Hi! I'm Isabella Rodriguez, welcome to My Thoughts On Life. Since I was little I have read and written constantly, I think because of this I have a (in my opinion) sometimes interesting way of seeing how the world works. I like sharing my experiences and thoughts on things in the hope that maybe they help improve someone else's life, if even just a little. I felt like this might be a fun project, and a fun and harmless way for me to share my weird and random theories, jokes, and stories. Thanks for listening! Hey guys! Your eyes do not deceive you, I am back, in only two-ish months!
I had to get on here and tell you all about this pressing matter, the groundhog day lore.
This is a rambly episode of course, because I get so excited to tell you everything about Groundhog Phil and the secret lore I have discovered about him.
~Official~ Groundhog lore: https://www.groundhog.org/
Some other weather predicting animals! : https://www.countryliving.com/life/entertainment/a46613352/groundhog-day-animals-predictions/
I hope you liked this fun little episode and maybe learned something as well. It felt like I was just chatting with you guys, and I kind of enjoyed it.

Hello my loves! I am back with another podcast episode!
Spoiler alert for a couple horror films from the 70's, but I think you should have seen those films by now if you'd be stressed about getting them spoiled.
Today's episode is full of a years worth of life updates, film theory, film bro knowledge, horror films, and the final girl!
I am the final girl, did you know?
I hope you enjoyed this episode, it's another semi structured one which I think can be nice.
I hope I didn't sound too sick! I managed to not cough in the mic at all so that was a win.
Let me know what you think, and what your thoughts are on horror films!
I'm going to link some of my research below! Definitely read more about it if you're curious! :)

Hey friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :) This one is quite the ramble, so be prepared for that okay.
Today's episode I really just talk about lots of things. I give a long update about what I have been doing since the last episode, and also explain why it's been so long (I know I always have these types of explanations but this time I had a good one!)
After kind of finally picking a topic I talk about change, most specifically in relation to how I have changed over the past year or so, and how the inner change and growth manifested itself into outer change and growth. Change is scary, but it can also be very important and lead to lots of good things. I am trying to continue working on realizing that!
Again this one was a ramble but I wanted to talk and so I did, it was therapeutic for me and maybe entertaining a little bit for you!
I think it ended up being okay, although maybe a bit all over the place. Let me know what you think!

Hi friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :)
Today's episode is another school project related one, however this is a surprise one because my teacher didn't actually ask for this. (Hope you still enjoyed!)
In this episode I talk about media and society, how they relate to one another, and my own personal thoughts and experiences on some of the subjects related to this topic. I also share some fun stories about running around campus in a Spiderman costume, so make sure to be on the look out for that.
I actually really like how this episode turned out, so let me know what you think!

Hi friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :)
In today's episode I once again have a very special guest, my roommate Sydnee!
In this episode we talk about our experiences growing up bilingual, and how the school language education system helped or hindered our learning. We also talk about a few studies and look at how essential it is for children to begin learning other languages while they are young.
This episode was slightly shorter and more structured but we still had fun talking about our experiences and learning more about it too. I, once again, had a great time recording with Syd. And she, once again, had a great time being forced to record a podcast with me.
If you're listening on Spotify please answer the poll and leave a question/comment down below. If you're listening on Apple Podcasts please leave a review. All feedback is appreciated! If those don't work leave me a comment at any of the contacts below. :)

Hi loves! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :)
In today's episode I have a very special guest, my roommate Sydnee! (Also a few special appearances from her dog Maple)
We read two stories from Reddit's AITA. One concerning story, and one very funny one.
This was a slightly new format for the podcast, but I really enjoyed it. Let me know what you think about stuff like this, and about having guests on. I had a great time recording with Syd. And she had a great time being forced to record a podcast with me.

Hi loves! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :)
In today's episode I talk about stress. What is it? How do we manage it? Tips to improving it?
Stress is something we all deal with, and especially that now is a time for finals, and as we are entering the end of the year, I know that stress and anxiety is really prevalent in all of our lives. In this episode I share some of the simple things I use to try and deal with stress and anxiety. Obviously these aren't going to solve every issue, but I have found them to be attainable and helpful for me whenever I need a little extra support.
At the end of the day make sure you all take care of yourself, I love and believe in you, and I know you all are going to continue to do great things!
Please reach out to me with any questions you might have, or if you have any advice of your own to share! If you're listening on spotify please answer the question and poll with your thoughts. If you're listening on apple podcasts please leave me a review, any feedback at all is appreciated.
Let me know as always if you need anything at all. I hope you enjoyed my take on this topic, and please let me know what you'd like to hear from me next! It can be about absolutely anything, so no suggestion is a bad one!
Thanks for listening!

Hey friends, yes it is me and yes I am back! Here is episode four of my super fun super intriguing podcast that I know you all know and love.
Today we will be talking about ghosts (not goats). Happy Halloween! It is October 31 so what better time is there to talk about it.
This podcast is broken up into a few sections so I am going to give you approximate timestamps, (in case you don't want to listen to everything, feel free to skip to my ghost stories)
Intro and update 00:00 - 20:00 / Are ghosts real? 20:00 - 45:30 / Ghostly stories 45:30 - 55:00 / Outro 55:00 - 65:30
This one is a bit rambly (who's surprised?) but I think it's fun, I also think my ghost stories are pretty exciting so let me know your thoughts. Excuse my slightly gone voice, we had a football game yesterday (and we won of course).
Reach out to me with any questions, comments, or feedback. I appreciate any response! If you're listening on Spotify please respond to the poll and questions! If you're on apple podcasts please leave me a review, again any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Let me know if you need anything at all, always happy to help out. I hope you enjoyed my take on this topic, and please let me know what you would like to hear about next. (Also let me know if you're my 11% of viewers in Germany, shoutout :)

Hey guys! It's been a while but I am back.
On today's episode you will hear another ramble of sorts, today I am talking about recovery and how my mental health has been recently.
Recovery is a weird thing that everyone goes through, and I'm not sure how often I see the process of recovery be talked about. I felt a bit better today than I have in a long time, so I wanted to share that a little bit. I also use this podcast as a way of processing, so that is sort of what this is. Me processing my thoughts and feelings.
Use this as a reminder to take a little extra care of yourself today, treat yourself, you deserve it.
Thanks for listening, I'll see you next time. :) <3

Hey guys! Mental illness and stigma surrounding it is something that is very prevalent in our society today. In this episode I talk about what I have learned about mental health stigma, and how in some ways stigma has effected me personally. Stigma can not only negatively effect people with mental health in a social aspect, but it can inhibit them from receiving help, and can lead to more drastic problems.
My video/animation/draw my life thing on mental illness: https://youtu.be/bVN3bMvJpWY
The research I did for this episode was research I also did for a paper last school semester on the topic of mental health stigma, however the takes I have on it are my own opinions and the stories are my own as well. If you would like any of my specific sources let me know and I will link the document, I do not have enough word count to link them but I did mention them when I would directly quote from them.
If you have any idea on what I should talk about next, if you want to know more about me and my personal experience with mental illness, or if you just need someone to talk to please feel free to contact me! :)
Thanks so much for listening, much love and Happy New Year!

I know right, big existential subject there.
Here is my ramble warning, once I actually get into the topic it gets very rambly. I hope you can forgive me for this, and if you cannot, maybe this episode is just not your cup of tea. I don't mind honestly, I promise the next episode will be more well thought out and outlined, so please give that one a go instead once it is out.
In this episode I talk (more like ramble slightly incoherently) about existence and how it is kinda ~insane~ that we are here and now, and that we impact things and people around us in the way that we do. I just felt sort of in my head about this tonight, because it is so crazy truly how we are such small parts of such a big system, but we are able to leave big marks on the world around us despite this fact.
I apologize many times and try to explain why I am rambling many times, if you get to those points I'm sorry. Once again feel free not to listen, I promise not all of the episodes will be like this. (I honestly do not know why I am starting this podcast out this way, it is a very poor portrayal of how these are going to go. Whoopsies.)
Thanks for listening if you do, and please do come back next time if you would like. Again, I promise it will be better (or I will at least try whole-heartedly to make it better).
Remember, your existence matters to someone, and I hope at very least it can one day matter to you as well.
Love you deeply! xo

Hi! I'm Isabella Rodriguez, welcome to my podcast.
So here we are!
In this podcast I will talk about whatever I feel like that week, I might have other people on with me at points, just whatever ends up happening honestly. I might rant about whatever I have on my mind, or talk about sometime I learned, or tell a story from my childhood. Truly, the possibilities are endless. I had originally wanted to make this solely a mental health podcast, and I think there is still going to be a lot of that, but I wanted to talk about random stuff too so I felt like this could be a fun idea.
Thank you so much if you choose to listen to any full episodes once I make them, I hope you enjoy!
