We are thrilled to welcome today’s guest, Jaspreet Bajeva, a brilliant real estate investor who quit his W2 in his second year as an investor.
Jaspreet’s first real estate investment was in four duplexes in 2017. He started a private lending business in 2018, and finally quit his W2 in 2019, living off the income generated by his investments that are spread across different asset classes through different operators. His investments include multi-family syndications, storage, warehouses, and soon-to-be Airbnb-style apartments.
Jaspreet believes in buying time by investing in deals that make sense so he has more time for himself, his four kids, and his lovely wife.

Jaspreet is the Director of Fund Strategies at Fairwinds Capital Investments, a veteran-owned and -operated company with a primary focus on providing their tenants with secure, high-quality homes. With a preference for Servicemen looking to diversify and strengthen their income, FWCI provides their partners with a shared ownership platform of low-to-medium risk alternative investments around the Southeast.
Jaspreet has a B.A. in Management Information Systems and computer engineering from Florida International University and Penn State University. He started investing in real estate in 2017, and focused on it full-time in 2019. He has executed buy-and-hold strategies and performed fix & flip operations. He has extensive private money lending experience and invests equity in cash-flow-producing properties.
He aims to maximize his time and revenue streams by utilizing various real estate investment strategies, ranging from private lending to multifamily syndications, in order to generate passive income.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University, a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from UCLA.
He started out in Construction Management in the mid-1990s with Swinerton Builders before working with Boeing as a Structural Engineer on the Space Shuttle Main Engines. Then he joined Mobile Illumination as CEO and helped the company grow by over 2000% in 15 years.
Chad has lived in Los Angeles all his life, so he knows firsthand how essential multifamily housing is in the area.

We are excited to have Ryan Gibson, Co-Founder of Spartan Investment Group (SIG), join us to share his valuable insights on self-storage investments! Ryan is currently focused on building and scaling his commercial real estate portfolio in the self-storage sector, though his start in the business world was in a different industry. He is an experienced commercial airline pilot who started his real estate journey with an Airbnb-like business called pilot crash pads. It provides pilots a space to crash for short periods between flights. In that business, he did everything from marketing, cleaning, staffing, and finding tenants.
Fast forward to today, besides being the co-founder, Ryan is SIG's President and Chief Investment Officer. Their self-storage brand is called FreeUp Storage, and their mission statement is 'Make Space for Life.' He shares that self-storage is the best-performing asset class and why it continues to be profitable. He talks about the importance of performing a demand feasibility study and understanding the area in which you're investing. Ryan also touches on optimal strategies, key considerations during the evaluation process, how to determine the ideal price point to maximize returns, and much more.
