Love Lived Here is an Audio-Docuseries exploring loss and grief in the context of the complete human experience. Through conversations and stories, listeners are invited to better understand normal grief, and offered ideas and support for navigating their own loss and grief journeys – past, present, and future.
Those wanting to effectively support the broken hearted will learn valuable and sometimes hard lessons from Love Lived Here about what works and perhaps more importantly, what does not.
Love Lived Here is co-hosted by University of Montana’s Dr. Mary-Ann Sontag Bowman and Missoula educator, Amanda Maughan. The first season chronicles the soul shattering experience of losing Amanda’s beloved teenage son to suicide, and negotiating what Samuel Beckett described when he wrote, “You must go on. I can't go on. I'll go on.” Tears, laughter, profound grief, past and current joys, and most of all: Love. It is all there to be experienced and learned from in Love Lived Here.
In the season finale, Amanda shares her Firewall, and details the duties of these people.
Mary-Ann and Amanda share how the holidays have changed and the heartwarming story of some kind folks known only as "The Elf Squad".
Amanda and Mary-Ann discuss how death affects relationships, as they continue with Harrison's story.
Last week, you met Harrison and our co-host Amanda. In this week's episode, Aftermath, we walk with Amanda explores the complexities of loss in the continuation of this story.
