More about Virginia: Born and bred in the dusty streets of Gugulethu in Cape Town a Woman of Strength emerged just like a caterpillar that had to go through some rigorous stretching to get to this point. She burnt at the tender age of 22 months (1 year, 10 months) and what seemed like a tragedy on that day turned out to be a victory for God because what the devil tried to destroy the Lord has used in a supernatural way for His glory. A mom of three boys but a mother to many, a qualified Social Worker and HR Professional and enjoys volunteering. She thoroughly enjoys inspiring people through her life lessons and God inspired wisdom. She is well travelled, locally and internationally with the intention of touching lives everywhere she goes. Ndivhuwo Tshivhase has an amazing story to tell about his great love for education and how he helps learners make informed career decisions.
On this episode he shares with us what teaching really is and the joys of teaching. He also shares about how you can better prepare yourself when you step into the classroom for the first time. About Complacency Learning: It all started when Mr Ndivhuwo Tshivhase, the founder, would sit with his mom late at night doing mathematics sums. That was when he was in foundation phase (about grade 2). His mom would give him a smack for all incorrect answers as well as for lack of confidence.
As he progresses to different academic phases, his mom would often tell him to use the knowledge and skills he has been taught every time he presents mathematics related questions. Ndivhuwo went straight to University of Pretoria after completing his matric where he obtained his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree then work as a teacher.
The founder, Ndivhuwo Tshivhase, was a post level one teacher with about 4 years of teaching experience at The way Christian School when few parents approached him and asked if he could assist their children individually after school. Ndivhuwo and few parents got together for what was to be the first of many tutoring sessions and a long term relationship. For the rest of the year, they met regularly for amazing lessons that kept them together till this date.
With the teaching qualification and experience in large classrooms, Ndivhuwo discovered that he was able to get in the shoes of learners and help them engage in learning. Many students would often tell him “you are very patient”, “you take what seems hard and make it easy”, “I had difficulties understanding the concept from my teacher” and et cetera. That encouraged Ndivhuwo to continue to do great work as his services were very much appreciated.

I have known James Macneil for some time. He is the real deal. Genuine, passion, gifted orator. I attended the DreamLife weekend in November. https://go.jamesmacneil.com/ James and Michael have similar thoughts. If this speaks to you, I urge you to put it in the calendar and block off the time. You don't want to be multi-tasking, gems will be missed.
There are so many inspired people with great messages. Not everyone is for everyone. Ha ha we can hear a message from someone we may judge or think less of and not hear their message. Then hear the same (similar) message from another whom we admire and voila, we get it!
Bob Proctor says "Most people are playing supporting roles in their life rather than Be the director." We let others decide for us. The book that really started my journey of self-awareness and purpose is Your Erroneous Zones, Wayne Dyer. Given to me at 18 years old by my boss. Ha ha I thought, my boss thinks I'm crazy and then read the book because I was a People Pleaser. Ha ha #fun and it changed my life. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Wow I just found the audiobook read by Wayne Dyer - https://youtu.be/VaM5L-z5Kgw This was a pivotal moment in my life. I wish I mentioned Wayne Dyer in my top 3 people.
