Encounter with a Ángel, song that was intended originally for to be recorded in the first album of Overground but for inexplicable reasons left outside. It speaks of the fictitious encounter among a human being, sinner, and a vengeful angel. The emotions are varied, the stimuli, the colors and forms. Encuentro con un Ángel, canción que estaba destinada originalmente para grabarse en el primer álbum de Overground pero por razones inexplicables quedo fuera. Habla del encuentro ficticio entre un ser humano, pecador, y un ángel vengativo. Las emociones son variadas, los estímulos, los colores y formas. Todo termina en un violento acto de justicia

Elementary Quantum Particle is a very particular song inside the history of Overground. We were in the end of the process of recording of the disk Sisyphean Endeavour when I composed it. Inspired a lot in the recent interaction with the music of the Obscura band. I introduced the song to Félix Molina and Geovanni Morillo, sending them the score. They loved the song so much that they recorded it in less than one week, thing that they didn't participate me. Félix suggested me a lyric based on scientific disclosure, I consented, we discuss several ideas and arose to make compose a lyric about the Higgs boson particle. I investigated on the topic and I proceeded to create it. To the following week, in the study they played me the song recorded in their entirety. Geovanni played the drums and Félix took charge of all the strings. I had never sing the song, not even to practice it, only I had written it, imagining like the melody went. But, prepared or not, Félix connected the microphone and in a single session I recorded the voice. It was magic, if we had recorded all the songs of the album this way we are not retarded 4 years it. It was the last recording of the band and is a sample of the new ideas that we were gestating in the band. It was the primordial spark
Elementary Quantum Particle es una canción muy particular dentro de la historia de Overground. Estábamos en el final del proceso de grabación del disco Sisyphean Endeavour cuando la compuse. Inspirada mucho en la reciente interactuación con la música de la banda Obscura. Le presenté la canción a Félix Molina y Geovanni Morillo, enviándoles la partitura. La canción les encantó tanto que la grabaron en menos de una semana, cosa que no me participaron. Felix me sugirió una letra basada en divulgación científica, accedí, discutimos varias ideas y surgió hacer componer una letra sobre el Bosón de Higgs. Investigué sobre el tema y procedí a crearla. A la siguiente semana, en el estudio me colocaron el tema grabado en su totalidad. Geovanni tocó la batería y Félix se encargó de todas las cuerdas. Nunca había cantado la canción, ni siquiera para practicarla, solo la había escrito, imaginando como iba la melodía. Pero, preparado o no, Félix conectó el micrófono y en una sola sesión grabé la voz. Fue mágico, si hubiéramos grabado todas las canciones del álbum así no hubiésemos tarado 4 años ello. Es la última grabación de la banda y era una muestra de las nuevas ideas que se estaban gestando en la banda. Era la chispa primordial

In this occasion I present a cover recorded by my band Overground of the song "Centric Flow" from the German band Obscura. The musicians performers: Félix Molina in the lead guitar and the bass guitar, Geovanni morillo in the drums and my person, Orlando Cordero in the voice and rhythmic guitar. It is an incredible and long song, technical, melodic, strong, heavy. It symbolized the road and goal to continuing for the band for future recordings. It was included in the album "Sisyphean Endeavour" as "Bonus track" it is shared with a lot of enthusiasm, waiting your enjoyment
En esta ocasión presento un cover realizado por mi banda Overground de la canción "Centric Flow" de la banda alemana Obscura. Los músicos ejecutantes: Félix Molina en la guitarra líder y el bajo, Geovanni Morillo en la batería y mi persona, Orlando Cordero en la voz y guitarra rítmica. Es una increíble y larga canción, tecnia, melodica, fuerte, pesada. Simbolizaba el camino a seguir por la banda para grabaciones futuras. technique in spite of being short. It bears to execute a well-known technique as tapping, with some strings to the air, the slow tempo (contrary to what many people think, to play slow it is more complicated than quick tempos, the errors, are noticed more). Geovanni morillo played the drums and I recorded all the guitars and the bass. It was the song that more I repeated and in spite of it, was always a marginal error, a harmonic, it was impossible to recover it or to execute it better. The name of the song is due to a small called friend Alina, the meaning of the 1070 I ignore it, it is not that was a mystery. I simply forgot to ask, then we lost contact and remain as something unknown. It is one of the three instrumental songs of my band Overground, I hope that you enjoy it
Alina 1070 es una canción instrumental que a pesar de ser corta tiene una alta dificultad técnica. Conlleva ejecutar una técnica conocida como tapping, con algunas cuerdas al aire, el tempo lento (contrario a lo que muchas personas piensan, tocar lento es más complicado que tempos rápido, los errores, se notan más). Geovanni Morillo tocó la batería y yo grabé todas las guitarras y el bajo. Fue la canción que más repetí y a pesar de ello siempre quedó un error marginal, un armónico, fue imposible recuperarlo o ejecutarlo mejor. El nombre de la canción es debido a una pequeña amiga llamada Alina, el significado del 1070 lo desconozco, no es que fuese un misterio. Simplemente olvidé preguntar, luego perdimos contacto y quedo como algo desconocido. Es una de las tres canciones instrumentales de mi banda Overground, espero que la disfruten

The Antichrist is an original song of the extinct Group Power Age. It was recorded by that band in a rudimentary way in the year 1980. It was never published neither recorded in an official way. Only existed in demo. In the year 1992 Paul Gillman included the song in an unofficial cassette and he made it sound in his program radio "The Essence". This way, for first tima I listened this song, which I liked from the beginning, long, apocalyptic, raw. Further on that the sound distancing vastly of the professional soun the musical essence was dark and malicious. In the year 2006, when it was still maturing the project Overground, I decided to record a version of the same one, including it in the first version of Super Nova. It was a demo of a demo. It was not published neither sounded profusely. In the year 2014, in view of the rerecorded of the EP Super Nova was taken in consideration and it is a song of a band that never made it out a professional recording it had its premiere in the Naos Studies. From the hand of Bertrand Cape in the controls and the invaluable consultant ship of Warnis Padilla the plan it was executed. Geovanni Morillo in the drums and me recording all the guitars, bass guitar and the voice. Regrettably the rest of Overground was not able to participate in the recording due to the disturbances and street violence that happened in Venezuela in those moments. It was contacted Mr. Paul Gillman to request his permission to record this song. He didn't put objections, the song didn't have an official recording. It is shared with you, I wait they appreciate the cover
El Anticristo es una canción original del extinto Grupo Power Age. Fue grabada por esa banda de manera rudimentaria en el año 1980. Nunca fue publicada ni grabada de manera oficial. Sólo existió ese demo. En el año 1992 Paul Gillman incluyó el tema en un casete y lo hizo sonar en su programa de radio "La Esencia". Así, por primera escuché esta canción, la cual me gustó desde el principio, larga, apocalíptica, cruda. Más allá que el sonido distaba enormemente de lo profesional la esencia musical era oscura y maléfica. En el año 2006, cuando aún estaba madurando el proyecto Overground, decidí grabar una versión de la misma, incluyéndolo en la primera versión de Super Nova. Era un demo de una demo. No fue publicada ni sonada profusamente. En el año 2014, en vista de la regrabación del EP Super Nova fue tomada en consideración y es así que una canción de una banda que nunca realizo una grabación profesional tuvo su debut en los Naos Estudios. De la mano de Bertrand Cape en los controles y la invaluable asesoría de Warnis Padilla se ejecutó el plan. Geovanni Morillo en la batería y grabando todas las guitarras, el bajo y la voz. Lamentablemente el resto de Overground no pudo participàr en la grabación debido a los disturbios y violencia callejera que ocurrían en Venezuela en aquellos momentos. Se contactó al señor Pual Gillman para solicitar su permiso para grabar dicho tema. No puso objeciones, el tema no tenía grabación oficial. Se comparte con ustedes, espero aprecien el cover

For Elena it is an instrumental song from the album "Cosmic Shield Revival" 2013. Originally it was not taken into the set list to be recorded because for the moment of the recording it was not completely arranged, it only was an idea in evolution. José Rico, bass player from the band, had composed a small arrangement in the bass guitar. He intended to leave it instrumental and that was added some guitar arrangements those which, then I composed. In September of 2012 Elena Meaño dies, person to who I love a lot and whose her death marked me deeply. I made the petition of recording the song and that allows me to call it "For Elena" in homage to her. Approved the idea José recorded his part, during the recording of the guitars we accept the Sound engineer suggestions, Ricardo Vizcarrondo, and we made small arrangements, everything it in the study, without having rehearsal previously. The result is a song full with nostalgic, different melodies, a different track, a pause, a requiem for Elena

Originalmente no estaba tomada en cuenta para ser grabada porque para el momento de la grabación no estaba totalmente arreglada, solo era una idea en evolución. Song The Goldsmith, its history begins in December of 2001. I find out the tragic news, Chuck Schuldiner has died. Impacted by the death of my idol and maxim musical influence I wrote a poem that then I arranged as song lyric and I began to compose the music. The song remained sleeping and latent during many years, being used for the first time live in December 31 2011. Originally the drums of this song was recorded during the recordings of the Cosmic Shield Revival, in the 2012. But an error on my person when I elaborating the guitar tracks meant that it could not record completely. It was taken into account for their new recording in the year 2014 and it was finally edited and published in the album Sisyphean Endeavour in the year 2018. Is dedicated to this great musician's musical work, contains some paraphrased sentences of some of his more symbolic songs. Canción El Orfebre, su historia comienza en Diciembre de 2001. Me entero de la trágica noticia, Chuck Schuldiner ha muerto. Impactado por la muerte de mi ídolo y máxima influencia musical escribí un poema que luego arreglé como letra de canción y empecé a componer la música. La canción permaneció dormida y latente durante muchos años, siendo estrenada en vivo el 31 de Diciembre de 2011. Originalmente se grabó la batería de esta canción durante las grabaciones del Cosmic Shield Revival, en el 2012. Pero un error de mi parte al elaborar las pistas de guitarra significó que no se pudo grabar por completo. Fue tomada en cuenta para su nueva grabación en el año 2014 y por fin fue editada y publicada en el album Sisyphean Endeavour en el año 2018. Esta dedicada a la obra musical de este gran músico, contiene algunas frases parafraseadas de algunas de sus canciones más emblemáticas. the conqueror's l Amulet is one of the two songs in Spanish of the disk Sisyphean Endeavour. Originally written for the band Prikktor, in which participated also as musician, he/she had a different letter "Conquering the Soil" but with my exit of the band it recovers the topic for Overground with different letter. A protest for the violent cultural crash between two worlds and later imposition of the Christianity in America. A rich before Columbus America culturally whose civilization flat and erased fua. All first floor the protection of the weapons and the impulse of a totem, an amulet.
El Amuleto del conquistador es una de las dos canciones en español del disco Sisyphean Endeavour. Originalmente escrita para la banda Prikktor, en la cual también participaba como musico, tenía una letra distinta "Conquering the Soil" pero con mi salida de la banda recupere el tema para Overground con letra distinta. Una protesta por el violento choque cultural entre dos mundos y posterior imposición del cristianismo en America. Una America precolombina rica culturalmente cuya civilización fua aplastada y borrada. Todo bajo la protección de las armas y el impulso de un totem, un amuleto.

Super nova is a song with several recorded versions, already one of them has published some weeks ago, this it is the version number 3, because first it was recorded in a homemade demo in the year 2006, then in a demo something more professional in the 2008, finally we record it for our first disk in 2013. The version published previously was that of the EP. Super Nova, of date 2015. It is a very special song inside the discography of the band. Still existing a live version that was never published, the quality of the sound was low and for that reason it was not published. Without more than to add, I wait the they enjoy. Súper nova es una canción con varias versiones grabadas, ya una de ellas la publique hace unas semanas, esta es la versión numero 3, pues primero fue grabada en un demo casero en el año 2006, luego en un demo algo más profesional en el 2008, finalmente la grabamos para nuestro primer disco en 2013. La version publicada anteriormente era la del EP. Súper Nova, de fecha 2015. Es una canción muy especial dentro de la discografía de la banda. Song that describes the ecological philosophy of the band Overground. The concept that the planet is an alive being and as such it possesses an aura, a soul. It is a system that regulate and regenerates itself. The cosmic aura of the planet, that cover protector, the magnetic field is over the ground. The planet earth is a macro cosmic being and we, like part of its system, we are micro cosmic beings. The interrelation between the mother earth and the small children should be symbiotic and beneficial mutually. Musically it is a very complete song which I composed with a lot of patience and during several years, however it didn't suffer many changes through the years except that initially was longer, with a duration of more than 9 minutes
Canción que describe la filosofía ecológica del grupo Overground. El concepto de que el planeta es un ser vivo y como tal posee un aura, un alma. Es un sistema que se regula y regenera así mismo. El aura cósmica del planeta, esa cubierta protectora, el campo magnético esta sobre el mundo. El planeta tierra es un ser macro cósmico y nosotros, como parte de su sistema, somos seres micro cósmicos. La interrelación entre la madre tierra y los pequeños hijos debería ser simbiótica y beneficiosa mutuamente.
