Full Disclosure

Some very brave and very brilliant gay and bisexual Kiwis share their coming out stories with Karen O’Leary. There’s no right or wrong way to come out and no rule book on how to do it. It’s uncharted terrain for everyone who breaks the news to their whānau, friends, and the world at large.

Tune in to hear how Tom Sainsbury, Ali Mau, Ryan Bridge, Grant Robertson, Eli Mathewson, Cassie Roma (and many more) navigated their journey. Our guests divulge all sorts of very personal insights – the deep, the dark, and the downright funny. Who they told first and why, how their news affected their relationships with whānau and friends, and the most important lessons they’ve learned along the way.

The best thing is, you don’t need to be part of the rainbow community to listen to this podcast. Everyone is welcome, even straight people. It’s the very definition of inclusive! Because, hey, who doesn’t love a good coming out story?
