What is the difference between the Glockenspiel and Marimba?
glockenspiel, (German: “set of bells”); a percussion instrument, originally a set of graduated bells, later a set of tuned steel bars (i.e., a metallophone)
marimba: a percussion instrument consisting of a set of wooden bars struck with yarn wrapped or rubber mallets to produce musical tones

Little Bear Radio is pleased to announce a new series of podcasts entitled, Story time with...Over the course of one week a member fo staff will read a children's story with a podcast broadcast each afternoon. This week Mr Gamble reads, The Tale of Despereaux a story about an exiled rat, a sad princess and a small mouse who dreams of being a hero.

As part of their Take Action project to help the environment, Elsa and Alex chose to spread awareness about pesticide usage. In the first part of this Little Bears Radio talk show, listen to the two young activists talk about the harmful effects of pesticides.
