This is a weekly series of short lessons, designed specifically to help you improve yourself, improve your daily life, find motivation and find courage to pursue your life’s dreams and be your best self. All in less than a coffee break. My name is Egle Vaite and I am here to take you on a journey of self-discovery.
Rest is also productive. If you're caught up in a culture of always keeping busy and false believes that overworking is a sign of success you need to watch this. Trust me burning out will not get you closer to your dreams. So this holiday season here at Mind-do we are all about rest. And we have decided to take our own advice so with this episode we say goodbye for now and we wish you a magical holiday filled with love: for others and for yourself.

This week we're talking about education and why it is important. This is not an attempt to make everyone go to university or anything like that, this is just a look at education itself and how it's starting to lose value in public eye due to poor systems of education and misunderstandings of what it is meant to do. So have a look and decide for yourself what the value of education is to you.

In this episode I talk about visualisation and how to use it to help yourself achieve your dreams. Visualisation is an incredibly important part of the law of attraction. Your subconscious doesn’t actually know the difference between your imagination and reality. That’s why reality essentially is all in your head, and you can create for yourself the reality that you want. And you can do that by using visualisation as one of the tools. And in this episode I explain how and share some of my own practices.

In this episode we will talk about doubt as a tool of critical thinking and why it is so important. A lot of the times the inclination and the ability to doubt is all that separates a follower from a leader. Doubt is what encourages the pursuit of truth over believing everything you see or hear. Doubt is what grows curiosity and encourages you to think for yourself. To hear more and learn how to integrate this into your life and your thinking watch the episode and leave a rating for us.

There is no and there shouldn't be no one single definition of what a perfect body looks like. You should create that definition for yourself in your mind and not because someone else told you how that should look like, but because you yourself will feel happy and comfortable in it. And that can be whatever you want it to be. But then how do you get to that perfect image from your mind to the reflection in the mirror? This is exactly what we will discuss in this episode. But most importantly remember, you are unique and you are beautiful jus the way you are!

This week we will be talking about how to learn your lessons and how to became that straight A student of life. Learning your life lessons can be potentially the most challenging aspect of self-development. That’s because we each have very unique individual lessons to learn that have been designed by life specifically for us. And there’s no guide or book that will tell you what your life lessons are. So it's really important we actively work to learn what those lessons are. In this episode I will show how you can put that work in to simplify that process of learning and help you work out your life lessons faster and easier.

This week I want to talk to you about one of the most common excuses that we all make in order to avoid taking responsibility for our own lives, to avoid making those hard decisions and avoid change. In fact it’s such a pertinent excuse, it almost doesn’t seem like an excuse. And that excuse is “That’s just who I am”. How often do you say to yourself - I wish I could wake up early like all these famous billionaires, but "I'm just not a morning person" or I wish I could go for a run every morning to have a healthier lifestyle, but "I'm just not a runner". All these little excuses our mind tricks us into believing stops us from achieving our full potential. Listen to this episode to learn how to stop getting in the way of your own success and take charge of your life and your decisions.

However, the way our minds perceive danger today and the danger that fear was developed to protect us from are two completely different things. That's why it is important to separate those and understand our fears and our minds better. Truth is 80% of everything we are afraid of never actually happens. And fear can be very debilitating when working towards your goals, that's why it's important to master it.
