Me being a PC Game Lover, I just had to talk to Michael Haberl. He was one of the first developers at JoWooD back 1995 and has deep know-how about the gaming industry.
Michael Haberl is a game developer and entrepreneur. His experience is based on 21 years of mobile games development. Today he continues to work in the mobile games sector and realizes new projects with his company Playades. His view on the current development in the field of Metaverse and Blockchain Gaming is interesting. Me personally not trusting the Metaverse projects of 2021/2022 it was still interesting to talk with Michael and learn from his point of view on things. Playades licenses, distributes and publishes mobile games worldwide. They focus exclusively on alternative markets, outside of the two traditional major app stores.
The distribution network reaches over 100 different game portals and game stores in dozens of countries. I talked with him how game developers, publishers and brands reach new audiences around the globe and generate additional revenue from their games.
