I argue that 2 Corinthians 5:21 does not mean we receive Christ's righteousness, but that we become the righteousness of God in the sense that we act as ambassadors who enact God's "rightwising" activity.
I argue from the Gospel of Mark that not all believers literally followed Jesus. I ponder what this might mean for Christians today.
