Getting "better" is not always visible to people around you.
It's an inside thing.
I was growing my hair because I felt it was the only thing I was in control of.
I loved my "BIG 80's Hair" and have often said I want it back.
Well, I grew it and now it's gone!!
It was nice for awhile but I don't need it any more.
I am feeling hopeful and optimistic!

Radiation and Hormone therapy are the next steps.
A 2 year journey into the dark side of side effects and wellness.
Well, I got all the side effects I can handle during this portion of my journey.
Mental health and wellness are so important. No one fakes a mental illness, they fake being well!

Surgery done. Didn't go as well as planed.
Lets try Hormone therapy with a little bit of Radiation thrown in. O.K.!
With my insides all mapped out and the feeling of hope in my steps, we started the Lupron needles and waited for a time to get in for radiation.
5 days a week for six and a half weeks.
That was my life.
Here we go. Come with me as my journey continues.
