This podcast is dedicated to exploring the truth about God: things you may not have understood, may not have been taught, or quite frankly, had a very hard time believing.
And since our entire relationship with God rests on “believing,” it is important we learn how to separate the truth from the many lies and fictions that abound within the religion of Christianity.
So, when you’re ready to listen – tune in and discover a pathway to freedom, encouragement, life, and hope.
Revelation 18 provides us with a command and awarning, a severe threat. “You are commanded, the people, thepeople, mine, to come out of her so that you may not participate of her the sins and may not receive of her plagues …” If we do not heed this warning, we might be among those who are left behind at the rapture.
“Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of Yahweh, intoxicating all the earth. The nations have drunk of her wine; therefore, the nations are going mad.” This has been God’s Plan-A all along, “For from Him, and through Him, and to Him (or for His purposes) are all things.
There are six (6) commands given: 1) to come out of her; 2) to pay her back as she has paid; 3) to make this payback double and double; 4) to mix twice as much for in the cup which she mixed, a cup filled with the blood of the saints; 5) to give her torment and mourning; and 6) to rejoice over her because God has pronounced judgment against her for us.
Babylon the great has imprisoned Christians who are guarded by unclean spirits, birds, beasts – demonic spirits.

The Woman who rides the Beast, the Harlot of religious apostasy has a global ministry amongst all “peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.” God uses evil to judge evil. The 10 Horns and the Beast will in the future hate the harlot and cause her to become desolate and naked. They will eat her flesh and burn her up with fire. Desolate will be her eternal state of existence. This is God’s plan for he puts it in their hearts to execute this plan.
Until then, this woman is the “great city” that now reignsover the Kings of the Earth. Her city is where Jesus was crucified. It is the city of religious apostasy. The Kings of the Earth are spiritual beings in control of the territories of the earth and they have submitted to her ways and participated in her abominations.

“… and those with Him (with Jesus) Called and Chosen and Faithful."
The Called of God are all those who have been bornagain, brought into God’s household. They all are given the opportunity to learn WHY they can trust Yahweh with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength, just like a little child, and HOW to trust Him.
Chosen are those who are born again AND they have chosen to live like a little child in unrestrained freedom, dependent upon Yahweh for all things all the time. They live free from the law.
The Faithful are Called and Chosen, and theyare the enduring bondservants of Jesus Christ, who are now overcoming, now having ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, now following the Lamb wherever He goes, holding to the testimony of Jesus, and are choosing to come out of the great tribulation.

The heads of the Beast have 10 horns who are now 10 kings, spiritual entities, demonic spirits. The Destroyer (the Beast) is one of the horns. These 10 now receive authority with the Beast but will be able to exercise it for one hour only, the hour of testing, the hour of judgment, the one hour in which they will attack the woman who rides the Beast and destroy her. They all have one mind and one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the Beast.
They will in the future wage war against the Lamb and theLamb will defeat them because He now is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with Him Called and Chosen and Faithful.

There are 5 of the heads who have fallen, one is, theseventh is yet to come and will remain for a short while, and the Beast is also an eighth but is one of the seven. Five angelic beings manifested themselves to the people of God to be worshipped as gods. They have since fallen from their place of prominence and are no longer worshipped. They are Baal, Ashtoreth, Milcom, Chemosh, and Molech.
The Spirit said the sixth now is. In the first century, the central god who manifested himself to be worshiped is Zeus known throughout the Roman Empire as Jupiter. This god is still worshipped today by the people of God in the form of a statute of St. Peter. The idol of Zeus/Jupiter stands in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and millions worship before this idol.
The seventh was yet to come, but he will remain only alittle while. Since the first century only one being has manifested as god, and that is Allah.
The Beast is an eighth but one of the seven. Chemosh was a head, then he was vanquished to the Abyss being butchered, and rises again as the Beast (as the eighth), supercharged with the dragon’s power, throne, andgreat authority.

It takes a mind with wisdom to understand the mystery of the Beast. The 7 heads now are 7 mountains on which the woman now chooses to sit, and they now are 7 kings; five fell, one now is, the other has not yet come; and when he may come, he now must remain a little while.
With the use of the present tense, this cannot bespeaking of a revised Roman empire, and the reference is not to the 7-hills of Rome, because this speaks of mountains, not hills. The mountains are kingdoms, ruled by these kings, who are heads, leaders, spiritual rulers. The woman, the great Harlot, Mystery Babylon, rides on top of these seven heads. Her authority in this world is not innate, but derived from those upon whom she relies upon for access to this world—the 7 heads. 5 kings have fallen from their place of prominence amongst humanity, they are no longer worshipped as gods.

John sees the Harlot drinking the blood of the saints, and he was fascinated, struck with wonder. The Angel rebukes John for his admiration of this woman of religious apostasy.
The Beast was. He once held a place of prominence amongst mankind and was worshipped as a god.
The Beast now is not. He was punished by Yahweh, exiled to the Abyss. He is no longer worshipped as the god Chemosh.
The Beast is now about to now come up out of the Abyss and now go to destruction. His release is imminent, and his doom is certain. This Beast, whose name is Destruction or Destroyer, will wreak destruction but he too is marked for destruction. The Vessels of Wrath who have been prepared for Destruction (for the Beast) and who have chosen Destruction, whose names are not written in the lamb’s book of life, will in the future be struck with wonder at the Beast when in the future he chooses to come.

Nimrod, that mighty hunter who ruled over humanity, had a wife named Semiramis who provides us not a type and human avatar of the woman who rides the Beast. She established the first religion supporting Nimrod’s rule and maintaining their collective power which centered on worshipping the hosts of heaven—powers of the universe. She became known as the Queen of Heaven and established the mother child cult and, with her son, Tamuz, the typology for a slain and resurrected messiah.
Semiramis religion spread from Babylon to many lands, including Israel, and Pergamum, and then to the Christian countries where she continues to spread. She is the mother of all harlots and the spirit of apostasy. She is drunk with the blood of the saints and her religious systems has no tolerance for true believers in Jesus. She persecutes and kills them.

On the forehead of the great harlot is a name caused to being written, "mystery, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
Her name speaks of her character, but it is a mystery, with layers of meaning, being rooted in the tale of ancient Babylon where the worship of men and the gods of the heavens was first introduced. It established a precedent where men became the bridge makers, the connection, or gate, between heaven and earth. Ba-bel, the tower to heaven built in the region of Babylon, means the “gate of God.”
This system, introduced by the Harlot, is still followed today where many ministers, priests and other religious leaders believe they are that bridge, and man must come through them to gain access to the heavenlies.
In contrast, Jesus claimed that He is the bridge, the gate, the ladder connecting heaven and earth, and the angels travel to and fro because of Him.

As the kingdom of the Beast arises to power and position, the defining attribute of its movement through the peoples and nations of this world is the rampant immorality of this harlot—her apostate religion. John seesthe woman who is now sitting on a scarlet Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. This is a warning about religious apostasy, a system which states that there is somethingwe can do and must do to honor God other than believing.
Her clothing and adornments are meant to attract and seduce, giving off the semblance of Godliness. But her vestments are symbols of blood, sacrifice, power, wealth, and royalty.
In her hand is a cup full of her immoralities, abominations, all the stinky deeds done where-in-which a person exalts themselves by believing that they can be good for God and do something for God (their religious piety and the source of legalism).

The Codex uses the imagery of the King of Tyre to give usunderstanding of the Beast. Hhis kingdom there will be a blend of religion (specifically Christianity), politics, power, money, opulent wealth, abuse, corruption, and abject violence. All of these will be present consistent with the meaning of 666.
John is carried to the wilderness, the domain of demons, for an examination of this woman and the Beast. The Beast is scarlet, indicating he has spilled the blood of the saints. The seven heads of the Beast are inscribed with misappropriations of the names of Yahweh, as they have presented themselves to mankind as Yahweh substitutes. The Beast claims he is saving the world from the wrath of the Lamb and from the plagues brought about by the bondservants of Christ.Be warned of these blasphemies. Any system ofworship that combines what God does for us (grace)with what we can do for God and for others (the work of our hands), has been inspired by this false Messiah who has misappropriated the name of Yahweh.Download Transcript
The harlot of religious apostasy sits on the Beast holding in her hands a cup. Spirituality is the cup, and inside the cup is the corruption, deceit, damage, violence and so on, caused by a lust for wealth, power, and control over others.
Why a woman. Throughout the Codex, women, who represent the glory of mankind, are symbolized as having a level of spirituality that men simply do not. And for their part, men have always had a level of extreme vulnerability when it comes to women. As a harlot, this woman gives herself to all who will have her.
The Kings of the Earth are spiritual rulers over the territories of mankind who have permitted this woman to operate and function in the physical realms, resulting in the worship of so-called gods and the many forms of Jesus found throughout the earth (all 45,000 of them). They have drunk deeply of her cup of apostasy.

With the seventh angel pouring out his vial on the earth, the Lord is enough, it is finished. Plan-A is complete. A third great earthquake is released that causes great changes in the landscape of our world.
The great city of religious apostasy is torn in thirds. Likely each foundational pilar (religion, wealth, and institutional power) is shaken and torn down. And with that Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. God uses evil to judge evil. The ten horns of the Beast will make Babylon the Great desolate, naked, and will choose to eat her flesh and burn her up with fire. This spells the end of religion.
One-hundred-pound hailstones pulverize what’s left in the world, still people continue to curse God and refuse to relent of their pride, rebellion, and hatred. This is a stoning on those who blaspheme the name of Yahweh.

He now comes through the Word, people, angels preaching the eternal gospel, the marvel of creation, the work of the Spirit, dreams in the night, specific wounding He inflicts on a person (aka, the fire), and in many ways that we do not even know, He now chooses to come and take away all that stands in the way of His possessing our being. He wants us ready, clothed in His righteousness. If we are not ready for Him, we will be ashamed.
A secret message about Har-magedon (Armageddon), literally Mount Megiddo, which refers to Jerusalem – the gathering place for the demonic armies. All those who refused God’s offer of mercy that flows by His grace, will be judged by the law. Each bowl of wrath is targeted at some segment of creation.
Bowl 1: Loathsome and malignant sores on those now having the mark of the Beast.
Bowl 2: The sea became blood, like that of a dead man, and every living soul in the sea died.
Bowl 3: The rivers and springs of water became blood.
The angel of the water proclaims that God is just in this judgment for they deserve to drink blood, for they poured out the blood of the holy ones and prophets. Tho it is all Plan-A, still those instruments of violence against God’s people will be judged.
The blood is a sacrifice, a cleansing of the earth providing protection for the Elect and the Righteous. The Angel of the Altar of Sacrifice agrees that God is righteous in His judgment.

The Sanctuary of God is opened, and the angels come forth readyto pour out the seven vials filled with the wrath of God. Those of the earth are judged by the perfect law of God. Smoke from the Sanctuary fills the heavens, for without this covering all humanity would die from exposure to the radiance of Yahweh.
First there were seven Seals, then seven Trumpets, and now seven Vials. In Code, this indicates a perfect (3) completion (7). The earth will be used as the bronze altar of judgment. The sacrifice upon the altar is those who have not been marked by God for life. There will be those saved through the Great Tribulation, and they will be purified and cleansed by the fires of suffering and the blood of humanity.
With the command to pour, the spiritual invades the physical in a terrifying way that defies nature, logic, science, and the normal course of things. This is a spiritual judgment into the physical realms that brings forth God’s reckoning on both that which is spiritual and that which is physical.

Those who are victorious have been standing in the fire of mercy, willing to let God burn off from their lives anything that does not want Him to reign as their I AM. The judgment of believers is a now thing; it occurs in our lives. Those who stand and continue to be standing despite the flames will be those who are now overcoming. The fires of mercy are necessary. It is why we can be victorious over the Beast and how we abstain from fallinginto the apostasies of Cain, Balaam, and Korah.
Being salted with fire is kind, it is compassionate, it is measured, it is personal (it occurs before the throne of God), and it is loving. The fire is literally saving our lives. And since the “something like a sea” is still, without a single ripple, we can be sure, with 100% confidence, that the fire is safe. Sadly, too many Christians will run from the fire and refuse to let the fire complete its work. Those who understand will worship.

John sees 7 angels who are now having seven plagues, which literally means: “strike,” “wound,” “flatten out,” “to pound,” “to inflict,” or “smite.” These seven plagues are the last, there will be no more. In these seven plagues the wrath of God is caused to be finished. It is a time when God will avenge the murder of His servants and destroy those who destroy the earth.
The story line of wrath is paused, and John saw an image ofpeople before the throne of God, in something like a sea of glass being mixed with fire. Those who are overcoming, who are now victorious over the Beast have been standing in the fire. The “sea” is completely still though there is fire.
This communicates that to protect His people from the Beast, from the time of wrath, and from the woman who rides the Beast (religion), they must undergo the fires of judgment and purification throughout their lives. This explains the hardship and suffering believers endure. It is oddly protective for they are being saved through the fire. These fires prove our faith and reveal the quality of our work, whether it was His work or our own.

The events of Revelation 11-14 are paralleled in the famed Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), and all that occurs with the blowing of the 7th or final Trumpet, leading up to the Days of Awe which occur before the Day of Atonement, the Day of Judgment. It’s a time acknowledging God’s Sovereignty, a time of Remembrance, where God remembers His people, and for the Shofar, or the blowing of the Tekiah ha-Gadol, the last or final trumpet.
This festival deals with three classes of people. Those who are Righteous and whose names are entered into the Book of Life. This is a picture of the Called and Chosen and Faithful who are raptured at the final trumpet. Then there is an Intermediate Class whose fate stands in the balance, subject to their repentance during the days of Awe. This would include those in the household of God who never choose to become little children. Those who do not repent will face judgment via the Wrath of God, symbolized in the Day of Atonement. And finally, there is the Wicked or Accursed whose names were never entered into the Book of Life. They will know the Lord’s wrath.

This second reaping gives us a very explicit picture of the last part of the tribulation, post redemption of God’s people. It is a harvest unto judgment and death for those who reject God and choose the Beast and willingly chose to worship demons and idols. The sacrifice to be laid upon the altar of the earth will be a sacrifice of mankind.
The earth is harvested, and humanity is thrown into thegreat winepress of Yahweh’s wrath, where they will be crushed. For those nations that come against Jerusalem, there will be blood, lots of blood, flowing as high as a horse’s bridle, extending for the distance of 200 miles. Two thirds of the people in the land of Israel will be cut off and die, and one-third will be left in the land, and they will be purified through the fire of Great Tribulation.
As a result, there will be those who will declare that Yahweh is their God and He will declare that they are His people.

If one sticks to the Codex, the evidence related to the timing of the rapture is incontrovertible. In the key passages in the Codex, all the key indicators are in alignment with Revelation 14:14-16. Collectively they contain: The Lord, the Cloud, the Shout, the Angel, the Cry of the Angel, the last Trumpet (the seventh trumpet), the harvest, the gathering, the one sitting on the Cloud. They state that the dead will live, corpses will arise, those asleep will awake, God’s people will be rescued and they will hide away during indignation (a time of distress such has never before occurred or never again will), and the Lord is coming to punish the inhabitants of the earth.
The parallel passages also mention the war against thesaints, the resurrection, the cloud, and their ascension into heaven. This is the mystery and the time of gathering.
There is also alignment with this harvest of God’s people and Rosh Hashanah, the Festival of Trumpets, and the judgment of the inhabitants of the earth and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). The rapture occurs at the blowing of the last (the Seventh) trumpet. This ushers in the second reaping and the time of the Lord’s great wrath: the Day of the Lord.

This is the famed RAPTURE of the church, the pinnacle of HOPE for the Called and Chosen and Faithful of God. All the events are associated with the sounding of the 7th and last trumpet blast.
Jesus comes sitting on a white cloud, He is referred to as the son of man, and He is wearing a golden crown of victory. He has a sickle in His hand ready to collect His harvest. Another angel, an arch angel, comes out of the Sanctuary and is crying out with a loud voice giving the command for the son of man to thrust in His sickle and to reap. The hour has come, and the harvest is ripened to the point of being withered and dried up.
The false teaching of man, known as the “doctrine of imminence,” is setting people up for the great apostasy when what they have been taught about the pre-tribulation rapture does not come true.

Jesus commands us to come to Him for His burden is light. God desires our willingness to let Him be our I AM and in turn He promises rest. To the extent that we do not believe that Jesus is our I AM (in whatever areas of our life), we will not know, rest but spiritual death.
Rest speaks of the absence of striving – trusting that if ONLY GOD IS GOOD, then only He can do the good works of the Father in-and-through our lives; it is all up to Him. Rest speaks of having the core needs of our soul satisfied (safety, security, stability, being seen or known) so we do not have to strive for these things.
In contrast, the labor of legalism (trying to do “for” God), is never satisfied. But the dead and dying (those who have embraced the death of our own self-effort) will abide in His rest.

A voice from heaven uttered a WARNING: Blessed the dead who are now dying in the Lord from now on so that they may in the future be caused to rest from their labors, for their deeds now follow with them.
This addresses the willingness of the people of God to now be dying in the Lordto all that rebels against Him, such that they might live in Him. This is the perseverance of the saints, to be willing to die to our sin so we do not die in our sin.
The goal is “rest” and to cease from our spiritual labors. That is done when we stop trying to be Yahweh over our own lives and we become willing to let God puts to death all the idolatry in our soul that wants to be like God, and we trust that He will do His works in His time through our lives. We need to take His yoke of control, let Him be the Adonai of our lives, and bear the weight of “believing” that He is good, safe, and will keep us secure.

And another angel, a second one, followed, now saying, "Fell, fell Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the “wrath” of her immorality.” This second angel announces the death of religious apostasy. Babylon is where the religious apostasy was birthed as men first began to worship the Elohim, the angelic hosts of heaven and where the first child was presented as the messiah.
Babylon the Great represents the demonic lie of religion, especially the Religion of Christianity which looks like the truth, incorporates aspects of the truth, calls on Jesus’ name, does great works in His name, casts out demons in His name, worships in His name, but simply does not know Him by His name.
The harlot of Babylon is the demonic spirit who has made alldrink of the wine of her immorality, her religious apostasy. People have become drunk on her wine. The wine is powerful and people become addicted to it all the while thinking they are worshipping God.

If we are willing, then our natural response will be to give God glory, and if we give Him glory for what He created, we will find that we will worship Him.

The 144,000, the bondservants of Jesus Christ, have been purchased by God from the marketplace of humanity. Like the first fruit picked from a tree, they are the first to be plucked, picked or “offed” from the earth. They are a willing sacrifice, it is a choice they make. And in God’s structure, they have first place or first position as a dedicated offering to God.
There is no falsehood in their mouth, the Spirit abides in them so completely that they speak only the truth about God and not the myriad of lies and falsehoods that are spoken about Him.
They are now unblemished. They are chosen for sacrifice because they have made the choice to wash themselves white in the blood of the Lamb. They are not just people living in the End Times; it’s a picture of all who live in Christ.

They gather on Mount Zion, a symbol of hope, victory, safety, grace, mercy, acceptance, belonging, forgiveness, deliverance, perfection, and community.
Even now they have the name of the Lamb and the Fatherwritten on their foreheads—they NOW bear the name. They now sing a new song, never before sung. No one could be caused to learn the song except the 144,000. They clearly have dual existence: on earth and they have a place in the heavenly realms—what believers do is done before the Father.
The 144,000 are virgins (reserved exclusively for Jesus),they have not served or worshipped other gods. They have rejected the harlot and have not been caused to be defiled with other so called spiritual sources of enlightenment, especially the Religion of Christianity that is obsessed with the “work of our hands.”

Those with wisdom (who are now having ears to hear) are commanded to calculate the number of the Beast. The number is the number of a man (6) and it provides the identifying attributes of the kingdom of the Beast as it plays out in the physical realm of humanity. Combined, 666 equals perfect incompletion; it will never be enough, the Beast will never be enough.
The Calculation from the Codex examples of 666:
1) Religion and the religious traditions of men (the apostasy of Cain expressed in the lust of the flesh): 6
2) Great wealth garnished from the peddling of its religious traditions and from its authoritative rule through the religions of man (the apostasy of Balaam expressed in the lust of the eyes): 6.
3) Authority, rule, kingship, governmental power (the apostasy of Korah expressed in the boastful pride of life): 6
With his attachment to power, control, religion, and wealth, the Beast takes his authority (his seat) from within the household of God (the Sanctuary being the body of Christ) and uses the religion of Christianity (Mystery Babylon) to garnish for himself the worship of man.

The second beast is not yet “causing” people to worship the Beast, but he is “now causing” them to be marked with his name or the number of his name – 666. It is a spiritual mark indicating commitment, devotion, and ownership. Without prejudice, the second beast now causes the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bondslaves, to be given their mark on their right hand or on their forehead. The forehead symbolizing spiritual devotion and the right hand symbolizing radical cultic commitment of one’s strength and purpose.
Possessing the mark is a pre-condition to success in themarket and religious economies of the world; though people seem to be unaware of this exchange they have made, their success for their soul. They are now marked either with his name (the Destroyer or Destruction) or the number of his name: 666. It takes wisdom to calculate the number of the Beast.
Six is the number of man, and it is not seven, the number representing completion. It is always falls short. Used three times, with three being the number representing perfection, this indicates that those who now take the mark will never find what they are looking for, as the number indicates perfect incompletion. They will always be seeking and never finding.

The second beast has been responsible for an image of the Beast being created and standing where it ought not to be, in and amongst the holy ones of God. As a false Christ, the words which the image speaks compromise the grace of God by introducing some element of legalism and the “works of our hands” – which is demonic idolatry. These perversions are even found in how wejudge ourselves for our sin as well as those who have disappointed us with their sin.
If you have eyes to see, you are commanded to flee to the “mountains” of truth and stability.
God will use the Beast and its image as a threshing instrument to separate to Himself those who stand only on the goodness of God and who let God live in-and-through their lives from those who are trying very hard to be good for God and who are living for God.

The enemies greatest works of deception come from within. He has convinced everyone that their view of God is the right God. He speaks perversions of grace adding some element of works, some element of law, to our faith and in effect declares that Jesus did not come in the flesh. The implication is that there is more for us to do than to now just be believing. This is the perversionof grace marketed by the image. And it all comes from within the Sanctuary, from amidst the people of God.

The image is likely the famed “the” abomination of desolation which Jesus said is now standing where it ought not to be, in the midst of Christianity (the Sanctuary of God). There have beentypes of this image from the golden statute of Nebuchadnezzar, the statute of Zeus set up by Antiochus Epiphanes, the statute of Jupiter and the magi Simon, as well as the statute of Jupiter now disguise as Saint Peter.

This second beast is even now doing all manner of unbelievable things. He now exercises all the authority of the Beast over the demonic infrastructure that will support the Beast. He is all about force, compulsion, threat, and terror – as he makes or causes those in the future to worship the Beast.
The Beast bears the scars of his punishment, the scars that have been caused to be healed, and he appears to all, in messianic fashion, to have risen from the dead. The demonic world believesthat he is the promised messiah; he will save them from the wrath of the Lamb. Those of the earth will worship him because of the scars.
The second beast also performs great signs, even now bringing fire from heaven to earth, and deceives those on the earth and keeps them worshipping demons instead of God. All of this isperformed in the heart of Christianity.

The Spirit commands, “He that now has an ear, they are commanded to hear.” If we take others emotionally captive to punish, retaliate, or hurt them and kill those who threaten our lives, then we will be taken captive, and by the means we kill we will be killed. We are not to take matters into our own hands but TRUST Jesus with our lives. This is the believer’s perseverance in faith.
The second beast, the False Prophet, is like a lamb and a dragon, he looks innocent but is intent to deceive, slander, oppose, attack, conquer, and control. This second beast is NOT man, but a spirit that runs through the institutions of mankind: governments, corporations, media, religious and educational institutions, the market economies of the world, and so on. He is connected to religious deception (goodness, tolerance, inclusiveness) and economic platforms – one must play his game to succeed in the world. His message is anti, against all that is Yahweh. He speaks words of conflict, contempt, and division, seemingly based on love and acceptance.

The Beast wages war and overcomes the holy ones, but it all happens according to the plan, foreknowledge, and predetermined strategy of Yahweh Adonai (Plan-A).
The Beast will physically overcome the holy ones sealing them in the truth that they are the ones who are now overcoming, now and forever having the victory. The Beast will usher them into the arms of Jesus and into their eternal reward (those promises) that go on and on and on and on and on
The Beast is also given “authority” over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. He did not earn it, deserve it, or take it; it was given to him. Just like it was all given to the dragon.
All those who are now choosing to make their permanent abode on the earth, shall, in the future, worship the Beast—those whose name has not been caused to be written in the book of life of the Lamb. The fate of a specific group, the Vessels of Wrath, had been sealed by God because they chose to prepare themselves and give themselves to the Beast.

The Beast once held a role as one of the seven heads of the dragon – this spirit was part of Satan’s leadership council. He manifested himself to humanity as the God Chemosh. But this spirit crossed a line and he was punished by God and exiled to the Abyss. His punishment is described as something like a butchering, as having incurred a deadly wound.
This this fatal wound was caused to be healed and now he bears the scars of having been slain. The Spirit mentions the scars 4x in Revelation.
The demonic kingdom was shocked when the Beast reappeared (when he was released from the Abyss in Revelation 9). They make a Messianic declaration: he was, was not, and now is to come; and they worshiped the Beast and the dragon. And because the Beast was supercharged with the dragons power, throne, and great authority, they claim that no spirit can wage war against him and usurp his position.
There was caused to be given to him a mouth now speaking arrogant words and blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, them who are now dwelling in heaven. This is the only indication in heaven that this Beast possesses a man to gain access to a mouth to blaspheme God and the people of God.

The 4th Beast is a picture of the kingdom of the Beast, a confederacy of spiritual rulers (heads) who rule over other spiritual rulers (horns) as well as their earthly counterparts such that it all plays out in the realms of humanity—in the world. This confederacy is characterized as follows stealth, opportunistic, cunning, blood thirsty, cruel, stable, weight bearing, fighting advantage, loud, boastful, biting and tearing its victims after strangulating them of life.
From this beast will arise a little horn, a spiritual king who is great in stature, in fact he is greater in power and glory than the other kings. This spirit will possess a man, and from this “diminished place,” he will attack and defend his kingdom. With eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts, he will speak against the Most High and afflict the holy ones of the Highest One.

The Spirit show shows us the Kingdom of the Beast through animal imagery (the leopard, bear, and lion). This describes the base nature of the Beast and his kingdom, and it gives us a glimpse of how this kingdom and this demon will move about in the realm of humanity. This image combines different elements from each animal to create a horrifying monstrous creature with remarkable capabilities.
The prophet Daniel saw this Beast and was terrified by it. He said it was exceedingly dreadful having teeth of iron (an unbreakable bite) and claws of bronze (claws of judgment), which devoured, crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet. This kingdom, it is said, will devour the whole earth, tread it down, and crush it.
Why animals? The gentile nations were given over at Babel to be ruled by the Spirit Princes known as Elohim, or “Gods” – demonic spirit. In the Codex, these nations tend to be imaged according to the animalesque nature of the demonic spirits that rule or control them, the spirits that give each nation its unique spiritual identity.

Satan is sidelined and gives the Beast his power, throne, and great authority. The kingdom of the Beast, the Beast himself (the Destroyer), or the man, who is the human imager representing the Destroyer and the kingdom (the one we call the Antichrist), are all simply called, “the Beast.”
The Beast is now having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and on his heads blasphemous names.
When the Beast rises to the world stage, the Beast is going to move first with the might of his 10 horns (the might to attack and defend). These 10 horns are 10 kings that will arise—10 demonic rulers who have one purpose, and that is to give their power and authority to the Beast. We should expect to see a coalition of ten kingdoms, countries, or states from which the kingdom of the Beast rises to power and assumes control on this earth.
The seven heads represent the same seven-demonic Spirit Princes (sovereigns) which are now under the rule of the dragon. These seven demonic Spirit Princes comprise the dragon’s inner circle of royal authority that rules over nations and kingdoms, or groups of nations.
The “blasphemous names” refer to the misuse or the prostitution of God’s name—Yahweh. The Beast will claim that he is the Savior, saving the world from the wrath of the Lamb and from the plagues. He will take the names that belong to Yahweh, and appropriate them for himself.

The dragon turns his intensified wrath to the offspring of the woman, to the Called and Chosen and Faithful (those now keeping the commandments of God), have finished their 1,260 days of testimony, and, the dragon, through the Beast, will declare war against them, conquer them, and kill them (overlaps with Revelation 11). And the dragon was caused to stand on the shore of the sea of humanity watching the Beast rise to power.
The major events of Revelation 11 and 12 address events let loose by the blowing of the 7th trumpet and initiates the time of the wrath of the Lamb which will begin with the pouring out of the 7-bowls of wrath. Many of these events fall within the with the 3.5 months (105 days) period that bridges the two halves of the tribulation (30 days in the first and 75 days in the second.)
Revelation 13 provides a key transition point, where the focus changes and the Spirit brings us into a depth of understanding of the ways and the activity of the Beast and the False Prophet, who throughout the chapter is called the “second beast.” We will address such things as the image of the Beast and the famed number of his name: 666.

God has prepared a place in the wilderness for the “woman” (Israel) to fly for safety from the attack of the serpent. One third, the Elect (the Righteous from among the Jews) will be protected. In this place, the Elect will be nourished and protected for 3.5 years (the second half of the tribulation).
Imagery of both the dragon and serpent are used. The snake symbolizes lies, deception, and manipulation, whereas the dragon symbolizes power, strength, imposing intimidation, violence, fierceness, ferocity, and evil intent.
While the snake lies and collects its followers, the dragon mobilizes the nations for violence against the woman and brings them like a flood. And, though he uses seduction and deceit to manipulate those he turns against the woman, it is the dragon’s hated that will fuel the fires of aggression and brutality against the woman. But the woman will be rescued from this attack, as certain nations will come to her aid and absorb this assault.

With the third WOE, we see the strongest of warnings about the devil and what will ensue when he is expelled from heaven and caused to be thrown down, with his armies, to the earth, for the devil is consumed by wrath and he knows he only has a short time. This is a WARNING for all of humanity—all those who have chosen to make their abode in this world.
The devil will be slinging slander and accusation around causing people to self-destruct through division. The division and relational chaos are likely to be unparalleled.
He focuses first on the woman Israel and persecutes her. The dragon’s animosity for the woman is evident in all the ways the Jew has been persecuted throughout time. But all of this being Yahweh’s plan, Yahweh Adonai has also declared that one-third of the populus will be protected and saved.
Those one-third will escape on the 2 wings of the great eagle, which just might be a reference to the United States and the military and political wings of the USA.

All of Satan’s power and dominion has come from Yahweh, as Christ is the head over all rule and authority. Lucifer has no natural authority, only authority that has been granted and allowed. And now his agency contract, so-to-speak, is revoked.
The Accuser is just a tool. Our adversary is the dragon, the Leviathan, the serpent of old, the twisted serpent, the devil, and Satan
Animal imagery is intended to give us insight into the base nature of the person or spiritual being. Thus, the Shining One (Lucifer) is not a shape shifter showing up as a dragon one day and a serpent the next. These images speak to various aspects of his nature, that which is akin to a dragon and to that of a serpent. It describes how he operates, how he thinks, and how he functions with others.
The dragon is mighty, powerful, fierce, full of strength, fearless, the king over all the sons of pride, one whose heart is as hard as stone, and unassailable. The image of this dragon is intended to intimidate and cause fear. Whereas the serpent represents a nature of deception, wit, seduction, and wordplay; hence, the serpent is the shrewdest of all the creatures.
Lucifer is also referred to as the Leviathan—a creature that was formed to sport in the sea of humanity. Simply for sport, he causes chaos, distress, terror, and destruction in the realms of humanity.
The devil is a slanderer—the world champion of deceit—and Satan is the opposer.

As a result of a great war, Satan and his angels are cast out of the heavenly realms, relegated to earth. No longing having access to what God is doing from the heavenlies, they are constrained by time and dimensional space.
This war which results in Satan being cast out of the heavens to the earth, occurs before the actual blowing of the 7th trumpet (before the rapture), but within the same 3.5-month period that overlaps the two 3.5-year periods of the tribulation.
For now, the dragon is the deceiver, causing the whole world to roam astray. This deceiver’s work is to provide not so much anti-faith, but a substitute faith: an acceptable way-and-means to trust anything and anyone other than Yahweh. He perverts grace and leads us into idolatry, evidenced in the “work of our hands.”

The child, the Messiah, was raptured to God and His throne as He waits for the time when He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. Afterwards, the woman (Israel) fled to the nations where she has been protected for two thousand plus years. Now she has come out of the nations, and she has miraculously returned to her land.
There is a war in heaven, started by Michael and his angels, to expel the dragon and his angels from heaven. This is a war of brothers, a war based on betrayal.
Satan and his angels have been operating from the heavens; they even attend Yahweh’s great Assembly meetings. This is where both good angels and bad angels meet, and the plans for humanity are first declared and then assignments are handed out by Yahweh for the angels to act upon. But after this war, there was no longer a place found for the devil and his angels.

The dragon now has ten horns distributed across its seven heads. The number “ten” is associated with the divine order of human affairs. There are ten spiritual rulers of might connected to ten kingdoms in the realm of humanity, which the dragon utilizes to enforce his will upon mankind, through the use, or threat, of power and might. The seven heads are “kings” in the spiritual realm, the leadership council from which the dragon exercises his rule.
The dragon now sweeps away a third of the stars (the angels) with his tail of prophetic lies and thew them to the earth. A “third” is a signifying mark of Yahweh, indicating it was Yahweh’s plan for the dragon to cause one third of the angels to fall.
The dragon, working through human agency tried to kill the child, the Messiah, when he was first born.

The child is none other than Jesus, Yahweh Yasha, the Messiah, because it says that the child of this woman is the one who is destined to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. When Jesus returns at His Second Coming, the Father has declared that He will rule all nations with a rod of iron.
Also, this child was caught up to God and to his throne, which is what happened to Jesus. Jesus ascended and has now seated Him at the Father’s right hand in the heavenly places.
Israel did not recognize His first coming, so in effect they are still travailing as a pregnant woman, in pain, waiting for the delivery of their coming Messiah; and it will be a painful journey.
God caused another sign or picture to be seen in heaven, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his heads. Satan, imaged as this dragon, has been an impossible foe to conquer, for no man or weapon of man can prevail over this Leviathan, for there is nothing in our earthly realm that is like him. At least one of these heads, in the past has been crushed.

Revelation 12 chapter is focused on the devil, the dragon, Satan, and his contempt for Jesus and for all those who follow Him. It reveals his hatred for the people of the nation that produced the Messiah.
The Spirit uses the imagery of a woman clothed in astrological images because woman represent the glory of mankind, the very soul that is connected to that which is spiritual. Symbolized in Eve, the woman chose to be clothed in spirituality, as such the woman continues to be the window to the spiritual realm of the knowledge of good and evil.
The woman clothed herself with the sun, which is a reference to Jacob whose name was changed to Israel (which means God Prevails) when he let God prevail over his stubborn heart.
The Moon under the woman’s feet is a reference to Rachel, Jacob’s wife, and Aramean, and captures all the gods of religious apostasy, such as Baal and Astarte. The moon has no natural light and no natural warmth because only reflects the light of the sun. These gods are posers and possess no natural light, power, or authority other than what has been given to them, thus, they will always be under the woman’s feet.

The Sanctuary in heaven was opened, where the Ark of the Covenant is kept, which means that some serious things are about to go down, and it is not going to be good. The Ark served two primary purposes: 1) The Ark was the symbol of God’s presence and power on the earth, and 2) the Ark was an image of life and death. In effect, the Ark was a reminder of the law of God, the covenant He made with His people, and the life that came from following the law, and death which came forth from violating the law.
The time for mercy, for grace, however, has passed. Now it is the time for wrath, hence the flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm. The Ark is announcing the coming doom!
The Ark held the sacred tablets of the Law of God. Therefore, the standard of judgment will be the perfect, right, true, pure Law of God. Those who have violated the law will suffer as they are children of wrath.
And to top it all off, the devil will be cast down to the earth and he will be furious, for he knows he has little time—woe to the inhabitants of the earth.

They praise Him for being the Lord, the one from whom all things come, and God, the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the great I AM, and the Almighty, whom no one can thwart—for He who now is being.
They give a 7-fold thanks for: His great power, because He has reigned, which angered the nations, and His wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, to reward those who belong to Him, and to destroy those who now destroy the earth.
All of this occurs with the blowing of the 7th Trumpet that removes the bondservants of God and ushers in the time of Yahweh’s wrath. His rewards will be given to the bondservants (the prophets—or 2 witnesses), the holy ones-- the Old Testament believers who lived by faith and trusted themselves to Yahweh, and those who God caused to be fearing His name. Then He begins to destroy those who are now destroying the earth.

The resurrection of the two witnesses is what the Codex calls the “first resurrection.” There are only two resurrections depicted throughoutRevelation. The first resurrection is unto life, whereas the second resurrection is unto judgment and eternal damnation. Blessed and holy is the one who is now having a part in the first resurrection over these the second death will have no power.
The hour of judgment for the great city of religious apostasy arrives with a devastating earthquake. A tenth of the leadership within the religion of Christianity fall from their place of power and position. This is personal as the names of 7,000 were caused to be killed—most likely the leaders of this great city of religious apostasy. The rest were terrified and gave glory to God. But at the sound of the last trumpet (the 7th Trumpet), it is too late.
The judgment of the apostate system begins in the temple and is swift and firm as God will use the Beast and his demonic council to desolate the religion of Christianity. The 2nd WOE is past, now comes the 3rd WOE.

Those who rejoice over the two witnesses’ deaths are those whoseidentity and personhood are tied to this earth—the Accursed. Those who “namehas NOT been caused to be written, from the foundation of the world, inthe book of life of the Lamb who has been caused to being slain.”
The authority given to the two witnesses to turn blessingsinto judgments, to remove blessings, and to cause great calamity to strike theearth, is targeted at the Accursed. It is personal. For they send giftsto one another rejoicing over the death of believers.

The image of the Lampstand signifies purposes (lightbearers) and Zechariah makes it clear that from before the beginning of time, Plan-Awas that God would bring to Himself a collective of both Jews and Gentiles (bothtrees were set before Yahweh sometime in the past and still hold theirposition before Him), but the timing of their 1,260 days of witness tothe world (their light) would not be unified until sometime the time during thefirst 3.5-year period of the tribulation.
Thus, the lampstand, as an image, is the church of JesusChrist in its visible form, as it brings witness of the light of life to thoseliving under the moon—to those living in darkness. There will be a light thatcomes distinctly from the Jews and a light that comes distinctly from theGentiles, however, both move in accordance with one purpose in unity—to bringforth their prophetic message.
These witnesses will be hated, betrayed, persecuted, andultimately killed for speaking the truth. But in the end, the two witnesseswill win because they belong to Yahweh Adonai, the Lord of all theearth.

They will speak and declare Jesus’ words to theworld, both taking away blessing and bringing forth judgement. 2 is a number ofdivision and unity and speaks of two two witnesses that are divided inidentity, or heritage, but are unified in purpose: to give a unified witnessto the world.
1,260 speaks of the time we get to live in thelight (from the time of Christ until the rapture of the church and of thespecific time when Yahweh’s two witnesses are actively prophesying onthis earth). And “days” is Code for the light of Jesusbeing brought forth upon the world though His Lampstands (the vessels made of “reeds” through which His oil flows).
The two witnesses ARE the two olive trees and the twolampstands that before the Lord of the earth have been standing. The olivetrees speak of the two witnesses’ identity, what they are, but thepicture of the lampstands speaks more to their function or purpose: tobe bearers of light—to be a witness. This is a picture of the church collectivewherein which all Israel is saved.

John is also commanded to measure the golden altar of incense which was placed right in front of the curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies. There was to be a perpetual burning of incense on this altar throughout all generations. This is tied directly tied directly to the prayers of God’s people. This measurement means that from this time forth, God will only hear the prayers that come forth from the altar that is located in the Sanctuary—all other prayers will not be heard.
With the measurement of the Sanctuary, God is making a separation amongst those who are His priests and sets apart for Himself those who are now worshipping in the Sanctuary. These are the Called and Chosen and Faithful. These are those who have been caused to be redeeming from the earth—the 144,000 who have been caused to be redeemed from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
Accordingly, John is specifically told NOT to measure the courts which are outside the Sanctuary. In so doing, God makes a fixed distinction between those in the visible church and those whom He deems to be His true church, His true worshipers—the complete number of those who are now believing from both the Gentiles and the Jews.

In the same way, the Spirit is clear that the Destroyer (the Beast) now chooses to be opposingand now chooses to be exalting himself above all that is nowcaused to being called god or object of worship, so that he sits in the Sanctuaryof God, now displaying himself that he now is God. It is all happening now in the Spiritual sanctuary of the body of Christ.
This spirit of the Antichrist has infiltrated the religion of Christianity and has presented himself to the masses in Yahweh’shousehold as the true Messiah. He is even now being worshipped. The Lampstand in the Sanctuary is purposed to bring forth light illuminating all those whose duties are in the Sanctuary of God. Jesus is the flame, the producer of light. The Spirit is the oil, and those who are now believing are to be His “reeds” or His Lampstand through which the oil flows; and the wick that burns is a picture of each individual who bears light. True believers are the very vessel through which it all occurs. This is the measurement of the reed–those through whom the oil perpetually flows. This is the measurement by which humanity will be divided.
The Spirit makes a 3-part distinction in that John is commanded to measure 1) the Sanctuary, 2) the altar, and 3) those who are now worshipping in it?
1) He is contrasting the structure of the Sanctuary of God with the Temple at large.
2) He is contrasting the prayers offered at the altar of incense with the offering of prayers in general.
3) He is contrasting those priests who are now worshipping in the Sanctuary and those who are NOT, and who should be.

Revelation 11 addresses: The Sanctuary of God; The Final Division; The two Witnesses (Their Persecution, Death, and Resurrection); the Second Woe; the Seventh Trumpet; the Rapture; and the Preparation for the Time of Wrath. It is a chapter layered in time with what can only be described as a synonymic explosion of images.
God measures the Sanctuary (where only the Priests may enter). The Sanctuary is just a piece of the Temple at large; and by measuring it God stakes out His personal possession. This is the final division in-and-amongst the people within His household. This is a culling of the Chosen of the Chosen who live by grace through faith, from all others in the household of God who insist on living as slaves.
The Sanctuary is measured with a “reed” that is like a rod. A reed is a hollow, a human and angelic measurement, but being like a rod, the measurement will be accurate and true. The reed is connected with the Lampstand in the Sanctuary, and it is purposed to flow with oil—the oil of the Spirit which is to remain perpetually lit. This is the true measuring standard of God’s division.

When the Strong Angel finished, the 7-Thunders roared, but John was told to seal up, or keep secret, what the 7-Thunders had spoken. In the Codex, the 7-Thunders are so powerful that they set things into motion, things of creation in both the seen and the unseen realms. Although sealed, we will see the effects with the blowing of the 7thTrumpet. Once the 7th Trumpet blows, everything will be different, and the entirety of God’s enormous plan will begin to come to fruition.
Next, the strong angel swears by Him who lives forever and ever that the Sabbath Rest, promised to those who are now overcoming, has arrived. No more work, no more toil, no more suffering, and no more tears. It is now to be a time of rest. The time is now!
The mystery (with 9 facets) He has declared to His servants the prophets will be fulfilled—the final summation of all of God’s plans to redeem His chosen ones, to wed His chosen ones, to judge those who have loved lawlessness, to purify the earth through judgment and fire, to put an end to religion and spiritual profiteering, and to establish His rule and reign upon the earth and the sea.

Seven seals have been opened, six trumpets blown, and the seventh remains, and it is a trumpet of greatest hope, a trumpet of fulfillment, a trumpet of victory and glory, a trumpet of salvation, where the mysteries of God are brought to completion, while at the same time it is a trumpet that leads to unfathomable doom.
Suddenly, a strong angel, the Angel of Yahweh, appears, and He comes with a promise. He swears on His own word, by all of creation, that there will be no more delay. He has a sweet and bitter scroll of prophecy that He requires John to internalize to prepare John for the words and witness he will have to deliver, that “The kingdom of the world has chosen to become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” The rule of the nations is now rightfully returned to Yahweh, and the whole earth will be in subjection to His rule.
Yahweh will roar from on high, and from his holy habitation utter his voice; he will roar mightily against his fold, and shout, like those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. The clamor will resound to the ends of the earth, for Yahweh has an indictment against the nations; he is entering into judgment with all flesh, and the wicked he will put to the sword, declares Yahweh.

Many, due to their commitment to the work of their hands, are worshipping demons and will not repent of their idolatry of brass and of stone and of wood. The brass and stone both speak of judgment. The religion of Christianity exists because of the brass and the stone.
The law, your law, my law, anyone’s law brings forth judgment and condemnation. Jesus may forgive our sins, but for some reason other believers do not believe He really does, and so they do not.
As for the idol of wood, many Christians idolize the cross. Our sin did not put Jesus on the cross. The plan of the Father to find a bride for His Son put Jesus on the cross. We were conceived in sin, and so we sin because sin is infused into our very nature. Sin is not about who we are separate and distinct from the New Creation. Every thought, every breath, every movement that does not derive from the divine, from the only one who is good, is sin. But sin is just a tool used by the Father to accomplish His purposes to show us WHY we need to trust Him and How to trust Him.

Many within the household of God, due to their commitment to the work of their hands (what they do for God), will not repent of their idolatry—the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood which now can neither now see nor hear nor walk.
When life is terrible, filled with trouble and pressure and our suffering never seems to end, it feels that God DOES not love or help us. Hence, many seek some solution other than this mystical formula of “by grace through faith.” Hence, our idolatry.
In our idolatry, instead of worshipping only God, we worship and honor idols of gold and of silver—things connected to the divine and the angelic (things that are endemic in our religious culture). As a result, we venerate religious things, religious deeds, the angelic, all manner of personal and communal “holiness,” spiritual gifts and the gifted ones, and much like our veneration of “holiness” we also venerate religious and cultural godliness.

The “works of our hands” – our trying hard to be good for God and to serve Him, to being a holy witness, and our performing our religious disciplines amounts to the worship of demons and to idolatry because the source matters, the source is everything! If Jesus, the only one who is good, is not doing His works in-and-through our lives, our works are unholy offerings to the demonic.
The demonic loves religion, they love worship, and have always mimicked God in an attempt to persuade mankind to honor and worship them. They work to convince “believers” that the work of their hands is worthy, honorable, holy, righteous, and fitting for good Christians.
The Codex gives us a view behind the veil where the “Kings of the Earth” are the spiritual beings who have been given authority over the nations. To name a few, there is Baal, Ashtoreth, Astarte, Milcom, Molech, Chemosh, Jupiter or Zeus, Beelzebub, Rimmon, Marduk. Belial, and Dagon. They are the true powers behind their human counterparts. Still, Yahwehis in control and these rulers report to Him in the heavenly council and unbeknownst to them, they carry out His will.

Our willingness to now believe is contrasted with those who will NOTrepent of the work of their hands. God requires our willingness to let Him eradicate the enemies in our soul so that we might now come to abide in peace, rest, fruitfulness, and security. It is God’s job to choose “when” and “where” to go to war and our job to is to let Him.
He desires honesty from within – to admit that areas not rooted in faith will never produce peace, rest, fruitfulness, and security. This honesty is the impetus to our willingness cry out to Yahweh Yasha to do what His name promises: to free, deliver, or save us from ourselves. He will do the work, but it must be accomplished by grace through faith as He teaches us WHY we need to believe in His name and HOW to now be believing in His name. Anything else is just another work of our hands.
In the honesty of our neediness, in our cry for deliverance, and in our willingness to wait for Jesus to deliver us and transform us, we are choosing to live like that little child dependent upon God for all things, all the time, thereby securing our entry into the Kingdom of God.

By grace through faith and not a result of “works” is the way of the Spirit and is the secret of what it means to be found to be in Christ. The Spirit specifies “if” anyone is in Christ as a contraposition with those who are now in the flesh. It is a fiction that one is “in Christ” simply because they said the “sinners’ prayer.”
To be “in Christ” is a statement on our willingness to abide in His grace where our relationship with God is never about the “work of our hands,” but always and only about what He does in-and-through our lives. It is through our choosing to now be believing this truth that we become partakers of Christ or are found to be “in Christ.”
We are to simply now be believing that He is our Yahweh Tsidkenu, our only goodness, our only righteousness knowing we can add nothing to who He is, what He is, or what He does. All must be by grace through faith. We are yoked by faith, and we carry the burden of willingness. The rest is grace, and it is all up to Him! And those who are now believing come to know His peace, rest, fruitfulness, and security.
Anything else is a false religion!

After 5-months of torture at the hands of the locust-like demons and then with the killing of one out of every three people, still no one repents of the work of their hands (all their attempts to serve, honor, and please God to obtain His favor, blessing, and forgiveness). To God these are unclean offerings: lawlessness.
There is a fiction surrounding what it means to be “in” Christ lurking behind this refusal to repent. To be found “in” Christ is not a result of a “prayer” but a result of a surrendered life where one chooses to become a little child dependent upon God for all things all the time, including one’s righteousness which cannot be derived from anything a person does, but only from Yahweh Tsidkenu. To be “in” Christ is to live a life where all things come by grace-through-faith (what God does as a result of our now believing) where faith is a now thing. This is how one exercises that choice to become a child of God and not just a resident in His household that is still bound to law, still trying to please God through all they do for God.
Yahweh wants us only to be willing to invite Him to come strip us of all our tendencies to live like a slave instead of a Son who dwells in unrestrained freedom.

With the sounding of the sixth trumpet, we are given the second of three doomsday type warnings to those who dwell on the earth! In an answer to the prayers of the souls under the brazen altar, there is uttered a cry for vengeance which comes forth from the Altar of Incense.
Then 4 angels who have been bound by the river Euphrates (which means bursts or gushes forth) are released and they in turn unleash death on the earth. With their release, a huge incalculable army of demonic spirits bursts or gushes forth, and they kill one-third of the earth, and it happens on a very specific hour, day, month, and year (which is likely Codefor a period of 391 days).
The Spirit gives us a detailed description of the demonic army on weaponized horses. The horses’ power is now in their mouths and their tails. Through fear and intimidation and powerful leadership, on-the-one-hand, and lying, deceit, false prophecies, and errant teachings, on-the-other-hand, that people are even now wounded by these horses and are set up to be killed by the plagues of fire and smoke and brimstone. “Nothing like it has been seen before or will ever be seen again.”

This section reveals to us the secret identity of the Beast, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, which means “destruction” and Apollyon in Greek, which means “destroyer.” This is the spirit that empowers the man we call the Antichrist. The Beast is one of the greatest of all the angels ever created by God, being one of the “first of the ways of God.” He will get supercharged by Lucifer as this Dragon gives the Beast his power, and his throne, and great authority.
Throughout the Codex, we find that the Destroyer was used by God as a means of bringing destruction against many nations. He also manifested himself to humanity and demanded to be worshiped as a god known as Chemosh. He crossed some line with God and was imprisoned in the Abyss. But upon his release at the 5th Trumpet, he will take on the mantle of God declaring that he is God. His release along with the army of locust-like demonic beings with scorpion tails that will lie, seduce, and deceive people to follow the Beast is the first of three WOES.

The Spirit gives us a detailed up-front and personal description of the locust-like demonic army that escapes from the Abyss. They have a king over them, and his name in Hebrew is Destruction (or destroying angel) and in Greek, it is the Destroyer. This is the demon that will possess the man we call the Antichrist (although the man is never mentioned in Revelation, only the demonic spirit that possesses him). Throughout, this demonic spirit is called the “Beast”
The Beast is not the dragon (or Satan), for the dragon gives the Beast his throne, power, and great authority; hence, supercharging the Beast. The dragon (Satan) is NOT the Beast.
The locust-like demons are in effect the Beast’s personal security detail and their job is to torture those in his kingdom to keep them in line. They are the Beast’s enforcers. They are described by 8 similes.
They are like horses prepared for battle—they are going to war. They have crowns of victory like gold. They are deceivers. They have faces of men and are high ranking demons who deceive mankind. They had hair like women, teeth like lions, and breastplates like iron. But their true power is in their tails, it is the power of prophetic deception, and their sting is torturous. For 5 months people will writhe in pain and agony.

The first woe. The 5th Trumpet is blown which ushers in one of the most pivotal moments in Revelation, for the Beast from the Abyss (the demonic being who will possess the man we call the Antichrist) is released into the world along with his army of locust-like demons. Like a curse and a plague these demons invade the realm of mankind.
These demons have a unique super-power, the power of scorpions: the power to sting and torment the human body, a torment that lasts 5 months. They are not permitted to kill, just to torture. Men will want to die, but God will remove death from them. They must face the full terror of this judgment.
Yahweh limits their activity as they are permitted to sting only those who do not have the signet of God on their foreheads and who have no spiritual live remaining within them. People who now exist separate from the Grace of God have an appointment with these locust-like demons and with their unique form of demonization, and they cannot escape the torment. It is their destiny!

With the blowing of the 3rdtrumpet, a great star falls from heaven and is even now being made to be burning, just like it is even now being called “wormwood.” The use of the presenttense indicates that this star exists and is active. However, this burning is not like the volcanic flame of a mountain ready to spew hot fire, rather, it is more akin to a lamp—a burning torch. In other words, this flame illuminates and is the demonic spirit referred to as the False Prophet that illuminates the greatness of the Beast.
The poisoning of fresh water is a picture of the apostasy of believers who drink the waters of false religion. One-third will be corrupted and made bitter. A third of the religious institutions will also follow the tenets of the Beast proffered by the False Prophet.
With the entry of the False Prophet, the unholy trinity is completed: Satan, the Beast, and the False Prophet. Thus, with the 4th trumpet, religious institutions fall and are consumed by darkness. Fear will grow. An angel proclaims, woe, woe, woe – the 3 woes associated with the blowing of the next 3-trumpet judgments. Things are about to get even worse!

Revelation 8: Overview: The Opening of the Seventh Seal and the First Four Trumpet Judgments. 7 is the number of completions, the end of the 7-seal judgments- and the introduction of the next phase, the 7 trumpet judgments. Silence in heaven should make everyone nervous and in the midst of the quiet comes 7 angels who hold 7 trumpets. An angel takes a hot coal from the altar of incense in the tabernacle of God and flings it to earth. This unleashes thunder, lightning, and an earthquake. This begins the supernatural invasion of the natural realms.
We are given a composite of images that are linked. They start with the great apostasy spoken about by Jesus where the hearts of a third of mankind have grown cold, agapelove is depleted, and the spiritual life of mankind is pulverized, burned up, deadened to the things of God, marked for death by blood. Things are burned up, turned to blood, made bitter, rotted out, and they become darkened; it is a synonymity and an intricate composition that communicates the time when the kingdom of the Beast is ushered into this world.

The blowing of the first trumpet judgment exposes the great apostasy of those in the household of God. One third of the institutions of man (political, corporate, financial, etc.), a third of the great leaders of man, and 100% of all those who still have some sort of spiritual life within them, will be pulverized by the hail, burned by the fire, and marked by the blood (a reference to the Called of God, those in God’s household who have yet to make the choice to be a Chosen one of God).
With the blowing of the second trumpet judgement, we see the emergence of the kingdom of the Beast (a great mountain that is burning) onto the world platform (the sea), and the impact is immense. one third of the governmental institutions that drive the tumult amongst the nations and one third of those who are beholden to the activity of world politics will join with this kingdom—the people from governments, military, and political groups operating amongst the nations who deliberately choose to join the Beast.
In addition, there will be Christian institutions that once identified with Jesus, as fishers of men, who become have so rotted over time that they also become part of the kingdom of the Beast.

The question still lingers, who are the 144,000 – all those people from every tribe, tongue, and nation? They are those who are even now choosing to be coming out of the great tribulation. This is not an image pointing us to something in the future, but to those who are now overcoming and now believing.
Even now, people are continually choosing to NOT be marked by the Beast with the number of his name (666), choosing that Jesus is their only source of righteousness and purity, believing that without Him they can do nothing. Thus, they are guaranteed to NOT participate in the great tribulation. They will participate in the first resurrection, the rapture of the church.
Accordingly, the bondservants of Jesus Christ are now before the throne of God and they now serve, or literally “minister” to Him day and night in the Holy Place or the inner sanctuary of His temple, the “naos”—the place that only priests can enter. And in the future, He will dwell with them, and they will neither hunger nor thirst, but He will throughout their lives comfort them from the heat of affliction and shepherd them to waters of life. And in the future, He will wipe away ever tear.

We covered this odd list of tribes and focused on those that were deleted from this list. Now, we look at the inclusions of tribes that we would not otherwise find in any normal list of the tribes of Israel.
Levi was not a distinct tribe with its own territory, but Levi made its home amongst the other tribes. Levi is Code for the bondservants of God comprised of both Gentile (identified with Ephraim) and Jewish believers—they are priests of God and minister before Him. As such God has never lacked a “Levite” to serve before Him as priest and to offer spiritual sacrifices, offerings unto God.
Joseph restores the relationship of the First Born—Manasseh. Manasseh is listed first as a separate tribe and then again as the heir of Joseph, receiving a 2x portion, that of the first born. This speaks of the remnant of Jews grafted back into the vine as the bondservants of Jesus. But since Ephraim was also a son of Joseph, it speaks of the gathering of Gentile people from every tribe, tongue, and nation in which Ephraim has been scattered.
And all Israel will be saved, just as it is written. And this image is portrayed through this great collective, this massive gathering of believers in white standing before the throne and before the lamb—the bondservants of Jesus Christ, both Jew and Gentile.

Here we have a fascinating list in the Code revealed by the number 144,000 but also in the Code communicated through the various tribes of Israel. The list is unusual, and this is the only place this combination of “tribes” shows up in the Codex.
This number is like the image of the 24 elders (12+12), the collection of Jews and Gentile believers who are even now sitting on their thrones. The list is meant to be understood through the picture which follows (verses 9-17) of the great gathering of people from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
In the New Testament, Israel(or the “Israel of God”) is Code for the collection of all those who are now believing and now overcoming and who endure to the end—hence, all Israel will be saved. In the tribal list, Ephraim and Dan are deleted. The tribe of Dan is connected to the demonic, to the Beast (being marked on the right hand), so it is obviously deleted. And Ephraim was assimilated into the nations, and has become a multitude of gentile nations, and is marked on the forehead, indicating that those in the household of God will be followers of the Beast.
But there is hope for Ephraim due to the inclusion in this list of Levi and Joseph.

The 6th seal was opened, our perspective is moved from heaven to earth, with a bizarre string of 6-images: The earthquake, the sun became black as sackcloth, the whole moon became like blood, the stars of the sky fell to the earth, the sky was split apart like a scroll when being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their place. This is a judgment against all the structures upon which manrelies for safety and security, as this speaks of political, social, and religious upheaval on the earth.
This is the promised SHAKING of the earth. It will be sudden, and it will be unexpected. “While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.” Jesus even likened it to the days of Noah where people will be eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until it hits them like the flood hit the people of Noah’s day—suddenly and without mercy.
Everyone in the world will be hiding from the anger of the Lamb trying to find one rock to hide under for protection, but they will find none. All men and women come to know that the time of the Lamb’s judgment has arrived.

Seal 5 is opened. John saw the souls of those having been slain for the word of God and for the witness or the testimony they had borne. These “souls” have yet to receive their new bodies which Jesus promised would be given to His bondservants at the time of the rapture. Yet all true believers who are killed during the first 3.5-years of the tribulation take part in the first resurrection, which is a reference to the rapture. They will also be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. There is a special promise given to the bride of Christ, and that is that they will receive new bodies, supernatural bodies, like Jesus had after His resurrection. They will not be bodiless souls throughout eternity. However, the event that ushers in the transformation from the mortal to the immortal is not death, but the rapture of the Church or the first resurrection.
These souls have been being slain or sacrificed for Christ and now they cry out for vengeance. They acknowledge that their deaths were God’s plan, but they know God used those who positioned themselves in this world to be an instrument to shed the blood of these saints. So, they cry “How long oh Lord.” They are told to rest with the understanding that there still needs to be more killing—and it is happening even now.

With the opening of the 4th seal, there becomes a merger between the spiritual and physical realms. The 4th horse and rider address God’s creative works from one end of the earth to the other. The pale green or ashen horse is released, and its angelic rider is identified as “Death” and he has an angelic companion that travels with him identified as “Hades”. Hades follows Death in purpose, they accompany one another and are one the same journey, having been granted authority to kill a fourth of the earth. Killing is their fundamental purpose for existence.
Their power to give is over those whose abode is made in the earthly realms, specifically the Called of God, those in His household who have not become Chosen. This is a spiritual identification based on those whose identity is wrapped up in this world.
They kill with sword, famine, death, and wild beasts of the earth. The sword exposes all the wrong belief and unbelief in those who should abide in life but have chosen to abide in spiritual Death. The famine will prevent people from receiving the truth, they will not be able to hear the word of God. They will be killed with the Second Death, the Lake of Fire. And their lives will be ravaged by demonic spirits.
According to the Code, the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse (of the unveiling or the revelation) are not specifically tied to the events of the End Times.

Seal 2 is opened and unleashes the red horse. This horse and rider are given a sword to divideand to remove peace from the earth, to set people against one another, so that men would literally butcher, slaughter, and maim one another. The removal of peace extends wars and to all other means of violence that occurs in our homes, neighborhoods, towns, villages, cities, states, provinces, countries, etc., whether motivated by greed, avarice, jealousy, covetousness, revenge, racial prejudice, or class prejudice, and it extends beyond slaughter to sexual violence, family violence, school violence, and-on-and-on it goes.
Seal 3 is opened, and we see a black horse with a beam in his hand. The activities of this black horse are happening even now. We are not waiting until the End Times for this event. The picture speaks of the overall value and worth which the darkness attributes to the Jew and the Christian who have been inextricably linked in “servitude” so-to-speak, to Yahweh. And with the mention of the Oil and the Wine, there is a promise for some level of protection and just treatment to those Jews and Gentiles who are now abiding in the Spirit of God.

It is often presumed that with the opening of the scrolls, the End Times or the “7-year Tribulation” begins, but some of the events that are unleashed by the opening of the seals are even NOW occurring and have been occurring every moment of our now, since the time of the unveiling.
The white horse and rider are released and told to ride. White speaks of purity and righteousness. There is NEVER EVER, EVER a time all throughout the Bible where white speaks of deception, fraud, or duplicity. The idea that this horse is the Antichrist, per modern fiction, is inconsistent with the Code, and the imagery of white.
This rider has gone forth and wherever he goes he has victory—he is even now conquering, and his victories are rooted in righteousness and purity indicating that this horse and rider best represents the going forth of the gospel. Since this horse had been sent out and is even now conquering, and this has been true since the gospel was first preached, this horse will continue to have victory until the time of the rapture of the church.

The Lamb takes the scroll from the one who chooses to now be sitting on the throne and our attention is drawn to the only one who is worthy, the one who chose to give up His glory and do the unthinkable, become a man (which was one huge sacrifice), and then chose to sacrifice His life for the sins of the entire world. Sacrifice is a key theme throughout the Revelation narrative, and it defines the Chosen of God. Yahweh’s bondservants are and will be required to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and be a willing sacrifice. Next, spontaneous worship breaks out in heaven. The Four living beings and the 24 Elders fell down in worship, and then the myriads and myriads of angels. Soon all creation worships the Lamb. There are 3 spontaneous outbursts honoring the Lamb, providing a PERFECT worship of Yahweh Adonai. Amen” – “So Be It!”

John sees a scroll in heaven in the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. This scroll was sealed with 7-seals. No one was worthy to take the scroll. This truth crushed John as he thought that some man should be worthy, whether it is Enoch, Noah, Moses, Daniel, Job, or even himself. But none were worthy—no man could take the scroll. Only the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the one who conquered sin and death, and who is imaged as a Lamb having been slain, was worthy to take the scroll. This lamb has seven eyes, or complete sight provided by the Spirit of God, and seven horns. This gentle lamb who gave up His life for all, is now ready to fight and conquer all who stand in opposition to Him.

In Revelation 4:8-11 we are washed over with praise and worship from the Four living creatures and from the 24-Elders. The Four start with acknowledging Adonai El Shaddai, the one who is the ultimate sovereign over all the affairs of our lives, the one who is great and mighty such that the Four declare holy, holy, holy acknowledging that the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are separate and set apart from all others. Nothing and no one are like Adonai El Shaddai.
The Four state that He WAS, addressing the incarnation of the Godhead in the person of Jesus Christ; that He is the one who is now being, as He is the I AM, our ever-present answer, source, and our solution to our every need; and the one who IS NOW choosing to be coming. He is the one who is now being; thus, everything about Him is a present and ongoing reality. To Him there is no future, for He sits outside of time, and He is now being, and He is even now choosing to be coming to us as our I AM.
The 24-Elders then join in worship. The image points us forward to the full gathering of the church of Jesus Christ, but it also reveals that true believers are even now seating in the heavenly places with Him, and they are even now saying: Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created." All things exists and all things find their life in Him, hence, He alone is worthy. Even the Evil Ones are created beings and owe their all to Yahweh, as He uses them to fulfill His purposes on behalf of His chosen ones who will understand this truth and cast their crowns at His feet and worship only Him.

The Four creatures around the throne are like the Cherubim (the faces, the eyes) and to the Seraphim (the wings). However, these Four living creatures do not have 4 faces, each creature has only one face: that of a lion, a man, an eagle, and a cow, respectively. Each face has overtones to the gospels: Matthew (Lion), Luke (Man), John (Eagle), and Mark (Ox). The Four have a unique role in protecting the saints of God.
The Four and their faces are also Code revealing deep secrets about apostasy, the Antichrist, the Kingdom of the Beast and the rescue of Israel from the Beast.
The Four are positioned “in the center and around” the throne like bodyguards, or sentries. The primary job of the Four is always about ministering, or rendering service, to those who will inherit salvation. They are like a protective detail of security provided to those who sit on the twenty-four thrones, the completed body of Christ, the royal priests of the Lord. And with eyes all over their bodies and wings, they see every threat, from any direction, that might come against the Chosen ones of God.
Their position around the throne, around the 24 Elders is also a beautiful picture of the cross and the work Jesus would do to guide His own to the Promised Land.

John’s First Glimpse into the Heavenly Realms, the Throne of God, and the Worship of Him Who Was, Who Is Being, and Who is Now Choosing to be Coming. John saw a door that had previously been opened by God and was remaining open. Jesus was calling John or commanding him to come up to His great Assembly and get His perspective of things, to come up before Him that he might understand how things function in the heavenly realms and how the spiritual impacts us in our natural realms.
Jesus commanded John to “come up here” but John still had to make a choice to obey this command. John then sees Jesus sitting on His throne—His seat of ultimate authority. The color of the throne alludes to both sacrifice and promise and reiterates the truth that He is the first and the last, the one who prophetically declares what will be and then ensures that it all comes to fruition, exactly as He said.
Surrounding the throne of God, John saw 24-thrones and 24-elders. The imagery describing these thrones and elders is composed of all the elements we were shown in the letters to the churches. This image of God’s heavenly council represents the full and complete witness of God to all of creation, the completed bride of Christ where the two nations, both Gentiles and Jews, become one in Christ while still retaining their unique differences.
Around the throne, there is also “something like a sea of glass”, like crystal, is an image of the cleansing of God’s Chosen ones, those who are even now overcoming, having been purified through judgment and fire.

The Revelation is a book that with every turn of the page we find a wonderful surprise to which we can look forward both for our Eternity Now and for our Eternity Then. In this episode we will address the letters to the churches and the prophetic way they are linked in terms of the promises which Jesus makes to those who are now overcoming.
To those who are now believing, He spoke only blessing and encouragement, but to those in Ephesus, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, and even Laodicea, He spoke terrifying words of judgment bringing up such ghastly things as the Second Death, Great Tribulation, falling away (apostasy), removing the Lampstand, waging war with the sword of His mouth, Killing with Death, and vomiting them out of His mouth. Yes, all these were spoken to those who identified as Christians, for all of them had been converted by God (they took Step 1) but had not chosen to take Step 2and become that little child dependent only upon God determined to live by grace through faith (and remember, faith is always a now thing).
What He does and says in His jealous love is never a reaction as we would understand it, but it is an interaction, and opportunity for His people to repent (or to agree with Him) and return to Him in active belief. As He said to those in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea, “I know your deeds.” Nothing we do catches Him off-guard or by surprise. He knows. And because He knows, His jealous nature interacts with those He pursues in His love to bring their choice to the surface—to their conscience level of comprehension. He simply asks us to accept Him for who He is, with no reservation.

Jesus is their friend, but He now wants to become their lover. He commands them to choose to be zealous, or hot (like the healing waters of Hierapolis), and to have their life defined by repentance—but with this reference to being zealous and its overtones to the healing waters of Hierapolis, He is hinting at His purpose for standing at the door and knocking. He desires their deep inner healing.
Yahweh has taken His position at the door, and He has always been there. Yahweh Shammah is there and has never taken His eyes or His attention off them or us. He has been waiting for the right time to knock. But He now knocks. Now is the time.
Starting in life, the doors to our soul are open, but as we experience pain and trauma (wounds) from our family, friends, loved ones, and from the world at large, we start to shut those doors determined to protect ourselves to ensure that we will never be hurt that way again by those who should have protected, cared for, and loved us.
Jesus loves us too much to leave us in that condition. Therefore, He hangs out in the corridor of our soul watching and waiting, and when the time is right to deal with the troubles in a specific room, He goes to that door, and He knocks. His goal is to secure our willingness to open the door so He can establish relationship, fellowship, and healing in every room that we have shut tight.

To find healing from their sick condition, Jesus instructs them to buy from Him gold having been refined in the fire. If we are willing, the Father will use the fire of sufferings to teach us obedience and to perfect us in Him, just as He did with Jesus.
God’s goal is to have His nature fill and inhabit our bodies, hence, He has to remove all that is in the way of His occupancy. There is all necessary to learn why we should put off the old nature and how to put on the new nature. And Yahweh is not targeting our sinful behavior, as that is just a fruit of what we believe and what we feel and think. He is targeting the sin of wrong belief and the unbelief which is buried down in the deep recesses our soul, as these “enemies” keep us from betting our lives on Yahweh.
He wants us to buy from Him white garments and be covered only with His righteousness, discarding the self-sufficiency of our flesh. All our own coverings are woefully insufficient, nothing but filthy rags. And He wants us to buy from Him eye salve, so we can see the truth and by the power of the Holy Spirit break through our bias and personal delusion of self-sufficiency. This will allow us to begin to see from the heavenly perspective—as He sees all in and around our lives.

The Church at Laodicea P1. Overall Theme: Let Me In
Those in Laodicea are NOT hiding behind their religious deeds, they are not comingling their faith with demonic idolatry, they are not lusting after the riches of religion, and they are not manipulating others with spirituality to control and dominate them. They have not fallen into the apostasies of Cain, Balaam, or Korah.
As such, Jesus takes a markedly different approach because they are apostasy free, and not given to other lovers (spiritually speaking). They are misinformed, misguided, and lost, but they are not using His name as a platform for their instinctual religious wisdom.
Because God hates religion, but is in love with the wayward son, Jesus talks to them like a faithful friend, a true witness to their spiritual condition and to the remedy they need. They are deluded to their true condition and have embraced the lie of self-sufficiency. And He is going to show them the extent of their true neediness and that He is their only Provider and Protector.

Jesus now comes quickly, so he wants us to hold fast to what we now have. In our endurance, Jesus promises to come and protect over the choice we have made to live as a Chosen one, a bondservant of Jesus Christ. We must be alert for there are those who are actively hunting believers, who want to steal their crown. The secret however to enduring and holding on to the crown of victory is to enter through the open door and seek and find provision from the Father. He promises, “If you make Yahweh your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you.”
He promises those who persevere that He will make them stable like an unmovable pillar that when the shaking occurs, they will remain. And they will be marked with a name implies ownership, belonging, and permanence. But we need to be those who stop going in-and-out of the temple of God seeking what we want (in effect, denying His name), but instead choose to remain safely protected in our proper place with Him: steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

Jesus said that there were those who say they believe but are of a synagogue of Satan. This entire concept of those who are not now of God but are of a synagogue of Satan is consistent with what we studied in the Prelude in 1 John 5:19, “We know that we are now of God, and that the whole world now chooses to lie in the power of the evil one.”
It is quite binary and a bit shocking. There is no middle ground. One is either a son of God or they choose to now lie in the power of the evil one, and their father is the devil. Hence, they worship in a synagogue or a church of Satan. Jesus will humiliate those who belong to the synagogue of Satan, even though they drape themselves in the clothing, appearance, and authority of God. They have chosen to now be liars and to misrepresent Yahweh.
Because of this fact, God is always big on our need to endure—to now be believing in His name, regardless of what He must take us through. With endurance is how those in Philadelphia lived. They lived with the purpose of enduring and persevering through all things. And as a result, He will keep them from the hour of testing.

The Church at Philadelphia: Overall Theme: Hold on & Seek Refuge
It is possible for a person, a people group, a church, to even now be believing or abiding in Christ. All that we have learned about the Design Point, the Substitution Principle, and how the source matters, the source is everything, can practically be lived out.
Jesus assures them that because His very nature is holy, Yahweh Mekoddishkem (Yahweh who sanctifies, makes holy, or sets apart) has set them apart for Himself. Thus, even though they suffer intense persecution, they can hold on to the one who is true (the one who will not lie nor deceive them). They can endure all things knowing that Yahweh is in control and that He is circumcising them from all attachments to this world, so they will never be identified as those who are now dwelling on earth.
Jesus confirms that He is the only way a person can have access to the Father. He opens the door, and He shuts the door. Yet, He has opened and will keep open the door for them to come before the Father any time they want. As He said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one chooses to now come to the Father but through me.” With little strength drawing on His provision, they have kept His word of perseverance and not denied His name. They have lived what they say they believe and bet their lives on who He says He is and who He says we are to Him.

The Thessalonian church is an example of those who will be rescued from the wrath to come. Their faith is described as a work of faith and labor of agape love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father. Therefore, Jesus chooses to now deliver them from the wrath to come as He is justifying and reconciling those who let Him, those who choose to let Him be their I AM.
Wrath is not an appointment God has set aside for those He has called into His household, rather, it is a decision, a choice they make for judgment.
A few, a ridiculously small number, in Sardis walked by faith trusting in God’s righteousness and God’s goodness and relied on the Spirit of God for the source of their works. Thus, their names will not be erased from the Lamb’s book of life, and Jesus will confess their good name before the Father and all the heavenly realms.

God’s promises of protection from the wrath to come are given to His bondservants—the Chosen—to those who are deemed to be “in Christ.” But He will be clearing His threshing floor and, in His wrath, bring about a judgment of the religious masses within His household who do not live by grace through faith and therefore CANNOT bear good fruit which comes only through Jesus as a person clings to Him as a branch clings to the vine.
Those who love their own goodness and hide behind their tall steep walls of “church worthy” deeds will find themselves on the other side of the rapture, deep within the time of the Lord’s Great wrath.
In contrast, those who are now believing are literally saved by His life in theirs, and this is a promise for those who have been reconciled, who have entered into a mutual agreement with Him to no longer function with one another based on law, for it is through the death of the Son that we are reconciled to God. It is a mutual agreement to function based on grace through faith—what He did and what He does. It is always about what He did and what He does.

The Church at Sardis: Overall Theme: Spiritual Delusion=Death The Spirit’s command is that we repent and change how we think about our strong walls of good religious deeds. We must be willing to let God change what we believe about all our church worthy deeds, and what we believe about our need to be dependent upon Jesus for ALL things ALL the time. Jesus warns them (and us) that if we do not wake up and watch He will come like a thief to plunder and disposes from those things that hinder their life, but they will not know the hour He comes, even though He comes when they need him most, when they are abiding in the darkness of night. But since they will not be ready, they will be left naked, exposed for their powerless religion.
And when He does come for His Chosen ones, they will find themselves on the other side of the rapture suffering through the day of the Lord’s Wrath.

The Church at Sardis Overall Theme: Spiritual Delusion=Death Many churches, and therefore the spiritual lives of many individuals, have not been founded upon the truth revealed by the Spirit of God. That is not to say that their foundations are void of the truth or of that which has been revealed by the Spirit of God, but it is not complete or secured in Christ. It all starts with one big lie and a faulty and cracked foundation stone. when a person begins their spiritual journey with a lie, it is no wonder that years later they are left with nothing but a stack of lies. Having built their security on a lie, the Sardisians ignored the Substitution Principle: His wisdom for ours, His ways for ours, His deeds for ours, His love for ours, His truth for ours, He security for ours, His provision for ours.
We should always be aware of the reality that we love delusion. We love to clothe ourselves in the delusion of goodness. Therefore, as the Spirit instructed, we should test ourselves to see if we are in the faith—to see if we live in abject neediness for Jesus, living like little children, doing only what our Father wants us to do, and nothing more (despite what the religious culture, our conscience, or our own church folk may demand of us) and then doing such things only when He tells us to do His works.

Revelation 3
Overview: Jesus’s Letters to Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. Religion is Lambasted and Faithfulness in Humility is Honored.
The Church at Sardis
Overall Theme: Spiritual Delusion=Death
This is one of the hardest letters for those within the religion of Christianity. It speaks of an unimaginable reality where a church with a grand reputation for being alive in Christ is in fact dead. In God’s eyes they were completely lawless, for none of their works (yes, NONE) were performed before the face of the Father. What they did “for God” was not the work of Christ. Rather, they did what they believed good Christians should do, without regard for the appointments that God had set aside for them to do and the work which Christ would have done in-and-through them.
Despite their grand reputation, Jesus says they are dead and dying. In essence, they were spiritual zombies. And even what little life they had was about to die. They are exhorted to be watching, to be vigilant and strengthen what little remains before it is too late.

There will come a time when His Chosen ones will no longer be ruled by the Jezebels of our day and other false authorities, for Jesus will rule. In turn, He will hand His rule over to those who are now overcoming and now keeping His deeds until the end. He will literally give His bondservants the power over the nations of the earth (in the Greek, the ethnicities of the world), and they will rule the ethnicities with a rod of iron.
Jesus will conquer and judge the nations and afterwards His bondservants will shepherd them. But their rule will be firm and unbending, like iron for His bondservants are granted the very same authority from Jesus which His Father gave to Him.
They are also granted the morning star, which speaks of unimaginable power that is accessible to us in this life, and that is the power which comes through hope. Jesus is the source of the true prophetic word, and His Word gives us Hope, or light in a dark place, until the one who is our Hope takes possession of our being and shines in-and-through our lives as we walk by faith.

Jesus is addressing the doctrine that is associated with the deep of Satan, specific teaching which captured the heart, minds, and soul of many believers. This teaching stands in stark contrast to the good teaching which resulted in deeds of “agape love, and faith and service and perseverance,” all of which were growing in that community of believers.
What Satan wants is what he has always wanted, that which belongs to the Son—both His throne and His people.
The spirit of antichrist is found operating deep within the leadership of our churches, and far too many have taken the bite. They speak with prophetic authority, as Judesays, authority which came from their dreams and visions. And they use this authority, inspired by the deep of Satan, to seduce and capture people unto themselves with all manner of instinctual religious wisdom—licentiousness really, lawlessness.
“For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” “But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, ‘In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.’ These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.”

The Church at Thyatira Overall Theme1: The Word of God Must Be Our Ultimate Authority. Overall Theme 2: God Really Does Hate Religion—All the Unauthorized Things Done in His Name. We need to learn how the Spirit leads us in truth, and then only do what He is now leading us to do when He is leading us to do it. We must let His word be authoritative.
Jezebel led her “children” of Thyatira into compromise, likely to participate in the trade guilds and all their ceremonies which exalted other gods. Her message, as if spoke from God, led her followers into idolatry. God gives Jezebel time to repent, but she refuses. So He casts her on a bed of judgment. And He also brings judgment on her followers who refuse to repent saying that He will kill them with death.
He promises to now bring judgment with a purpose: to urge them to repent while there is still time. For Jezebel, the time to repent has run out, but they still have time. Drawing from His introduction as the Son of God, it is as if Jesus is asking them: “I identify as the Son of God, are you going to identify as a son of God?”
He will move and bring about judgment on these children of Jezebel so all the churches, whether times past, present, or future, will choose to know, that “I AM” He who is now searching the innermost mind or conscience of a person (literally the kidneys) and their heart is righteous and true in all His judgments, because He knows all things.

Overall Theme 2: God Really Does Hate Religion—All the Unauthorized Things Done in His Name.
In Thyatira,Jezebel, the prophetess, used her spiritual gifting as the basis for her authority in the church, notwithstanding the fact that she was channeling a spirit other than the Spirit of God. Therefore, Jesus makes a clear distinction between His words and her words. His are the words of the “Son of God”. Thus, His words trump those of this prophetess, and His words are the ones to which they should give heed. Jezebel is just a vessel; in contrast, He is the source of ultimate authority! As we have learned, the source matters, the source is everything!

Jesus then says that if they do not repent, He will choose to now come quickly. This has overtones to His Second Coming. It also is a firm promise that He will come in their now and personally invade their time and space in judgment giving them the opportunity to learn why they should repent.
Yahweh can go to war and with just a word bring about judgment and death. This may come through many agencies: angels, governments, bad people, etc., but it comes from the word of truth which He spoke that set everything into motion such that His will is done in earth as it is in heaven.
When God leads us through extended times where we may only have the basics, He is testing our hearts to see if we will choose to live in the humility of grace or whether we will succumb to the lusts of the eyes and the lust of the flesh and take, or demand, what we NOW want!
With the white stone, Jesus is addressing that deep need within our being to be special, to be the one, to be unique, honored, and chosen before others. And with the new name, He communicates that We are Special, Chosen, Wanted, Loved, and Adored by Jesus. He has given each of us our very own new name which is shared exclusively with Him—a name that is established upon His righteousness and not our own!

There were those in Pergamum who put a stumbling block before these believers, just like Balaam did before the sons of Israel. This instruction seems to be all about relationship, or better said, unauthorized relationships, those not established by the Father. Instead of encouraging the people to wait on Yahweh Adonai and Yahweh Raahto provide relationship in His timing, they gave them reasons they could take what they needed now.
As we eat the things sacrificed to idols, the next step is to “commit immorality”. Once a person gives themselves to another in deep desirous intimacy, and that other person becomes their answer, their provision, their satisfaction, the one with whom they cannot live without, from a spiritual perspective, they have started to “commit immorality”.
Waiting on God to be our source of provision, especially for love and intimacy, is one of the hardest things there is to do. Thus, idolatry and committing acts of immorality are rooted in dissatisfaction, being disappointed with the way Yahweh Raah is leading our life.

Letter to Pergamum: Overall Theme: Wait for Me—I Will Satisfy!
Jesus thoroughly understands the difficulties of living where Satan’s throne is set. Thus, His name is to be the filter through which we pass all things: all thoughts, emotions, experiences, and so on. He wants us to know Him by His name and to hold fast to his name by living desperately, needy for Him in all things all of the time. The more the enemy is present and active in our lives, the more we are given the opportunity to choose how we will live: like little children, dependent upon Yahweh, or like the Nicolaitans dependent upon our own spirituality—our own goodness. Over-and-over, in blatant and very subtle ways, we are reminded that Jesus is our entire sufficiency—He even provides our faith!
Battle Plan A of the enemy did not crush the faithfulness of these believers, in his next wave of attack, Satan strategically switched to an alternate plan, a tried and tested plan that more-often-than-not works like a charm,” Battle Plan B. And that was to seduce these believers to compromise with the world around them.

Most have not accepted God’s intention or purpose in our suffering, especially when much of it came early on in our lives at the hands of those who were responsible to love us and care for us. Accordingly, at the core of our being is a deep festering wound of betrayal thatfor most it is buried deep within, never to be seen or understood, but always impairing the quality of their relationships both with people and with God. Yet, it is “by means of their suffering that He rescues those who suffer, for He gets their attention through adversity.
Through our suffering (caused by Yahweh) we learn how to trust ourselves to Yahweh and to no longer live for the lusts of men, whether that lust is expressed in anger, rebellion, hate, murder, idolatry, sensuality, or the lusts of the flesh (Cain), the lusts of the eyes (Balaam), and the boastful pride of life (Korah). He utilizes suffering to convince us that we are not the I AM and can never be our I AM; He must be. Accordingly, suffering is intended to convince us, over time, of the futility of relying upon ourselves and WHY it is always better to bet our lives on His name and not our own.

We come to the smallest letter which is addressed to the church at Smyrna. I like the fact that it is small because the message of this letter is all about suffering. Have you noticed when you talk to someone who is going through intense suffering, they do not want a lot of words or explanations? They tend to be good with just a few words of consolation and hope or with the comfort of someone’s presence. So here Jesus gives them a few words—7 sentences—intended to be a complete expression of what these believers need to adequately prepare for their dark-days and dark-nights of suffering.
When we are in the throes of suffering, time always has a way of testing our resolve to the point of breaking. In the early stages, especially if we have been warned or prepared, we tend to be able to handle suffering, even unjust suffering resulting from hateful accusations and misrepresentations. But as time goes on and on and on and on and on and on, and there seems to be no end in sight, we are tested in terms of our faithfulness. And time is crushing! Time seems to suck all life out of our HOPE and HOPE is necessary for our endurance.

Those at Ephesus had departed, fallen away, or apostatized from their relationship with Jesus. They had left their first love. What had gone wrong? They had stopped living by grace through faith—which is the vehicle by which God moves in-and-through our lives. Rather, they had become convinced that their works were in fact good and godly works. Yet, to live by grace through faith is that “first work” where we are believe with our heart, mind, soul, and strength that we are needy, and He is our only provision. Religion deludes us to this reality, and it tempts us to move from that place of 100% dependence upon God to a place where we ultimately confuse our works for His works.

The letter to the church at Ephesus. Theme: God hates religion! The Ephesians took the business of religion seriously. They were strong advocates for the faith, exposing false teachers. But Ephesus was all about the work of their hands, what they could do for God. 6 times, Jesus mentions “your works”. They simply were not works that were sourced in Him. And they had left, fallen away, apostatized from agape love—from the one who is agape love.
They are commanded to repent and do the first works that were rooted in agape love. They must let God change how they think about their relationship with Him and then let Him do the works of agape love.

Nothing could prepare John to see the glorified Son of Man. His emotions were overrun as he tried to connect his previous experience with Jesus the man to this image of Jesus the glorified Son of Man. He simply could not do it, so he fell at his feet as though dead. Jesus is introduced as the First and the Last, which is a statement on His prophetic declarations. He declares what will be and He brings it all about, it is always just a matter of time. He is also the living one, the one in whom we find our life. And He holds a mystery of 7-stars and 7-lampstands, which are the 7-angels who are assigned to each of the 7-churches. This is all about what He, Jesus, says to the churches.

Jesus speaks and identifies Himself as the Alpha and the Omega. Jesus being the “Alpha and Omega" communicates that He is eternal, outside of time, and all of time is held in His sovereign hands. He is the Lord God "who is and who was and who chooses to be coming, the Almighty." “Who is” speaks of Jesus being the Hayah, for He is the “I AM”.[1]Being rendered in the present active participle, it speaks of His eternal self-existent nature. “Who was” speaks of His incarnation, or His life on the Earth as a man, including His death and resurrection in bodily form. “Who now chooses to be coming” points to the fact that in His resurrected body, “He now is coming. He is the “Almighty” (El Shaddai)—all powerful and therefore fully able to accomplish all that He has promised and revealed.
John sees the glorified Son of Man. The image reveals His glory and depicts His royalty, divinity, authority, purity. Righteousness, penetrating wisdom, purifying fires of judgment, right to judge with each step, His sheer power and majesty, strength and authority, the one who cannot be deceived or misled.

John’s Commission and Introduction to our Lord God Almighty – the Alpha and the Omega. This is all about the unveiling of Jesus Christ more so than it is about the unveiling of future events. We must not ever divorce the person of Jesus Christ from the prophecies. They are first and foremost about Him as He is revealed over time.
The Father gave Jesus this revelation to show His bondservants what “must soon take place.” In effect, the events written about would now be launched onto the scene of human history, as “must” is rendered in the present tense. This indicates that certain aspects of what is going to be revealed to John will start occurring in his day-and-age and are NOT things or events we are waiting until the End Times to experience.
It is all inspired by the Spirit of God and was intended to be delivered to the bondservants of Jesus Christ. Thus, this is not a message whose primary audience are those in Christianity at large, and it is not a message targeted at those who are in the “world”.

The Tribulation is not the same as the Great Tribulation nor the time of the Lord’s Wrath. The Tribulation is comprised of two very distinct 3.5-year periods. The famed Great Tribulation, however, does not occur until AFTER an event called the Abomination of Desolation, which occurs during the middle, right between the two 3.5-year periods of time.
The Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord’s Wrath are synonymous terms. This time of wrath is demarcated by angels who literally pour out 7-bowls containing plagues and the wrath (or anger) of God. These bowls of wrath occur after the 7-seals are opened, after the 7-trumpets are blown, and after the Church is removed from this world in the event known as the rapture (remember, true believers are not appointed to wrath, therefore, they are not appointed to the Great Tribulation). This would place the wrath clearly at some point within in the second of the 3.5-year periods.
Overview: the general overview breaks down to 19 segments, because in Biblical numerology, 19 is Code symbol of God’s divine order in judgment, and that is exactly what this entire book is about. 9 is the number of judgment and 10 is God’s perfect multiplier for testing.
Jude and Revelation targets those within the visible church with a message which separates those who stand only on the goodness of God from those who are trying very hard to be good for God. For there is a fundamental difference between a person who is living for god and one who is willing to let god live in-and-through them. This is a difference which plays out in life and death—in those who are now choosing to be coming out of the great tribulation and those who will choose to endure wrath.

Continuing with the Introduction, we cover some of the mysterious references to time: days, months, times, times, and half a time and they mysterious and merciful prophetic number of 3.5. the numbers reveal that in God’s province, mercy and judgment are intertwined and are to be understood synonymously, as His judgment in the now is a time of grace (mercy in judgment) intended to help people avoid His wrath and destruction.
We also explore the difference between the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation, & the Time of Wrath. The Tribulation refers to two 3.5-year periods of time where Yahweh brings an end to all things that we know now. This time immediately precedes the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
The Great Tribulation is a defined term and not left to speculation. It begins very specifically after the Abomination of Desolation (when the man we call the Antichrist, declares that He is God) and it occurs after the rapture of the bondservants of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the Great Tribulation does not occur until sometime after the end of the first of the two 3-5-year periods.

To start any Biblical study, we need to do the customary who, what, where, when and why to frame for ourselves as much background information on this letter as possible. This gives us our context for applying this letter to our lives. Who is the Author? Who is the Audience? The What, the Where, the When and the Why of it all. We also touch on the historical setting, the Chronology of the book, and we look at time and how it is to be understood in prophetic literature.

In the book of Revelation, we are given a view of how Yahweh sees things; it is a view like no other and is delivered from the perspective of the heavenlies though images of angels, demons, horses, scrolls, trumpets, bowls, thrones, dominions, kingdoms, a dragon, a Beast, a woman who rides the Beast, etc. This glimpse into the heavenly realms makes it extremely difficult for our earthly minds to comprehend.
The Code helps us navigate the heavenly perspective and bring a tangible understanding to the Spirit’s use of colors, objects, numbers, and phrases, many which allude to various prophetic images from the Codex (the Old and New Testaments), as well as allusions to symbols from Greco-Roman mythology which were familiar to the Biblical authors.
Throughout the Codex, Yahweh uses idioms and language with a two-fold purpose. On-the-one-hand, in His mercy, He purposes to cloud from understanding those who do not yet have eyes to see or ears to hear, and on-the-other-hand He purposes to give understanding to those who are now seeking and desiring the truth.

“ALL scripture is inspired by God” (or literally, “God breathed”)[1]and therefore the truth is NOT dependent upon custom, convention, or the authors’ own choices separate from how the Spirit led them to write and express themselves. “For no word of prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke form God”.
Throughout the Codex (the entirety of the Biblical text), the Holy Spirit used the language as He desired in such an exacting way that it reveals patterns and distinguishing characteristics (Code). The Code is the cypher (or the plumb line) for interpreting the Codex. Without a plumb line to interpret the Codex, we tend to interject our own opinion and bias into the text.
For there is a truth the Spirit wants us to understand, though communicated in Code through colors, objects, numbers, and phrases, all of which, along with the Key Language Elements—the use of verbs (Toolbox 1 which we covered in Jude), provides us a deeper or alternate meaning than we might otherwise conclude just reading the English translations.

We are continuing our exploration of what it means to live as a bondservant knowing WHY we can believe and trust ourselves completely to Jesus and practically HOW to bet our lives on His name. In so doing, we show mercy to others by choosing to deal with them not based on their sin, but on God’s perfect love and His perspective of the sin in our lives. It is how we consider others more important than ourselves. This is how we choose to live in Him instead of living for Him.

We started this study in Jude 1 by understanding what it means to be a bondservant of Jesus Christ and we close this letter with solid instruction on what that practically looks like. First, we are to build each other up in our faith. This speaks to our neediness, it speaks to our inability, it speaks to our utter and desperate dependence upon God, and it speaks to our need-to-know God for whom He says He is, and to understand and believe who He says we are to Him.

The Spirit is clear, we must ignore the boasts of these apostates and instead choose to listen to what the apostles of our Lord Jesus always said and stand for the truth. We all have a job to protect the body of Christ from apostasy. We must continue to shepherd one another and guard each other all the while willing to lead each other and to follow. We must be willing to stick together as a family in Jesus and fight for each other.

When Yahwehcomes, His purpose will be to execute judgment or literally to bring about crisis upon the ungodly. The idea being communicated is that this judgment is not going to be pretty, as this will be a reckoning. It will be very personal; thus, He is not going to send His angels to do His dirty work. Jesus Himself is going to bring judgment on ALL the ungodly for all the ungodly stuff they have done in an ungodly way, and for all the nasty things that these ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
The time to choose will have passed. Jesus will prove to all that He alone is good, that He alone is righteous (He is Yahweh Tsidkenu), He alone is Yahweh Adonai (the Lord), and they are not!

Grumblers, malcontents, loud-mouthed boasters. These people are out to please themselves to gain advantage of others for their own benefit—to satisfy their own sinful desires and to promote their own agenda of social and religious advancement. They are ministry builders who use others, in the name of God, to build their platform of achievement.
These idioms mean that it does not matter how much a spiritual leader talks about the word of God, quotes the word of God, or does good deeds in accordance with the word of God, if their lives do not produce God's agape love—the fruit of the Spirit—it is all for naught. As the Spirit affirms, religious ceremony and activity means nothing, all that matters is faith expressing itself through God’s agape love.

The second statement in Triad 12 speaks of these teachers shepherding themselves without fear. The implication is that they are without the fear of Yahweh. These teachers, these dreamers are fools, for they do not allow themselves to be shepherded by wisdom and knowledge—by the fear of Yahweh. Rather, without fear, they shepherd themselves.
The third statement in Triad 12speaks of “Clouds without water”. What an amazing word picture. The idea is that we see clouds coming, we have great expectation for rain, provision, refreshment, satisfaction, shade even, and we have great hope for life. After all, we desperately need what they are promising. But they do not deliver, and they cannot deliver because they are dry—they have nothing to give.

We pick up with the third (6) of the mysterious 666. The third example is found in the rebellion of Korah, which is represented by those who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ—those who are seduced by “the boastful pride of life” e.g., the lust for power and authority over the people. Those who follow in Korah’s rebellion want the power, the rule, the authority, and they want it now. These apostates are found in the midst of believers, but they are like craggy rocks, shepherding themselves, clouds without water and will shipwreck our lives; but with discernment and judgment we can know and should know the apostates in our midst and not fall prey to their religious licentiousness.

We have now come to the center piece of the text with the apostasies of Cain, Balaam, and Korah. The Spirit uses a triad of Old Testament examples of apostasy as a picture and a WARNING and as a sign which gives us insight into the meaning of the infamous and mysterious 666 –the number of the Beast.

In Jude 10 the Spirit is addressing those who had crept into the church and introduced perversions to the grace of God. The Spirit is warning that despite their seductive words, which tend to sound so right because they sound so “religious,” these people are led (and judged) by their instincts. As such, they are like wild or unreasoning animals. If they do not like or understand something, they will revile it or speak impiously about it (which is what it means to blaspheme). And they exercise their blasphemy and perversions from within the church—they may be those who themselves have a pulpit or a platform, or who have corrupted those with a pulpit or a platform.

The picture that is painted for us in the 5th through the 9th triad is tragic, and it sets up for us Jude 10 and 11. All the judgments against the Israelites, the rebellious angels, Sodom and Gomorrah, and even the devil came from the direct hand of God. We must understand how serious God is about the wrong belief and unbelief that leads to apostasy. It does not matter who you are or what position of AUTHORITY you now occupy, if you abandon the place that God has called you to possess, you will experience the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth

We now come to 3 groups of triads (the 5th, 6th, and 7th triad). The Spirit begins with a sarcastic or jabbing comment, but His point is that they had already deviated from what they knew to be true. They had already set aside the truth and were walking on a dangerous and perilous pathway of wrong belief and unbelief that would lead to apostasy. They were teetering on becoming like the first generation of Israelites who were freed from Egypt lived out their lives as apostates—holding to a form of religion, but never willing to bet their lives on all that Yahweh said He was, and all that He said He was going to do.

Sadly, people cling to their religion despite its impotency for it does not result in their freedom from sin or in the peace and rest which they so desperately desire and which they are promised. Accordingly, they fight the truth or else they would have to admit they believe a lie. The Spirit is clear, all that matters is a faith which manifests itself in God’s agape love—a love that can only be produced by the Spirit of God.

We all want mercy in that we do not want God to deal with us as we deserve. But what we do not tend to grasp is that God’s mercy demands that He do whatever it takes to remove all the obstacles of wrong belief and unbelief from our lives—to remove all obstacles that war against Him being our I AMin all things, all the time. Mercy is the means by which God attempts to free us from all that will lead us apostate.

Jude addresses the culture that will be prevalent during the End Times – a culture that is even now rampant within the visible church (the place where all the action is centered). After all, it is from within the visible church that the platform is laid for the Beast to deceive those who are to otherwise know better. We will address the Who, What, Where, When and Why of this letter and jump into verse 1. But be warned, Jude pulls from stories dealing with ancient Israel, angels, demons, cities of old, as well as the time right after the Garden of Eden through the final judgment on the earth. Jude even quotes extra-Biblical documents, assuming that we should all be readily familiar with the information.

Too many “believers” are trying to be friends with those in world (especially the world of religion) by sheepishly joining them in their darkness instead of drawing them into the light. And still others are trying to redefine relationships between those in the light and those in the darkness into some co-existent grey, just so they can get something that they think they need from those relationships. But that never works. It is just a recipe for disaster, emptiness, loneliness, pain, despair, and a set up for apostasy.

Jude andRevelation utilizes a unique Code that is communicated through colors, numbers, symbols, and images, all of which portray a deeper or alternate meaning than what we might otherwise conclude. The Codex that we will use to break the Code (or the key to understand the Code) is found in the Old Testament and New Testament as they provide the prophetic framework for understanding both Jude and Revelation. The first toolbox to breaking the Code will be found in the underlying use of language as every little detail was put there by the Spirit of God for our exploration and understanding.

The Bible is written primarily to instruct those within the household of God. Extraordinarily little of its message is directed to those on the outside. Rather, Yahweh instructs those He has brought into His own household not to choose to live in unbelief, for the consequences of unbelief are dire. In Jude and Revelation, the commands, exhortations, requests, and pleas are for Yahweh’s children to now and continually believe—to always be found believing!

Due to many of the religious fictions which abound in our day-and-age, it does not readily enter the believers’ worldview that Jude and Revelation speak directly, personally, to them. In large part, believers think it is addressed primarily to unbelievers (those in the world) or to those who have “obviously” gone apostate; but that is far from the truth. The messages of both Jude and Revelation direct intense warnings to those who identify as believers (those within the household of God) and exhorts them to, now and continually, bet their lives on the truth of who Jesus is – Yahweh, our God Almighty

With Yahweh, everything is always personal, and that includes how He handles and deals with the name of the Father, which was also given by the Father to the Son. He values and cherishes this name, as it is His memorial name to all generations. Yahwehis the name by which we must come to know Him such that we call on His name. “If we call on His name we will be saved, for there is much power in thename when it is accompanied by faith.”
Our primary goal in studying the names of God has been twofold: 1) to come know our King so well that we become fully convinced—based on all the facts—that we would be foolish to put our trust in anything or anyone else (especially ourselves); and 2) to be fully convinced that all our decisions, no matter how trivial, must be made based on the reality of the character and nature of our King, which has been revealed by the name.

Yahweh Yasha, means that Yahweh Frees or Yahweh Saves. Yahweh Yasha releases the captives and sets free the oppressed. This specific name speaks to what He does in our lives, He frees us and saves us from ourselves, from our Old Sinful Nature (our flesh), from all our attachments to this world, from our fear, and from everything in our lives that stands in opposition to His being our I AM.

Yahweh asks us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, letting Him do what He needs to do and slay what He needs to slay to secure and stabilize us in Him as one of the chosen. All He wants is our willingness. “Willingness” is a free will offering. It is not a duty, compulsion, or obligation; rather, it is a relational reciprocation to the invitation He has extended for us to be transformed into the image of the Son. And Yahweh Shalom makes us safe and has bound us in peace despite the mess that results from our willingness to b a sacrifice. Always we are safe with the Father, we are safe with the Son, and we are safe with the Holy Spirit.

Yahweh Shalom. Yahweh is Peace. Peace is not so much a feeling as it is an aspect of Yahweh’s personhood that is personally experienced through the Design Point. In the same way that we are told that God is love, we now know that Yahweh is peace. Thus, to experience this peace, we need the one who is peace to be living in and through our lives. Peace is Yahweh.
Therefore, those who are now believing in Yahweh have peace because they have Him who is peace.

All the angels, even the demonic nasty evil creatures (including Satan) work for Yahweh Sabaoth and they are ministering spirits, sent out to render service to those who will inherit salvation. They are servants to the children of God. And there is nothing those bad angels can do against a chosen one of God unless they first receive Yahweh Sabaoth’s permission to “minister” to a chosen one of God (in demonic terms, to come against them) and receive guarantee by Yahweh Sabaoth of their plan’s limitations and success.

Yahweh Sabaoth (the Lord of Heaven’s Armies” or the “Lord of Hosts”) is the most used compound name referring to Yahweh. This name declares is that the good angels and the demonic angels (all the evil beings) work for Yahweh. They all do what He commands and are all subject to Him. This is consistent with what we have learned in our study of Yahweh Adonai, there are no rogue or free agents, just servants subject to Yahweh’s strict administration, and that includes the spiritual being we call Satan.

The name Yahweh Jireh covers every aspect of our existence on this earth, both physical and spiritual. Yahweh Jireh will meet every need we have in terms of equipping us to complete all the work which the Father has assigned to us.
He is our bread; He is our springs of water that never run dry; He is our life; our comfort; and He is our love. He is even the full provision for our fear, pride, and the means to conquer all the enemies in our land. And we should not be surprised, but Yahweh Jireh is also the one who provides all our good work, as all we have accomplished that has any value or worth has come from Yahweh and not from ourselves. Practically and spiritually, He is our complete provision.

In the exodus journey out of Egypt, Yahweh confirmed a covenant with His people, and He stated, “for you shall not worship any other god, for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” Thus, He lets Moses, and the people, know that jealousy goes to the very fabric of His personhood, as it defines His name. Thus, in the same way that He knew Moses by name, He wanted Moses and all the people to know Him by His name.

The “called” is a term that refers to all who are in the household of God. But the term “chosen” refers to the sons of God (those sons of promise in the manner of Isaac) and not to the slaves who live in His household (those sons of servitude in the manner of Ishmael).
A chosen one of God has been called by Yahweh Mekoddishkem (as they are both the called and the chosen), however, being one who is called into the household of God does not automatically make that person a chosen son of promise. In fact, far too many who are called choose to live as slaves bound to the law and are ironically doing lawless deeds. They will be cast out of the presence of Yahweh, He will claim to not know them, and they will be relegated to the furnace of fire where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

According to Exodus 31 and Leviticus 20 if those who were called by Yahweh Mekoddishkem(made holy) rejected the Sabbath life, they would 1) get cut off from the people of God, and 2) be subject to the death penalty. And these same two consequences are applicable to our lives when we reject the Sabbath life.

Yahweh Mekoddishkem has selected people out from amongst the great sea of humanity to be His own—to be holy—much like He did with the nation of Israel. Why? Because that is what He does. No one earns it, no one deserves it; rather, like a dragnet that pulls in all manner of fish, Yahweh Mekoddishkem pulls in all manner of people into His household from all the nations, peoples, tongues, and tribes of this world declaring that they are holy, set apart unto Him.
As such, the name Yahweh Mekoddishkem encapsulates the fundamental principle of grace: it is all about what He has done (100%) and nothing (0%) about what we have done or can do for Him. He does the work of making us holy; we simply must be willing to let Him.

Yahweh Mekoddishkem—Yahwehwho sanctifies, sets us apart, or declares us to be holy. This name declares a spiritual fact: those who bet their lives upon His name have been set apart from everything and everyone as belonging exclusively to God. They have become His personal possession. This is what it means to be made holy. To be holy does not mean to be without sin, or to behave in a certain prescribed way, it means to be set apart from all else for a special purpose—God’s purpose.

To practically know Jesus by His name Yahweh Tsidkenu, we must be willing to come to grips with our absolute inability to be good, and by faith relinquish all our own attempts at finding favor, blessing, and right standing with God, and with other believers, though what we do.
We must let go of all our “would have’s,” “could have’s,” and “should have’s” of our life, and never return to their lies, especially the one that tells us that “next time, we will”.
We must detest the work of our hands knowing that even our best goodness before God is not much more than a dirty, filthy, bloody rag. And this truth must move from a Christian cliché to a personal truth invading our heart, mind, soul, and our strength.

Yahweh makes no distinction amongst the races and tongues of mankind. Yahweh is well, Yahweh of all. And salvation is experienced, or it is acquired, as we choose to call on His name. Which, by the way, is what the whole transformation process is all about. As we choose to walk down that road of trouble (or squeezing), He wants us to learn to call out to Him (and to no other) and come to know Him intimately by name, such that we come to trust Him implicitly. When we bet our lives upon His name, salvation is the promise, unrestrained freedom is the guarantee, righteousness is the reward.

Our “salvation” is one of the paramount promises made to those who have been called into the household of God. Yet, salvation is the result of our strong confession, which comes as a fruit of the work of the Holy Spirit and something that comes because of our having been caused to confess as a personal covenant and proclamation that Jesus is our I AM.
To be able to make the bold personal promise that Jesus is our I AM, we must first learn WHY we can trust Him to be our I AM and HOW to trust Him as our I AM in each area of our soul. And this comes in somewhat of a sequential manner throughout our lives.

To confess with the mouth Jesus as Yahweh, means that we are making a solid and sworn profession or a covenant to be identified according to that profession. In effect, this is a strong profession that Jesus is more than the I AM, but it is personalized, He is my I AM. And Declaring Jesus as Yahweh, as our I AM, brings forward all His personal promises into our lives.

If we want to have great obstacles removed from our life, if we want to instantly experience the dead and dying trees withering before us, first we have the requirement for each of us to have faith. Check, God has given each of us a measure of faith (presumably bigger than a mustard seed). Therefore, we are fully equipped for action; we have been given what is necessary. But the catch is that we must not doubt, or we must not let anything cause us to doubt, this is a work God must do in us.

I am sure that every time you have come across some amazing promise in scriptures and get all excited that they are for you, suddenly you realize there is a catch, something that must happen to release that promise, and then as you start digging into the catch you realize that there is often a catch to that first catch, and in this case, there is a triple catch: a catch to a catch to a catch.
In short, God has given me understanding of the mysterious passages which say that if we had even the smallest amount of faith, the faith of a mustard seed, we would be able to say to a mountain: “be removed and be picked up and thrown into the sea and it would obey.”

Yahweh is the sovereign Lord (in control of all things all of the time).
Yahweh is good.
We are aliens and strangers in this world.
