The Mystic Shot Podcast is a weekly podcast that is centered around the online card game Legends of Runeterra. Each week we bring you up-to-date news, talk about the meta, bring on special guests for interviews and have a blast talking about the game that we love. We are also getting into other card games now so stay tuned for that as well!
In this episode Doughy and I go over the patch notes. We give out thought mostly on the new changes coming to the rules of the game. Also how Runeterra needs PBE and last but certainly not least the Championship Tournament that happened on April 26th and how to enter the next one in May. Thanks everyone for listening!

Hey what's up guys its Wetheppls here bring you episode 45 of the Mystic Shot Podcast, Welcome! In this episode I am joined by Doughynut this week to talk about patch 2.13 and all its glory. Amazingly Riot added more to Lab of Legends in the patch. The new game mode is called The Saltwater Scourge. It takes place in Bligewater by what it looks. You pretty much deck build thru a dungeon crawl map. That you add different champions, spells or followers into your deck to then fight a boss and win. It looks really fun and I can't wait to try it soon. Next we start talking about the Roadmap for the next sets that are coming out. After that we discuss the main subject of today. The fact that the 10th and final region is join Runeterra. This will be Bandle City. I think a lot of people saw this coming but, wanted it to be something else. I mean its all good to me and Doughy so we then start talking about different concepts that could be coming to the game. Like Duel regions or even Duplicate Champions also coming to Runeterra as well. We look forward the game getting

In this Episode we go over the 2.11.0 Patch notes. Its long because this was the big patch that changed a lot of cards. Mostly buffs tbh but some nerfs to decks that needed it. Then after we talk about that we then get into some of our "Hot Takes" on the previews. Honestly its funny to look at it now and see how wrong you was about whatever you was saying. Hey what's up guys Wetheppls here with episode 40 of the Mystic Shot Podcast, sorry for the late upload. My work schedule just drastically changed and now I work mornings so, its hard to record, edit and upload the podcast the next day. I will work on it for sure so we can get a more consistent schedule so, you guys know when we are uploading to tune in. In this episode we just go over the pool party skins, emotes and new board we got with the new patch. All the skins look and feel amazing especially the new level up animation we got for Taliyah. Then after go over that we talk a little bit about the meta and how stale it still is because of the circle of 3 decks that cover the meta pretty much. It really sucks when a meta is wrapped around pretty much 3 decks only because each counter the other. A meta like that really sucks and Idk if that's what we can call "healthy" for Runeterra but hopefully things get better in the future. I just want everyone to know I will never talk down or say the Devs are not doing there jobs because game balance is hard and easy to mess up. Also balance is in the eye of the beholder and up to this point I believe the Devs have done a good job and should keep it up. What's going everyone this is episode 39 of the Mystic Shot Podcast, Welcome everyone. In the episode we bring out a special guest by the name if Mulligan. Swurv and I(Wetheppls) is also there as well, lol. He goes over his TCG history in how long he has been playing card game. Then giving us his first card game as well. What's going on everyone episode 36 of the Mystic Shot Podcast here welcome. In this episode we invite Void from OTK club to talk about some of his background in the LOR community. He goes over his story a little from top 32 last season. Then tells us about the beginning of the OTK club and how that started. Then we go in the main subject this week which was a hot one. If Irelia/Azir deck needed to be nerfed. Everyone give their thoughts about the deck as a whole. I think we all agreed it was a good deck that is oppressive and how the player base saying it op doesn't really explain the full story to riot. Also how maybe next time we should pick our words better as a community, so riot can understand what we mean. After that we go thru some potential nerfs to the deck to slow it down like dais to 3 mana or sparring student becoming a 0/1 and only growing on attack. What's up everyone, this episode 34 of the Mystic Shot Podcast. On the episode we bring on Sqweeby to talk about his experiences in the tournament and also dealing with the time problem. This is a real problem and Tbh till now I think no one really knew how the timer worked and if it was something that could be exploited to get free wins. Once we all talk about how strong Aphelios is we talk about the difference of broken and just strong. Which we all agreed that Aphelios is just a really strong champ. Then we talk about probable nerfs and that's was it for this episode. We are trying to make the episodes smaller so its earlier to watch and listen to what we are saying. Welcome t episode 9 of the Mystic Shot podcast. In this episode we go over the meta and how it is completely diverse at the moment. We also go in depth with talking about how there needs to be more reason to want to climb the ladder. Meaning more rewards and incentives master's players would get that maybe other players wouldn't. We also talk about the mindset you have to have to start the climb. At the moment its all about time management and having enough time to play. There really is no system to give you more or last LP for winning so get multiple wins in a row is good but not necessary to climb. In this episode we talk about the new patch that just came out which is patch 1.10. Did anyone else find it weird that they skipped 1.9? Yeah we do too, lol. After we finish the patch review we talk about the controversial stuff that was happening on ladder. People being held hostage in games that they won but the opponent is like nope going to cast infinite spells so we both not leaving. It was a super sad situation and at least the ladder is fixed now.
