Tim and Mary confront this news cycle head on as life on earth heats up – ideologically and meterologically. Here in America we expect Summer heat waves and act accordingly. Over across The Pond, not only do they seem to be in denial about the seasons, but they refuse to accommodate and prepare their citizens, leading to shocking loss of life. Why, you ask, in this day and age, would nations forego simple environmental controls? Well, if your citizens have bought the climate change lies, they might say they are willing to sacrifice now to save the planet later. In other words, thank you grandma for giving up your air conditioning AND your life so we can have cool weather later, said no offspring ever. As bizarre as that narrative is, this is how they think over in France. And that global warming really is the fault of Americans who air condition everywhere for a few weeks a year. You can’t make this stuff up, really. We also talk about supply chains, the Islamic incursion into the Midwest, and of course the Islamunists who are conquering America one election at a time. Lest we think the changes are slow and easy, today’s podcast throws all that out the window. Which is open to stay cool.

Then we take on some pretty sad immigration tales, such as Ireland, which is finding its people being replaced by the diversity of illegal immigration. When we have to ask “what is an Irishman anyway?”, it’s gone too far but no one is available currently to stop it. We also look at other dynamics of such policies, and who is Amelia, anyway? You can’t make this stuff up. Another full hour of watching the world go down the tubes, yet pointing upward to the greatest Hope of all.

While the agenda never changes, and they keep trying to pull the wool over our sheeple eyes, there is no denying that many in the world today are getting pretty weary of this sales pitch. Next on our list is the Judeo/Christian worldview and lifestyle that Americans have always enjoyed, and what has happened to obliterate it in one generation. Immigration, ideologies like Communism, Marxism, Progressivism and Islam have taken a huge toll on our freedoms and our prosperity, not to mention endless attacks on men, women and children who have to be open to being something other than how God created them. Now what? Plurality goes off the rails spiritually when a Hindu temple is erecting a 90 foot statue of a Hindu God down in Texas, still a state of the union last I heard. It’s going down so fast it seems. Then we discuss some freedoms of speech and religion that are also going the way of the phone booth – only with greatly significant consequences. Suppose God is removing His hand of protection from idolatrous Americans? Although we are not a Christian nation under the banner of salvation, we have held high the freedom, morals, and good neighborliness that love requires for our entire existence. A great hour with a superb teacher of the Scriptures, and a watchman.

We look at the exponential increase of these types of films over the last 100 years, as well as headlines that invoke fear. To what end? There are multiple answers to that question, but they do include keeping the masses fearful and in crisis mode, but also it plays right into the anticipation of the man with the answers – the Antichrist. Is there also a fear of death that these movies seem to bring actual consolation? Perhaps, since the phrase, “post-apocalyptic” is so common today, and describes those who have survived the worst and lived to tell, and renovate, and repopulate. A fascinating subject that ends with our hope, and how to spread that instead of terror. Pete Garcia is a military combat veteran and aviator, writer, researcher, speaker, and teacher of Bible prophecy and apologetics with a BA in International Relations and a graduate of the US Army’s prestigious Command and General Staff College. Mary chats with Gary Kah on this edition of Stand Up for the Truth. The idea of things going at “breakneck speed” had its origin in, of all times, the Victorian era. We get this phrase from the latter half of the 19th century, when Victorian bicycles were made of metal and had these huge, high front wheels, with the rider seated precariously on top and subject to every bump. Now, they do not look safe at all, but the larger the wheel, the faster one could go, was the motive. And the brakes, well those were more symbolic than functional and as soon as the rider hit a rut he went flying forward and landed on his head. I think that describes our world pretty well. There are no brakes in this world apparently, either. But the notion of “breakneck speed” coming from a pre-industrial bicycle is very ironic. On the table today for discussion is the UN Pact for the Future, the coming very significant election, and when all is combined, that tipping point we have all been expecting in the world. The clock is ticking.
