This show features Jay Delnegro giving his take on what Jay Delnegro thinks only for Jay Delnegro to come back, listen along with the audience then either elaborate further or dispute Jay's previous claim all along the way providing a through-line to the next 40 years of his life.
In Episode 13 of "The Next 40" titled "Believe In Your People," we're diving into some murky waters with me, Jay Delnegro. This time around, I’ve had to take a few steps back and reflect on the exploring the tangled web of belief and truth.

In episode Five of The Next 40. I get to talking about the my skepticism surrounding taking what I see at face value when it comes to giving. As I talk through the idea of giving more I kind of end up questioning a lot more than just putting change in a cup or sliding a few dollars to someone’s cash app. It leaves me feeling concerned about my own identity and wondering if I’m missing a piece of what’s beneficial and important to me because of my skepticism. This is something that hold close to my chest because I think what I’m really talking about is bigger and lot more complex than I really understand.

In episode Three of The Next 40. I get to talking about why it’s so hard for me to enjoy television. The short answer is I don’t know why. Is that really even an answer? In episode Two of The Next 40. I found a recording that was literally a part of the shows conception and original idea. The recording is of me venting my frustrations around the death of Jonathan Price by the hands of a Texas Police Officer. I really didn’t recall making the recording, but finding it opened up a wealth of feelings and rediscovery. I look at what the people said, what was reported and what's happening current day. I feel a bit of personal loss here, not because I knew Jonathan, but because this feels and felt too close to truth that it was inescapable of me feeling associated. I'm sure I forgot some points that I wanted to make so please forgive my head and not my heart. This definitely meant a bit more to me and I hope that comes across as I to convey just that. My hope is that you look forward to hearing more from me. Welcome to The Next 40.
