This summer, we are re-airing our favourite Canadian Love Map episodes. We found this love story when we stumbled upon a viral news story back in Season 2.

Marissa and Anthony were teen sweethearts who had a fairy-tale relationship. When Anthony passed away unexpectedly at 36, Marisa was left with intense grief, 3 daughters to raise and a long-lost memory of an orange Honda CRX.

20 years after the car had been sold, a nostalgic search began. With the support of friends, family and even strangers - she was reunited with her late husband’s prized possession.

The newly found car is now a labour of love, as Marisa is bringing it back to it's old form. The project is helping those who loved Anthony keep his memory alive.

This week, it's all about mom! We are celebrating the maternal figures in our lives. In this special Mother’s Day episode, listeners and a few past guests are sharing their messages of love and gratitude.

Maybe it’s biological. It could be a family friend, or even a mentor who helped contribute to the person we are today. Sometimes, it’s someone who is no longer with us, but who’s spirit still guides us through life. These are the relationships that shape us, and the stories that will stick with us forever.

There is nothing quite like a mother’s love.

Sometimes we forget that home is not about physical things, it's the people you are with. And sometimes, their safety is all you need.

Today's love story belongs to Anna and Valeriia, two Ukrainian sisters. They left their home in Odessa, the day the war started, and eventually made their way to Canada. Here, the sisters have rebuilt their lives, along with their teenage sister and Anna's young son.

This story encompasses sorrow, but also a surprising amount of joy. Filled with immense strength, resilience, and many skills they gained in Ukraine, they are both thriving in their careers and enjoying their new Canadian home. It even seemed meant to be, as Valeiira landed a job with Strongest Families, helping fellow Ukrainians navigate mental health challenges as they arrive in Canada.

Is it possible to make a meaningful romantic connection in just 6 minutes? According to our guest, matchmaker and dating coach Jean-Eva Dickie, you can.

In the world of modern dating, it can be easy to stay in our comfort zone and stick to the convenience of online dating. But beautiful things can happen when you get out of your comfort zone.

Speed Dating events get people off their phones and in front of potential matches. It's a fast and formulaic approach that gives singles the confidence and tools to help them navigate the modern, and sometimes frustrating, dating world.

In a special Insights edition of Canadian Love Map, Jean-Eva Dickie tells us all about how it works, why it works and everything in between.

On the Canadian Love Map, we have heard about weddings of all kinds, both extravagant and intimate. Whether it's a ceremony in front of hundreds of people, or tying the knot privately under a palm tree in Jamaica. The common thread in it all is love.

In a very special bonus episode, we step into the world of the wedding industry, from the perspective of the people responsible for capturing one of the most important days in their clients lives.

Weddings aren't always smooth sailing. So when the seas get choppy, it's often the role of the professionals involved to take the helm and steer the proceedings back to peaceful waters. We'll hear what this looks like from the point of view of two very different companies who offer very different services to their clients. We find out what they've learned about love through capturing it.

Arrow & Knot built itself on a passion for storytelling through video. Kristen and Jane met while studying Broadcast Journalism, where they brought stories to life through their extensive training in film, editing, and of course, storytelling. Arrow & Knot has a style that is distinctive from anyone else. They produce quality cinematic videos that are timeless and clean, and are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on its viewers.

Elope Halifax provides stress-free and meaningful small wedding and elopement packages in Halifax. They help simplify the process, so couples can concentrate on the love and not the planning. Tyler uses his photography skills to capture magical moments of the day, while Jennie officiates and tailors each ceremony to fit the personality of their clients, whether that be lighthearted or traditional.
