you get debuffed(increase damage taken) by his laser attacks and rocks fell at the right moment at your character.
I'm just happy my character didn't die. the next part, act3 would be a gamechanger. an NPC named Siosa sells every gem up to that point of the game(depending on the character, not all gems are available at the vendor), which would fix my character build.
and of course Trials of Ascendancy. my character hits slow because I plan on picking Raider ascendancy. which would SIGNIFICANTLY speed up my clearspeed. I just hope it won't constitute to me dying faster...
