The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is seeing the fruits of the spirit be a reality in your life in a supernatural way. Speaking in tongues can be a fruit of that. You do not need the gift of tongues to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Being tuned to life means being present and focus of Jesus. My friend Kyle passed away from liver cancer and I talk about the lesson I learned through that season in life.
We have to be in the presence of God in order to hear from him.
God primarily speaks through the Bible.

A story on how my dirt bike was stolen and I was reminded of the value of having a big picture perspective.
As we dive into scripture we find it clear that drinking alcohol in moderation is okay, and being drunk is sinful.
We need to love our neighbor as ourselves, and sometimes we need to just agree to disagree.
When I mention culture in the podcast, I am referring to the culture of the world. There is obviously good culture out there. I just wanted to say that for clarification.
Building your life on Jesus builds your character when a storm hits.
Building your life in the world just brings failure and destruction when a storm hits.
If you want to be a good leader, you have to lead yourself.
If you fail to communicate, you still communicate.
Fail forward.
