In today's episode, UC Berkeley's SWE Advocacy Committee members Bella Chang and Sharicka Zutshi join us to talk about Theranos, the infamous Elizabeth Holmes, and their impact on the biotech industry. We explore the importance of understanding the impact of one's innovations on society and how the Theranos case amplified glaring disparities rooted in gender stereotypes in S.T.E.M.
