Director and Producer Karl Horstmann directed and produced hundreds of television commercials and title sequences for Coca-Cola, Under Armour, Home Depot, and major sports associations including the Olympics, PGA, NBA, NHL, Major League Baseball and the NFL. With the NASCAR documentary, THE MAKING OF CHAMPIONS, Horstmann shifted his focus to long-format storytelling. His notable credits include THE CASE FOR CHRIST, VANISHED: LEFT BEHIND NEXT GENERATION and ON A WING AND A PRAYER. In addition to Triple Horse Studios, Horstmann founded Cine Stables, a motion picture facility and equipment rental company and Hitching Post Digital, a visual effects and post-production services company.

Tim Ballard spent more than a decade working as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, where he was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and deployed as an undercover operative for the U.S. Child Sex Tourism Jump Team.

While working for the government, Ballard saw how much more is needed in the fight against child trafficking and exploitation across the world. In 2013, he and a team of former government operatives left the security of their careers to accomplish the work of rescuing children as a private foundation - Operation Underground Railroad. At O.U.R., Tim has created a team that can work in any jurisdiction and in conjunction with law enforcement to rescue children directly. That team exists today and operates all over the world.

In this interview, filmmaker Rick Altizer interviews Tim Ballard.  The movie, Sound of Freedom, follows Tim’s amazing story in his fight against child sex trafficking.  Tim shares how the film came together and how he selected actor, Jim Caviezel, to portray himself.   It’s an amazing interview about a “must-see” movie.
