In this podcast we talk about why women start less businesses than men in Mexico? Is it true that there are barriers that women engage in starting a new business? Do women fail more than men in entrepreneurship?
Through our podcast we are going to discover what women had lived when starting their business and what is their reality in Mexico. To do that we have conducted some interviews and research and we intend to provide women a framework of what are the barriers that women face for starting their entrepreneurial path in Mexico and how to overcome them.
In today's chapter, we are going to talk about the 10 best tips that we could give women to overcome the barriers and obstacles that we have talked about in other chapters. This recommendations are based on the 6 interviews that we did to women entrepreneurs in Mexico and we hope that you will find some inspiration to grow your ideas into viable and successful businesses.
In this episode we discover key elements that help women to feel empowered by providing advice to our female audience. We discuss briefly the importance of the network you build as an entrepreneur and its benefits. We talk about what is the best environment that helps a woman become an entrepreneur and what are the things that are given up or gained by following this path. Finally, we address age and male chauvinism as examples of uncomfortable situations that occur when you have a business.

This chapter deals with the role of women in the family, and the challenges this entails for entrepreneurship.
