A lot of program owners hope that just by getting people started… getting them to do something, however small… they can build some momentum and hopefully get results.

But that has created a whole generation of people who have managed to get some results simply by blindly following instructions… but who have little idea about the bigger picture.

You’re never gonna build a long term, sustainable business that way.

Platforms change.

Smart marketers are taking advantage of that… but if your business is built on the back of specific tactics on another platform, then good luck translating it.

Tactics change.

Eventually people see through it… and as a marketer it gets harder and harder to make it work.

But people are still teaching it.

But you know what doesn’t change? The fundamental principles behind the tactics. Because those are usually based on human nature & psychology.

If you understand those… you give yourself the ability to adapt existing tactics to different platforms, and even to create brand new ones when the old ones stop working altogether.

Execution & momentum are important… but it’s the people who can go deeper than surface level, and figure out what’s really going on, who are gonna win this game.

Blindly following tactics… executing hard & building momentum… can (and probably will) work. For a while.

But at some point, shit’s gonna happen.

Your tactics are gonna stop working.

When (not if) that happens, you’ll want to be able to use new tactics… and build on different platforms… if you don’t want your business to fall over.
