I hope everyone's doing well and staying healthy. I'm so thankful to everyone who's been listening and enjoying my podcast. Episode 4 is two stories! The first one being the continuation of the Mumble house story from the last episode - oh how we love cliff hangers! I might do that again. And the second story was written by an author who'd like to remain anonymous as they're still getting their feet wet with writing. So I appreciate them allowing me to read one of their stories.

I'd appreciate it if you went back to the authors of any of the stories I feature on my show and support them as well! Without them I wouldn't have a podcast.

I’m Heidi Peterson and welcome to episode one of the Until Daylight Podcast. We’ll be reading 2 terrifying stories today.

Since this is the first episode I’d like to just do a quick introduction. I’ve loved scary stories for as long as I can remember, there’s something about them that keeps me so hooked on them, and keeps me coming back for more. I have always wanted to dabble in the world of storytelling and narration, and I am finally taking that dive, and hope you’ll join me along the way.

Today’s stories were read with the permission of their respective authors.

We read “This journal was discovered in a national forest. Can you help identify the author?” by reddit user u/Gtripp14. https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/vs0vbf/this_journal_was_discovered_in_a_national_forest/

And “The Walk” by reddit user u/cobernthagoat. https://www.reddit.com/r/shortscarystories/comments/vnwrfc/the_walk/

If you enjoyed this episode and would be so kind as to share it so that I can grow, I’d be so thankful.

If you have a story that you’d like me to read on the podcast, please feel free to send it to my email at untildaylightpodcast@gmail.com. I’d love to read and share your stories.
