Today’s episode is special as we dive into self-love and healing from within. This topic is close to my heart, having been at the core of my personal growth for the last decade.
Self-love isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of a healthy and fulfilling life. My journey began after a painful breakup from a five-year relationship that pushed me into therapy and self-discovery.
Loving yourself means giving yourself the love you didn’t receive from parents, caregivers, partners, or friends. It’s about recognizing the gaps in your experiences and filling those voids with your own love and care. Even if you’ve never experienced healthy, secure, or safe love from others, you can create that for yourself.
Tune in for more on this journey of self-love and let’s heal together.
Hey, SoulFull family!
It’s been a minute—life's been a whirlwind with a pretty tedious job search process, but I’m excited to share that the first week is complete! Now, I’m figuring out how to balance everything and keep this podcast journey going strong.
In this episode, we dive deep into the concept of letting go. This topic feels incredibly relevant for me and many in our community right now. Letting go, in my eyes, can be one of the greatest acts of self-love.
We often hold onto things, people, situations, and environments simply because we've grown accustomed to them. They create a false sense of security and comfort, but they can also prevent us from experiencing growth, new opportunities, and genuine happiness.
So why do we stay in these stagnant places? Sometimes it’s fear of hurting others or fear of the unknown. We don’t want to rock the boat, so we stay in a boat with a dead engine and no lifejackets.
Choosing to let go is choosing yourself. Letting go is about making room for the next best thing to come into your life. Tune in to hear more about my journey and tips on how you can start letting go to make room for what truly matters.
Catch the full episode now and let’s embrace the power of letting go together!
In this episode, we dive into the often misunderstood concept of vulnerability. What does it truly mean to be vulnerable, and why is it so crucial for building deep, authentic connections?
I share my personal journey with vulnerability, starting with my lupus diagnosis at 12 and later kidney disease at 21. Initially, I shut everyone out, believing I had to face it alone. But as I opened up, first through a blog, I experienced profound healing and deeper connections with family and friends.
Choosing vulnerability over pride has been transformative. Allowing others to see me struggle and not have it all together has fostered true, meaningful relationships. When you let yourself be vulnerable with those you trust, you create a safe space to heal.

The 3 Biggest Business Killers
I’ve been in business for 4 years now - that’s not long, nor is it short.
It’s a substantial amount of time that I have learned A LOT of really expensive lessons.
And not only expensive lessons learned through loss of money or revenue, but also loss of time and loss in energy.
I wouldn’t take back any of the lessons I’ve learned because it’s gotten me here today, however if I can help one person early on in their entrepreneurial journey, I am so happy to.
So without further ado, let’s get down and dirty and talk about what I’ve identified in my own business, through working 50+ clients in their businesses, and hiring 7, 8-figure online entrepreneurs and mentors, here are the 3 biggest business killers.
I am so excited for today’s podcast episode. I feel like today’s conversation is going to be so therapeutic for my soul and so freeing to share with you all.
I have had so much going on in my life, hence why I have been so MIA on social.
I can’t remember the last time I went on stories and talked to you all, and I used to do that every day!!!
Anyways, today is going to be a massive life update on all the things - lupus treatments, other health issues, mental health, my business, my new job offer, moving, and anything else that comes up organically.
I want today to really feel like you’re joining me for a happy hour, we’re throwing back beers and just catching up on everything.
This might be one of the realest conversations I’ve had to date and one of the most important ones in my 4-years as an entrepreneur.
This is exactly why I’m opening up the floor and having this real conversation with you all today.
I’ve known so many online entrepreneurs who held a job while they launched their businesses, those who went back to their jobs after launching, and those who shut down their businesses to get a job.
Regardless, I don’t know why having a job while starting or running or scaling your business has been looked down upon so negatively in the online coaching industry.
I feel as though it’s been this super taboo subject that’s so riddled with shame, guilt, and embarrassment, and I say this from first-hand experience as well.
Today we are going to be serving up some harsh truths and reality checks if you’re feeling frustrated with where you are in your business, career, health or relationships.
This way of thinking and approaching life that I’m going to share with you has always served me well and I truly believe it’s played a huge role in my ability to stay committed and resilient in all my endeavors and to see success.
So if you’re in a place in your business, job, or health, and you’re not happy about where you are, the progress you’ve made or the lack thereof, or feeling like you should be further along…
This one's for you.
I sat down with Nav, a lawyer turned online business coach who helps professionals just like you start a meaningful, purpose-driven online business.
Nav shares her personal journey of leaving a successful career to pursue her true passion, and offers practical advice for anyone looking to make a similar transition.
Get ready to be inspired and motivated to take the leap and create the business of your dreams! Join us for this exciting episode of Money and Margs.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned time and time again, in life, jobs, and in business, is that what’s meant for you will always feel right.
It will always feel good - maybe not right away, but over time it will always feel good.
What’s meant for you is for you.
What’s meant for you will feel easy.
Now, that’s not to say there are not going to be hard times or challenges, or that you’re not going to have to put in a lot of hard work and sacrifices…
But it’s that all of those hard times and challenges, and all that hard work and sacrifice will feel easy to do/make/overcome because it’s worth it.
It feels worthy of doing so.
Oooooof I am soooo excited for this episode.
I feel like there’s a lot to consider in this conversation and so I’m excited to delve into it today with all of you.
For starters - for those of you who are listening who don’t have a business or who have been wanting to start their own for some time, but haven’t yet…
This is going to be a super insightful conversation for you.
And then for those of you who are in business - whether it be 3 months, 3 years, or whatever - I know this one is going to hit home.
Today’s episode is going to be a straight up tough love Chauf sesh for you.
And it was inspired by all of you ✨
I can’t tell you the number of DM’s I get from all of you beautiful humans sharing how inspired you’ve been by me, my journey, or the experiences and vulnerabilities that I’ve shared with you.
I never could’ve imagined this level of support, especially when I first started online and was TERRIFIED of showing my face, speaking on camera, etc., and now to have built such a beautifully loyal and supportive community….I’m truly humbled by it all, so thank you.
Now the message I want to share today is this…I love that I inspire you, but what’s more important is that you actually take action.
Don’t just consume my content to be “inspired”.
Consume my content to go and do 💖
If you’ve been tuning into my podcast or Tuesday Tea and following the last few months, you know we’ve been going through it over here.
It has felt like a hot dumpster fire across the board - life, health - both mental and physical, relationships, business, etc.
I have finally completed a 3-month treatment for a bad lupus flare a couple weeks back. Again, if you have been following, you have probably noticed me being hella MIA or just going through it.
Unfortunately, I got news from my doctors last week that we have to extend treatment, because my pains and symptoms came back after being off the drugs for a couple weeks.
This was an extremely frustrating and discouraging conversation to have with my doctors. I had a good cry that night, threw myself a pity party, but now it’s time things change.
Friends, I hope you’ve been well.
I’m going to keep it real and short this week - these past few weeks have been some of the most challenging times I’ve had to navigate since starting treatment for my lupus. I’m at the tail-end of the 3-month treatment but they rocked me hard.
Mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I know a lot of you think of me as this super strong, resilient, and positive person - and for the most part, I am.
And though I have studied psychology, been doing mindset work for the past decade, and coached others on it - it doesn’t mean I am immune to my own self sabotage and inner critic.
The last few weeks I have wanted to quit so bad.
I am super excited for today’s episode because you all know how much I love weight lifting, physical training, etc.
I am a gym broooo through and through without the creepiness LOL.
Today I want to share how physical training - whatever that is for you - weight lifting, running, cycling, yoga, swimming, etc., breeds successful entrepreneurs.
I had sooo much fun diving deep into this topic and funneling down how it’s helped me cultivate the traits and mindset needed to be successful in business.
Let go to let in.
Today I want to have a heart to heart conversation with any of you who are feeling resistance in your business right now.
Resistance to making decisions about your next step or struggling to stay focused on a task.
Resistance when you sit down to do the work and not being able to see it through or feeling creatively blocked.
I feel like most of us experience waves or seasons of this in our businesses and while it may be frustrating, I believe it’s a necessary experience.
Of course it feels amazing when I’ve knocked every item off on my get-to list on a Monday, but what happens when I don’t?
What do I make that mean?
How do I then feel about myself and my business?
And so, I have found that it’s in these experiences that I am able to learn so much more about myself and what I can continue to nurture and work on - in the dips versus the highs.
On today’s episode let’s talk about the importance and value of letting go.
Hello friends, welcome back - I hope you’ve all had a great week so far.
As promised, after last week’s episode - today is all About Us, literally.
Last week I shared the birth story of my second business, About Us and today we’re going to do a deep dive into what About Us Agency is all about.
I want to share all of the tea on our brand identity and walk you through how I created each piece of it so you can do the same for your business :)
This has been such a fun and creative process for me and I never took the time to do it in my first business, so I’m bringing a new level of intentionality as I’m building my agency.
I believe building your brand and business identity is super important in laying a strong foundation of your why, your beliefs, and values will act as a compass when everything else unfolds - the niche, the offer, the delivery, etc.
This is the moral compass and ethos of your business and something to keep top of mind throughout all stages in your business, but especially at the beginning.
So, there are many components that can make up a brand identity but there are 4 components that I believe make up the crux of your business identity - your mission statement, your vision statement, your core values, and your about us story.
Let’s break down each component and how we can conceptualize each - using About Us a real working example.
I know I say it every week, that I’m excited for this week’s podcast and TT topic, but seriously though, this one is going to be another level.
This is a very personal story I’m going to share with all of you the journey and birth of my second business, About Us.
It’s something I’ve wondered if I would ever share because I wasn’t quite sure if there was value in it for all of you - but I’ve come to see there is.
And so, while you’re listening today - I want you to keep this overarching theme of being guided by the universe, seeing, experiencing and receiving little nudges, the little synchronicities that somehow magically align to reveal your next step or chapter, where there’s just too many to consider it accidental.
Take stock of all the little things that have come up along your personal and business journey and see whether there were moments you had that “Hmmmm….that’s interesting…” or those massive “a-ha” moments.
Okay, so let’s get into the birth of About Us.
I am excited to unpack this topic today and dive deep because I get asked a lot about mindset work and how I cultivate and maintain a positive, optimistic, and growth-oriented mindset, amidst the ups and downs of life and business.
I am going to walk you through my process and reverse engineer how I tackle mindset blocks, from a conscious level to an unconscious level, because we know that the first level or step in overcoming any sort of obstacle or challenge is awareness.
And then from there, digging deep into the presenting problem or symptom to identify the root cause.
So to help explain my process I am going to share a mindset block that I am navigating in real time.
Today I am excited to share a personal experience I had last week that really gave way to a renewed energy, a renewed sense of me, and a breakthrough coming into this week.
If you read the podcast title and were intrigued then you’re in for a real life story and experience of spiritual guidance and a breakthrough.
And if breathwork is something you’ve been interested in trying or are just curious about my experience, stay tuned!!!
Wow, it’s been a minute, friends.
This is my first podcast recording since the new year and how ironic and funny the topic of conversation and the title today…
How to start again because that’s exactly the message I need to hear today.
For those of you who are listening and have been crushing it since January 1, 2023…
You’ve been powering through, making consistent progress, and strides towards your personal and professional goals…
HELLLL FRICKIN YASSSS TO YOU!!!
I am here cheering you on and so damn proud of you.
But, today’s message isn’t for you.
Today’s message is for those of you who may be in the same spot the week prior to the new year…
Or maybe unexpected events or changes have happened and derailed the plan you had in place.
Maybe you haven’t made any real tangible strides forward in your life or business goals…
And if that’s you today - then today’s message is for you.
How has dating changed since becoming an entrepreneur?
Oooof I am excited for today’s conversation because it’s going to be a real personal one.
This is something I’ve never shared with my community and so I’m not going to lie I’m a bit nervous …
But it’s also something a bunch of you have expressed interest in…
So today what I want to talk about is how dating has been for me since starting my business and what changes I’ve seen within myself because of it.
I couldn’t be more ready to have this conversation with you all today and ring in the new year with the most invaluable lesson I’ve learned in 2022 and how that’s going to play out in 2023.
And so with that, 2022 did not go as I planned at all.
I didn’t even come close to my business financial goals for 2022.
My vision board and manifestations remain unchecked.
2022 was a year so full of growth and challenge, so full of highs and lows, so full of moments and experiences that I know are only meant to catapult in 2023.
And so with that, let’s get into my greatest lesson in 2022.
It feels so exciting and so right to be bringing you along the journey as I build my second business.
In this episode, I reflect on some of my greatest lessons after building a successful 6-figure business, what I’ve learned, and how I’m going to apply that to the creation of the agency.
You don’t need to be in my exact shoes to apply what I’m going to share with you today, it 100% applies to any stage in entrepreneurship, honestly.
I hope you found this episode helpful friends. I know we’re heading into the holiday season and new year soon, so let me know which of these 3 you want to carry into 2023 for your business.
Until next time friends!
Today’s episode will be something super personal and raw - a topic that I get asked about a lot actually from my community.
And honestly, it’s not something I could’ve ever imagined I’d be sharing so openly and publicly because for so long it was something I was ashamed of.
I hope that today’s episode will help you see that if you’re navigating chronic illness, mental health issues, or other invisible diseases while running a business, you’re actually much more equipped for entrepreneurship than you think.
That all your life experiences and hardships have given you the strength, tenacity, resilience, and grit to embark on this journey and be successful.
In the last 3.5 years since starting my business, I have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
The first 1.5 years in business I made no money. I invested $20k and made $0 in ROI.
The latter 2 years I took my business over 6-figures, grew my team, and have served over 50+ clients.
I’ve achieved and experienced a whole new level and understanding of freedom - financial freedom, time freedom, location freedom, and energetic freedom.
With that being said, after achieving so many things I only dreamt of when I first started my business, I am craving more. I want more in my life and my business.
I am feeling called to start the next journey in my business…starting a new business…a second business (which I can’t believe I’m even saying SECOND business!!!) that has been sitting heavily on my heart for some time now.
I’ve never felt more clear about what it is that I want next in my business and in my life, and so I am beyond excited to bring this next vision to life and to take you along this journey!
In this episode, I want to have a real, heart-to-heart with all of you about entrepreneurship - the good, the bad and the ugly.
I feel like there’s been a massive disservice done to online entrepreneurs, coaches, and service-providers.
IMO, entrepreneurship has been glorified beyond measure and it’s not serving the collective in a positive way.
All I see is the emphasis and tunnel vision focus on the “good” of entrepreneurship.
And yes, there are so many good things about it, like A LOT - the freedom, the autonomy, the potential for uncapped earnings, etc.
But today, I don’t want to have that conversation - I want to talk about the “bad” and “ugly” of entrepreneurship.
The other side of the same coin to help normalize our experiences, in case you’re not always just experiencing the “good” stuff, and to be more transparent about what it takes to build a successful business.
You can’t have the good without the bad and entrepreneurship is no exception.
Hello friends, I’m so excited to have you back for another episode!
As I am recording this, it’s been a week since my birthday and I have been deep in my feels and reflection…I mean, let's be honest, idk when I am not in that space LOL.
It’s the end of November and I know for so many of you, this time of year brings about that too.
We’re a month out from the holidays, 6 weeks out from the new year and I feel like it’s a natural time when we start to reflect on the past year - our accomplishments, what we experienced, where we are today, what we still want to achieve, etc.
I want to have a conversation about the feelings and thoughts that you might be coming up if you're not where you thought you would be, maybe you haven’t accomplished all or any of your 2022 goals that you set back in January 2022, or maybe you're simply not happy with where you are right now.
If that's you - this episode is a MUST listen.
Hello friends!
Welcome to the very first episode of Money & Margs, I’m your host Chauf.
GODAMMMN has this been a long time in the making, I’ve been sitting with the idea of starting a podcast for a couple of years now and now is the time.
This podcast is meant to be a space where we can have real, honest conversations around life, business, money, health, success, relationships, while keeping it fun, light-hearted and hopefully somewhat entertaining for all of you.
I figured with the first episode, the opening episode, I want to share where I’ve been, why I’m here today, and where I’m going.
I’m going to share things I’ve never shared before on any of my social media platforms to really let you see who I am, what I stand for, and what my mission is.
And from there you can decide if this is a space and community you want to be a part of.
Let’s get into it…
