The Legacy of Joe Jarzynka- 45 year old Joe Jarzynka was found dead Sunday morning along the Sol Duc River in the Olympic Peninsula from an apparent fishing accident. A walk on from 95-98, the 5-foot-7, 175-pound Jarzynka was a “fearless man on special teams’’ who “refuses to fair catch any punt.’’ In 1998 he was a first team All-Pac-10 selection as an all-purpose player, not just for his return abilities but also for his kicking.

Ahh… sweet redemption. After the most painful opening game of the season for the Huskies in 2021, 2022 proved to be the ultimate palate cleanser. Warren and Mark cover some Dawg & Duck news (Husky Recruiting, the tragic loss of an Oregon Duck) and then dive head first into home base with a Grand Salami of Mariners questions and debate. Warren and Mark discuss the multitude of potential options and outcomes and weigh out what would be best for each school individually, as well as for West Coast college football.

Special Guest Mike Martin (Real Dawg) joins Warren to talk about the historic and epic recruiting run the Huskies have been on with 11 new commitments over 9 days (and possibly more on the way). Warren and Mark discuss Jaden Rashada’s NIL deal and whether all 5 star qb’s will require such a ransom (like a certain Oregon 5 star QB recruit). Mark and Warren have some spirited debate about what Rushmore Draymond Greens belong on and whether or not Steph Curry has forced his way into the All NBA top 10 Greatest list.
Golden State goes up 3 games to 2 after the career game by new Warrior Andrew Wiggins.
