Mariam-What’s your job?
Omar-I’m a bank employee. And you what do you do?
Mariam-I’m a teacher at a primary school, and my sister is a nurse, that is, mumarida (nurse) (and she works) at a clinic
Omar-And your brothers, what do they do?
Mariam-My elder brother worked in a workshop for three years. He is a welder. He is very skilled in his work. But there is a crisis. That is, the work decreased. They decided to reduce the number of workers. He moved to another workshop, where you worked during the holidays. When you finished high school.
Omar-I thought that he was at another workshop
Mariam-No, at the same place, what do you think of the owner of the workshop.
Omar-I think he is okay, but the wages…
Mariam-Yes, that’s the thing! But my brother is comfortable there (reassured of himself there).
He works as he pleases, comes and goes whenever he wants.
Omar-yes, what more do you want? For us in the bank we must come at a specific time.
Mariam-correct, but the work is easier!
Omar-Well… all work is tiring, whatever it might be, and sometimes we have to work overtime
Mariam-And how is your salary
Omar-Not bad, Considering/ given the work. One must be content with what he has got. And any work is better than none.

Abu Fahim-Fahim is the oldest but he is short, Shorter than the second boy
Omar-What’s the second boy’s name?
Abu Fahim-His name is Nabil, he’s younger than Fahim, but taller than him.
Omar-What age is the older boy?
Abu Fahim-Fahim is 27 and Nabil is 23, that is, four years younger than his brother
Omar-And after that?
Abu Fahim-Then there are the girls, Kamle and Widad, And the last one, the boy, Hanna, he is still young, only ten years old

Khalid-is it far from your house?
Abu Fahim-No, Very near our house, right next to us.
Khalid-And your brother’s house?
Abu Fahim-His house is a little far away up on the hill

Yusef-I told you we lost the final match.
Huda-Brother, we lost Palestine, Iraq, Syria and Libya and you are sad over a match?
Yusef-Why do you interfere sports with politics?

Khalid- My brother and his wife told me that they saw you. They were in Barsha too. They wanted to visit friends.
Yusef- Yes. I’m sorry, but I haven’t seen them. Please give my regards to them. Where were you at the time?
Khalid-I was at home. We had guests.
Yusef- Who were these guests who were with you?
Khalid-People from India
Yusef- Friends?
Khalid- no. Relatives
Yusef- Was your father there?
Khalid- no. But my mother was. My father went to a restaurant in Dubai mall and brought sweets for the guests.

Khalid-no, no, That’s impossible
Omar-It’s perfectly possible, Russia has pushed Egypt towards war
Khalid-C’mon man, where is your (reasoning/common) sense? It doesn’t make any sense. Russia doesn’t want any war.
Omar-I don’t agree with you on the topic
Khalid-How? The Egyptian people doesn’t want war. Today nobody in the world wants war. Everyone wants peace.
Omar-Well, maybe you’re right (there’s rightness with you)
Khalid-okay. Anyways. I must go now. Bye (with peace)

Rahman-Just fine. Also my daughter is in school. But everything costs money now.

Rahman-The cost is books and exercise books. Every day there is a new book and a new exercise book and another...Its impossible!
Khalid-But are you happy with the school and the kids?
Rahman-Very happy with them.
