Welcome to Little Bit Weebish – the podcast where two longtime friends discover the other also likes anime and they get to relive and discuss their favorite anime episode by episode. Currently covering Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin.
It’s the final “manga book club” episode for Toilet-bound Hanako-kun and it was the best time! Megan and Kaylea discuss volumes 7-9. This also heavily covers content not at all found in the anime! Join if you’ve read or don’t mind potential spoilers.

Let’s go further into the Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun manga series. Megan and Kaylea discuss volumes 4-6. Join if you’ve read or don’t mind potential spoilers. We’ll cover the Little Mermaid, Mitsuba, Tea Party, and “hands” chapters that are similar to the anime, but there’s MORE. A hint at what’s new to come: the identity of the No. 1 School Mystery and Nene’s big news. We're still wrecked over that news too. MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!

We are in the middle of the battle in Shiganshina. Marley attempts to take down Zeke and Eren. Both Eren's friends and the Yeagerists are trying to protect Eren from harm. The two should meet. In a brief moment, Colt, Falco, and Gabi reach Zeke just before he screams. Colt pleads on Falco's behalf – asking Zeke to let them escape just far enough to prevent Zeke from transforming. But Zeke apologizes and continues. Falco and the Paradis military leaders who drank the tainted wine transform in bursts of light. Things do not look good. In this episode, we cover:

Well, Megan and Sam are already devastated at the start of Season 4 Part 2. It is presumed that Levi is dead and Hange, thankfully, escapes the Yeagerists with Levi downstream. The Yeagerists, though, were distracted by the appearance of Zeke, who'd healed completely despite blowing himself up with a thunder spear. The group makes their way to Shiganshina, where Eren is fighting Reiner, Galliard and Pieck in an epic battle. The Yeagerists and Marleyan military are also fighting. Things do not look good and Onyankopon rushes to Eren's friends to help save their last hope. Interestingly enough, the Marleyans also believe they are the last hope for the world. They cannot let Zeke and Eren meet under any circumstances. In this episode, we cover:

The Beast Titan was so distracted by Commander Erwin and the Scouts that he hardly noticed the lineup of taller titans falling like dominos. That's when we all experience the epicness of Captain Levi who attempts to take down the Beast. Meanwhile, the surviving scouts within the walls need to take down Bertholdt and Reiner in their titan forms. In this episode, we will cover:

Yes, another Harry Potter reference – but how could you not with the retelling of Commandant Sadis's life?!
Megan and Sam discuss what it means to be a bystander in the world of AOT, which was heavily referenced in the retelling of when Sadis met Grisha Yaeger, and also the hopeful look to the future as the Scouts prepare to retake Wall Maria from the titans. In this episode, we discuss:

The visual of Rod's Reiss’s abnormal titan is not for the faint of heart. Megan and Sam pick back up again with Rod making his way toward Orvud. The Scouts discover the best option is to keep the Orvud citizens in place in hopes that Rod won't change direction. Eren's "coordinate" ability doesn't work on Rod, so their next hope is to work with the Garrison to take him down and get Historia on the throne to finalize their coup de'tat. Things we did not see on the Bingo Board of 2021: that we'd agree with Kenny Ackerman. Megan and Sam start out in this episode with Rod Reiss attempting to convince his daughter, Historia, to take the mantle of becoming a titan to eradicate the other titans and save humanity. Just as his previous daughter decided to do. Will Historia take the power back? Or will it be a power of her own?

They went all over in OKC and DFW and went to the HGTV mothership (aka Magnolia) and attempted to find the anime mothership (Funimation lol)!
Listen along as the two reminisce on their trip as well as share a few fun announcements! You don’t want to miss this!

Plus, they have a few special announcements. Stay tuned!

As they are approached by the Scouts, we learn more about Ymir’s past and why she is so determined to live by her own terms. It is because of that, that she must grab Historia if she’s to leave with Reiner and Bertholdt. This delay puts Commander Erwin and the Scouts right at their tail – they are that much closer to taking Eren.

Eren's Titan form goes head-to-head with Reiner as the Armored Titan. From brothers in arms to complete enemies, Eren is almost successful in the fight, but ultimately Reiner wins thanks to Bertholdt's diversion. Both of the traitorous scouts escape with Eren and Ymir but the military, lead by Commander Erwin, will do all they can to get them back or die in the process.
