In this episode, we are beginning our very first series about one of my favorite topics – forensic biology. I took a whole class on it my last semester of college and it became something I love learning about. And no, I’m not a serial killer, I’m not psychotic, I just love the science behind solving a crime. Someone’s gotta figure it out right?  This episode covers some of the first stages of decomposition a body goes through after a person dies.

Welcome back to another episode of So Much Science.  This episode goes over what a supernova is, what the fate of our sun will be, and many mini existential crisis' had by yours truly. If I got anything wrong feel free to let me know because that was a lot of physics and chemistry to swallow, so hopefully I explained it well, lol.

The new year brings in a lot of reflecting on many different things, and in this episode we're reflecting on some of the new species added to the tree of life in 2022! Furry crabs, giant salamanders, me having the most difficult time pronouncing these species' scientific names, and a millipede named after Taylor Swift - this episode has all of it!

Welcome back to the second episode of So Much Science! So happy you're here. In this episode we go over that thing we've heard of here and there, maybe it was brought up in history classes when talking about wars more than it was ever mentioned in your science classes... we're talking about typhoid fever. Come along for this incredibly nerdy deep dive into what exactly this is!

Hey everyone and welcome to the first episode of So Much Science podcast hosted by Marena Moore! You may have heard me on my other podcast Southern Woke with Kalan Recatto, but this one is all mine. So, with the topic of science being so incredibly broad, you can imagine how overwhelmed I was when thinking about what my first episode should be on. Then randomly I thought let’s just start with one of my favorite scientists – Charles Darwin.  First, we’ll go over a bit of his early life, his journey on the HMS Beagle, his book Origin of Species, how people responded to his theory, and the end of his life.
